So, I decided to refresh my mediocre photoshop skills by making some pony flags. Below are two possible versions of an Equestrian triangular war pennant. The latter design is a bit more generous in representing Celestia.
EDIT: Oh blast. It seems like having a white flag on a white background makes some things rather invisible.

Equestrian Pennant v.2
Why six stars in the night part? I have no idea. Probably to represent the six Elements of Harmony or something.
And here's the national flag of the primary antagonists of an upcoming project...

Thanks. Here's some more!
Griffon War Pennant – the four red slashes represent bloody wounds from a griffon's four-taloned hand.

Equestrian Waving Pennant – I had some fun playing with photoshop's distortion effects.

Interesting.
Is it just me, or does the Iburrian flag remind me of Mongol horse archers? It's probably just me.
Here's another flag (still a work in progress), done for author Rainbow Sparkle. I can't remember what nation it's supposed to represent, but it is pony related.

Yep, it's just you. Was it the arrows that gave you that impression? In any case, the Mongols primarily didn't use what we would think of flags, but instead long spears or tridents topped with a circle of horse or yak tails.
The Iburrian flag as I've designed it is inspired by Imperial Spain. The red knotted saltire on white is the Cross of Burgundy, typically used by the Spaniards in the colonies and as a battle flag, and the yoke and arrows dates back to Ferdinand and Isabella, but was later co-opted by Franco. I think the two designs go well together, plus it reflects the flavor of this OC nation.
