Chapter 1: Her Story

It was a cold and dark evening, walking along the dirt path was a small filly, probably no older than the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She had a coat of pure white and a mane that of sky blue, but the most distinctive of her features were her glistening, yellow eyes. With such an adoring appearance and the cuteness of a small filly, she could be seen by everypony as a little angel when they first laid their eyes on her...

Nothing though however, could be farther from the truth... Her name was Lilith... and this is her story.

...

Lilith, a unicorn, was born and raised in Manehatten. She was like any other filly. She went to school, she made many friends, and always had fun being with them. She was a good student and was one of the very few that actually liked to work. She'd play with her friends after class was dismissed and then return home to do her homework and whatever chores she was expected to do when she returned everyday. The only thing that made the poor filly's heart ache was that her parents were always very busy, working 24/7, being out everyday all the time and not thinking about their child hurt Lilith each and everyday that passed.

You could say that Lilith technically lived on her own for the most part. She knew her parents were never home, so she had to care for herself most of the time by cooking, cleaning, and whatever else needed to be done around the house. She was never acknowledged by her parents for her good grades and success in school, so eventually she decided to just stop bothering with it. Though Lilith was relatively happy when she was at school and when she hung out with her friends... that all changed one fateful day... when her dad passed away.

Lilith may not have been close with her father, but she was heart-broken and torn apart by the fact her father was gone in general... but the pain didn't stop there. Her father's passing left her mother broken as well. She didn't care about her job anymore, or to do any work in general. Instead, she just stayed at home, a mess and drunk, not even thinking about how this would impact Lilith's life. With no other options, Lilith was forced to look for part time jobs, while still being in school, to keep food on the table, for herself and for her mother.

Lilith worked day and night each and everyday, whether it be doing normal school work or going to the multiple jobs she had. Whatever days she was lucky enough to have off, she spent doing housework and caring for her mother, who in return only showed hate and abuse towards her. What ever money Lilith earned from her jobs, was only taken by her mother to spend on alcohol and other things for herself and because of this, Lilith never had any money for herself to feed her empty stomach or buy any supplies that she needed for school. She was lucky though to have friends, as they invited her over whenever they noticed she was hungry, but Lilith felt awful constantly depending on her friends to feed her and eventually stopped going over to their houses.

Over time, Lilith didn't know what to do anymore. Fatigued most of the time, she was fired from her jobs for not being able to complete them and stopped attending school to care for her ungrateful mother. Coming home everyday to only abuse and being beaten by her mother took its toll not only on her body, but on her mind as well.

One day when Lilith returned home, her mother was much more violent and angry then usual. Lilith usually being able to cope with it, just couldn't take it anymore. She stopped her mother's punches and dragged her into the kitchen, throwing her onto the ground. Lilith opened a drawer and drew a knife from it, walking closer to her mother she pushed her up against the counter and drove the knife straight into her chest, and dragged it down towards her stomach until her torso was completely cut in half.

Blood covering the surroundings and her face, she ripped open her mother's torso and started to rip out her intestines with her teeth, tossing them on the floor and splattering them against the walls. Lilith with only blood lust and insanity in her eyes, grabbed her mother by her neck and dragged her across the floor to an open wall. Lilith stood her mother up against the wall and spread her hooves apart. She went back to the kitchen and got a few more knives, returning to her mother's eviscerated body, she shoved a knife through each one of her hooves, attaching her to wall she was held up against.

Lilith laughing to herself and her pupils convulsing, got ready to finish the job. She reached into her mother's open torso and pulled her large intestines out and onto the ground. Her mother crying and screaming, only made Lilith enjoy what she was doing even more. She put her intestines around her mother's neck and looped it back around. Using her magic, she pulled each side together, suffocating her mother with her own organs until the life had completely left her body.

Lilith stood in front of what she had done, laughing to herself as the blood dripped down from her mother's carcass. Lilith then took her mother off the wall and dragged her upstairs to the attic. She shut the attic door behind her and blocked it with whatever she could find, locking herself inside with her dead mother. She then proceeded towards her mother and sat down next to her, stroking her mane and quietly talking to herself...

"I love you mommy... I-I'll always love you... Hehehe..."

"Don't worry mommy... I won't ever leave your side... I'll be with you forever and ever..."

"And you'll love me... you'll love me... right mommy?..."

Lilith repeated those same words over and over again as she sat by her deceased mother, waiting for death to take her away.

Many years have passed since that incident and no one knows what happened to Lilith and her mother... But Lilith isn't gone.
Exposed to abuse and hate throughout her life as such a little filly had caused her to completely lose her mind and die alone, with no one but her dead mother by her side. Seeing as how Lilith had never received the love and warmth of a mother's love and praise, caused her to come back from death... but as nothing more than a demon.

Lilith had traveled from Manehatten... to Fillydelphia... to Baltimare... searching for the motherly love and attention that she so desperately yearned for when she was alive. Being only ignored and resented by those whom she came across, she proceeded to search endlessly until she found what she was looking for... and now she's made it to Ponyville.

...

Proceeding down the dirt path, Ponyville could be seen in the distance and a smile on her face. Dark clouds looming overhead signaling a storm, she hoped to get there before it started to pour and hopefully find what she was looking for... and if anyone she see's thinks it's going to be an obstacle to get the love she wants...

She'll return the love... The same way she showed her mother how she loved her...

Chapter 2: The Arrival

Lilith had made it to the outskirts of Ponyville. She could feel droplets falling on her mane and it was only a matter of time before it started to rain even harder. She entered the peaceful town and looked around eagerly to see if anyone was outside, but to no avail. She tried knocking on other ponies' doors, but nearly everyone was already asleep at the time. As the dark clouds overhead loomed closer and closer, she had no choice but to start looking for a place to take shelter under until the storm died down. As Lilith was about to start looking, she noticed what seemed to be a large tree house, still with its lights on. Seeing this, Lilith sprinted over to the house and started knocking on the door, pleading to come inside.

"H-Hello? Is anyone home? Can you please let me inside before it starts raining! H-Hello?" Lilith pleaded.

After standing outside the door for a few seconds, it opened and she was greeted by a unicorn with a purple coat and mane.

"Oh, hello there little one," the unicorn said. "What are you doing outside this late? Especially when it's about to rain!"

As Lilith was about to respond, a loud noise could be heard from her stomach.

"Oh you poor thing. Are you hungry?" the unicorn asked. "Come inside and get all warmed up while I find something for you to eat."

With a smile on her face, Lilith happily walked inside the unicorn's house and sat down on the floor.

"Here," the unicorn said, handing Lilith a red velvet pillow. "You can sit on that, It wouldn't be right for you to sit on the floor."

Lilith bit the pillow and set it down, moving herself on top of it.

"Now you wait here while I go find something for you to eat," the unicorn said. "My name is Twilight Sparkle by the way, what's yours?"

"L-Lilith," Lilith answered.

"Well it's very nice to meet you Lilith, now hold on I'll be right back," Twilight said, walking into the next room.

Lilith observed Twilight's house from where she was sitting, she could tell Twilight was very interested in books and reading considering they were everywhere, and it almost looked like a library. After a few minutes, Twilight returned with some food and a blanket. The thunder and lightning could be heard raging outside in the storm.

"Wow, it's really coming down outside, right? Good thing you got inside before it started," Twilight said, handing her a plate of hayfries. "Here you go. I'm sorry it isn't much. I haven't really gotten around to food shopping recently."

"N-No no, it looks delicious! Thank you so much!" Lilith squeed, devouring the hayfries.

"So why don't you tell me a bit about yourself," Twilight said. "Where, exactly, are you from?"

"I'm from... Manehatten," Lilith said.

Twilight's eyes widened, "Manehatten? That's pretty far away... How did you arrive here in Ponyville?"

"Oh! Um... It's a long story... I'd really rather not talk about it if you don't mind..." Lilith said.

"Oh, alright then... let's talk about something else then," Twilight said. "I noticed that you don't have your cutie mark yet, but do you have anything in mind that you think might be your special talent?"

"Um... I'm not sure... I actually liked to go to school and... do work and stuff..." Lilith said. "But that's pretty much it..."

"Oh me to! I absolutely love to work! Especially reading! I love to read all the time!" Twilight rambled.

Lilith finished off her hayfries as Twilight was talking about her favorite activities and books.

"Oh you're finished, again I'm sorry that it wasn't much," Twilight said.

"N-No it's fine really, it's the first actual meal I've had in a while, so I'm grateful..." Lilith said.

"First you've had in a while? What do you mean? Don't your parents feed you?" Twilight said.

Lilith stared down at the plate with a frown on her face.

"My... my parents are... gone..." Lilith said. "My father passed away when I was very young... and my mother...my mother..."

Lilith's eyes started to tense up, her pupil's convulsing in size as the memories started to flow back. Her breathing became heavy and she started to shiver.

"...My mother also died... she couldn't bear the pain of losing my father anymore... s-so she... took her own life..." Lilith said, a smile starting to form on her face while a faint laugh could be heard from behind her teeth.

"Lilith? Lilith are you alright?" Twilight said, grabbing her body. "LILITH!"

"Huh? W-What!? What happened?" Lilith said, trying to regain her sanity.

"I never would have thought that someone like you would be suffering so much," Twilight said. "Losing both your parents at such a young age is devastating! I can also see that it's really affected you, you were a nervous wreck a few seconds ago."

Lilith looked up at Twilight and hugged her, beginning to cry softly.

"I-I've lost my parent's... I-I've lost my home—my friends!" Lilith said, tears dripping down her face. "I-I've lost everything Twilight..."

Twilight looked down at the devastated filly, she couldn't possibly send Lilith out on her own after what she just heard. Bringing the filly closer to her, Twilight spoke in a calm and relaxed voice.

"You don't have to go anywhere anymore Lilith... You're welcome to say here with me from now on," Twilight said. "I'll take care of you from here on out..."

Lilith wiped the tears from her face and looked back up at Twilight.

"R-Really? I can... s-stay here? With you?" Lilith said. "You'll... take care of me?"

