Diamond Tiara was on her computer talking with Silver Spoon over a small white chat box. "So see you tomorrow sorry but I have thing my parents are dragging me to," said Silver spoon. Diamond Tiara glanced at her clock reading 8:30 P.M. as she scrolled through her small contacts which consisted of her father, Silver Spoon, and Sweetie Belle. She could never understand why she added her as a contact, maybe because she is the only other filly with a computer, her screen name is Sweetie Belle she thought who in would honestly uses the real name as a screen name. She clicked on her file said online she opened up a chat box. "Hay Sweetie Belle how's it going?" she typed.
"Oh it's great I just reached level 30 on my warrior on world of ponycraft," the chat box read.
"What is this world of ponycraft?" typed Diamond Tiara.
"Oh you don't know what world of ponycraft is well it's this RPG online game here's a link to the site have fun," said the chat box. "Alright let's see what all this is about," said Diamond Tiara silently. she typed in her username which was Diamond heart. She downloaded the game, and was greeted by a earth pony saying "welcome to world of ponycraft choose your class, the sorcerer can use magic and heal teamates with it's magic, the warrior is a fighter class and can buy more powerful weapons like swords or spears, a priest is the weakest of all in combat but makes up for in the massive amount of heath he/she can heal, now choose your class," said the computer voice.
"Alright let's see I'll pick the warrior class," said Diamond Tiara.
"Alright now that you've picked your class now make your pony," said the CPU voice. She only had a handful of choices a leather tunic and pants, a sorcerer robe and a priest robe. "Okay then I guess leather tunic and pants," she said silently as the game loaded. She heard a knock on the door as the game started running she shut her computer off as quickly as she could. The door opened loudly Diamond Tiara squeaked as a stallion walked through the door "Diamond honey what are you doing?" asked the stallion. "Wh...wh...what do you mean daddy?" asked stuttering a little Diamond Tiara glancing her computer.
"I mean what are you doing still up way past your bedtime," the stallion added pointing his hoof at the clock reading 10:40 P.M. "Oh I see," Diamond laughed nervously.
"Well, I happen to know you have school tomarrow so get to bed right away," demanded the stallion walking out the door. Dimond Tiara breathed out sharply when her door opened again. "Yes daddy," nodded Diamond Tiara.
"I just want you to know that you're going to be home alone, so you can go to your friends house after class, or bring her her here alright," asked the stallion.
"Okay," said Diamond Tiara.
The next day she was nuddged awake by her father pushing her lightly "huh why did you push me daddy?" asked Dimond Tiara. "Oh sweetie sorry but because it's almost time for school," Diamond jumped out of bed and quickly made her way down stairs. She ran out the door and went to school quickly she found a note at Silver Spoon's door saying. "Dear Diamond Tiara I'm sorry but I'm out of town for the next three days I say again I'm sorry," Dimond sighed.
"Okay then," Diamond Tiara made her way to class and saw only Sweetie Belle who glanced over at Diamond Tiara looked back for only a second. Sweetie Belle started walking over to her. "So what do you think of world of ponycraft Diamond Tiara?" asked Sweetie Belle smiling.
"Whatever, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I've only made my pony that's it," said Diamond trying to sound everyday, but she actually had a little bit of glee in her voice.
"Well that's okay hay since we both played the game would you like to come over to my sister's house for a little bit?" asked Sweetie Belle. " Um, I don't know, well I guess so I mean daddy isn't going to be home and Silver Spoon is gone for now well wait where are your friends?" asked Diamond Tiara raising her eyebrow.
"Well Applebloom is home sick, and Scootaloo is in the hospital for a few broken bones," said Sweetie Belle sounding so calm.
During class Diamond fell asleep, soon after she was tapped awake by her teacher repeating "Diamond Tiara," over and over until Diamond woke up. "Huh, oh sorry just up late," Diamond said hearing fillies and colts laughing at her silently "Oh it's no problem," said the teacher. After class the students were out of each desk except for Diamond who was just staying there for a minute she was called over by the teacher. "Yes miss Cheerilee something wrong?" asked Diamond Tiara. "Oh no just let me ask you a question please," said the teacher.
