The new journey begins with Twilight and her new friends Charming Thunder and Daring Do as they make their way to the temple of a creature called Xenomorphs.
A colt named Charming Thunder has come to Ponyville to find a place to live and asks the mane six for help. Along the way he sees an archeologist named Daring Do who is looking for the same thing that Charming Thunder is looking for: the egg of the Xenomorph. Will they survive the challenges in order to obtain the Xenomorph egg?
(This is the first fic to feature my OC Charming Thunder. If anyone has requests for a crossover story, post a reply on my home page.)
One day on the trail to Ponyville, a red unicorn named Charming Thunder was on his way to Ponyville so that he can find a place to live. His cutie mark was a symbol of three triangles which each represents courage, power, and wisdom. His mane and tail was blonde He was looking at the map while following the trail of dirt to where he wants to go.
"Where am I even going?" Charming Thunder said in a confused tone as he was looking back at his map. Until he accidentally bumped into a pegasus. She was a yellow pegasus with a grayscale mane and tail with a compass as a cutie mark.
"Oh dear. I am so sorry." she said while she was picking up her stuff. Charming Thunder also helped pick up her stuff until he found something. He encountered a map which showed all of Equestria including Ponyville and Canterlot. He picked it up and looked at the temple that was also on the map. It had statues of a creature that he heard of before.
Charming Thunder then gave the map to the yellow pegasus and asked, "You are looking for that temple?"
"Yeah. Why do you ask?" the yellow pegasus replied.
"I was also looking for that place too," Charming Thunder said cheerfully "It looks like we have much in common. Where were you heading'?"
"To Ponyville" the yellow pegasus replied "I heard that there is a library so that I can do more research on this temple."
Charming Thunder was looking at his map and looked to the yellow Pegasus and asked, "Would you like to come along? I am also going there as well because I am moving from Canterlot to find a place to live."
"Sure," she said. "My name is Daring Do by the way. What's yours?"
"Charming Thunder," he said as they both started to continue walking. "Nice to meet you."

Charming Thunder and Daring Do were telling stories of their adventures along the way to Ponyville. Once Charming Thunder got to know Daring Do more, they have finally arrived at Ponyville. They were both amazed with the sight they are seeing. Lots of unicorns, earth ponies, and pegasuses. Some of the houses almost looked the same except for a building called Sugarcube Corner.
"Do you think that we should these ponies for directions?" Charming Thunder asked.
"I think so," Daring Do said. "Maybe we should start with that house over there." She pointed to a house that looks like some ordinary tree with windows and a wooden door.
"Great idea." Charming Thunder replied. They both then started to walk to that house to see if they can ask the pony who lives there for directions on how to get to the library.
When they got to the front door, Charming Thunder knocked on the door to make sure if anyone is home. The door was then answered by a purple pony who was also a unicorn similar to Charming Thunder. Her mane and tail had two colors purple and pink on it.
"Can I help you?" the unicorn said until she looked at Daring Do. "Wait a sec. Aren't you DARING DO?!"
"Why yes I am," Daring Do replied. "Why? Have you heard of me?"
"Heard of you?" the unicorn replied. "There were books written about you. Rainbow Dash is a big fan of yours when she first read these books."
"I have been reading those books when I was at Canterlot." Charming Thunder said while looking at Daring Do. "They were both awesome stories."
"Wait," the unicorn said in a confusion. "You're from Canterlot?"
"As a matter of fact, I am." Charming Thunder replied.
The unicorn then said excitedly, "I am from Canterlot, too. My name is Twilight Sparkle. Its nice to meet you. Please come in there is so much that I need to ask you. What's yours?"
"Charming Thunder." he replied.
Charming Thunder and Daring Do then stepped in the house and took a sight on a place that they were both looking for. The bookshelves were all organized in alphabetical order. They then saw a small dragon carrying books as he continued to organize the shelves. He was a kind and helpful purple scaled dragon with green spikes starting from his head to the tail.
"So," Twilight said. "What brings you here to Ponyville?"
"We are both looking for a temple," Charming Thunder said when Daring Do was laying the map on a closest table.
"Hmm," Twilight said while she was looking at the map. "I have never seen statues looking like that before. What is it?"
"The Temple of the Xenomorphs." Charming Thunder replied like that he knows something.
Chapter 2: A Letter from Princess Celestia and Making Preparations
"Can I see a creature book to show you?" Charming Thunder asked Twilight while he was rolling up the map and giving it back to Daring Do. "So that I can show you what it looks like."
"Sure." Twilight replied. She then used her magic to levitate a book about historical creatures. Charming Thunder was flipping pages to find the creature Twilight was curious about. When he found the page, there was an anatomy of the Xenomorph. It had no eyes on his face but a mouth like a moray eel which has a tongue with a mouth on it. On its back were some spines and it has a tail which is used as its weapon because of the sharp point that looked like a scorpions tail. Charming Thunder then pointed to an article which stated "Beware of its acid blood."
Charming Thunder then closed the book, when suddenly the dragon entered the room with a note in his hand and said while he was catching his breath, "Twilight, I have a message from Princess Celestia!" Twilight then levitated the letter and read it out loud:
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
I have sent you this letter to inform you that your brother Shining Armor and Princess Cadence is coming to visit Ponyville. I am sure that you and your friends will make preparations for their arrival tomorrow morning. Especially for my nephew Charming Thunder. I hope you have a fun time with your brother and foalsitter.
Your mentor, Princess Celestia
Twilight rolled up the letter and then smiled that she is excited to see her BBBFF. "Oh," Twilight said happily while hoping around everyone in the room. "I can't wait to see my brother again."
"Wait a minute," Charming Thunder said to make sure of something. "You mean the Cadence as in the Princess of love?"
"Yeah. Why?" Twilight asked.
"Princess Cadence is actually my sister." Charming Thunder replied. "Guess that means you must be..." Charming Thunder took a pause for a minute and said with a smile, "...my sister in law."
"Really!?" Twilight said excitedly. "Then you can help me with the preparations of your sister and my brother's arrival. Cadence will be so happy to see you."
"Yeah. Maybe you can introduce me to your friends and-" Charming Thunder stopped when he heard a pony's voice which was coming from outside of Twilight's window.
"Look out below!!" the pegasus said as she was flying too fast and crashed into the table. She was a light blue pony with a rainbow colored mane and tail. The book was flying in the air and Charming Thunder used his magic to grab it. "Sorry about that. I was trying out a new flying trick. Oh. Hey, Twilight. Who's you're new friends here?"
"Rainbow Dash, this is Charming Thunder and---" Twilight was then cut off when Rainbow Dash was looking at Daring Do.
"Is that Daring Do? IT IS YOU!" Rainbow Dash said excitedly.
"I have heard of you," Daring Do said. "You are one of my fans who are reading books about my adventures."
"Heck yeah." Rainbow yelled. "So what is going on here?"
"Twilight's brother and Cadence are coming to Ponyville. And it is our job to help her prepare for their arrival tomorrow morning?"
"That's great news," Rainbow Dash said. "I'll tell the others and--." Rainbow Dash was cut off when Charming Thunder was going to ask her to meet her friends.
"Do you mind if I help, Rainbow Dash? I always wanted to meet your friends."
"Sure." Rainbow Dash replied. Before they left, Charming Thunder asked Twilight if she can borrow the book he was using for research on the Xenomorph. And their first stop was Pinkie Pie's house.