"Of course Lilith! How could I just let you go out on your own after what you just told me?" Twilight said softly.

Lilith, elated with happiness, tried to hold back tears of joy, but hugged Twilight tightly and sobbed loudly.

"T-Thank you! Thank you so much Twilight! I promise I'll be a good little daughter!" Lilith squeed. "I promise I'll make you happy and proud to be my mother!"

"Mother? Daughter?" Twilight questioned. "Heh... you're right, I guess I am technically your mother from here on out..."

Lilith held Twilight close as she let out a few more cries. With there being so much noise downstairs, Spike came downstairs to see what all the racket was.

"Twilight... I know you like to stay up late and read... but do you think you could keep the volume down just a little bi-" Spike paused. "Um Twilight? Who is that that you're holding in your arms?

Twilight lifted her head and looked up at Spike.

"Spike, I'd like you to meet my daughter... Lilith," Twilight said abruptly.

"Wait, what? Daughter? What do you mean daughter?" Spike questioned.

Twilight explained to Spike everything that had just happened and why she is taking her in.

"Man... that's terrible for a filly her age," Spike said. "Well if you want my opinion, I think taking her in is a really sweet thing of you to do Twilight!"

"Heh, thanks Spike. I think tomorrow morning I'll help her get settled in and introduce her to all my friends!" Twilight said. "How does that sound Lilith?"

"Alright, if that's what you want to do!" Lilith said, very enthusiastically.

"Great! But you better get to bed now, you've had a long day and we've got a lot to do tomorrow!" Twilight said.

Twilight walked Lilith upstairs. She used her magic to transform her bed into a bunk bed for Lilith.

"You can have the bottom bunk okay?" Twilight said.

"Alright!" Lilith said, climbing into bed.

"Welcome to family Lilith! I know we're gonna have a lot of fun together!" Spike said.

" Thanks Spike! I can hardly wait till tomorrow..." Lilith said, while looking at Spike her pupils started to convulse again and her vision changed to seeing everything in a blood red color. She could hear whispering in the back of her head.

"Kill him before he takes her away from you... you don't want to be alone again do you?... Take this opportunity and DO IT!" The voices in her head said repeatedly, telling her to end Spike's life here and now. Lilith started to whisper to herself.

"Take... her away? No... no I just found what I was looking for!... I-I won't let him take my mother away from me..." Lilith whispered to herself.

"Lilith?" Twilight said.

Hearing Twilight's voice snapped Lilith out of insanity.

"H-Huh? What?" Lilith said.

"I know it'll take some time for you to get over what happened to your parents. But don't worry, I'll be here to help you through it..." Twilight said softly.

"Yeah... Thank you so much..." Lilith said, yawning.

"Good night Lilith, I'll see you in the morning." Twilight said, pulling the covers over Lilith and blowing out the candles.

Lilith, happy that she had finally found what she had been searching for, closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep...

But how long will her happiness last?

Chapter 3: Sweet Dreams

Lilith slept comfortably in her bed, dreaming of the pleasantries she would soon have with Twilight. She was sound asleep until she was rudely awaken in the morning.

"Time to get up Lilith!" Twilight said, nudging Lilith's body with her hoof.

Lilith sat up in her bed, stretching her arms and body, letting out a big yawn while rubbing her eyes. Drearily looking up at Twilight, she remembered that she said she'd help her get settled in today, and leapt out of bed with excitement.

"Good morning Mom! What are we doing today? Are you gonna take me clothes shopping? Or maybe you're going to take me to enroll in school here!? Or maybe we're going to go an-" Lilith said, interrupted.

"Calm down there Lilith," Twilight said happily. "I need you to come with me to Sugarcube Corner, I have to pick something up before we can start doing anything."

"Oh okay!" Lilith said, looking at floor and seeing Spike still asleep, she proceeded to walk downstairs with Twilight and move towards the door. About to leave, Twilight pauses and remembers that she had something to give Lilith.

"Oh! I almost forgot," Twilight said, she used her magic to pick something up from her desk. "This is for you Lilith."

Twilight handed Lilith a little scarf, stripped blue and white, making it a beautiful match with her coat and mane.

"It's beautiful!" Lilith said, wrapping the scarf around her neck. "Thank you so much Mom! I promise I'll take good care of it!"

"I'm so happy you like it," Twilight said. "Now come on, I'd rather not keep them waiting with my order."

Twilight and Lilith left the library and started to walk down the road towards Sugarcube Corner, making some idle conversation as they were walking.

"So, how do you like here so far Lilith?" Twilight asked.

"Well, I only just got here, but I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun here! Especially, since I have you with me!" Lilith said, giggling.

"Well I'm glad, besides, I don't think you'll have any trouble fitting in around here," Twilight said, both of them laughing together.

They conversed until they reached Sugarcube Corner. Twilight entered first and Lilith followed behind her. When they went inside, all they could see was darkness. Lilith tried to stay close to Twilight and held onto her while going through the dark room until Twilight stopped moving.

"Huh? W-Why have we stopped? Didn't you say that you had t-" Lilith said, interrupted by the lights turning on.

"SURPRISE!"

"Huh!? What the?" Lilith said, confused at the group of ponies in the room.

"Lilith, these are my best friends," Twilight said. "I'd like you to meet Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, who wanted to throw a surprise party for you to welcome you to Ponyville."

Pinkie sprinted up to Lilith and started speaking almost incomprehensibly.

"Hiya! So you're Lilith huh!? Well it's super duper awesome to meet you! I'm Pinkie Pie, but you already know that! Do you have any hobbies? What's your favorite flavor cake? Do you like an-" Pinkie said, interrupted by Twilight.

"Pinkie, calm down, she's still new here and hasn't gotten accustomed to things yet." Twilight said.

"Yea you're right, I'm sorry, I just get so excited when I meet someone new!" Pinkie said. "But I've never met a filly with such a sad story behind her."

"You... You know about what happened to me?" Lilith said. "But how?"

"Twilight here told us all about what happened to you and your parents," Applejack said. "It's definitely the saddest thing I've ever heard."

"Me to, when Twilight told us what happened, I couldn't help but burst into tears after hearing it." Fluttershy said.

"Even I admit I cried a little, but you gotta stay strong kid! All of us will help you get back on your feet!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Absolutely, I cannot stand by and see someone so innocent lead a life filled with suffering," Rarity said.

Twilight walked towards her friends and stood with them.

"We'll all help you through this Lilith, you can count on us!" Twilight said.

"Heh, wow... Thanks everyone... I-I don't know what to... what to..." Lilith said, holding her head in pain, she could hear a loud pitched screech in the back of her head. Her heart rate increasing and eyes convulsing in size again, she looked up at the group of friends, seeing only in blood red with her psychotic vision. She started to hear the voices in her head once more as she looked at them.

"Look at them... It's only a matter of time before they take her away from you... you have to do something..." the voices said. Lilith began whispering to herself quietly.

"Take her away... n-no not again... They're all crazy if they think I'll let that h-happen..." Lilith whispered to herself.

"ISOLATION! That's all that will remain for you if you don't do something!..." the voices said.

"Hey kid, you okay?" Rainbow asked. "You don't look so good."

"Yeah, you alright there sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

Lilith continued to whisper to herself again.

"Won't let them take you... won't let them take you... won't let them take you..." Lilith said repeatedly, until Twilight spoke up, her voice snapping Lilith out of insanity.

"Lilith, are you alright? What's wrong?" Twilight asked.

"Huh? Oh... yeah, I'm... I'm fine... I'm fine Mom, I just had a bad headache is all..." Lilith said.

"Are you sure? We can go back to the house and rest if yo-" Twilight said, interrupted by a squeaky little voice.

"Rest? That won't help at all! You need to hang out with us!" the squeaky voice said.

"That's right! Especially, since you don't have your cutie mark either!" a second southern voice said.

"Yeah! You need to show off your killer moves with us!" a third obnoxious voice said.

A trio of fillies squeezed through from behind Twilight and her friends.

"The Cutie Mark Crusaders!" the trio said.

Lilith stood there in confusion and was left flabbergasted by the odd entrance.

"I'm Sweetie Belle, that's Applebloom and Scootaloo, and we're on a quest to find out cutie marks!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Yeah! You can join us and together we'll all find our special talents together!" Scootaloo said.

"Me? You want me to join your group?" Lilith said.

"Of course! Any friend of mah sister is a good friend of mine!" Applebloom said.

"Yeah! Together nothing can stop us!" Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo said in unison.

Lilith stood there in awe as the three fillies invited her to join their group.

"I-I'll gladly join you guys!" Lilith said, as she rushed over to them.

"Great! Normally there'd be an initiation ceremony, but Scootaloo here hasn't finished revising it..." Sweetie Belle said.

"Hey! I'll get to it eventually, alright? It's hard to think of catchy words that go nice together," Scootaloo said.

"Yeah...Sure it is..." Sweetie Belle said, mockingly.

"Why you little! Don't make me-" Scootaloo said, interrupted.

"Anyway! Welcome to the CMC Lilith, glad to have you!" Applebloom said.

"Thanks! This is going to be so much fun!" Lilith said.

All four of the little fillies jumped around with excitement, who were then interrupted by Pinkie Pie.

"Alright everyone, times a wastin! And we have a lot of cake and dounuts to go through!" Pinkie declared. "So come on everypony! Let's get this party started!"

All of the ponies cheered with agreement, everyone started to either dance, go to the buffet, or simply converse and have fun. Surprisingly, Lilith spent more time with Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo than with Twilight. Either way, everyone had a blast and the party went all the way until nighttime. When everyone was tired and filled with all kinds of sweets and deserts, they started to leave and make they're departure back home. Except Pinkie, since she lived there after all.

"Thanks for the awesome party Pinkie," Rainbow Dash said, every other pony agreeing.

"Yeah, but now I gotta head home, those apples don't harvest themselves." Applejack said. "Bye Lilith, and welcome to the family!"

"Heh thanks..." Lilith said softly.

Applejack and the others walked out the door and left the building. The CMC followed behind them.

