First and foremost, I hope that Trixie's refusal to use pronouns wasn't too annoying. When pre-reading, Admiral Biscuit suggested changing some to 'the unicorn' and 'the magician' but he was also uncertain if that would actually help. In the end, I decided that it wouldn't alleviate the situation enough to make it worthwhile.
But that's also why this story is short. Regardless, it probably overstays its welcome, but that's what the back button on the browser is for.
No offense to Trixie, but third person is really, really annoying.

As many of you already know, I don't have a cellphone. That said, I write in Microsoft Word, so I'm used to auto-correct fighting with me on things like 'everypony' and 'Canterlot'. Thankfully, it's finally stopped automatically capitilizing pegasus on me.

As for why I've chosen Verizon to be the subject of Trixie's wrath, it's mostly because I had a photo on file of a Ford Torino taken in front of a Verizon store years ago. Not having to go take a photo for cover art won out in the end. It also seems that Verizon's about as popular a phone company as Comcast is a cable company (which is to say 'not at all' for either of them), so I suspect no one will be too broken up by this. I'm sure AT&T, T-Mobile, and the rest are just as bad.
Also, no classic cars were harmed in the making of this fic. The Torino survived the story intact. Someone must've wisely moved the car while she was in the store.

Looking at the above image, it's obvious that Trixie has just finished reading this story and doesn't know how to feel. Cozy's just angry she's not in this fic.
Because I'm not a heavy blogger, I want to mention that the next chapter of 16 (Sweetie Swirl Part 2) is currently out for pre-reading right now. I've heard back from one of my pre-readers and edits have been made accordingly.
A new not-a-contest? You know this is in my wheelhouse.
I would argue that Minty And The Magic Genie Lamp already fits the scope of this not-a-contest, but as it was written before this was announced (and is also in the original not-a-contest group), I'm not sure it counts.