"Oh okay then" said Diamond Tiara sitting down in a chair in front of the teacher
"Okay, about that you were up late how late was that?" asked the teacher.
"Well, 9:00 is my bedtime, so I was up about one hour and thirty minutes plus another thirty minutes" said Diamond Tiara.
"And what were you doing that night?" asked the teacher.
"I was chating on Ponyface with my friend when she left I then was dragged into chating with Sweetie Belle who gave me a link to an online game and I started an account and let it download," said Diamond Tiara honestly looking into the teacher's eyes.
"Okay I see that is all I need to know you may go," said the teacher.
As the earth filly walked by the bouquet she remembered she said she would come to her house she rushed back home swiped her laptop and walked into the bouquet. "Welcome to the bouquet what may I..... oh can I help you?" asked Rarity looking at Diamond Tiara. "Oh there you are come on up," said Sweetie Belle yelling down stairs
"Oh, I didn't know you two were friends, she always called you a demon," said Rarity.
"She did?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"All the time," said Rarity pushing up Diamond Tiara.
"Hay Sweetie Belle, so I've got my computer do you have yours?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Yes I do see," Sweetie Belle pulled out a small white laptop from her saddle bag and placed it on the floor. "Diamond Tiara what's your screen name here?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"It's Diamond heart" said Diamond Tiara staring at her screen intently.
"Oh okay," said Sweetie Belle "ah there you are" she said walking close to Diamond Tiara's pony.
"Hay get away you can't be that popular I don't want that to rub off on my pony," said Diamond Tiara.
"No, you don't get it I'm level 30 I'm a great warrior, it would be good for you to be close to me, people would want to join you on epic quests and stuff, so it would be wise to let me follow you," said Sweetie Belle bringing up a good point.
"Fine, but don't get the wrong idea we aren't good friends in fact we are just some ponies playing this game together got it?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"How do I run?" asked Diamond Tiara facing Sweetie Belle's warrior.
"Oh that's easy you hold shift and move the way you want to," Sweetie Belle said joyfully.
"Thanks, that's gonna help a lot," said Diamond Tiara. Diamond walked around a computer server with over a thousand instantly she was approched by a villager asking for help. " Help, help I need help my friend went inside the graveyard and m...m...my friend hasn't come out yet," stettered the stallion pleading.
"Okay these quests you have to go for quick or else the pony you want to save will die," Diamond clicked on the yes button.
She rushed with Sweetie Belle to the graveyard where they were swarmed with zombie ponies. Diamond Tiara gave a high pitched sqeek as she pulled out her weak sword, but Sweetie Belle drew out a long iron sword that looked as if it was made to fight zombie ponies. Sweetie Belle defended Diamond Tiara with her iron sword and turned around for only a minute to hand Diamond Tiara an iron sword too.
As Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle cleared the mission, they heard each of their names called by Rarity.
"Come on don't you want to eat Diamond Tiara?" before Diamond spoke her stomach growled loudly as her face grew reder she nodded "I could eat," she ran down stairs with Sweetie Belle.
"I am starving I have not eaten all day, I had to rush to school and never had time to pack a lunch" said Diamond
"Oh well this isn't too fancy but dig in," said Rarity.
"Thank you Rarity," said Diamond Tiara.
"Oh my pleasure," said the dress maker. After dinner Diamond Tiara helped with the dishes Sweetie belle was up stairs waiting for Diamond Tiara to finish. "Hay Rarity could I ask you a question?" asked Diamond Taria drying the dishes.
"About what dear?" asked Rarity handing Diamond a dish to dry.
"Well you see I have a friend who secretly likes something that she expects her friend doesn't like, she refuses to tell her. But it is just eating her up inside to keep a secret from somepony that she spends everyday with" Diamond Tiara said grinning. Rarity put her hoof to her mouth and giggled "I know that trick too you know so what is really going on?" asked Rarity lifting Diamond's head to see her eyes. "Fine you see I've just started playing the online video game and you see we always make fun of dorks but now I feel I'm becomeing a dork, because I'm enjoying playing with Sweetie Belle what should I do?" Diamond asked drooping her head to the black and white tiled floor.