"Hey! Wanna hang out more tomorrow when we get out of school?" Scootaloo said.

"Of course! I'd love to!" Lilith said.

"Great! We'll come by the library after class is over, see ya till then!" Scootaloo said, leaving the building with the other crusaders.

"Well, I guess we'd better get home too, we've got another big day ahead of us Lilith," Twilight said. "Thanks for the party again Pinkie Pie, I really appreciate it!"

"No problem Twilight! I had a blast and ate so much cake!" Pinkie said. "You two come back again soon!"

"We will Pinkie, see ya." Twilight said, closing the door behind her and returning back to the library.

As Lilith and Twilight were walking away, Lilith noticed her scarf wasn't around her neck anymore.

"Wait a minute, Mom!" Lilith said. "I think I left that scarf you gave me inside. I'll be right back!"

"Oh, okay Lilith, don't take too long, I'll wait here for you," Twilight said.

Lilith trotted back to the building and opened the door. Closing it behind her, she walked into the room where the party was held and looked around for her scarf. After a few minutes of looking, she found it under a table with some icing on it.

"Oh man... I just got this too..." Lilith said. "Oh, well... it'll be fine."

Lilith was about to walk out when she was greeted by Pinkie Pie, emerging from behind the counter.

"Hi there! Forget something? It's fine it happens to me to!" Pinkie said. "Maybe more frequently than others!"

Lilith looked at the pink pony when her vision started to go from normal to psychotic once again, the noise and pain returning, as well as those voices in her head.

"This is your chance... she's alone... no one would ever know it was you..." the voices said.

Lilith's pupils started to convulse again and her head started to twitch.

"Hey listen, I know you've been through a lot, but it's going to get better trust me." Pinkie said. "Why don't I go get you some cupcakes for the road! That'll cheer you up!"

"Do you want to lose your mother again... then take this opportunity and do it!" the voices said.

"Wait here, I'll be right back!" Pinkie said, turning around and opening the oven, looking inside for any leftover cupcakes that weren't eaten.

"I... I don't wanna be alone again..." Lilith said.

"Then do what you have to do!..." the voices said. "GO NOW!"

Lilith, with only madness in her eyes, walked up behind Pinkie Pie and shoved her into the oven, closing it behind her.

"H-Hey! What are you doing Lilith!?" Pinkie said. "Let me out! Lilith!"

Lilith looked at the pink pony pleading for help. She only let out a soft laughter while looking at her. Lilith used her magic and turned the dial on the oven to it's highest setting.

"Lilith please! What are you doing!? Why are you doing this to me!?" Pinkie said, struggling to get out and beating on the oven door.

Lilith started to laugh more hysterically as she watch the pink pony get incinerated in the oven. With only muffled screams emitting from it, no one could hear Pinkie's cry for help.

"Lilith! Is everything okay in there? Pinkie didn't stop you for a cupcake eating contest did she?" Twilight asked, about to come inside.

Hearing Twilight's voice reverted the insane filly back to normal. Looking inside the oven, she noticed what she had done and only let out a snicker, content with what she had done. Lilith sprinted to the door before Twilight could enter the building.

"Sorry! Pinkie wanted to show me something, but I got my scarf and I'm all set!" Lilith said.

"Oh, okay then, let's go." Twilight said. "See ya Pinkie and thanks again!" Twilight yelled into the building, not being able to hear the muffled cries from the other room. She closed the door and departed back to the library with Lilith. As they arrived home, Lilith went upstairs and Twilight followed behind her.

"That was some day, right Lilith?" Twilight said. "Did you have fun with your new friends?"

"Definitely! I can't wait to hang out with them again tomorrow!" Lilith said, jumping into her bed.

"Well you better get some sleep, we have a lot of things to do tomorrow, don't forget we'll be enrolling you in school here and buying supplies for you," Twilight said. "Oh, and by the way, Spike won't be here for a while. He was called to Canterlot by request of Princess Celestia, so he'll be gone for some time."

"Oh, alright," Lilith said, getting under the covers.

"Well goodnight Lilith, see ya in the morning," Twilight said, turning off the lights and going downstairs read like she always does.

Lilith closed her eyes, happy that she made some new friends and that there is now one less pony who could take Twilight away from her...

Chapter 4: Silent Night

Having a pleasant sleep, Lilith was woken up by Twilight, who was speaking very fast and almost incomprehensibly.

"Lilith! Lilith, wake up!" Twilight said. "We have to head down to Sugarcube Corner right now!"

Lilith stood up in her bed, doing her usual morning stretches and proceeding to look at Twilight.

"Huh? Why are we going there? I thought you said you were going to enroll me in school toda-" Lilith said, interrupted.

"There's no time for that now! Something terrible might have happened to Pinkie Pie!" Twilight exclaimed.

Lilith's heart jumped, had Pinkie's body already been discovered? Did they know that she was the one who killed her? What would she do next? She stopped thinking about it and proceeded to respond to Twilight.

"O-Oh? What happened to her exactly? Do you know?" Lilith asked.

"No, I don't know what happened. All I know is that Applejack came by not too long ago and said something was going on at Sugarcube Corner," Twilight said. "The Cakes were cleaning up the mess from the party we had last night but noticed that the oven was sealed shut from extreme temperatures. They're trying to pry it open right now as we speak!"

"So what does that have to do with Pinkie Pie?" Lilith asked.

"They said they didn't find Pinkie in her room this morning, so I'm worried where she might be," Twilight said. "That's why we have to head over there right now."

"I guess if we have to," Lilith said.

Twilight and Lilith left the house shortly after their conversation and they arrived at Sugarcube Corner a few moments later. Walking inside, they went into the next room only to see Mr. Cake trying to pry open the oven with a crowbar and her friends, along with Mrs. Cake and the CMC, observing in discomfort.

"Twilight! Oh, thank goodness you made it!" Rarity said. "You didn't happen to see Pinkie at all on your way over here did you?"

"No I didn't, I don't know where she is and I'm really worried about her..." Twilight said, turning to look at Mr. Cake. "Can you at least see inside through the small window on the door?"

"N-No I can't, the window is charred and it's impossible to see anything inside." Mr. Cake said. "But it feels like there's something inside, if only the door wasn't sealed shut... how did this even happen?"

Mr. Cake continued to clench his teeth on the crowbar, forcing the door open, but to no avail.

"Here, I'll give you a hand with that." Rainbow Dash said, flying over and biting the crowbar in assistance.

"Hey, Lilith!" Scootaloo said, running towards her with Applebloom and Sweetie Belle following behind her. "Have any idea what's happening?"

"N-No, it's a real mystery right?" Lilith said.

"You can say that again, I wonder what's inside..." Sweetie Belle said.

Rainbow Dash and Mr. Cake began to pull back as hard as they could, trying to pry open the door. After a few unsuccessful attempts, the door finally budges.

"It's opening!" Mr. Cake said. "Just a little more!"

Lilith, watching in fear, knew what was coming. She only hoped that they wouldn't suspect her at all for the "murder". Mr. Cake and Rainbow Dash made one final pull, causing the crowbar to snap in half from the pressure, but also causing the over door to open... and along with that came Pinkie's lifeless body, falling out onto the ground completely charred, still sizzling from the intense heat trapped within the oven. Everyone gasped in terror at what they saw before they're eyes.

"I-Is that..." Applejack said. "P-Pinkie?"

"But... how? Who would do something like this!?" Rarity asked.

"No... no Pinkie... who did this to you..." Rainbow Dash said.

Fluttershy was unable to speak, seeing one of her best friends dead right in front of her scarred the yellow pony's mind immensely.

"I... I don't... how do I..." Twilight said, at a loss of words.

Everyone who had laid eyes on the poor pink pony began to mourn, tears flowing down their faces and hearts broken... except for Lilith, who laughed quietly to herself as she laid eyes on her work.

"Lilith..." Twilight said. "I'm so sorry..."

"S-Sorry? What are you sorry for?" Lilith said.

"You lost parents... and now you were witness to another death of a friend..." Twilight said.

Lilith saw this as a perfect way to not arouse suspicion to herself. She began to cry and hold Twilight close to her, sobbing and burying her face into her arm, pretending to be sad of course.

"Yes, yes... I'm so sorry that you had to relieve this... even when I promised I'd help you get your life back together..." Twilight said.

Lilith continued her act until Mr. Cake pulled himself together and began to speak.

"Well... I guess we'd better take her out of here..." Mr. Cake said, trying his hardest to hold back tears.

"I'll get started on preparing a funeral for her..." Mrs. Cake said sorrowfully.

They gently picked up Pinkie's body and brought her into another room, away from everyone else to see.

"This means there's a killer somewhere here in Ponyville..." Rainbow Dash said. "I don't believe it... why Pinkie... out of all the ponies..."

"Well... I don't know about you guys..." Applejack said. "But I'm gonna go on home now... I'm not feelin so good at the moment..."

"Yes, I'm afraid I'm at a loss for words at the moment..." Rarity said. "I'm going to go and retire to my house for now... please inform me when the funeral is ready..."

Both of the ponies walked out of the room and left the building, lacking the spirit to do anything else.

"Rainbow? What about you?" Twilight said.

"I... I don't know... I wanna find the person who did this to Pinkie but..." Rainbow Dash said. "I don't know... maybe I'll just head home for now like the others... I'll see you guys later..."

With that comment, Rainbow Dash flew out of the room and out to Cloudsdale. Sweetie Belle and the others then approached Lilith.

"Hey, um... Why don't we reschedule our plans? I don't think any of us are in the mood for crusading anyway..." Sweetie Belle said.

"Oh, uh, sure I suppose," Lilith said. "I'll see you guys later then."

"Yea see ya later," Scootaloo said, leaving the room with the others.

The only other pony left in the room besides Twilight... was Fluttershy, unable to cope with this, she sat there on the ground, still sobbing for the loss of her friend.

"Fluttershy... Come on now... Why don't you head home like the others? We all need to have some time to ourselves, you know?" Twilight said.

Fluttershy slowly looked up at Twilight and began to speak softly.

