Recently, it occurred to me that I made an error in terms of consistency. In Season 2, it'll have been two years since Sunset left for the human world (24/30 moons), meaning the Crystal Mirror will open during season 2, not between seasons 3 and 4. To fix this, I've had Sunset depart the day before Nightmare Moon returned.

In the human world, Sunset was there for three years while in Equestria, only two and a half years went by. During the time the Crystal Mirror’s opened, time in both worlds are synchronized.
Out of curiosity given Sunset was Celestia's other student (implying Celestia may have been training her to be a princess like she did with Twilight) and will be in Equestria full time from season 4 onward, will Sunset become a princess at some point?
