Dynamic Flight, a pegasus, becomes an alicorn. But before his alicorn transformation, Dynamic has to face several situations. Finally, Asterisk, his cousin sister, turns him into an alicorn.
Dynamic Flight is the only pegasus in Asterisk Magical Galaxy's family. He wishes to be an alicorn. He was an alicorn before, but when his mother, Flower Magic, cast a spell that went wrong, his horn disappeared. As this is an embarrassing incident to him, he wants to keep this a secret. Asterisk Magical Galaxy, Dynamic's cousin, is selected as the pony who will turn Dynamic into an alicorn, for her expertise in magic. Asterisk, at first, doesn't want to turn Dynamic into an alicorn because of some reasons. So, her Parents, Glitter Bright and Glowing Mist and her aunt, Flower Magic decide to make her understand that Dynamic really wishes to be an alicorn. But finally, they don't have to do so. After a few days, Asterisk tells her secret wish of having a sister to her aunt. This wish might come true or not. Asterisk, at last turns Dynamic into an alicorn with a spell that she had created herself. Dynamic later learns magic from Asterisk and is happy that his wish is fulfilled.
This story has 20 episodes. All the episodes are written by me. Hope you all will enjoy reading them just as I enjoyed writing them!
Dynamic Flight, the only pegasus in Asterisk Magical Galaxy's family, always wished to be an alicorn. He knew that his wish might never come true because he was an alicorn before and when Flower Magic used a spell that went wrong, he lost his horn (his horn disappeared). Since 10 years of age, Dynamic Flight has been a pegasus. So he thought there would be nopony to turn him into an alicorn. He was too shy to tell that to Asterisk, his cousin sister, because, according to Dynamic, Asterisk would laugh at that. Dynamic Flight stuttered while talking to Asterisk and couldn't maintain eye contact while speaking with anypony.
“Shi-ny, d-do y-you h-hate me?” Dynamic asked Asterisk one day.
“No, I don't hate you, I only make fun of you!” Asterisk replied.
“I-I w-want to be an-an ali-corn.” Dynamic said, as he shyly flew up a bit.
Asterisk felt a bit annoyed because she didn't want Dynamic Flight to be an alicorn. Dynamic Flight was a shy pegasus, so he really felt very shy and embarassed when Asterisk told him these words (that she didn’t want to turn him into an alicorn). Asterisk was looking forward to something more to make Dynamic more embarassed. Needless to say, Dynamic Flight was too shy to speak with a pony by maintaining eye contact.
Dynamic Flight entered the bedroom and started turning the pages a book about a spell that could turn a pegasus into an alicorn if it was only read by holding the book with alicorn magic. Needless to say, Dynamic Flight didn't have magic as he was a pegasus. Asterisk knew the rules of the spell. So she held the book with magic and let Dynamic read it.
“Th-ank y-you, Shi-ny....” Dynamic said shyly.
Asterisk laughed and replied, “You are welcome, D.F.!”
“Dynamic Flight doesn't have magic, so how can he test the spell (to get the proof that the spell works) on another pegasus?” Flower Magic was always worried about that.
The spell's rules were that if the pony who would cast the spell was married, he/she had to ask his/her nephew or niece to cast the spell, and if the pony doesn't have any nephew or niece or wasn't married, he/she should ask any of his/her closest family members like - Mom, Dad, brother or sister.
First, Flower Magic went to her nephew, Star Delight, who is Magic Potion (Flower Magic's twin sister) and Magic Platinum's son.
“Starry, will you be able to turn my son, Dynamic Flight into an alicorn?” Flower Magic asked Star Delight.
“But, Auntie, why don't you ask my cousin sister, Asterisk, to do it?” Star Delight replied.
Flower Magic said, sadly, “But, Starry, Isn't Asterisk too young to do it? What will I do if she gets affected? I care so much for her! I love her more than my son, Dynamic Flight!”
“She's so good at magic! Maybe she will not be affected!” Star Delight hopefully said, in an attempt to convince his aunt.
“Okay... Sta-rry...” Flower Magic said, being a bit worried.
“Don't be scared, Auntie!” Star Delight comforted his aunt.
Flower Magic went to Asterisk Magical Galaxy for help.
“Shiny, please put this spell on Dynamic Flight!” Flower Magic hurriedly said to Asterisk.
