So, I've been catching up on the G5 content, and as I've previously mentioned, I've been given stupid ideas regarding a grown-up Anon who awakens near Maretime Bay shortly after the Make Your Mark 1hr special (listed on Netflix as Chapter 1).
Well, that stupid idea has ended up in the production phase. The story is presented as an anthology/slice of life type affair. As Anonymous Flicker struggles to fit in to Maretime Bay after a less-than stellar introduction, (The 'Ah, after ten thousand years I'm free! It's time to conquer Equestria!' psyche-out), it's suggested to her that she make a vlog so that ponies can get to know her and see that she's not an evil shapeshifter out to steal their love.
Each chapter, or 'Vlog' after the prologue, begins with Anon starting a video and answering questions about herself, or being a changeling, that are sent in by viewers. She then uses these questions to set the basis for retelling a related happening during her stay in Maretime Bay. Although these chapters will technically progress along the storyline of the G5 series, not all of her stories will be presented linearly. For example, the exact specifics of her arrival in Maretime Bay aren't immediately put forth.
You will also get to see what kind of pony Anon grows up to be, and some of the shenanigans she gets into with her flagrant use of her shape-shifting powers. This is considered side content and not going to be my main focus, but rather something for fun... fluffy sort of stuff involving better-adjusted Anonymous Flicker as she struggles to adapt to life countless centuries in the future.

What sorts of shenanigans would you like to see, or what kinds of questions would you like to see Anon answer on her vlog?
One question she has been asked is 'What is the extent of your shape-shifting abilities? Are there limits such as creature type? Can you become anypony you meet? Could you feasibly be beside a pony without them even knowing?' and serves as the framing device of the first vlog.
I even have her first encounter with precious Misty planned out.
I'm going to be the worst kind of viewer/reader then, one who selfishly just consumes whatever you put out here and leave a thumbs up. (I haven't been disappointed in anything you've done yet)
Honestly I'm fine with anything, and it's too early for me to be asking questions, if someone has I good question, I'd just thumbs up their question.
This does sound quite fun tho, I look forward to it.

That sounds really fun. I imagine she'd keep the whole villain act reserved for foals so they can "defeat her" and "save equestria" considering how fond she is of Emerald.
Since she's also a shapshifter, someone- likely Sunny- could ask what certain ponies looked like when they were still alive.

The vaguest, least spoilery way to put it is 'a deal with a devil' type scenario involving an entity not unlike Discord or Harmony.
Just as long as it's a side story and won't impact anything from the main story. I don't want to feel like I have to read this to understand Diaries. If it's supplemental and optional, I see no problem. If it's canon and contains things that would impact my reading of Diaries, I'll be less than thrilled.

Oh no, this'll be its own completely separate branch of continuity. It might reference the past, but nothing that'll impact content being covered by Diaries. Anything referenced is either already something that's happened, or something outside of my overall plan for Diaries.
It's all about an older Anonymous Flicker (fifteen pony years older, making her twenty-three before she's voluntarily put in stasis), so you might get Ms. Flicker showing the others a photo album, and reminiscing that her sister Emerald had just announced her engagement not too long before things went wrong and she entered the time capsule. That's the sort of fluff stuff you'd expect.
