First batch of updated M-rated C&C chapters released... · 5:50pm Nov 14th, 2022

And you’ll get the next M-rated chapter upgrade on Tuesday, which will be chapter 22: Know Thy Ally. There was a slight change in plans as I elected to include chapter 14: Feathered Heart with yesterday’s initial batch, as I decided it wasn’t fair to make folks wait for the full 5,000 words of Marco’s and Gilda’s first time. Not with the ending of chapter 13 leading right into it.

I took pains to rewire the story to group the adult chapters and their original T-rated variants together and separate them. So what you see now is that the R-rated/M-rated chapters 10-14 are followed by the T-rated ones, with the links at the bottom of chapter 9 pointing to the next T-rated/R-rated chapter in line so readers can choose which story track they prefer. The same was done for M-rated chapter 14, which has a link at the bottom pointing to chapter 15 since the next chapter in story order is T-rated chapter 10.

It’s a little clumsy and not ideal, to be honest, but it’s the best I can do to keep both the T-rated and M-rated story tracks available to readers. Come to think of it, I’d better update the introductory blog soon, too.

I can tell I’m going to need to tweak some of the later chapters to accommodate the new content, but I’ll take care of that over the next few days and the changes are generally minor enough to not require special releases. You’ll get one final batch of updated R-to-M-rated chapters on Thursday and Friday with updates to Parts 23-25. After that, with the story upgrades complete, I’ll be working on Eros for a bit though I may sneak some work in on the next main story chapter as well.

Once that’s done, I’ll shift over to Unleash the Magic again and work on it for the rest of the year though I may try to have another C&C chapter ready for Xmas. We’ll have to see, but considering the massive amount of work I’ve put on C&C the past couple weeks, I’ll probably need to step away from it for a bit.
