I like writing about the worst day of a character's life; it lets us see the mettle inside. (Pronouns: RB/20 )

    Some more thoughts

As regular readers will be unsurprised to hear, I've been thinking about D-Day and World War 2 recently. Two related topics today.

    1. An underappreciated hero

    Some books I love

I haven't produced much content lately. Just not feeling "pony." Been working on some space opera I might post to Royal Road or Amazon or something someday.

In light of my recent lack of content, have some of my favorite books:

Life in Sock's house · 10:05am Mar 10th, 2023

Child: "This is so much homework it's not fair why so much homework!"

Still 1 hour more than it should be

What episode is that clip from?

Silly Ankle Sock. It is an important lesson to learn, though.

A fan video.

This is how, hopefully, small children may learn about consequences and good self-management.

(But they won't)

Such is the plight of parents the world over.

This was probably me in elementary school. I have always been a curious person but only a slightly above average student in terms of study habits.

My coworkers have the same problem. Guess you never grow out of some things.

Ah, children. You spend the first eighteen months trying to get them to walk and talk, and then the next eighteen years trying to get them to sit down and shut up. :derpytongue2:

(Ponies can skip the walking because they're already quadrupeds)

Child: This is so much homework, it's unfair!

Syl: *Laughs and cries in adult*

Stop eavesdropping on my childhood! And my college years. And... um... Well, everything up until this week, actually.

(This explains my kids a lot, I suppose)

Amazing how this switch is when you enter the business world where your manager is constantly saying go faster go faster more shortcuts and you tell them if you let me be careful this will get done sooner

That's the real lesson homework teaches.