Rainbow Dash was getting along with Charming Thunder along the way to the Sugarcube Corner. "So let me get this straight," Rainbow asked Charming Thunder. "You came here from Canterlot to Ponyville because you are moving here?"
Charming Thunder and Rainbow Dash stopped at the front door of the Sugarcube Corner and Charming Thunder answered, "Yes I am."
"Then why is Daring Do with you?"
"We were both searching for a place called the temple of the Xenomorph."
"Xenomorph? I have never heard of a creature named like that before. What does it look like?"
Charming Thunder then took out the book he was borrowing and opened it to the page he bookmarked and pointed out the picture of the Xenomorph.
"That creature looks AWESOME!!" Rainbow Dash said while she was looking at the picture.
Charming Thunder then closed the book and puts it away in his saddle bag. They both then entered the Sugarcube Corner which was a bakery selling cupcakes. They then saw a pink puffy maned pony surprising them with excitement. 'Where did she come from.' Charming Thunder thought to himself as he was amazed that Rainbow Dash knows her as well.
"Charming Thunder," Rainbow said. "This is Pinkie Pie."
"Welcome to Ponyville, Charming Thunder," Pinkie Pie said. "Should we throw a party to celebrate your welcome?"
"That is not why we are here," Charming Thunder replied in a nice tone. "But some other time. I promise."
"Pinkie promise?"
"Uh...yes." Charming Thunder said in a confusion. "Was I suppose to say something, Rainbow?"
"You have to say cross my heart, and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Rainbow Dash said as she explained what it is.
"Oh right. Thanks." Charming Thunder then said the punch line that Rainbow Dash helped him with. "Cross my heart, and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."
"OK." Pinkie Pie said happily. "So why are you really here?"
"Princess Cadence and Shining Armor are coming to town and I need you to help Twilight with the preparations for their arrival tomorrow morning." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Oh that sounds exciting we should throw them a party when they arrive."
"OK," Charming Thunder levitated a list that Twilight made out of his saddle bag and gave it to Pinkie Pie. "here is the list of things Twilight wants you to do tomorrow morning."
"Ookie Dokie." Pinkie Pie then bounced outside carrying a list of what she needs.
"OK, Pinkie Pie. Check. Only three more to go." Charming Thunder said as Rainbow dash and him exited the building.
Rainbow Dash and Charming Thunder journeyed through the Everfree Forest because at the edge of the forest is Fluttershy's Cottage. Along the way, Rainbow Dash asked Charming Thunder, "Why are you and Daring Do looking for that temple anyways?"
Charming Thunder looked at at Rainbow Dash as they were walking through the forest and said, "It's because we are looking for the egg of the Xenomorph. It is the first stage of growing into a reptilian like creature."
"Oh. I see. But but what does it look like in its first stage?"
"That is what you are about to find out if you want to come with me on this journey. And maybe I can also ask your friends including my sister Cadence and Shining Armor."
Rainbow Dash was happy that Charming Thunder was going to ask her that. She always wanted to go on an adventure with Daring Do. "I would like to," she said excitedly. "just let me ask my friends as you ask Shining Armor and Cadence."
"Sounds like a plan."
Once the conversation was over, they arrived at Fluttershy's Cottage. It was a beautiful place to visit especially for Charming Thunder. The cottage's roof is covered in grass and is filled with runways, holes and perches for animals including squirrels, birds, rabbits, and so much more. When they approached the front door, Rainbow Dash knocked on the door and Fluttershy answered the door. She was a yellow pegasus with butterflies as her cutie mark. "Oh. Hello, Rainbow Dash. What brings you here and who's your friend?" she asked curiously.
"This is Charming Thunder, Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash replied.
"Oh. It's nice to meet you, Charming Thunder."
"The pleasure is mine, Fluttershy." Charming Thunder said.
Fluttershy giggles for a second while he was taking out a list for her and said after he gave it to her, "Here is a list Twilight made you for preparations for the arrival of Shining Armor and my sister Cadence. They are going to arrive tomorrow morning so be prepared."
"Goodness," Fluttershy replied. "What an honor. I'll be there when I get the preparations ready."
"OK," Rainbow Dash said. "We'll see you tomorrow."
"Two down, two to go," Charming Thunder said.
"Now its time for Rarity's Carousel Boutique."

Rarity's boutique is both a home and a shop to buy dresses. When they entered the building, Charming Thunder saw the room which is stocked with materials and supplies such as mirrors, dress form mannequins, and movable screens. There they saw Rarity a white unicorn just like Charming Thunder. Her purple mane and tail are both curled and her cutie mark has three diamonds. She then noticed Charming Thunder and Rainbow Dash then walked towards them. "Oh. Good day, my dear Rainbow Dash. Who's you're friend?"
"I am Charming Thunder." Charming Thunder replied. "I came from Canterlot."
"CANTERLOT!!" Rarity said. "I have always dreamed of living at Canterlot. Except for the time at the Grand Galloping Gala and the Canterlot Wedding. What brings you here to Ponyville?"
"I am about to move here. I just need to find a place to live in Ponyville?" Charming Thunder replied.
"Well if you want a place to live then why don't you ask either me or my friends. I have a sister who is living with me right now. Would you like to meet her?"
"I would love to."Charming Thunder replied.
"Sweetie Belle," she shouted. "There is somepony here who wants to meet you."
Sweetie Belle was a white unicorn with a purple and pink mane and tail. She has no cutie mark however. "Who is he, Rarity?" Sweetie Belle asked her sister.
"That Sweetie Belle is Charming Thunder. Would you like to talk to him so that you can get to know him more?"
"Sure. I always like to meet somepony new."
Charming Thunder and Sweetie both walked upstairs while Rainbow Dash explains to Rarity about Cadence and Shining Armor coming to Ponyville.
Sweetie Belle told Charming Thunder that she was the member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders be she and her friends Applebloom and Scootaloo have been trying to find out what their talents are. Sweetie Belle looked down to the floor with a frown on her face and said, "I am just worried that we might not even find a talent."
Charming Thunder puts his hoof under her chin and said to Sweetie Belle, "I know it is hard. Believe me. It wasn't hard for me to find out what my talent was when I was your age."
A shout came from downstairs which was meant for Charming Thunder which was coming from Rainbow and said, "Hey, Charming Thunder. Lets go to Applejack's place. Come on we need to hurry."
Charming Thunder was about to exit Sweetie's room but before he did, he stopped at the door and said, "You know what. I think that you are a nice filly. Maybe if I made a decision on where to live, it might be with you and your sister."
"Really?" Sweetie Belle said in excitement.
Charming Thunder turned to her and said, "Yeah. I promise you that I can help you and your friends find your talents. After all, you were a nice filly to meet. I'll see you later." Charming Thunder exited Sweetie's room and went downstairs to exit the boutique. Their last stop was now Sweet Apple Acres.