"She's gone Twilight... She's... She's gone..." Fluttershy said. "I don't know how to deal with this... Oh, Twilight..."

Twilight began to console Fluttershy, as she was clearly the one who was taking it the hardest.

"Tell you what Fluttershy, why don't me and Lilith come with you back home. We'll help you pull yourself together," Twilight said.

"Well...Alright I guess...Thanks, I really appreciate it..." Fluttershy said.

Lilith looked at the two of them together, her vision flickered between normal and psychotic once again. Her insanity, along with the voices, returning.

"Now it's her turn...You know what you have to do!" the voices said. "You must..."

"Lilith?" Twilight asked, returning Lilith to normal. "Are you ready to go?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm ready..." Lilith said.

"Alright, come on we have to help Fluttershy get home," Twilight said.

Twilight and Fluttershy left the room with Lilith following behind. Walking out of the building, they brought Fluttershy to her cottage. Twilight helped Fluttershy regain her sanity as best she could throughout the day. Lilith, who kept switching from sane to psychotic, only sat and observed the two together, angry at the fact that Fluttershy was hogging Twilight. They both stayed there until nightfall, where Fluttershy had recovered significantly from the passing of Pinkie.

"Oh, thank you Twilight, I really appreciate you helping me today," Fluttershy said. "I don't know what I would've done if you weren't here..."

"It's no problem Fluttershy, we're all devastated from the loss of Pinkie... but hopefully we'll all feel better in time," Twilight said.

"Yes I suppose you're right..." Fluttershy said. "Well, you two better head home, it's getting late and since there's a... killer somewhere in Ponyville... I don't think being outside at night is the best thing."

"Don't worry Fluttershy, we'll find out who did this to Pinkie that's for sure!" Twilight said. "For now though, we just need to give everyone time. I'll see you tomorrow Fluttershy."

"Okay, bye Twilight! Bye Lilith!" Fluttershy said, receding back into her cottage and closing the door.

"Come on Lilith, let's head home," Twilight said.

"Alright..." Lilith said.

Twilight and Lilith returned home after a very tiring walk.

"Alright Lilith, I'm sorry today didn't go as you expected it to," Twilight said. "I promise we'll start buying you your supplies and enrolling you in school soon."

Lilith climbed into bed and started to get under the covers.

"It's fine I suppose... I understand why Mom, you don't have to explain it," Lilith said.

"Try to get some sleep and we'll see if tomorrow is any better," Twilight said, turning off the lights upstairs. "I'm going to do some late night research downstairs okay?"

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow," Lilith said, turning on her side.

Twilight turned around and walked downstairs, sitting at her desk she began to research from many different books for a while. Upstairs, Lilith fell asleep for several hours... until she was woken up by all too familiar voices.

"Get up..." the voices said. "Now is the time..."

Lilith stood up in her bed, rubbing her eyes.

"Huh...what do you..." Lilith said, interrupted.

"Your mother is asleep...Take this opportunity...Use the cover of night to take the life of that pathetic pegasus..." the voices said.

Lilith crept up from bed, she looked down from the top floor to see Twilight, who had fallen asleep on her desk.

"Take this chance...Before your time with her ends..." the voices said.

Lilith's eyes and body returned to their psychotic state, twitching and whispering to herself.

"L-Lose her...No...No, no, no...I won't let it...Let it...Let it happen..." Lilith said.

"Then go... NOW!" the voices said.

Lilith proceeded to the door downstairs, being as quiet as she could. Making it downstairs, she opened the door and slipped out, closing it ever so quietly. Lilith then proceeded down the road to Fluttershy's cottage, breathing heavily and trembling on the way there. When she arrived, she walked up to the door, but instead of sneaking inside, she knocked on the door instead. A few minutes later, the door opened and she was greeted by a very tired, yellow pegasus.

"Huh...L-Lilith? What are you doing here at this time? Does Twilight know you're here?" Fluttershy asked.

Lilith was quiet, only staring at Fluttershy with bloody vision.

"Do...Do you wanna come inside?" Fluttershy asked.

Lilith remained silent, but walked into Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy, confused, closed the door and walked back with Lilith.

"So um...Why did you come here at this time? Is there something you need?" Fluttershy asked.

Lilith looked down at the ground.

"I-If there's something you need you have to tell me..." Fluttershy said.

Lilith looked back up at Fluttershy's face, but this time her eyes were nothing but pitch black. The only visible thing in her eyes were her small blood red pupils...Staring directly into Fluttershy's eyes. Feeling terrified now, Fluttershy backed up slowly, Lilith walking towards her.

"Y-You're um...Starting to scare me Lilith..." Fluttershy said. "I-If there's something I can do for you..."

Fluttershy backed up until she hit the wall behind her. Lilith stopping as well, continued to stare into Fluttershy's eyes.

"L-Lilith... you're..." Fluttershy said.

Lilith's horn started to glow, and she lifted Fluttershy into the air, applying extreme pressure to her body.

"L-Lilith! W-What are you..." Fluttershy said, gasping for air as she could feel bones snapping and organs bursting. Before Fluttershy could let out a cry for help, Lilith tapped her mouth shut. Bones started to spike out of Fluttershy's body and blood raced down onto the floor. Only tears and muffled screams were emitted from the pegasus's body as she was crushed by Lilith. Angel, Fluttershy's pet bunny, however, had just witnessed what Lilith had done and made a dash to the door. Before Angel could escape, Lilith noticed this and dropped Fluttershy on the ground, picking Angel up with her magic.

Bringing the scared bunny closer to her, she ripped one of Fluttershy's ribs out of her body and impaled Angel through the chest, causing him to die on impact. Lilith, seeing Fluttershy is still alive, grabbed some rope and her mane and dragged her outside, leaving a trail of blood behind her. Lilith dragged Fluttershy into the Everfree Forest, stopping a few feet in after entering. Lilith took the rope and knotted it into a noose and tied it around a tree branch hovering over the path. She lifted the crying pony with her magic and stuck her head through the opening. Fluttershy, crying and covered in blood, let out a few more muffled screams, until her body ceased moving and hung there.

Lilith looked up at what she had done, bursting into silent laughter. She thought to herself, maybe should could make this look like something else...Lilith walked back into Fluttershy's cottage, dipping her hoof into the pool of blood on the ground. She then walked towards the wall and wrote a "suicide" message. Wiping her hoof, she proceeded outside and closed the door. Lilith looked up at the sky, she could see storm clouds forming, which meant it was about to rain. Lilith loved this, the rain would wash away the trail of blood outside leading into the forest, she continued to laugh hysterically.

"It is done...Another is gone...One less trouble to worry about now..." the voices said.

"Heh heh heh...I won't let her take you Mom from me...I won't let anyone...Heh heh..." Lilith said.

Since Lilith had done what she came to do, she reverted back to her "normal" self. Her eyes and mind returned to "normal" and she started to proceed back home, looking back and laughing to herself. Still dark out, Lilith returned home and quietly opened the door, seeing Twilight still asleep on her desk. She came in and shut the door, returning to her bed as if nothing ever happened. As she went under her covers, she closed her eyes, happily drifting off into sleep once more...

Chapter 5: Requiem For a Rainbow

Lilith, sound asleep in her bed as always every morning, was awoken by Twilight once more.

"Lilith," Twilight said. "It's time to get up sweetie."

Lilith stood up in her bed and rubbed her eyes.

"Oh, good morning mommy, what are we doing today?" Lilith asked.

"Well, I think today is the day where we finally enroll you in school," Twilight said. "But first I want to take a quick visit to Fluttershy's house, just to see if she's been taking it easy."

Lilith's body froze, she didn't expect Twilight to want to return to Fluttershy's house so quickly.

"O-Oh... really? Are you sure? I-I'm sure she's fine mom," Lilith said. "She might look fragile but I'm sure she can handle herself."

"I don't wanna take any chances, don't worry it won't be for too long," Twilight said.

"Well... alright then I suppose..." Lilith said.

Lilith got out of bed and walked down the stairs with Twilight, picking up her scarf and wrapping it around her neck. They left the house and departed towards Fluttershy's cottage. When they arrived, they noticed Rainbow Dash knocking on Fluttershy's door.

"Hi there Rainbow Dash," Twilight said. "What brings you here this early in this morning?"

Rainbow Dash turned around, a little surprised by Twilight and Lilith.

"Oh hi Twilight, hi Lilith," Rainbow Dash said. "I wanted to come and see if Fluttershy was alright y'know? I mean she's definitely the one who took Pinkie's death the hardest..."

"I know, I was with her all day yesterday trying to console her, hopefully she's feeling better today," Twilight said. "Is she home?"

"I don't know, I've been knocking on her door for some time now but she hasn't answered," Rainbow Dash said. "You think she's alright?"

"She might still be sleeping," Twilight said, putting her hoof on the doorknob and noticing it was unlocked. "Let's go in and see how she's doing, I want to make sure she's alright."

"Good idea," Rainbow Dash said.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash slowly opened the door, Lilith stood behind them sweating, hoping that she didn't leave anything behind that would point to her doing it. When Twilight and Rainbow Dash entered Fluttershy's cottage, they stood there frozen and speechless. Blood splattered on the walls and floor, covering the entire interior of the house.

"W-What is this!?" Twilight said. "What happened here!?"

"No... no not Fluttershy... this... this can't be happening..." Rainbow Dash said. "Why her... out of everyone... why her..."

"But... where is she? She's gotta be around here somewhere!" Twilight said. "Lilith, you stay back and don't touch anything, I'm going to have a look around."

Lilith nodded her head in agreement, pretending to look depressed and scared. Twilight looked around intensely, seeing if there was anything that could explain what happened here. She scoured the house until she found the body of Angel, with one of Fluttershy's bones impaled through his chest.

"Oh my... Angel..." Twilight said. "Who is doing this... Why are they doing it!"

Twilight was about to break down into tears but looked up and noticed something had been written on the wall in blood.

"Huh?" Twilight said. "Rainbow come over here, there's something written here on the wall."

Rainbow Dash went over to Twilight, who started to read the message.