Asterisk read the spell and put the spell on Dynamic, but instead of becoming an alicorn, Dynamic lost his wings too and he became an earth pony. Asterisk had secretly done something. Actually, when her aunt, Flower Magic went to Star Delight for help, she knew that her aunt will ask her for help too. So, as she didn't want Dynamic to be an alicorn, she did something else that would turn Dynamic Flight into an earth pony.
Asterisk had made a duplicate of the book which had the spell to turn a pegasus into an alicorn. She had created a spell to turn a pegasus into an earth pony, had removed the pegasus into alicorn spell and had put the earth pony spell there. But, she didn't want her aunt to know that, so she didn't change the title of the spell.
Asterisk said that she didn't hate Dynamic Flight, but she actually hated him. Asterisk got up alone on 04:00am. Asterisk came after brushing her teeth and bathing. It was 04:23am. Asterisk ate breakfast. It was 04:43am. Asterisk entered the bedroom and saw that Dynamic was in deep sleep. Asterisk didn't like deep sleep! Asterisk quickly flew away from the bedroom and arranged her school bag. It was 04:54am.
Asterisk remembered that her Online Classes started on 08:00am. The time was 05:00am. Asterisk knew that her parents and aunt would wake up at 06:00am. Asterisk waited eagerly for 1 hour and everyone except Dynamic Flight got up. Dynamic Flight was still in deep sleep. Dynamic opened his eyes a bit and again closed his eyes.
“Look, Shiny!” Flower Magic said to Asterisk. “Bluebob always does like this! Everyday, I pull him up! Shiny, please shake him a bit! He may get up.”
Asterisk came and tried to shake Dynamic Flight a bit and called him, “Dynamic Flight!”
But, Dynamic again opened his eyes a bit and again went to sleep.
“Shiny!” Flower Magic said, with false affection. “Tickle him on his hooves!”
But Asterisk couldn't do this. So, Flower Magic pulled Dynamic Flight up. Dynamic Flight again lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. Asterisk hated this.
Flower Magic said to Asterisk, “Shiny! Take his toothbrush and apply toothpaste on it and keep it near his hoof. He will hold it and get up.”
Asterisk did as she was told, but Dynamic Flight still didn't get up. Now, the time was 07:55am. Asterisk had Online Classes and she quickly opened the biscuit container, but, accidentally the cap of the container fell on the table with a sound.
When her Parents called her downstairs to know what had happened, Asterisk ran down the stairs and told them what had happened when she opened the biscuit container. She quickly had two biscuits and now, it was 07:59am. Now, she sat for her Online Classes on 08:00am.
After her Classes were over, she went to her aunt, Flower Magic. Dynamic Flight had woken up by then. Dynamic Flight sat beside Flower Magic, but Asterisk didn't even look at him.
“Shiny, do you know how many times I had called you to wake up yesterday? You were in deep sleep and you didn't wake up! You sleep just like Bluebob!” Flower Magic said to Asterisk, attempting to make her a bit annoyed.
“Stop, Auntie!” Asterisk exclaimed. She continued, pointing her hoof angrily at Dynamic, “I don't want to be like him!”
“Look, Bluebob,” Flower Magic whispered to Dynamic. “Shiny doesn't want to be like you!”
“What are you whispering to a pegasus who was turned into an earth pony? I could hear everything!” Asterisk exclaimed.
“Shiny! I was whispering nothing but only that you look like a doll!” replied Flower Magic a bit nervously.
“You were whispering that I don't want to be like D.F.!”
“See, Bluebob! Shiny is able to hear what I was whispering to you!”
Asterisk suddenly struck up a conversation with Dynamic, “D.F., tomorrow you will be turned back to a pegasus.”
“At first, I-I was a-a pega-sus. Then y-you turned me into an earth pony in-stead of an alicorn. I-I w-want to be an alicorn! You will turn me back to a-a pega-sus?!” Dynamic said nervously.
“See, D.F.! You are stuttering less than before! Then I understand that it will be better for you to remain an earth pony forever.” Asterisk joked.
Dynamic misunderstood the joke to be serious and said, “I-I w-want to be an alicorn!”
“Shiny, please stop that. You know that Bluebob wishes to be an alicorn!” Flower Magic interrupted.
“Auntie, it's 01:00pm. It's time for lunch.” Asterisk said, in order to compensate the mistake she had just made by telling Dynamic that he would better remain an earth pony forever.
“OK, Shiny!” Flower Magic replied, as she got up from the sofa.