Shining Armor and Princess Cadence were in the train on their way to Ponyville. Shining Armor was a blue maned unicorn with a shield with a star behind it as his cutie mark. As Cadence was a purple, pink, and blonde maned alicorn, or princess, with a blue heart shaped jewel as her cutie mark. Shining turned to her wife and asked, "You excited to see Twilight and her friends again?"
"Why, yes." Cadence said happily as she sat close to him. "After all did you read the letter from Celestia? She said that my brother has moved there."
"You mean Charming Thunder?" he asked. "'cause I have known him before the wedding. But I don't know why he didn't show up to the wedding."
"He said he had other things to do," Cadence replied. "And now after the Crystal Empire was restored by Twilight and her friends, we are now at peace."
They both looked out the window happily at their side of their train car and saw the lovely town of Ponyville.

The sun was setting when Rainbow Dash and Charming Thunder arrived at Sweet Apple Acres which is a most prominent farm in Ponyville. On the right side of the red barn, there was a chicken coop and on the left side there were lots and lots of apple trees with some fresh apples. "Howdy, Rainbow Dash." Applejack approached both Rainbow Dash and Charming Thunder. She had white freckles on her cheeks and wears a cowgirl hat. She had a blonde mane and tail just like Charming Thunder. And for her cutie mark had three apples on it. "Who is he, sugar cube."
"I'm Charming Thunder. I just moved here from Canterlot."
Applejack then grabbed his hoof and shook it really fast when she said, "Nice to meet ya, Charming Thunder. I am Applejack." Applejack then lets go of his hoof and asked, "What brings you here?"
Charming Thunder levitated a list for Applejack while Rainbow Dash said, "We have come to inform you that Shining Armor and Princess Cadence are coming to visit us here in Ponyville. This list here is the things you need to have to be prepared for their arrival tomorrow morning."
"Why it's an honor to see those two again. Well I'll see you tomorrow. You know how tired I can get from bucking some trees. Its nice to meet you, Charming Thunder."
"Nice meeting you too, Applejack," Charming Thunder said.
On the next day, Twilight and her friends were waiting at the train station while Charming Thunder was with Daring Do asking her that if his new friends including Shining Armor and his sister Cadence to come along on the journey. Daring Do agreed with him and began discussing what they have to go through during the quest. Rarity was wearing a dress she made and wore at the Grand Galloping Gala. Pinkie was bouncing with joy and said, "They're here. They're here." The train was coming up to the station. Once it came to a complete stop, the door of train car opened and inside that car was both Princess Cadence and Shining Armor.
"Twily!" Shining Armor said happily as he gave his sister a big hug.
"I missed you, BBBFF." Twilight said. She then saw Cadence. She then ran towards her and said together, "Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake." They both laughed when they both finished.
"I heard that my brother Charming Thunder is here. Is that true?" Cadence asked.
"Yes," Twilight replied. "he is back at my house with his friend Daring Do."
"Can we see him? We haven't seen him in a long time." Shining Armor asked.
"Sure. My house is not that far." Twilight, her friends, Shining Armor, and Princess Cadence were now making their way to Twilight's house as she was giving them a tour along the way.

"So let me get this straight," Charming Thunder said while him and Daring Do was looking at the map upstairs. "We have to start our journey by crossing the Everfree Forest till we reach the temple? That won't be that hard." Charming Thunder used his magic to roll up the map and put the map in his saddle bag.
He then heard voice coming from downstairs saying, " Charming Thunder, Shining Armor and your sister are here." Charming Thunder then exited the room along with Daring Do.
"Cadence?" Charming Thunder said. "Whats going on here, Twilight. You said that she is here."
"She is." Her and the group both moved out of the way to reveal Cadence. She gave a big smile to show Charming Thunder how much she missed her best brother.
"Surprise!" Twilight said.
"Charming Thunder." Cadence said in excitement. Both Charming Thunder and Cadence then gave a long hug. "I have missed you, little brother. I didn't know that you were going to live here in Ponyville."
They both released the hug and Charming Thunder said, "I am still trying to decide who to live with actually. I haven't chose to live with either Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Applejack, or with Rarity. But hey I am just glad your here. Oh, I almost forgot to introduce you two to somepony."
Daring Do then approached the group and introduced herself to them. "Its nice to meet you all," she said. She then explained to them the reason why she was visiting Ponyville and Charming Thunder showed them a picture of a Xenomorph from the book he was borrowing.