"I can't take this anymore... I'm sorry Angel... and I'm sorry to all my friends... but I just can't fathom the loss of Pinkie anymore... I'm sorry for this... goodbye... my friends..."

"She... took her own life?" Lilith said.

"I... I can't believe Fluttershy would do something like this..." Twilight said. "She never looked like the type who woul-"

"NO!" Rainbow Dash said. "There's gotta be something we're missing! We have to keep looking!"

"Rainbow I don't think there's anything else to go on an-" Twilight said, interrupted.

"KEEP LOOKING!" Rainbow Dash said. "There has to be something we missed! This doesn't make sense!"

Twilight noticed Rainbow crying as she was yelling at her, so she decided to continue looking around the house. After a few minutes, Twilight had noticed that a trail of blood had led outside, but stopped at the doorway.

"Hmm that's odd..." Twilight said.

"What? What did you find!?" Rainbow Dash said.

"There's a trail of blood that leads outside, but it stops right here at the door... it doesn't make any sense," Twilight said.

"Well, don't forget we had a thunderstorm last night," Rainbow Dash said. "That could have washed away whatever trail was left outside!"

"Oh you're right Rainbow!" Twilight said. "Here, let me try something."

Twilight's horn started to glow, and the trail on the ground started to faintly reappear before their eyes.

"There it is!" Twilight said. "Come on Rainbow and Lilith this way!"

Twilight followed the trail out of Fluttershy's cottage and into the entrance of the Everfree Forest.

"The Everfree Forest? Why would she go all this way just to..." Twilight said, interrupted.

"Come on Twilight keep moving!" Rainbow Dash said, flying ahead of her into the forest.

"Rainbow Dash wait! Come on Lilith, stay close to me okay?" Twilight said.

"Oh um alright..." Lilith said, her heart racing as they got closer and closer to Fluttershy's body.

Twilight sprinted down the path, trying her best to catch up with Rainbow Dash. She kept running until she noticed Rainbow Dash sitting in the middle of the path, her mouth wide open and tears rushing down her face.

"Rainbow! What is it? What did yo-" Twilight said, looking up at the branches. "Oh no... Fluttershy..."

Twilight and Rainbow Dash had found Fluttershy's body, hanging on a branch overlooking the path. Her body covered in dried blood and maimed with bones projecting from her body. Rainbow Dash wiped the tears from her eyes, her sorrow had now changed to anger instead.

"No... no there's no way this is a suicide!" Rainbow Dash said.

"How can you tell Rainbow? I mean it's not like we have much to go on an-" Twilight said, interrupted.

"Look at her Twilight! If she really was going to off herself, she wouldn't go through all this trouble to do so! She has her bones ripped from her body and is covered in blood!" Rainbow Dash said. "I know she was murdered, there's no doubt in my mind about that and it's obviously the same person who killed Pinkie!"

"Well, what should we do?" Twilight said.

"I don't know about you, but there's no time for mourning now." Rainbow Dash said. "I'm going to find out who did this and I won't stop until I do!"

Rainbow Dash then flew away into the sky and into town. Twilight observed Fluttershy's body, realizing that Rainbow was right, there wasn't anymore time for sulking. She had to get to the bottom of this and find out who was going around killing her friends.

"Come on Lilith, we have to get back to the library. I need to start researching ways on how to look for evidence and how to track down ponies." Twilight said.

"But... I thought you said you we're going to enroll me in school today..." Lilith said.

"Does it look like I have time for that right now!? Two of my best friends have been murdered already and you're only worried about school!? Do you not understand what's happening!?" Twilight yelled, breathing heavily.

Lilith backed up a little, feeling hurt, she sat down and started to cry quietly to herself.

"I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to yell at you like that..." Twilight said. "It's just... I don't know what's happening anymore... and it's killing me..."

Twilight walked over to Lilith and hugged her tightly.

"I promise... all of this will be over soon..." Twilight said.

"A-Alright then..." Lilith said, wiping the tears from her eyes. "I guess we should head back..."

"Yea, come on let's hurry..." Twilight said.

Twilight and Lilith left the Everfree Forest and returned home. Twilight then got as many books as she could find on the subject and began researching the entire day. Lilith sat there on the floor, bored, since Twilight told her it was too dangerous to be outside by yourself when there's a killer on the loose. Twilight studied all the way until nightfall, finding as much information as she could that would help her.

"Alright Lilith, it's pretty late now, you should head on up to bed," Twilight said.

"Okay mom, what about you? Are you coming to bed too?" Lilith said.

"No, I'm going out to meet with Applejack and Rarity to discuss this whole thing. Since I don't know where Rainbow is at the moment, I'll have to talk to her later," Twilight said. "I'll be back in the morning, try to get some sleep okay?"

"Oh... well alright then." Lilith said, going upstairs and climbing into bed. "Please be careful, like you said it's not safe to be out this late..."

"I'll be fine Lilith. I'll see you later." Twilight said, leaving and closing the door behind her.

Lilith sighed and set her head down on her pillow. She yawned and then closed her eyes, drifting off into sleep once more... or so she thought...

"Get up!... You have to do this now!..." The Voices said.

Lilith opened her eyes and quickly stood up in her bed.

"Huh?... W-What?" Lilith said.

"That cyan one is on to you... it's only a matter of time before she discovers you..." The Voices said. "That is unless you want to be separated from your mother again..."

Lilith devolved into her psychotic state once more, whispering to herself again.

"W-What should I do... Where is she... H-How will I find her..." Lilith said.

"She's retired back to her home in Cloudsdale... exhausted from searching all day... take advantage of her fatigue and finish her..." The Voices said.

Lilith laughed to herself and got out of bed, walking downstairs to main room. She built up magic in her horn until it reached it's peak, releasing it and teleporting herself to Cloudsdale. Since Lilith was a spirit, she didn't have to be a pegasus to walk on the clouds. She then proceeded to quietly scour the neighborhood for Rainbow Dash's home, which was easy to find since her cutie mark was etched on the door.

"I guess this is her place..." Lilith said.

Lilith knocked on the door and after a few minutes, a very tired cyan pegasus opened the door. Rainbow rubbed her eyes and made sure that what she was seeing was real.

"L-Lilith? What are you doing here? How are you even up here!?" Rainbow Dash said.

Just as Rainbow Dash started asking questions, Lilith got an idea, and pretended to panic and plead for help.

"Twilight taught me the spell to walk on clouds but that isn't important! She and the others are in grave danger! You have to help them please!" Lilith said, throwing in some tears to make it more believable.

"What!? Then what are we waiting for! Come on show me where they are!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Let's go! This way!" Lilith said, leading Rainbow Dash towards the edge of the cloud and stopping when close.

"Huh? Why did you stop? Where are they?" Rainbow Dash said.

Lilith lifted her hoof up and pointed straight ahead. Rainbow Dash turned around and looked for whatever it was that Lilith was pointing at.

"What is it? I don't see anything..." Rainbow Dash said.

With Rainbow's back turned, a long smile appeared on Lilith's face. Using her magic, she ripped Rainbow Dash's wings off her back. Rainbow fell on her back, screaming with blood rushing down her back. She looked up at Lilith, whose eyes were pure black, only illuminated by those blood red pupils.

"I-It... it was... it was you this whole time... you're the one whose been... killing everyone... Pinkie Pie... Fluttershy..." Rainbow Dash said, gritting her teeth from the unbearable pain.

"Hehehehe... Yea, it's me... congratulations... now you know..." Lilith said.

"How... How could you do this... what did we ever do to you..." Rainbow Dash said.

"I don't like you, or anyone, getting too close with my mother... she belongs to me now... and I won't let anyone take her away from me..." Lilith said.

"You're... you're insane... you'll never get away with this..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Hehehehe... it's really too bad... you found out who it was in the end... such a shame you won't be able to tell anyone..." Lilith said. "Goodbye Rainbow Dash... Hehehehe..."

Lilith walked up to Rainbow Dash and kicked her off the cloud, sending her plummeting down to Earth. Hearing Rainbow scream as she fell, made Lilith relish what she did even more.

"It had to be done... she was an obstacle to you... nothing more..." The Voices said.

Lilith returned to "normal" once more and thought about what to do next.

"Hmm... I'd better get back home, if mom comes back and finds out I'm not there... things could turn out very badly..." Lilith said.

Lilith's horn glowed, and she teleported back to the library, looking around to see if Twilight had returned for any reason, but luckily she was still gone.

"Good, she hasn't come back," Lilith said. "I'd better go back to bed, don't wanna take any chances."

Lilith climbed into bed and got under her covers, laid her head down, and happily drifted off into sleep once more...

Twilight's Perspective

____________________________________

Twilight had managed to get Applejack and then went to meet up with Rarity at the Carousal Boutique to discuss they're thoughts on the situation.

"Alright girls, what do you think's going on around here?" Twilight said.

"Isn't it obvious? Somepony's going around and killing our friends!" Rarity said.

"No duh Rarity, she means who do you think is the one that's been committing these murders." Applejack said.

"Oh um well... I'm not sure honestly... I don't know of anyone that would have something against us..." Rarity said.

"Well there's gotta be somebody! Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are gone and I'm losing my mind just thinking about it!" Twilight said.

"Yea... you told us that earlier... can't believe anyone would have something against that pony..." Applejack said.

"Where is Rainbow Dash? Did you not invite her?" Rarity said.

"Rainbow flew off somewhere to investigate herself, after seeing Fluttershy's dead body... she just lost it..." Twilight said.

"Hey um... Twilight..." Applejack said. "Listen... there's something I gotta say."

"What is it?" Twilight said.

"Well... you said you found Lilith walking down the road at night a few days ago right?" Applejack said.

"Yeah," Twilight said. "What about it?"

"Well... doesn't it seem strange that all these deaths occurred right after you found her?" Applejack said.

"...What are you trying to say?" Twilight said.

"Tell me, weren't you and Lilith the last ones to leave the party?" Applejack said.

"Yes we were, but that doesn't mean anything! So what if we were the last ones to leave?" Twilight said.