"Now dear, you shouldn't make fun of other ponies looks or likes so I say you just tell your friend and she will accept it I promise," said Rarity patting her back.
Diamond walked up to Sweetie Belle's bedroom. "Hay finally take a seat let's keep playing," said Sweetie Belle climbing on her bed. "Um actually my daddy's gonna get home soon so I'd better get home but since Silver Spoon is gone, and I'm sure daddy is okay with it I could come over again tomorrow," said Diamond Tiara.
Diamond Tiara walked home seeing her father sitting down on a chair "Diamond honey where have you been?" asked her father. "I was with Sweetie Belle at her house," said Diamond Tiara.
"Oh, well you might want to get ready for bed," said Diamond's father.
"Okay good night daddy," she said walking up stairs. She sat in her bedroom thinking what to say in two days when Silver Spoon came back.
chapter 3 great time, even with a blank flank, And bad crime rate
Diamond Tiara sighed as she woke up from her sleep. She walked into the bathroom to brush her mane when she was stopped by her father "Diamond honey I have to go around equestria to make sure my business is running smoothly," Filthy Rich informed.
"Okay daddy, I'll see you when you get home," smiled Diamond Tiara waving to her father walking out the door. Diamond Tiara walked into the kitchen when a teenage stallion tossed her a cupcake with his wing. "Hay Diamond Tiara how's it going," asked the teenage stallion.
"Oh, Eon what are you doing here?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Well your father felt bad he had to leave you alone every day so he hired me to foalsit you," explained Eon.
"Oh, well huh," Diamond Tiara grabbed the cupcake Eon gave her.
"Well I'm going to go to an acquaintance of mine," smiled Diamond Tiara.
"Well, I'm being paid to watch you so I need to come with you, sorry but you'll hardly know I'm there," added Eon smiling warmly. Diamond sighed "fine you can come," Diamond Tiara rolled her eyes. Diamond grabbed her laptop from her desk to bring to Sweetie belle's house.
Diamond Tiara walked to the door Eon knocked on the door with his dark blue hoof. The door opened quickly with the white coated purple maned mare. "Yes who is it?" said Rarity peeking through the crack of the door.
"It's me Diamond Tiara I was wondering if Sweetie Belle was home?" wondered Diamond Tiara.
"Oh yes she is upstairs come in," informed Rarity staring into the white teen's blue eyes puzzled.
"Oh this is Eon he is my well...friend I guess" added Diamond.
"Oh, well like I said she is upstairs," Rarity smiled.
"Well I'll just look around the bouquet Diamond," admitted Eon using his hoof like a brush to brush his blonde mane.
"Alright," Diamond announced.
Diamond Tiara knocked on Sweetie Belle's door, Sweetie Belle perked up "Hey Diamond!" cracked Sweetie Belle.
"Hey blank flank," teased Diamond Tiara, trying to hide any emotions she might think she has.
"Are you ready to play World Of PonyCraft?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"Sure I am," responded Diamond Tiara.
"Great let's get started!" yelled Sweetie Belle voice cracking a little bit.
"Okay, where were we?" thought Diamond Tiara.
"Oh, we were looking for a new quest," responded Sweetie Belle. Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle started walking around the computer generated world. "Okay over there is the market that is where I got my sword, over there is the tavern that is where you can meet other ponies or find new quests, and here is my house I've saved up for," she said pointing her hoof at a higher end looking house. "Nice house," admitted Diamond Tiara.
"I know I spent months collecting the gold to buy the house," added Sweetie Belle.
The two adults downstairs were talking. "So how do you know Diamond Tiara?" questioned Rarity.
"Oh, well I'm foalsitting her for the next two days her father felt bad he had to leave her home alone," smiled Eon.
"Well what about her mother?" asked Rarity.
"Unknown," answer Eon.
"Sister or friend?" asked Rarity.
"Well, Diamond is an only child, and her only friend is out for now," answered Eon.
"Oh, okay then," replied Rarity. The adults sat down at Rarity's sofa to get comfortable.
"Alright, here is an interesting quest I found Diamond Tiara," Sweetie Belle grabbed the letter.