A few minutes later after the explanation, Pinkie Pie threw a party was celebrated for the arrival of Cadence and Shining Armor. Charming Thunder did not join the party however. He was studying the map that he had in his saddle back and marked a starting point at the entrance of the Everfree Forest and the endpoint at the temple. Cadence saw him at the table he was working at and walked up to him with confusion. "Why the long face, Charming Thunder?" Cadence asked when she was about to sit down next to him.
"Oh, nothing," Charming Thunder replied. "Its just that I wouldn't want to go on this journey alone with Daring Do." Then Charming Thunder had idea. "Hmm. Hey. Why don't you and Shining Armor come along? Sure that he is the captain of the royal guard."
"Sure. I would always like to go on an adventure. Why don't you ask your friends while I ask my husband?"
"Great idea." Charming Thunder then puts the quill down and stood up against the table. "Everypony, I have a request for you all." Everyone was now quiet and looked at Charming Thunder. "Since you are all aware that I have journey to the temple with Daring Do. And I was just wondering one thing before I go. Would you all like to come along?"
"Will it be dangerous?" Fluttershy asked.
"Not while I am here to protect you all," Charming Thunder replied. "Because if we encounter these creatures, I will take them down with my magic."
"Then count us in," Applejack said.
"Then it is settled then," he said. "We all will start our quest tomorrow morning."
Shining Armor entered the room after the discussion with Cadence and said, "Me, too."
"Everypony pack some food and water," Charming Thunder said. "It is going to be a long walk."
Twilight's friends all went home to get ready for tomorrow because it was almost night time and they need some sleep.
Twilight, Shining Armor, Cadence, and the rest of the gang met up with Charming Thunder and Daring Do at the entrance of the Everfree Forest in the morning. "Is everypony ready?"
Everyone nodded and they started to walk through the forest.
A few hours later, Charming Thunder was looking at the map to make sure if they were going the right way or wrong way until he said, "Stop." Everyone stopped. "I don't even know if we are even going the right way or not."
Fluttershy flew up to Charming Thunder and tapped his shoulder and said, "Uhm, is that it?" She pointed to the temple that was described as it was said on the map.
"Eeyup," Applejack said surprisingly. "That's the place."
Fluttershy took a look at the statues. It was the creature that its tongue-mouth out as it looked like on the map. She then dashed off behind a nearest rock until Twilight used her magic to grab her tail to bring her back. "Don't worry, Fluttershy," Cadence said cheering her up. "They're just statues of the Xenomorph."
"Oh," Fluttershy said. "That's a relief."
"Twilight," Charming Thunder said. "Did you bring a camera with you so we can take a group photo before we go in the temple?"
"Here it is," Twilight replied when she levitated the camera out of her saddlebag. Everyone was getting to their position for a picture to be taken. Twilight was still levitating her camera while she was standing between Charming Thunder and Shining Armor. They then smiled for the camera as the camera made a flash. Twilight then puts the camera away in the saddlebag and Daring Do was examining the hieroglyphics of symbols of an ancient language at the entrance of the temple. Charming Thunder and the others then entered the temple. Torches inside were lit across the hall until they approached a treasure room which was filled with lots of different colored jewels.
Rarity was so excited when she saw those jewels she started to run to a pile until Charming Thunder shouted, "Rarity!" She then froze at the very spot she was running. "You can grab as many jewels as you can after we find the room which contains the egg."
"Oh, alright," Rarity replied in an upsetting tone. She then rejoined the group and exited the room.

"Stop," Daring Do said. "We need to watch our step from here because this spot is booby trapped. So don't step on a tile with a hole on it."
"Piece of cake," Rainbow Dash replied. "Me and Fluttershy can fly over those tiles. It will be ten seconds flat."
"Alright, Rainbow," Charming Thunder replied. "but you two be careful." Charming Thunder and the rest of the group carefully made their way across the room. Once they got to the other side, there was the room which had the egg. It is an organic capsule which contains the first stage of the Xenomorph called the Facehugger. "There it is. But be careful. Rumor has it that if you step close to the egg, it will open up and the Fachugger will pop out and jump on your face. Shining, levitate that empty saddlebag close to it while I use my magic to levitate the egg in the mag so that when it is in, the egg will not hatch." Shining Armor then levitated the bag and moved it close to the egg as far as he could. "Ok. Here we go."
Charming Thunder carefully levitated the egg slowly in the bag while Shining Armor was levitating the bag open. "Careful," Charming Thunder said to himself. "You don't want to put it in the bag too fast." The egg was then in the bag as Shining Armor closed the saddlebag and levitated it to Charming Thunder. "We got it. Lets go." The group were about to walk back to the treasure room until they heard a very loud hissing sound which kind of sounds like a snake.
"W-w-what was that?" Fluttershy asked when she hid right behind Charming Thunder.
"I don't know," Twilight replied while she was looking around for the trace of the noise. "but something tells me that something is coming."
"Well bring it on then," Rainbow said. "I can take that thing on."
"I know a way to take it on," Charming Thunder said. "I have a spell to use lightning on anything without using a cloud. In fact see that door right there? That takes us back to the treasure room."
"Well lets go," Pinkie Pie said. "Before Rarity goes dashing off to that room without us." They heard the hissing sound again as they were walking and started to run through the door while they were screaming for their life.

"OK, Rarity," Charming Thunder said as he was giving bags to the group. "Let's grab as many gems as we can." The whole group then splits up into two ponies per group. Shining Armor was with Twilight, Charming Thunder was with Cadence, Rarity was with Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy was with Applejack, and Rainbow Dash was with Daring Do. Once all of their bags were full, they came back together and heard that the hissing sound was getting closer and closer when suddenly out of nowhere came a big creature which was similar to the Xenomorph. Its average height was 20 feet high quite larger than a regular Xenomorph as it was seen in the book. There were twin sets of arms on it which was kind of similar to a dinosaur. Its brain case was also bigger. Its tail looks like that it is a lot tougher than its drones. "Everypony," Charming Thunder said while he was staring at the group. "RUN!!!!!!!" The creature did a loud roar and started to chase the running group of ponies making their way back to the outside of the temple.
Once they reached outside, they stopped to catch their breath until the Xenomorph Queen jumped through the entrance and started to attack one of the ponies. It started to strike at Shining Armor, but he dodged it on time. Charming Thunder was about to jump on its back but the Xeno queen countered him with its tail which led him straight to a tree. It then wrapped his hind legs with its tail about to give it a final blow. It raised him all the way to its face so that the queen can finally have its lunch. "SHAZAM!" Charming Thunder shouted like he was casting a spell. Lightning was coming out of his horn then struck it at the queen which forced it to drop Charming Thunder to the ground. He then got back up and struck another bolt of lightning at the queen finishing it off. The Xeno exploded to pieces then the group started to take cover away from the acid blood. The queen was finally defeated.
"Is everypony okay?" Daring Do asked looking at everypony to make sure that no one was hurt.
"Were fine," Rarity replied. "And still got the jewels we collected."
"And the egg," Charming Thunder added. "Come on lets go back to Ponyville. And don't open the bag until we get to Twilight's house.
Back at Twilight's home, Charming Thunder, Twilight, and Shining Armor were doing research on the one of the stages of metamorphosing a Xenomorph. Charming Thunder flipped to the page where it gave a description of what it is. The picture of the Facehugger was a bony finger-like legged creature like a combination of a spider and a horseshoe crab as the description states "The purpose of the Facehugger is to jump to a victims face using its bony finger-like legs around the victim's head and wrapping its tail around the host's neck. The tail then slowly tightens to make the host gasp for oxygen and be rendered unconscious. It will then insert a tube-like proboscis into the mouth and down the throat of the host, supplying the host with oxygen while implanting an embryo." They continued reading the description and read a warning which stated, "WARNING: Any attempt to remove the Facehugger the victim's neck will be squeezed and peeling it off would result in tearing off the host's face." They both gulped in fear after reading this. Twilight looked at Charming Thunder and asked, "So it has to be one of us to be the test subject right?"
Charming Thunder looked at her in confusion and replied, "No." Twilight and Shining Armor sighed in a relief. "Do you know anyone evil you want to give payback on? Someone who tried to take over the world?"
"Discord tried to take over all of Equestria, but he is turned to stone so he is out of the question."
"What about a Changeling?" Cadence asked from behind the group. "They tried to take over Canterlot."
"Not Queen Chrysalis but one of her minions," Charming Thunder replied. "Great idea."
"But how are we going to catch one?" Twilight asked.
"Why not lure one of them out?" Charming Thunder asked. "Once our trap is set, we can trap it in a net and knock him out until we go to Canterlot to ask Celestia and Luna to show them a demonstration."
"Leave that to me and Shining Armor," Charming Thunder said
"Agreed," Twilight said. She then called her assistant, "Spike, take a note to Princess Celestia."
Spike then grabbed a piece of paper and quill and started writing similar to what Twilight is saying.