"Did Lilith go back inside for any reason as you were leaving?" Applejack said.

"Well... she did go back inside to get the scarf that she'd forgotten..." Twilight said.

"Wasn't Pinkie Pie the only other pony in there?..." Applejack said.

"I'm gonna stop you right there Applejack, I can't believe that you're suspecting Lilith as the killer! I mean... she only a little filly!" Twilight said.

"What about Fluttershy! Didn't you go over to her cottage with Lilith to her console her?" Applejack said. "She was the only other one with you at the time!"

"I can't believe you Applejack... what you're saying is absolutely insane... there is no way that Lilith could be a murderer! Absolutely no way!" Twilight said.

"I'm sorry Twilight, but right now... my gut is telling me that it's that little filly of yours..." Applejack said.

"Rarity!? What about you!? You can't possibly think it's Lilith too!?" Twilight said.

"Well dear... Applejack does make some interesting points... and we don't really have anyone else to go on... so I'm going to have to agree with her on this... I'm sorry Twilight," Rarity said.

"I can't believe you two! I don't know what to even say to you at this point! To think that you would suspect such an innocent..." Twilight said, pausing as she could hear faint screaming outside.

"Hey... do you guys here that?" Applejack said.

"It sounds like it's coming from outsi-" Rarity said, interrupted by a loud crash that came from the roof, and hearing it slide down onto the ground.

"What in tarnation was that!?" Applejack said.

"Come on girls!" Twilight said, racing towards the doors with Rarity and Applejack following behind her.

When Twilight and her friends got outside, their hearts sank as they saw a wingless, cyan pony bleeding on the ground.

"RAINBOW DASH!" They all said in unison, and rushed towards their dying friend.

"Rainbow Dash! What happened!? W-Who did this to you!? Please answer us!" Twilight said.

Rainbow Dash moved her head slightly and looked at Twilight, trying to muster up whatever strength she had left to speak.

"Twi... Twilight..." Rainbow Dash said. "It... it was..."

Rainbow Dash, with her dying words, was unable to tell Twilight and her friends the truth of what was happening. The three of them looked at Rainbow's body, rather than being sad, they we're angry and irritated.

"Twilight..." Applejack said. "Where is Lilith now..."

"S-She's at home sleeping..." Twilight said.

"Twilight... Lilith was the only other one with you when you found Fluttershy... There's no doubt in my mind anymore... It's gotta b-" Applejack said, interrupted.

"NO! NO IT'S NOT! I'M GOING TO GO HOME AND PROVE TO YOU SHE'S STILL THERE! ASLEEP IN HER BED LIKE SHE SHOULD BE AT THIS TIME!" Twilight said. "Please just... just take Rainbow's body and give her a proper burial... and don't mention a word of this to anyone yet..."

Twilight bolted to her house, hoping to prove Applejack wrong. When she arrived, she went inside and crept up the stairs, hoping to see Lilith asleep in her bed. Moving closer and closer to Lilith's bed, she used her horn to create a spark of light and then, let out a sigh of relief to see her sound asleep.

"Oh thank goodness, I knew she could never do something so terrible..." Twilight said, waking Lilith up.

"H-Huh?... mom... what are you doing back? I thought you said you weren't coming back till morning," Lilith said. "Did something happen?"

"O-Oh no, no dear nothing's wrong, I just wanted to make sure you were safe is all," Twilight said. "Go on go back to sleep, sorry for waking you, I'll be back later okay?"

"Oh alright... I'll see you later then..." Lilith said, turning on her side and going back to sleep.

Twilight went back downstairs and left the the house again to return to Rarity and Applejack, while Lilith continued to sleep soundly in her bed as she always does...

Chapter 6: Beautiful Lies

Lilith, just like every morning, was asleep in bed. She was woken up when she heard the door downstairs open. She got out of bed and went downstairs to see that Twilight had finally returned.

"Hi, Mom!" Lilith exclaimed. "You're finally back! Is everything alright?"

"Oh, good morning Lilith...Yes everything is alright," Twilight said. "I'm just a bit tired from being out all night..."

"Then, you should get some sleep, I know you have a lot on your mind right now, but you can't force yourself," Lilith said. "Come on, I'll help you into bed."

"Thanks Lilith...Maybe you're right, a little break from all this is sure to calm my nerves," Twilight said.

Lilith walked Twilight upstairs and helped her into the top bunk. Just as Twilight was about to lie down, they heard someone knocking on the door downstairs.

"Don't worry, I'll get it," Lilith said.

Lilith walked downstairs and opened the door. She was happy to be greeted by none other than her friends.

"Hi Lilith!" Scootaloo said. "Are ya busy today?"

"We thought we'd come and get you so we could all head over to Sweet Apple Acres and play some games in the orchard!" Applebloom said.

"Yeah! Doesn't that sound like fun?" Sweetie Belle said.

"I'd love to come you guys, but my mom hasn't been feeling well lately, so I think I'll stay home today," Lilith said.

"Awww, are you sure?" Scootaloo asked.

"Yea, I'm really sorry you guys, maybe next ti-" Lilith said, pausing mid sentence.

"No!...Go with them...That orange pony knows too much... she already suspects it's you..." the voices said. "Go with your friends...take this chance to silence her once and for all..."

Lilith stood there with her eyes closed and rubbed her head in discomfort.

"Hey, Lilith? You alright?" Scootaloo asked.

"Huh? What?" Lilith said. "Oh, um, yeah...Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it."

"Well, I guess we'll hang out some other time then, see ya later Lilith," Applebloom said, turning to walk away with her fellow crusaders.

"W-Wait!" Lilith said. "On second thought... I don't think my mom would mind if I went out. I'd be happy to join you guys!"

"Really!? Great!" Scootaloo said.

"Just let me go and tell her I'm going out," Lilith said.

"Alright, we'll wait here for you," Sweetie Belle said.

Lilith turned around and walked upstairs to tell Twilight of her departure.

"Hey, Mom?" Lilith asked. "Are you awake?"

"Hmm? What is it, Lilith?" Twilight said. "Who was at the door?"

"It was Sweetie Belle and the others. I was wondering if I could go out and play with them for a bit," Lilith said.

"Of course you can, just be careful okay? There's still a killer on the loose somewhere..." Twilight said.

"I'll be alright," Lilith said. "I'll see you later okay?"

"Okay, have fun," Twilight said.

Lilith walked back downstairs and joined her friends.

"You ready?" Scootaloo said.

"Yep!" Lilith said. "Let's go!"

Lilith closed the door to the library and the four friends proceeded to go to Sweet Apple Acres. On their way over there, they passed by the Carousal Boutique and Lilith overheard a conversation from the inside. She peered in through the window, only to see Rarity and Applejack talking.

"...I can't believe it's Lilith whose been killing everyone..." Rarity said.

"It's gotta be, who else could it be?" Applejack said.

"I don't know...It just seems so unlikely...A small little filly, such as herself, is a murderer?" Rarity said.

"That's why it's the perfect cover, no one would ever suspect her..." Applejack said. "Well, she can't fool me... there's no doubt in my mind that it's her, we just gotta find a way to get Twilight to believe us..."

"If you say so..." Rarity said.

"Well I gotta run a few errands first, I'll be done in about an hour or so," Applejack said. "Come to meeting place when you're ready."

"Alright, I'll be there." Rarity said.

Applejack walked out of the building, oblivious to Lilith's presence, she continued on into town. Lilith, thinking about what to do next, found herself in a very bad situation. She had to find out about this "meeting place" that Applejack talked about.

"Hey! Lilith! What are you doing back there?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Come on! Hurry up so we can go!"

"Um...you three go on ahead, I need to do something first," Lilith said. "I promise I'll catch up with you."

"If you say so," Sweetie Belle said. "Come on guys."

Sweetie Belle and the others continued down to Sweet Apple Acres, leaving Lilith behind.

"This is bad...You have to stop them from meeting up...It'll mean the end for you..." the voices said. "Go inside...Get the information out of the white unicorn..."

Lilith's eyes flickered between "normal" and psychotic. She then approached the door to the Carousal Boutique to confront Rarity.

"Welcome to Carousal Boutique!... How may I help yo-" Rarity said. "O-Oh... Lilith...Why, hello there darling! Is there something that you needed?..."

"I just wanted to see if you're...Alright is all," Lilith said. "You know with there being a killer on the loose and what not..."

"Oh...Yes, thank you...I appreciate you checking up on me...It really means a lot!" Rarity said, nervously.

"So tell me Rarity...Who do you think is the killer?" Lilith asked.

"W-Who do I think?...Well, um, you see...I...I don't really have an idea at the moment actually..." Rarity said, slowly backing up. "It... could be anyone, you know?"

"Really?...I don't think you're being entirely honest with me..." Lilith said, walking closer to Rarity.

"W-What ever do you mean darling? I honestly don't have the slightest idea..." Rarity said.

"Oh, I hope you're not lying to me...Bad things happen to ponies who lie to me..." Lilith said, giggling to herself and her horn starting to glow.

"W-What are you doing...Lilith I-" Rarity said, as she was knocked unconscious from a whack to the head from behind with an object that Lilith was holding up with her magic.

Lilith dragged Rarity's body into her bedroom and locked the door behind her. Throwing her body on the bed and tying each of her hooves to a corner, leaving her body stretched out. After about ten minutes, Rarity started to regain consciousnesses and through her blurred vision, looked around at her surroundings. The room was dark, windows had been blocked so no sunlight could reach inside. The only illumination was a few candles placed around the room.

"Ugh...My head...What happened?" Rarity asked, trying to move her arms and legs, but to no avail. "W-What the...What is this!? Where am I!?"

"Why, you're in your bedroom of course..." Lilith said, walking forward from the shadows. "Are you comfortable?"

"Comfortable? Y-You've tied me to my bed! How could I be comfortable!?" Rarity yelled.

"Oh...That's too bad...and after I went through such trouble to make sure you were..." Lilith said, turning around and walking towards a chest.

"Applejack was right...It was you the entire time..." Rarity said.