"Help, my father walked into a trap set by a group of bandits, he's now trapped in one of the camps," the letter said urgently. "Should we go for it?" thought Sweetie Belle.
"We should go for the quest," Diamond responded clicking yes. The fillies wondered around the fake world until they found the camp Sweetie Belle pulled out her iron sword and Diamond pulled out her bow and arrows. Diamond was the first to make contact with shooting one arrow to a bandit's head the bandit dropped immediately, Diamond Tiara gave a faint smile as she pulled out the iron sword Sweetie Belle gave her, and she started attacking the enemies. After nine minutes of attacking they found the man they were searching for it was a dark blue earth pony with a gray mane. "Well, that's done," smiled Diamond. "Huh?" Diamond Tiara raised her eyebrow seeing a new quest.
"This is a new kind of quest Diamond Tiara, it's called an escort mission, it's a mission where you fight an impossible amount of enemies to save the pony your escorting," explained Sweetie Belle.
"Oh, okay," sighed Diamond Tiara.
After she finished the escort she heard Eon call his name. "Diamond Tiara it's time to go!" yelled Eon.
"Oh, well goodbye Sweetie Belle!" exclaimed Diamond Tiara running downstairs almost forgetting her laptop.
"Do you have everything Diamond?" asked the white Pegasus with a blonde mane and a cutie mark of music.
"I have everything Eon," smiled Diamond.
"Good, well I'll be foalsitting you tomorrow to sorry," added Eon. The teen walked the filly to her house and said goodnight and went to his house in a block away from her. "I hope Rarity's right and I am accepted by Silver Spoon," Diamond thought lying in her bed.
Diamond heard a noise coming from the living room she was a little scared she never got over her fears of the dark ether. She silently made her way downstairs when she saw a stallion dressed in all black and a gray baseball cap Diamond squeaked as silent as she could. The stallion turned to the staircase seeing a filly the robber toke what he could carry and ran away. Diamond Tiara made her way to the phone to call the cops. "Hello 911 what's your emergency?" asked the operator. "Hello I'm Diamond Tiara I live on Haymaker street the second house on the left from the sign, there has been a break in some pony broke in and stole some things," Diamond Tiara breathed sharply
"Okay the authorities will be right on their way miss," said the operator. Soon enough Diamond started hearing sirens. Diamond saw an authority figure walk up to her. "Excuse me but where is your parents?" asked the police officer.
"My daddy is somewhere around equestria, and my mom is unknown," Diamond answered.
"Oh, so that means can you give a description of the robber?" asked the officer, talking more fragile to the pink earth filly.
"He had a mask on so I couldn't see him sorry," Diamond Tiara apologized.
Just then Eon ran to Diamond Tiara. "Are you alright Diamond Tiara?" wondered Eon looking at the house.
"I'm fine," admitted Diamond Tiara.
"Excuse me sir but how do you know this filly?" asked the officer.
"Well I was foalsitting her for the day," said Eon. The official had a blank look on his face looking confused.
"Well we'll keep an eye out for the stallion," the official said.
The next day Diamond Tiara woke up in the spare bedroom of Eon's house. She walked downstairs.
"Oh, hay Diamond Tiara how was your sleep?" asked Eon taking a sip of coffee.
"Oh it was okay," Diamond Tiara rolled her eyes.
"Look Diamond Tiara..." he paused as he heard the phone ring. "Hello, who is this?" asked Eon.
"This is the P.V.P.D. we would like to see you at the police station immediately,"
"Oh, okay, I'll be there as soon as I drop off Diamond Tiara at her friend's house," informed Eon.
"Very well mister Eon," told the voice on the phone.
"Okay, so Diamond Tiara get your computer, we're going to go to Sweetie Belle's house," Diamond nodded her head as she walked up stairs to her barrowed room. "Ready?" asked Eon.
"Yes I am ready," told Diamond.
"Great let's go," gestured Eon.
He brought Diamond Tiara to Sweetie Belle for what should be the last time. "Are you ready to play with Sweetie Belle?" asked Eon. "Yes of course," Diamond smiled faintly.