The Changeling was a black alicorn looking pony with bug wings, sharp fangs, pupiless eyes, and holes pierced on its legs. It was walking back and forth on his guard post in front of the gate to the Changeling kingdom. Charming Thunder and Shining Armor was setting up a trap for the Changeling guard to walk over. "What if it bites through the net when its trapped in there?" Shining Armor.
"Not to worry," Charming Thunder replied. He levitated out a control box and pressed the button. Sparks were flying around the net. He then pressed it again to turn it off. "With this net I made before I came to Ponyville, it won't stand a chance with volts of electricity. Alright. Go lure him here."
Shining Armor jumped out of the bushes and surprised the Changeling like that it remembers him before from the wedding. "Hey," the guard hissed. "You're the one who stopped my queen from taking over Canterlot. Queen Chrysalis is going to give me a promotion to captain when I catch you and bring you forth to my queen." Shining Armor then started running to the direction where Charming Thunder has his trap set up. Once the guard crossed to the middle of the net, the trap was triggered and the net started to rise up. "Grr. What is the meaning of this?" the guard hissed angrily. He then started to chew on the net so that it can escape but it was too late for that. He then felt bolts of electricity and lets out a loud scream which lured another Changeling guard to check out what was going on. It then looked through the bushes to see one of his friends caught in the net.
Charming Thunder started to look around with concern. "What's wrong?" Shining Armor asked with concern.
"I sense something. A presence I have not felt since...were being watched," Charming Thunder said. He and Shining Armor then turned around fast when they heard rustling sounds coming from the bushes and popped out of the bushes was the guard that was watching. Shining Armor then started to light up his horn as he was about to shoot it down. Charming Thunder placed his hoof on his shoulder and said, "Let him go. It is all part of my plan."
Shining Armor then looked at him with concern and said, "We can't just let one of the guards inform the queen."
"Patience, Shining. Patience. It is exactly what I was hoping to happen. Chrysalis will watch the demonstration as a special guest so that she will suffer as the way you suffered when they invaded Canterlot. Consider it as...revenge." Charming Thunder flipped the switch on his remote and the Changeling was now unconscious. Charming Thunder then levitated the net down, grabbed rope, and tied its hooves up and began walking back to Ponyville to inform Twilight and her friends that they caught and that they would be on their way to Canterlot castle.
The two princesses Celestia and her sister Luna were both at the throne room waiting for Twilight to arrive with Charming Thunder and the ancient artifact they have found. "Are you sure about this, sister?" Luna asked with concern.
Celestia giggled and replied, "Of course, Luna. It has been too long since we have seen our nephew Charming Thunder. Besides. My student said in the letter she sent me that he has something to show us and demonstrate to everypony." The guard knocked on the door and entered the room.
"Twilight and her friends are here." Celestia nodded and told him to send them in. Twilight and her friends including Charming Thunder and Daring Do entered the room. Charming Thunder was levitating a table in front while he was levitating the bag which had the egg. He then placed the table and placed a blanket over the egg and puts a glass over the egg and placed the blanket over it. They then bowed before the presence of the princesses.
"Aunt Celestia. Aunt Luna," Charming Thunder said after he looked up. He then walked to them and gave them a greeting hug. "it is so good to see you again."
"It is great to see you again, too," Luna said.
"How is Ponyville?" Celestia asked. "Have you ever found a place to live yet?"
"I made a decision on who I am living with," Charming Thunder replied. "but I will surprise you and my new friends on that later. For now it is time for me to show you what me, Daring Do, and my friends found at the temple Twilight was explaining to you about in the letter." Rarity then pushed a chalk board right behind the table and he levitated a piece of chalk and began drawing out pictures of the four stages of the Xenomorph. He then levitated the blanket off of the glass display with the egg in it and explained, "This is the first stage of the creature that you have never heard of." He pointed to the picture of the next stage which was the Facehugger. "This is the second stage of the creature which is why I am here to talk to you about." He then clapped his hooves and the doors opened and out came Shining Armor and Cadence carrying a covered cage which was shaking due to the movement while it was dropped to the ground. Shining Armor then levitated the curtain off of the cage revealing the Changeling.
"Why did you bring a Changeling here, Charming Thunder?" Luna asked, alarmed.
"That my dear," Charming Thunder replied. "Is our test subject for this little science project."
"Hmm. I did say to myself," Celestia pondered. "That if a Changeling was found, they would be executed. Guards, take the Changeling to the dungeon."
"Yes, ma'am," One of the guards said as they dragged it out of the throne room.
"What's the third stage?" Luna asked to her nephew to continue the discussion.
"There is," Charming Thunder said. He then pointed to the third stage which was a Chestburster. "The next stage is the Chestburster. It is the creature that forcibly emerges from the chest after the Facehugger lays its egg in the host's bronchial tubes. It is because it feeds on nutrients and white blood cells in the body."
"What if it is done eating those requirements?" Twilight asked.
"It finds the host's sternum, weakens the structure with acidic saliva and starts chewing through the chest. It would cause the victim to have blood loss, great pain, and shock. Then, it pops out of your chest like you are playing a game of Whack a Mole. Depending on the victim's blood color, the chestburster will shed its smooth skin and grow into either a Drone or my personal favorite that I have read in the book... a Predalien."
"What's a Predalien?" Daring Do asked.
"I shall show you in this book I have been borrowing from Twilight." Charming Thunder then levitated the book out of his saddle bag and turned to the page where the picture of the Predalien is. The creatures appearance is similar to the drone but there were dreadlocks on its head. Its tail is so sharp it can cut an apple into tiny pieces. A description says a very interesting fact about their behavior which stated "The methods of attacking their prey are like a lion or a wolf. They can circle around their intended victim, growl, then snap them up." Charming Thunder then closed the book and puts it back in his saddlebag.
"What are you going to do now?" Celestia asked.
"Me, Doctor Whooves, and his assistant Derpy are going to help me examine the egg if the Facehugger is alive," Charming Thunder replied.

