i was kinda inspired by ‘New Beginnings’ and its sequels in a sense that I liked the stories for a bit, but knew they were... kinda not the greatest in terms of raw quality.

if I can not be lazy and find the link, then I’ll link it here.

plus i was a wee bit off put when Blank Page and Sunset started dating randomly given Blank going on about how weird it would be to date somebody else while basically being engaged to Luna.

so eventually I figured, I could probably take my own take on the concept, and so far, I’m loving the story as it’s come along.

also gonna add onto my response since I might as well explain where I got Fruit Punch’s character from.

So like, obviously Fruit Punch is... a bit of a Bo Burnham fan, which kinda derives myself loving Bo’s comedy specials. I also decided to give Fruit ADHD because I had it, plus it would kinda help with how bizarre Fruit’s thought processes can be; it’s literally just an unmedicated case of ADHD.

I also wanted him to be a bad comedian, since I wanted the main focus of humor to be what happens because of what Fruit does, is doing, or what happens because Fruit is being Fruit.

Also decided to have Fruit usually be referred to as ‘Fruit’ in reference towards a certain Minecraft youtuber that I like to watch here and there.

comedy wise, there’s really not much of a style. it’s a bit of an absurdist humor, with Fruit being able to K.O guards by tripping, and what not. But really it’s just a spur of the moment, like when Fruit chucks a brick at somebody holding a friendship meeting, or how I accidentally set up the ‘humans bad’ joke during the Sombra bit. In other words:

I honestly like the comedy of this story, it makes some sense in a way, but at the same time it's a bit absurd.