"Alright I'll be here to pick you up in a little while or I might stay a while," Eon told her.
"Okay," Diamond responded.
He knocked on the bouquet's door. "Oh, come in," the white mare said.
"Hay Rarity, can Diamond Tiara stay here for a while?" asked Eon.
"Oh, but of course," Rarity smiled.
"Just, Diamond she is up stairs," Rarity told her, she nodded.
"You see I am having an interrogation with the cops, I don't get why," Eon explained.
"Oh, well I'll make sure that Diamond is well taken care of until you come back," she said.
"Yes, thank you I'm grateful I'll be back in a few hours at the least," Eon told Rarity.
Rarity took notes "Okay is there anything I need to know?" asked Rarity.
"Um...no nothing," Eon said.
After a while of chatting, Eon walked off. Upstairs Sweetie Belle was turning on her laptop same as Diamond Tiara.
"Okay so what now?" asked Diamond.
"Um...how about going to the tavern and look for quests?" Sweetie Belle offered.
"Yeah that is perfect," Diamond chuckled.
"Good, that is a perfect quest," Sweetie Belle smiled.
"Which one?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"It reads, a colt and a filly wondered off away from their mother and father into a cave" Sweetie Belle explained.
"Diamond Tiara you leveled up to what seems to be a level 16 warrior?" Sweetie Belle said with a voice crack.
"Oh, that's cool I guess," Diamond rolled her eyes seeing that Sweetie Belle was a 30.
"Oh, come on Diamond Tiara I played this game for a long time, you only played it for only four days that is impressive, that you are level 16 at such a short time of playing," Sweetie Belle encouraged walking to the cave.
"Yeah I guess your right," Diamond Tiara smiled faintly.
"See, you always have something to celebrate about," smiled Sweetie Belle.
Diamond Tiara fought wave after wave of hobbit ponies. “What now Sweetie Belle?" Diamond Tiara wondered.
"Well that is easy we look for the colt and filly," Sweetie Belle grinned.
"Okay I get it you stupid blank flank," Diamond Tiara grinned.
Sweetie Belle ignored the last few words of the sentence and kept grinning. "I'm glad we have one thing in common," Sweetie Belle made an ear to ear grin. "Okay, so I have a small shack right now," Diamond Tiara groaned.
"Oh that's all right I own a few things, but I played for a really long time," Sweetie Belle said.
"What do you own?" asked Diamond.
"Well I own the inn/tavern, the entire market and the blacksmith," Sweetie Belle listed, she could have gone on.
"Oh, you own most of the town!" Diamond blurted out.
"Well I own some of the town not all of the town or even most of the town," Sweetie Belle corrected.
Hours passed and Diamond Tiara heard her name called "Diamond, it's time to go," yelled Eon just walking in the door.
"So how did it go?" asked Rarity.
"Oh, it went alright I am off the hook, and thanks for watching Diamond Tiara for the afternoon," Eon thanked.
"Oh it was my pleasure," Rarity smiled.
"Yeah well, I may see you again sometime," Eon told her.
"Good bye Rarity," he said walking Diamond Tiara out the door.
"Did you get everything?" asked Eon.
"Yes I did see," Diamond opened up her saddle bag, she grabbed her laptop. She dropped it she was shocked with how hot it got. Eon used his wings and grabbed the falling laptop "Be more careful," Eon advised.
"I know Eon," Diamond said with her head drooped down.
Eon brought her to his house as long as the criminal is still out there the cops wouldn't let any-pony in. "So remind me why I am staying with you?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Well as long as the criminal is out there the P.V.P.D won't let any-pony in," Eon explained.
"Ugh, fine," Diamond groaned.
"I know it's not what you are used to but it's a roof over your head," Eon told her.
After awhile he heard a knock on the door. "Huh hello who is it?" pondered Eon cracking the door open.
"It's me Filthy Rich," the stallion said.
"Oh come in," Eon opened his door.
"I tried to go into my home but there was police tape and police officers," Filthy Rich said.
"Yeah, yesterday there was a break in," Eon explained.
"Were you in the house?" asked Rich.
"Not me but I dropped off Diamond Tiara in the house," Eon said sadly.