"Derpy," the doctor called to his assistant. "Is the x-ray ready for Charming Thunder?"
"It sure is, doctor," Derpy replied.
"OK, Charming Thunder. Place the egg behind the machine."
"Right," Charming Thunder replied as he levitated the egg. The x-ray was then turned on and it revealed the image of the Facehugger that is inside it. "Any heart beat detected, doctor?"
"Yes. There is." the doctor replied. "It is probably asleep."
"Then I think it is best not to wake it up," Derpy said. Charming Thunder nodded in agreement and placed the egg back in the huge testing tube.
"Thanks for the help, doctor," Charming Thunder said as he was walking out of the door.
Twilight and her friends including Cadence, Shining Armor, and Daring Do were playing a card at a table called Uno. The card face up on top of the other cards was a green ten. Cadence placed a green skip card to skip Rainbow Dash's turn then it was Twilight's turn. She placed a green reverse card on top of the card. Now it was Rainbow's turn. She puts her hoof on her chin to think a good move with her last two cards. "Uno!" Rainbow shouted as she placed a draw four card and chose a color that was in her hand, "blue." It was Cadence's turn and she threw down a blue one. It was then Shining Armor's turn and placed a blue zero. Pinkie placed a blue six during her turn. A couple of turns later, it was Rainbow's turn again. In her hoof was a green card and she looked at the number to make sure if she has the same number on her card. She then smiled and said after she placed the card, "I win."
"You never loose, Rainbow," Applejack said. Charming Thunder entered the room while Twilight levitated the cards back in the box.
"The doctor said that the Facehugger is asleep," Charming Thunder said as he placed the test tube in the pillar in the room they were staying in the castle. "We are going to hatch this egg tomorrow morning."
"Well," Pinkie Pie said she then yawned and said, "Don't you think that it is time for bed?"
"Yeah," Daring Do replied. "I'm getting tired, too."
"Everypony can go to bed. I'll be up in a second," Charming Thunder said as he was walking to a couch to sit at. "Good night."

A few minutes later, everyone was asleep upstairs. Rarity however came downstairs to make sure if Charming Thunder is okay. When she got downstairs, she saw Charming Thunder asleep on the couch. "Oh, Charming Thunder." Rarity whispered to herself. "Why does everypony sometimes sleep without a blanket. Ponies can't get some warmth without one." She then levitated a blue blanket over Charming Thunder so that he can be warm. She then walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek like how she would say good night to her sister Sweetie Belle. "Good night, Charming Thunder," Rarity whispered while heading back upstairs to bed. "Tomorrow is going to be a great day for your greatest discovery." Rarity continued to walk upstairs so that she can get some more sleep and prepare for tomorrow morning. "I wish that you lived with me," she said silently to herself as she went back to bed.

Ponies gathered around the stable which was set up in the middle of the castle courtyard. Celestia, Luna, and Charming Thunder were the first three ponies to step on stage. Luna stepped up and gave an announcement, "Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today for my nephew's greatest discovery and we have-" Luna stopped when she heard a familiar voice.
"I know you have one of my Changelings," Queen Chrysalis said. She was similar to a Changeling except that she is a queen and that she has teal mane and tail, blue-green chitinous plating over her midsection, and she wears a small, black crown tipped with blue orbs to represent herself as the queen of the Changelings. "I demand that you give that Changeling back to me this instance." Guards came and surrounded the queen to make sure that she doesn't get in Charming Thunder's way. Charming Thunder clapped his hooves and the doors opened to reveal two guards with the Changeling in chains to make sure it doesn't fly away or run away. They proceeded to the stable to place the Changeling on a table and chained it on.
"Queen Chrysalis," Charming Thunder said as he approached the queen. "You are just in time for my little experiment."
"What experiment?" the queen asked angrily.
"You'll see," Charming Thunder replied. He then levitated a scroll which he needs to read to explain the experiment. "Fillies and Gentlecolts, you are about to experience a greatest discovery when me and my new friends dicovered the temple of the Xenomorph." Everyone gasped in a happily way. "I give you the egg of the Xenomorph." He levitated the curtain of the test tube off to reveal the egg. "This egg contains the Facehugger which will go on the victims face and lay an egg inside it. This Changeling has been found guilty for the crime for invading Canterlot weeks ago." He looked away the scroll and continued. "The sentence...death." Queen Chrysalis struggled to go through the guards that are blocking her way but they keep pushing her back. Charming Thunder opened the tube, grabbed the Changeling, make it look at the egg to wake up the Facehugger. "Aunt Celestia and Luna, we need to stand back for this," Charming Thunder said while the guards connected the chained legs to the ground and his neck to the tube so that his face could stay where it is for the Facehugger to jump on its face. The egg started to shake as a sign that the creature in the egg is about to come out. It stopped shacking and the egg opened like how a flower would bloom. It's skeletal hands popped out of the egg to reveal itself and then using its agility, it did a leap like a frog and attached itself on the Changelings face. Its spine like tail wrapped its neck so that it can lay its egg inside of the victim. The Changeling muffled a little bit. When the guards came to remove the chains, the Changeling collapsed to the ground on its side. "Take him to the lab," Charming Thunder said to one of the guards. "and make sure you have him chained to the wall." The guard nodded in a reply and dragged the Changeling away into the castle. Hopefully its the matter of time when the Facehugger gets off of the victims face for the start of the third stage of transformation. "Oh and one more thing," Charming Thunder said as the guards stopped. "If the Facehugger is off of its face come and tell me." The guards then continued to walk into the castle. The doors were then slammed shut and everyone then went back to town going back to what they were doing.
Charming Thunder looked back at Queen Chrysalis as the guards were about to leave her be. Once there was no one around in the courtyard, she charged at Charming Thunder with her horn lit up. He then said a magic spell to make her stop moving, "Paralysis!" Chrysalis was then frozen like an ice cube.
"What did you do to me?" she demanded.
"Oh just a little paralysis spell."
She tried to struggle to break the spell. "Why did you even take my Changeling anyway?" she asked.
"Come to the lab to find out. Just promise me this: you will never again set foot into Canterlot." He then closed his eyes to break the paralysis spell and asked, "deal?"
"Alright. But that doesn't mean that I am your friend."
"Good show," Charming Thunder said as he was walking to the castle.

