What a way to close out the first week of the new year. My mom tested positive for COVID this morning and is going to be out of work for a week or longer, our nice elderly neighbor caught it yesterday and has regained enough strength today to walk with a walker, and the family of one of mom's friends also tested positive today.
As someone who works in the medical field, I'm naturally all for making for healthy choices and taking every precaution available, but I know better than to think I have any right to tell anyone what to do, especially since my mom works in an even higher risk environment than I do and she finally tested positive after nearly three years and pretty much needing to get boosters as soon as they become available. So all I'm gonna say is, however you've been handling things, whatever you do, please be careful out there and stay safe.