"Yes... I'm sure that's quite obvious now, isn't it?..." Lilith said, opening the chest which contained a bunch of jewels.

"W-What are you going to do to me..." Rarity said.

Lilith reached inside the chest and picked up a diamond-shaped amethyst. She turned around to look at Rarity, her eyes transformed once more, completely blackened with small, blood-red pupils.

"I just want you to talk is all..." Lilith said, walking towards Rarity and sitting next to her.

"My goodness...Those eyes of yours...What are you?..." Rarity asked.

Lilith giggled to herself.

"That's not important...I want you to tell me where you're meeting with Applejack..." Lilith said, playing with the amethyst in her hooves.

"Why?...So you can maim her too!?" Rarity asked.

"Precisely...See, you catch on fast..." Lilith said.

"Forget it! I'd rather you take my life right here and now then sell out one of my friends!" Rarity said.

Lilith stopped playing, she held the amethyst in both hooves and stared at it.

"Oh...That's a shame...I was really hoping we could do this the easy way..." Lilith said.

Lilith stood up and showed Rarity the amethyst.

"Look...It matches your mane...So beautifully..." Lilith said, taking the amethyst and shoving it through Rarity's right eye, gouging it out and splattering blood everywhere. Rarity screamed at the top of her lungs, the pain was excruciating. She had never felt anything so unbearable before.

"Scream all you want...I've casted a spell around this room specifically...No one is coming to you're rescue..." Lilith said. "The sooner you talk, the sooner this will all be over for you..."

"I...I'd never sell out my friends...Never..." Rarity said.

"Then, let's test that shall we?..." Lilith said, getting another amethyst from the chest and returning to Rarity. "I wonder just how much you can take..."

Lilith shoved the amethyst in Rarity's stomach, slowly cutting it all around. Rarity screamed in agony, tears rushing down her face as blood flew out of her body with every cut.

"Ready to talk yet?..." Lilith asked.

"I...I won't..." Rarity said.

"Hmm, suit yourself...I can make this as slow as possible..." Lilith said. "Oh... I just got an idea..."

Lilith brought the amethyst back down to her stomach and started to cut deeper.

"Why don't we take a look inside of you..." Lilith said, starting to cut Rarity's torso open.

Every cut Lilith made caused Rarity to scream even louder. It was just too much for the unicorn to handle.

"A-Alright! Alright! I'll talk! Just please stop! I-I can't take anymore!..." Rarity yelled, sobbing.

"That's the response I was looking for..." Lilith said, withdrawing the amethyst from Rarity's body. "Now... where are you meeting her?..."

"...We promised to meet in the barn at Sweet Apple Acres in exactly one hour... She wanted to discuss of ways to persuade Twilight..." Rarity said.

Lilith became angry, grabbing Rarity's mane and pulling her head towards her.

"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME! I'LL MAKE SURE SHE NEVER LEAVES MY SIDE!" Lilith yelled, releasing Rarity's mane and exhaling. "...Anyway...Thank you for the information..."

"So...Are you going to...Let me go now?" Rarity said. "I-I've told you everything I know!"

"Let you go? My dear, if I let you go you'll just go on and blab all this to mother..." Lilith said. "No...No I'm afraid I can't let that happen."

"P-Please! I promise I won't say anything! I don't want to die yet! Please don't kill me!" Rarity cried.

"Oh, how I wish I could believe you...But, unfortunately for you...Your time is up," Lilith said. "Tell you what...Because you were...Somewhat cooperative with me...I'll make you're death quick and painless."

Lilith held the amethyst in her hood, jumped up on the bed and stood over Rarity's body. She then held Rarity's head still with one hoof and placed the amethyst on her neck with the other.

"N-No! Please don't do this! I promise! I promise I won't say anything! Don't kill m-" Rarity said, interrupted.

"Goodbye Rarity..." Lilith said, driving the amethyst across Rarity's neck and slitting her throat. Rarity's head fell back as her lifeless body laid there, blood pouring out of her neck. Lilith set the amethyst on her chest and jumped down to the ground, wiping off whatever blood she got on herself.

"Now...Head to Sweet Apple Acres...Time is of the essence..." the voices said.

Lilith's eyes had returned to "normal", but since she still had her mindset on murdering another, she remained in her psychotic state as she left the building and headed down to Sweet Apple Acres. When she arrived, she noticed the CMC sitting next to the barn, all bored waiting for her.

"There you are!" Scootaloo said. "We've been waiting forever! Where were you!?"

"S-Sorry guys... Rarity wanted me to help her with something...I thought it'd be quick, but it took a bit longer than I expected..." Lilith said.

"Yeah, my sister tends to do that a lot. It's alright though!" Sweetie Belle said. "The point is you're here now! So what should we do?"

The three fillies started to discuss what activity they would do next. Lilith looked back and noticed Applejack arriving at the gates.

"H-Hey guys! I got an idea, why don't we play some hide-and-seek?" Lilith said. "I'll count while you guys hide."

"Alright!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Sounds like a plan to me!" Scootaloo said.

"Mhmm!" Applebloom said.

"Okay then...Here we go!" Lilith said. "1...2...3..."

Scootaloo and the others flustered around and took off to find hiding spots off in the orchards. Lilith stopped counting and looked around to make sure they were gone. She peered around the corner and noticed Applejack getting closer, so she ran around to the back entrance and went inside the barn. It was windy outside and dark clouds could be seen coming in from the distance. Lilith waited inside until the barn doors crept open...And the orange pony that she had been waiting for came walking in. Applejack, who was expecting Rarity, was in complete dismay when she came face-to-face with the one she'd hope to expose.

"Lilith!? What in the world are you doing here!?" Applejack asked. "How did you even kno-"

"Applejack..." Lilith said, using her magic to close the door behind Applejack. "It's so good to finally see you...Why don't we have a little chat...?"

Final Chapter: A Painful Truth

Applejack stood there, staring at Lilith. She knew what she was here to do.

"...Where's Rarity?..." Applejack asked.

"I'm afraid Rarity won't be joining us..." Lilith said, giggling.

"Ah always had my suspicions about you... ever since Pinkie's unusual death," Applejack said. "I knew something just wasn't right about you..."

"Well it looks like you were right..." Lilith said. "It's a shame though that it took you so long so confirm those suspicions...You could have prevented some of those deaths..."

"Ah wanted to be absolutely sure it was you," Applejack said. "But ah guess ah did wait too long..."

Lilith continued to giggle to herself, only infuriating Applejack even more.

"Ah know what you're here to do...But let me ask you one thing," Applejack said. "Why are you doing this? What did any of us ever do to you?"

"You didn't do anything...I just wanted to make sure that none of you guys would take my mom away from me!" Lilith said.

"Take her away from you? What are you talking about!? Twilight is our friend and it's perfectly normal for friends to hang out with each other right?" Applejack asked. "Things would have great for all of us if you only saw that befor-"

"Don't you lie to me! I know you've been planing to take her away from me since the first time we MET!" Lilith said, stopping her hoof on the ground, eyes returning to their black and red state.

"Your...Your eyes... Lilith what are you?" Applejack asked.

"...I died a while ago...I've been searching for my mom for longer than you can imagine...And I finally found her," Lilith said, her voice breaking. "...And I'll be damned if you think I'll let you take her AWAY FROM ME!"

Lilith's horn glowed and she started to pull Applejack towards her.

"Hehehehe...How should I kill you I wonder...I could do it slowly and oh so painfully...Or, I could give you a break like I did with Rarity and make it quick and painless..." Lilith said, debating with herself on the right killing method.

Instead of trying to resist Lilith's pull, she raced towards her, and with extra momentum from her magic. Applejack tackled Lilith and pinned her to the ground.

"Lilith stop this! Nothing good has come from your actions!" Applejack said, trying to get through to Lilith.

"Get...OFF OF ME" Lilith said, shoving Applejack off her body.

Before Applejack was thrown off, she bit Lilith's scarf and tore a small piece of it off her neck. Applejack fell back on the ground and held the piece of the scarf firmly in her hoof. Lilith, oblivious to what Applejack took, jumped on top of her before she could get back up.

"It's over for you Applejack...It was a valiant effort though..." Lilith said, laughing.

"Laugh all you want you little demon...You'll never get away with any of this..." Applejack said, struggling to get up.

"Oh...I'm afraid I've already gotten away with four deaths... What makes you think I can't get away with a fifth?..." Lilith inquired.

Lilith looked around at her surroundings, she noticed there was a large wooden beam above them.

"Hmm...That'll work nicely..." Lilith said.

Applejack looked up and knew what Lilith was planning to do. Lilith used her magic to hold Applejack down on the ground. She got off Applejack and moved away.

"Lilith, come on now! Y-You don't have to do this! Ah promise we can sort this out some other way just don-" Applejack said.

Lilith, completely ignoring Applejack's words, used her magic to break the supports above, while still holding her down. The broken supports caused the beam to collapse down on top of Applejack, shattering her torso from the chest down. Before she could let out a blood curdling scream, Lilith ran over and covered her mouth with her hoof, letting only quiet and muffled cries escape. As Applejack laid in a pool of her own blood, she took one look at Lilith, raised her hoof in an attempt to reach out for her...And closed her eyes, her head falling to the ground.

"Everyone has now been dealt with...How does it feel to have nothing to worry about anymore?..." the voices asked.

"Hehehe...It's great...Now nothing will be able separate us..." Lilith said, laughing quietly to herself.

"Hey! Lilith! Are you alright!? We heard a loud crash coming the barn so we thought you migh-" Scootaloo said, cringing in fear as she saw Applejack's crushed body. "W-What in the world!? L-Lilith...What did you do!?"

Lilith turned around, scaring the three fillies with her black and red eyes. She had completely forgotten they were in the area.

"APPLEJACK!" Applebloom yelled, trying to run towards her, but was being held back by her friends. "LET ME GO DANG IT! LET ME GO!"

"Applebloom stop it! You can't go near Lilith now!" Scootaloo said, trying her best to restrain Applebloom.

Applebloom stopped struggling and fell to the floor, tears rushing down her face.