Charming Thunder was back in his room with his friends reading the first book of the series of Daring Do's Adventures. He was amazed that she has collected lots of artifacts. Charming Thunder bookmarked the page he stopped on and asked Daring Do, "What are you going to do when this is over?"
"Hmm. Probably go home and find some more treasure to collect," she replied. "so that I can go on more adventures."
"When I was a filly, I use to pretend to go on an adventure. I have always dreamed about going on an adventure. And now it has come true."
"I am glad you like adventures, too. Maybe if we meet again, we can go on another one together."
"Sounds like a plan."
A guard entered the room and said, "The doctor needs you. Its about the Facehugger."
"Tell him I'm on my way. Daring Do grab our friends. I have a Xenomorph to introduce to you."

Queen Chrysalis, Charming Thunder, Daring Do and the others arrived at the lab on time to see the Changeling still alive...for now. Derpy walked up to Charming Thunder carrying a big test tube and said as she was giving it to him, "You are going to need this."
"I know," Charming Thunder said. "When that thing bursts out of its victims chest, it will just run off around the castle."
"That is why I have one just for you," Doctor Whooves said as he was looking at the x-ray of the Changeling's skeleton. "You all might want to come here. I think he is waking up. The Changeling was chained to the wall. He sees the Facehugger lying on the floor dead as the result of the egg laid inside him. He then tried to move, but he realizes that he is chained up. The door opened with Charming Thunder levitating the test tube and placed it not too close to the Changelings chest.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!" the Changeling demanded. "Why am I chained up like this?" Charming Thunder did not answer.
When he finished setting up the trap for the Chestburster and walked to the door, he replied before he entered the viewing room, "You'll see. Oh, wait. That's right. You won't." The doors then closed and the Changeling felt something in his chest. It felt like he was being used as a punching bag. He then started screaming in terror as felt some pain.
Charming Thunder saw what was going on in the x-ray screen and said, "It's coming." Daring Do and the others gathered around and took a look at what the Chestburster is doing. It is chewing on the bones of his chest. The Changeling's chest was then bursted open. Green blood was spilled on the floor in the room. The Chestburster crawled out of its chest and into the test tube. Once it was inside, the tube's lid closed so that it would not run off.
Charming Thunder smiled with joy and said, "Let me go check what it is." He then left to get the test tube and bring it back to the lab. He came face to face with the Chestburster. It's smooth skin color was grey and cream white. It had a yellowish hide and had a large multi-spiked blade for a tail. The dome covering the head was also slightly more transparent than a Warrior's and hollow eye sockets could be seen beneath. "Everypony," Charming Thunder said. "Its...a...Predalien." He knew that it was a Predalien due to the way it looks.
"Let's show it to the princesses," Twilight suggested.
"Good idea," Charming Thunder replied.
"But what of my dead minion?" the queen hissed.
"He failed you before. You think about it." He then turned to the guards. "Get the Changeling unchained."
Yes, sir," one of the guards said as they were about to give the dead Changeling to the queen. Charming Thunder and the group then left the lab and went straight to the throne room.

Charming Thunder and Twilight were both in front of the group as they were walking down the hall to the throne room. "Charming Thunder, can I ask you something?" Twilight asked.
"Sure. What is it you want to know?" Charming Thunder replied.
"Well now that you have a Xenomorph, what are you going to do with it?"
"I am going to ask Aunt Celestia and Aunt Luna that when it grows big that you and I can use our magic to tell it that all ponies are friendly and that if any pony are evil, it will attack anypony who gets in its way. Anything else you want to know?"
"Yes. You said yesterday that you already decided who you want to live with. Well, who exactly?"
"That is a surprise for you and your friends."
"One more thing, Charming Thunder," Twilight said as they approached the door to the throne room.
"What's that?" Twilight then stepped up close to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Aww. What was that for?" Charming Thunder said with a blush.
Charming Thunder, Twilight, and the rest of the group entered the throne room where Princess Celestia and Luna are sitting at their thrones. Charming Thunder was levitating a covered testing tube with the Predalien in it. "Well did you find out what it is that came out of the Changelings chest, nephew?" Luna asked while she and her sister walked up to him.
"Yes," Charming Thunder replied. "It is..." Charming Thunder then levitated the curtain off of the tube to reveal the Chestburster. "...a Predalien."
Celestia and Luna were both surprised when they saw a Predalien in the tube. "Does it have air while it is in there?" Celestia asked.
"Yes. It has lots of air thanks to our two friends Doctor Whooves and Derpy. I have a request for you about the Predalien."
"And whats that?"
"I was thinking about me and Twilight using our magic to talk to it with our magic when it is fully grown to tell it that we are its friend and to attack our friends only if they are a threat to Ponyville or Canterlot."
"I think you can give that a try. Maybe Fluttershy can help as well." Celestia said as she was about to accept his request.
"That is a great idea. I have heard than she is good with animals. I'll keep that in mind. What do ya' say, Fluttershy?"
"Oh, I'd love to help," Fluttershy replied.
"Then its settled then. It sheds it skin tommorow. So I am going to take it back to the lab and build a restraint trap just to make sure that it won't attack." Charming Thunder then left the throne room so that he can get the trap ready.

Charming Thunder was holding one of the last piece of his trap. He levitated the piece and then connected the piece to the spot where the tail is going to be restrained. "OK, doctor." Charming Thunder shouted. He then stood on his hooves and placed his hooves in the handcuff looking restraint. "Try it." Doctor Whooves pressed the button and the seals caught Charming Thunder's hoofs. "OK. It works. It is now ready for tomorrow. Turn it off." The seals then opened and released his hooves. He levitated the tube and opened the lid to let loose the Chestburster. "Tomorrow you are going to be friendly." Charming Thunder then stood up and exited the room to head back to Twilight and her friends.

Charming Thunder continued reading the Daring Do Adventure book on the page he bookmarked. He was almost finished with the book before he started to read the next book. He then closed the book cause he was finished with it. Rarity entered the room once he placed the books back in his bag. "Excuse me, Charming Thunder," Rarity said. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure," Charming Thunder replied.
"Do ever like to design outfits for fashion?"
"I think so. But I have seen your dress designs when I first visited your house. I am impressed."
Rarity gave a giggle and said, "Oh. Thank you. Maybe I can design some outfits for you that is if you want me to."
"I would love that."
Rarity yawned and said, "Well we better get some sleep. Tomorrow we have a Predalien to make friends with."
"Right. Good night, Rarity."
"Good night." Rarity exited Charming Thunder's room and went back back to her room with her friends. Charming Thunder then tucked himself under the blanket of his bed and started to feel his cheek to remember the best moment of the day.