Flower Magic went downstairs and helped Glitter Bright and Glitter Mist to bring lunch.
At the dining table, Asterisk didn't even notice that Dynamic Flight was eating with his left hoof. After the meal, Asterisk, Flower Magic and Dynamic went to take a nap. After they got up, they spent a wonderful evening, having ice-cream given to them by Asterisk's Parents.
One day, Flower Magic was sitting with Asterisk and talking to her in a friendly manner. Those moments truly meant a lot to Asterisk.
“What is your wish, Shiny?” Flower Magic asked Asterisk.
“I have a very beautiful wish!” Asterisk exclaimed.
“Can you tell me your wish, Shiny? I won't tell anyone about it.”
“I wish to have a sister.” Asterisk whispered.
“Oh! It's a really beautiful wish! But I don't know why Bluebob did not even think of having a sister!” Flower Magic whispered.
“Do you know, Auntie,” Asterisk said softly, so that no one else could hear her talking. “that yesterday, in a dream I saw that I got a brother, though, I wanted a sister!”
“Your wish is so nice! I love it!” Flower Magic exclaimed.
“But won't it take some time to come true?” Asterisk asked her dear Auntie.
“Forget about it. Your wish will come true soon.” Flower Magic tried to comfort her.
Asterisk was happy. She knew that she would have a sister soon.
One day Asterisk was feeling very bored. So she decided to do something that would restore her happiness. She took the bangle which her aunt gave her, put a spell on it and kept the bangle on the doorstep of the house of one of their neighbours.
There was a filly who lived with her parents in that house. It was a small, but happy unicorn family.
After a week, the filly became an alicorn. Everypony was surprised. They decided to find out what had happened, because they knew that their daughter did not have enough magical power to turn herself into an alicorn. But unknown to them, this was the effect of the magical bangle which Asterisk had kept near their doorstep.
The filly's parents started wondering about who gave them such a pleasant surprise. They soon came to know that there was an alicorn filly called Asterisk Magical Galaxy, who was of the same age as their daughter and that she was really good at magic.
The filly and her parents visited Asterisk's house and found out the truth. The filly and her parents were happy and they all praised Asterisk for doing it. Thus, Asterisk as well as the filly and her parents were happy.
One day, Flower Magic decided to turn Asterisk into a pegasus as she knew that Asterisk didn't like Dynamic Flight and hated him. Flower Magic was tired of this. So she created a spell to turn an alicorn into a pegasus.
That night, Flower Magic tried to cast the spell on Asterisk when she was sleeping. But as Asterisk understood this, she quickly made herself disappear with a spell.
Then, Flower Magic decided to think of another plan. The next day, Asterisk woke up and did her morning chores followed by her Online Classes. She had understood her aunt's plan.
Asterisk followed Flower Magic everywhere she went. Soon, Asterisk got tired, but she went on slowly, because she knew that her aunt would probably do something to turn her into a pegasus.
If Asterisk became a pegasus, Dynamic Flight wouldn't stutter with her anymore because he would get a pegasus companion and Asterisk wouldn't be able to tell Dynamic bad things for being the only pegasus because Dynamic wouldn't be the only pegasus then. It would be very embarrassing for Asterisk to be a pegasus. So, Asterisk hid behind the door and peeped and saw that Flower Magic was doing something.
Flower Magic took out a pair of earrings from her bag and then put a spell on the earrings and hid them in the cupboard. When Flower Magic went away from that room, Asterisk removed the spell from the earrings and put them back into her aunt's bag.
Flower Magic observed that Asterisk didn't turn into a pegasus. So she thought of another plan.
“Glitter,” said Flower Magic to Asterisk's Father. “let's visit your terrace. I haven't seen it. I guess it will be very beautiful!”
“No, Auntie,” Asterisk interrupted. “I don't want to go there to just roam about. My bicycle is there, do you know? It's pink in colour and it's so beautiful! You all can see me ride it!”
“Ok! Shiny!” Flower Magic said.
So Glitter Bright, Glitter Mist, Asterisk Magical Galaxy, Flower Magic and Dynamic Flight went to the terrace together. Flower Magic sat on a wooden stool and watched Asterisk ride her bicycle.
Later, Flower Magic got up from the wooden stool.
But, suddenly, they heard a cry, “Help!”
They looked back to see Asterisk falling from her bicycle. She didn't fall completely, but she was half fallen, as she took support of the ground with her right hoof and took support of the wooden stool with her left hoof. She was alright and wasn't injured. Only she got hurt a bit on her horn.