"What!" Rich yelled.
"Yeah I wasn't with her when you were robbed," Eon said.
"Well, at least she is okay," Rich sighed.
Eon smiled. "Okay I'm going to turn on the TV and see if they found the robber," Eon told Rich.
"This just in, the robber on Haymaker street has been caught he is named Shallow soul," the mare on TV said.
"Yes," Rich said picking up Diamond Tiara.
"Well how about you just stay here for the night let the cops clean up the police tape," Eon said smiling at Diamond.
Diamond woke squinting to the sudden new light. She walked downstairs to see her best friend Silver Spoon sitting next to Eon on the sofa. "Oh, Silver Spoon what are you doing here?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Well I heard what happened so I came here where one of your neighbors said you went," Silver Spoon explained, smiling. "Oh, well that is awesome," Diamond Tiara said slightly disappointed.
"You don't seem too happy to see her," Diamond's father said scratching his head slightly.
"Oh, but I am happy to see her," Diamond quickly reacted.
"Well I'm sure it was so boring without me," Silver Spoon laughed.
"Yeah it really was," Diamond laughed nervously.
"You seem shaky Diamond Tiara is everything alright?" Rich asked,
"Eon do you know anything about this?" asked Rich noticing a smile on Eon's face.
Eon looked at Rich. "Huh, oh, no I don't know what is wrong," lied Eon glancing at Diamond Tiara.
Rich stared at Eon waiting for another response. "What is it I am telling the truth," Eon covered up, he rubbed his blonde mane. "Alright Eon I'll believe you for now," Rich groaned still watching the friend.
"Alright every-pony I made breakfast," Eon said showing his guests to the table.
After the breakfast she knew one thing for sure that she was going to go to school today. She walked to class with Silver Spoon trying to avoid Sweetie Belle she was successful. "Okay so what did I miss?" asked Silver Spoon.
"Well we were learning about cutie marks again," groaned Diamond Tiara as she kept walking.
Silver Spoon nodded "Okay," Silver Spoon said.
Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon walked inside the classroom and sat at the normal seats they sat on. They sighed while in school however Silver Spoon was above average she always got at the least a A+ Diamond never understood that. The bell rang as all the ponies ran out Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon walked out. Diamond Tiara looked in her saddle bag and found she had forgotten her scarf at the bouquet. "Uh oh," Diamond said.
"Is everything alright?" asked Silver Spoon.
"Um, can we or just me make a stop at the Carousel Bouquet?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Huh, why?" asked Silver Spoon.
"Um...I forgot my scarf when daddy forced me to play with that annoying blank flank," Diamond covered up.
"Oh, okay we'll stop there now," Silver Spoon said.
The fillies walked to the doorway. Diamond knocked on the door. The door swung open to the white mare. "Oh, Diamond Tiara what are you doing here?" asked Rarity.
"Um can I speak with you?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Oh, but of course dearie," Rarity said walking her to her inspiration room. "Okay, so what did you want to talk me about?" wondered Rarity. "Well first I think I forgot my scarf somewhere in your bouquet, and second I was wondering if you can help me tell Silver Spoon?" asked Diamond Tiara more or less on her knees.
"Um, how?" asked Rarity.
"I can't think of how I would say it," Diamond Tiara said.
"That is up to you dearie," Rarity told Diamond Tiara.
"Okay fine," Diamond said.
"Oh and here is your scarf," Rarity used her magic to bring it to her.
While on the back to Diamond's house Diamond Tiara stopped Silver Spoon. "Um...Silver Spoon, can I tell you something?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Of course we are best friends in all," Diamond couldn't bring her to say the words.
"While you were gone me and Sweetie Belle were playing a online game together as well...friends I like online games now," Diamond expected to hear a reaction from her best friend.
"Well that is no problem, I might not like online games but if you like them I'll be willing to give it a shot," Silver Spoon grinned. "Really?" asked Diamond Tiara.
"Well yeah," Silver Spoon said. "So what want to go get my laptop and play in your room?" asked Silver Spoon.
"Um no, meet me at the Carousel Bouquet," Diamond smiled.