In the morning, Charming Thunder was getting ready to go to the lab until he heard knocking on his door. "Who is it?" he shouted.
"Its me. Doctor Whooves." the doctor replied.
Charming Thunder rushed to the door and opened it. "whats happening?"
"The trap. It...it.."
"Yes?"
"IT WORKED"
"It did? I'll tell my friends and the princesses about the great news."

After Charming Thunder informed his friends and Celestia and Luna, he and the group headed to the lab. They both took a wide glance at the fully grown Predalien. "Look at the size of that thing," Twilight said. The Preadlien still looks the same as it looked when it was small but its tail is more spikier. The creature gave a really loud roar as it was like it was being tortured.
"It is beautiful," Charming Thunder said as he stepped up close to the window to take a closer look at it. "Are you two ready?" Twilight and Fluttershy both nodded. the door was open to the room to confront the Predalien trying to make it friendly. "Hello, my friend." The Predalien then struggled to break free to attack the group but it could not break the restraints on its hands. "Don't worry. We mean you no harm. We just want to get a long with each other and other ponies." It then started to calm down as that it was listening to what Charming Thunder was saying. Twilight and Charming Thunder's horns started to glow so that they can access its mind to talk in it.
"We are peaceful ponies who have a lot of evil villains in the land we call Equestria." Twilight said to the Predalien's mind. "If you be friendly to us all, you can be used as an executioner for our princess named Celestia."
"So that way you can have all of the food you want," Charming Thunder said. "so what do ya' say. Want to be friends?" Charming Thunder and Twilight's horns stopped glowing because they stopped talking to its mind. "Doctor, release it." The doctor pressed the button to release the Predalien. It dropped to is clawed feet and landed hard to the ground. Charming Thunder the stepped close to it to make sure it will become friendly.
Suddenly, the Predalien grabbed Charming Thunder with its hands as Twilight was readying her magic to strike but Charming Thunder said, "No. Wait!" The Predalien then slowly brought Charming Thunder close to its slimy chest. 'Is it going to give me a hug?' Charming Thunder said to himself. He was right. It was giving Charming Thunder a friendly hug as he hugged it. "Thank you for understanding." It then placed Charming Thunder to the ground and it walked over to Twilight and Fluttershy and gave them a hug as well.
The Predalien then dropped them to the ground and they were all covered with slime including Charming Thunder.
Back at Twilight's house, Charming Thunder started to read the next book. Daring Do thanked Charming Thunder and his friends for her help on the adventure to the temple. "Hey, Charming Thunder." Spike said. "Twilight and her friends are waiting for you downstairs."
"Oh yeah. I almost forgot to tell them who I was going to live with." Charming Thunder said and he rushed downstairs to meet them. When he got downstairs, he also saw Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom.
"So who are you living with?" Cadence asked.
"OK. And now the pony who I am living with is..." He then pointed a hoof towards Rarity. "...you, Rarity. After all I did promise your sister one thing."
"And whats that?" Rarity asked.
"That I will help her, Scootaloo, and Applebloom find their talents so that they can get their cutie marks."
Sweetie Belle ran to Charming Thunder to give him a hug and said, "Welcome to the family, Charming Thunder. I knew that you kept your promise."
"Pinkie, remember that promise I gave to you?"
"Yup," Pinkie Pie replied.
"Well then. Lets get this party started!"
"Yahooo!!!!"

When the party which was over, Charming Thunder walked home to his new home with Rarity and Sweetie Belle. "So what are you thinking to earn our cutie marks? Or can you tell us how you got yours?" Scootaloo asked.
"How about tomorrow morning, I will tell you how I got mine and then we come up with ideas. OK," Charming Thunder replied.
"Sure," Applebloom said. "We are so happy that you moved here. After what Sweetie Belle said, we were sure that you would be a great help to the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Well see y'all later." Applebloom then trotted back to her sister so that they can go back home. Scootaloo went with Rainbow Dash to her house because she remembered that she promised to have a sleepover with her idol.

Once Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and their new housemate Charming Thunder came to their house, Sweetie showed him to his new room. Rarity was downstairs making dinner while she was humming a tune. Charming Thunder heard the familiar tune of the humming coming from downstairs and said, "I know that song." He then walked downstairs to see Rarity in the kitchen cooking dinner. He stood in front of the room and sang to the tune:
♪ Let your mind start a journey to a brand new world ♪ ♪ Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before ♪
Rarity then started to sing along with the final line.
♪ Let you soul take you where you want to be ♪ ♪ Only then can you belong to me ♪
They stopped singing and Rarity said, "You know this song, too. Then you must've seen the musical called "The Pony of the Opera" have you?"
"Why yes I have," Charming Thunder replied. "I saw the musical on the day it was released."
"Me, too." Rarity was excited that she had heard an amazing singing voice.
They then sang the next verse of the song:
♪ Floating, Falling, Sweet intoxication ♪ ♪ Touch me, trust me, savor each sensation ♪ ♪ Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in to the power of the music that I write ♪ ♪ The power of the Music of the Night ♪
They stopped singing because dinner is ready. "Oh. Charming Thunder dear, can you set up the table?"
"With pleasure," Charming Thunder replied.

The table was set up perfectly. Every one at the dinner plates had chopped carrots and mashed potatoes. "This is really good food," Charming Thunder said. "You are an amazing cook."
"Thanks, Charming Thunder," Rarity replied.
Once they were done eating Rarity levitated the plates to kitchen sink so that she can clean them. Sweetie Belle yawned and went up to bed. "Well, good night," Sweetie Belle said.
"Good night," Rarity said.
Once Rarity was done cleaning the dishes, Charming Thunder walked with her to bed. Rarity's bedroom had a wardrobe full of dresses that she made for herself. Rarity tucked herself to bed and asked Charming Thunder, "Charming Thunder, can you sing the final part of the song we have been singing?"
"Sure," Charming Thunder replied. Once her eyes were closed, he began to sing quietly to her:
♪ You alone can make my song take flight ♪
As he was about to leave to his room, he sang the final line as he slowly closed her door.
♪ Help me make the Music of the ♪ ♪ Night ♪
He sang the word "night" and when the door was closed and he smiled as he finished the line. He trotted to his room where Sweetie Belle was also sleeping and began to fall asleep in his new bed. He remembered the fun times he had when he arrived in Ponyvile. He closed his eyes and began to sleep until Celestia raises the sun so that he can have a fun time with his new friends Rarity, Daring Do, Applejack, Spike, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Applebloom, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and most importantly Twilight Sparkle.