"You...You're the murderer...You've been the one killing everyone haven't you..." Sweetie Belle said. "Does that mean... Rarity is..."

Lilith looked down at the ground, silent. Sweetie Belle fell to the floor, putting her hooves over her eyes and crying hysterically. Scootaloo then approached Lilith, staring directly into her psychotic eyes.

"Does this mean...That Rainbow Dash is gone too..." Scootaloo said.

Lilith looked up at Scootaloo and nodded.

"...I thought you were our friend..." Scootaloo said. "I thought we could trust you..."

Lilith's heart sank, she did see the CMC as her friends after all. It never crossed her mind that she would have to deal with them as well.

"I...I didn't mean t-" Lilith said, interrupted.

"SHUT UP!" Scootaloo said. "Don't say anything! There's nothing that could possibly say to fix anything!"

Lilith looked at the ground, tears starting to form in her dead eyes.

"You're a monster...No...You're more than that...You're a demon Lilith...A demon..." Scootaloo said, turning around and helping her friends up, walking them towards the door outside.

"GET THEM!...IF YOU ALLOW THEM TO LEAVE EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE UP TO THIS POINT WILL HAVE ALL BEEN FOR NAUGHT!" the voices said. "You know what has to be done..."

Lilith was sobbing quietly to herself, never did she want to kill the friends she had made...But she didn't have any other choice. Lilith used her magic to shut the barn door before the three fillies could leave.

"I...I should've known this was coming..." Scootaloo said.

"W-What's going on!?" Applebloom cried.

"I-I'm scared..." Sweetie Belle said.

"I'm sorry...I never wanted to hurt you three...You were...My only friends..." Lilith said, still sulking.

"Look Lilith...Just let us go...Please." Scootaloo said. "We promise not to say anything to anypony..."

"You know I can't do that..." Lilith said, using her magic to pull the CMC closer to her.

The CMC screamed as Lilith pulled them closer to her. Lilith, instead of her happy and sadistic mood in situations like this, was sad...and heart broken. She held all three of them in the air and pressed them together, getting some rope and binding all of their legs together and hanging them upside down from a beam on the opposite side of the barn. The blood started to rush to their heads and they cried out in pain as hung there, with Lilith watching.

"L-Lilith please! D-Don't do this to us!" Applebloom said.

"We...We can work something out! I'm sure! Just please!" Sweetie Belle said.

Scootaloo was the only one who didn't try pleading with Lilith, she had no more sympathy to show.

"...I'm sorry...I'm so...So sorry..." Lilith said, unable to look at them any longer.

Lilith opened the door to the barn and took one final look behind her.

"Lilith please! Don't leave us like this!" Sweetie Belle said.

Lilith turned back around, tuning out Sweetie Belle and Applebloom's cry for help. With more tears rushing down her face, she walked forward and left the barn, closing the door behind her.

"Now everything has been taken care of..." the voices said. "What you did...Had to be done..."

"...I never wanted to kill them..." Lilith said, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Some things must be done... whether you want to or not..." the voices said.

With everything accomplished, Lilith returned to "normal". She looked up and noticed the dark clouds had infested the sky so quickly.

"It's...Going to rain soon...I'd better return home I suppose..." Lilith said, walking back home.

When Lilith returned home, she opened the door and was expecting to be greeted by her mother. Strangely though that wasn't the case, Twilight wasn't there.

"I...Guess she went out," Lilith said, walking towards the center of the room. "...I've made sure that no one will come in between us...So why do I feel so horrible..."

Lilith sat in the middle of the room and decided to wait for Twilight's return.

Twilight's Perspective

________________________________________

After Lilith left the house to go and hang out with her friends, Twilight tried to fall asleep as best she could. After 45 minutes of tossing and turning in bed, she realized she couldn't get a good night's sleep until this whole murder situation had been taken care of.

"Gah! I can't fall asleep like this! There's just too much going through my head..." Twilight said. "Maybe I should go see Rarity...I need to have at least one of my friends on my side that believes Lilith isn't the killer..."

Twilight decided to get up and head outside. She closed the door behind her and looked up at the sky. Dark clouds loomed overhead signaling a storm would be coming very soon.

"I'd better hurry, I don't wanna be outside when it starts coming down..." Twilight said.

Twilight rushed over to the Carousal Boutique and went inside to see Rarity. She was surprised when she didn't see her at all in the main lobby.

"Rarity? Where are you? Are you in here?" Twilight called out.

Twilight looked around until she noticed the door to Rarity's bedroom slightly open. When Twilight went inside, she broke down on the floor, seeing blood splattered everywhere and Rarity's dead body tied down to the bed.

"Oh no...Not you too Rarity...Why?...Why is this happening?..." Twilight asked, about to break out in a fit of tears to mourn her friend's death.

Before Twilight started to cry though, she realized that if Rarity was dead...Then the serial killer is somewhere in the area... And...She just let Lilith go outside with her friends.

"Oh no...No, if the killer is somewhere here already..." Twilight said. "Lilith! I have to make sure she's okay! Now, um...She said they were going to...Sweet Apple Acres! That's right! I have to hurry though...I hope she's not in any trouble!"

Twilight sprinted out of the store and made a dash down to Sweet Apple Acres, hoping that Lilith would be alright. When she arrived, she pushed open the barn door and went inside.

"Lilith!? Lilith are yo-" Twilight said.

Twilight was at a loss for words...Before her laid the body of Applejack, crushed from the falling debris...And the CMC...Who hung there on the wooden beam...Dead from exploded blood vessels in their head from hanging upside down for too long. Twilight fell to the ground and cried hysterically, with no one left and all her friends dead...She felt as if all hope had been lost...Or so she thought.

"Twi...Twilight..." Applejack said.

Twilight looked up, seeing Applejack still barely alive she rushed over to her friends side.

"Applejack! Applejack!" Twilight said. "Thank goodness you're still alive! Hold still I'll have you free in no time!"

"Twilight...Don't...There's no point...It's too late for me...We both know that already..." Applejack said.

"N-No! I can save you! Just let me try and move th-" Twilight said, interrupted.

"Twilight...Please...Just listen to what I have to say...Before I go..." Applejack said.

"...Alright... " Twilight said.

"The one...Who did this to me...Who did this to all of us...Was Lilith..." Applejack said.

"Lilith...Applejack...You can't possibly expect me to belie-" Twilight said, interrupted again.

"Twilight please...Stop trying to deny the truth...Why won't you believe me?..." Applejack asked.

"I...I don't know...I guess I just don't want to accept that what you're saying is true! If only you had some sort of proof...To show me that Lilith was the one who did this!..."

Applejack looked at her hoof and pointed Twilight towards it.

"This is..." Twilight said. "A piece of her scarf..."

"I managed to get...A piece of it while she was coming at me...I thought that if you came here...That I should have something...To show you that she was here..." Applejack said, coughing violently.

"Applejack!" Twilight said, consoling her friend.

"...Don't worry about me Twilight...Just please...Stop Lilith before she takes anymore lives..." Applejack said.

"...Alright Applejack...I'll stop her...I promise you that..." Twilight said.

"Heh...Thanks Twilight..." Applejack said. "Good luck...And stay strong..."

Applejack's head fell back and her eye's closed for the last time. Twilight, holding back tears, knew what she had to do. She raced out of the barn and sprinted back to library. It was already pouring and lightning was flashing in the sky. When Twilight had arrived at the library, she ran towards the door and roughly pushed it open, coming face-to-face with the little demon.

"Huh?" Lilith said, startled by the abrupt entrance. "Mom! I'm so glad you're safe! I was really worried about you..."

Twilight looked at Lilith's scarf...She saw it was ripped.

"What happened...To your scarf Lilith?..." Twilight asked.

Lilith looked at her scarf, just noticing that it had been torn.

"Oh...I just noticed that...I must have ripped it on a bush or something when I wasn't paying attention," Lilith said.

Twilight revealed the ripped part of her scarf to her that was stained with blood.

"W-Where did you find that?..." Lilith asked, completely terrified.

"I went to Sweet Apple Acres Lilith...Applejack was still alive...Just barely..." Twilight said. "You should have made sure that you finished her..."

"W-What are you talking about?...I-I didn't do anything...My friends said they h-had to do something so I left early and I-" Lilith said.

"Stop lying to me Lilith... I know you're the one who's been murdering everyone..." Twilight said. "I can't believe it took me so long to realize that..."

"W-What... no...no I didn't... come on Mom you know I woul-" Lilith said, interrupted.

"Don't you DARE call me Mom!" Twilight said. "I'm not your mother anymore..."

Lilith's heart sank...Tears started to rush down her face...After all she'd done just make sure that she could be together with Twilight...

"You were never my daughter...You're nothing but an insane serial killer..." Twilight said. "...Get out right now..."

"W-What!...B-but Mom I-" Lilith said, interrupted again.

"STOP CALLING ME THAT! GET OUT! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" Twilight yelled.

Lilith started tremble, whatever sanity she had left was gone now. She had completely devolved back into her psychotic state, her eyes blackened and pupils blood red. She let out a blood curdling scream and used her magic to lock the door behind Twilight.

"You're...Y-you're not leaving me...I-I'm not leaving you...We'll always be t-together Mom..." Lilith said.

Lilith used her magic to pull Twilight closer to her. Twilight tried to break away by using her own magic, but found it fruitless against Lilith's. Lilith started to laugh hysterically as she used her magic forcibly rip open Twilight's torso. Twilight screamed in agony as Lilith ripped her organs out of her body with her teeth. After several minutes, Lilith released Twilight and she fell to ground, blood pouring out and forming a puddle underneath her. Lilith walked next to Twilight and sat down next to her, stroking her mane slowly and holding onto her.

"W-We'll be together forever...Y-you'll never leave my side...Right Mom?..." Lilith asked.

Twilight, in too much pain to speak, laid there on the ground...Looking into Lilith's black eyes...

"D-Don't worry...You don't have to speak...It's not like were going anywhere after all..." Lilith said, still stroking Twilight's mane every so slowly...

"I'll never let you go..."
