It's been a while. Life's been going alright. It's been pretty hectic as life is. I figured I owe it to all of you on how my stories are going, and what I've been up to.
Bad news first. Kinda fell into a bit of a depression in February. While I'm mostly out of it now, some stuff still lingers. With the stress of college, work, and some family stuff. I wasn't even able to do stuff I needed to do, let alone the stuff I wanted to do.
The news I'm happy to bring: I'm not dead, and neither is a broken warrior. I've actually spent much of my downtime trying to rewrite the first two chapters (which are ass, I know), as well ass re-planning how I want the story to end. I've got my motivation back to finish at least the chapters I'm working on.
Speaking off, I'm currently working on three. The newest one, and a rewrite of the first two chapters. I'm rewriting them in a way where it won't affect the following chapters, keeps my characters the same, and isn't as shit to read lol.
Something that I also want to share that's unrelated but I'm proud of: I got a scholarship for my college. I can hopefully put more time into the stories and share my stories with all of you.
I really mean it. Thank you guys for sticking with me this long. I started "A broken warrior" at the end of highschool. Now I'm halfway through college. While I am bad with chatting in interacting with you all, you all mean more to me than you think. I'm grateful you guys stuck with me so long. Here's to more good times together.
Good to hear, glad you're intending on coming back.
Something I've learned tho, is re-writing chapters before a story is finished tends to go to feelings of inadequacy like nothing is ever perfect and eventually leads to a dead story. This is true like 95% of the time.
Probably best to finish the story first, then re-write it. At least if you do that you can add in some foreshadowing and you have a better idea of what you want to re-write.
This is just my two cents, but I feel it's worth sharing.
Looking forward to some more of your story tho, regardless of what you decide.

Thanks for your take. I should've been more specific on what I meant by rewrite. The general story and plot for the chapters will stay the same, just written better, and hopefully wont feel as rushed. You are right though. I wouldn't completely rewrite my fanfic without finishing it first.