“Oh no! Shiny!” Flower Magic exclaimed worriedly. “My head was turning around when I saw you falling! Let's go now! I don't want you to get hurt further!”
“OK, we'll go now!” Asterisk said.
Dynamic Flight, the only pegasus in the family, tried to hide his smile to see Asterisk hurt. Even Flower Magic, Asterisk's dear aunt, laughed secretly. This was very embarrassing for Asterisk, so she couldn't even look at them. Asterisk went near the gates and opened them.
“But, Auntie,” Asterisk said to Flower Magic. “I never ever fell down from the bicycle since I learnt cycling recently. I always This is the first time I suddenly lost my balance and fell down.”
“Shiny, this is how you will learn! Learn to balance yourself very properly.” Flower Magic replied, trying to act nice.
It was Asterisk's Birthday, 20th December and she would be 12 years old on that day. Dynamic's Birthday was 13th November and that's the main reason Asterisk didn't like Dynamic Flight. The number 13 was unlucky for her.
Now, Asterisk's 'Biggest Gift' was waiting for her! There was a party where her aunts, uncles and cousins came. Having forgotten about her wish, she was just busy enjoying her Birthday Party!
When the party ended, Asterisk went near the bedroom and got the surprise of her life! She entered the room and saw that her wish had come true! She suddenly remembered that she had wished for a sister.
Unable to control herself anymore, Asterisk rushed to her Parents and asked them, “Is she adopted?”
“Certainly not, Shiny!” Glitter Bright replied.
“What is her name?” Asterisk asked.
“You can call her Asterite Magical Galaxy.” Glowing Mist replied.
Asterisk was so excited about this! She was frequently going to the bedroom to see her new sister. Dynamic Flight entered the room and saw this.
Dynamic rushed to the bedroom where Asterisk was sitting and quickly said, “W-Who is she?”
“She is my sister.” Asterisk replied proudly.
“I-I don't w-want to be the only child an-anymore, Shiny!” Dynamic exclaimed sadly. “I-I feel lonely v-very much. I-I wish to h-have my own s-sib-ling...”
“I too wished for a sibling and finally my wish came true! Our Parents are very proud of us!” Asterisk said happily.
“Wh-what is h-her name?” Dynamic asked.
“Her name is Asterite Magical Galaxy.”
“Is she y-your own s-sis-ter or is she ad-adopt-ed?”
“She is my very own sister.”
“But, Shiny, h-how c-can I-I too get my own s-sis-ter?”
“Just stay good, D.F.!” Asterisk said. “Don't be shy and don't stutter. Forget about your shyness.”
Flower Magic entered the room and saw everything. Flower Magic was very excited.
“See, Shiny! Your wish has come true! I told you to forget about it and you did so and finally your wish has come true!” Flower Magic said.
Asterisk was very happy because her wish had come true. She also knew that her Parents would give her the responsibility to look after sister.
“Shiny,” said Asterisk's Father. “you must have developed a sense of responsibility by now. You are now 12 years old. Therefore, we give you the responsibility to look after your sister.”
“Looking after your sister is now your responsibility, Shiny. You will have to keep an eye on her and whatever she does.” said Asterisk's Mother.
“Of course, Mom and Dad! I would surely be able to look after her on my own.” Asterisk replied happily.
“OK, Shiny. Hope you will be able to do your work properly! The best wishes to you from both of us!” Asterisk's Parents said in unison.
Just as Asterisk's Parents left the room to do their work, Dynamic Flight entered the room.
Asterisk asked Dynamic, “D.F., what would you like to be? An alicorn, a pegasus or an earth pony?”
“Still you are stuttering! I have seen that you stutter less when you are an earth pony! So, it would be better for you to be an earth pony!” Asterisk joked.
“Oh no! Shiny! I-I w-want to be an-an alicorn.” Dynamic said.
“And don't you wish for a little sister just like I did? I wished for one and I got one! But would it be the same for you?”
“Uh... It... can be!”
“Do you know? My Parents gave me the responsibility to look after my sister and keep an eye on her and whatever she does. Will you be able to do the same?”
“Maybe... But I-I'm not sure.”
“If you think you can't, then cheer up, be happy with what you already have. You already have me and S.D. (Star Delight) as your siblings! We are not your own siblings, but still we are your cousins.”
“Oh, Shi-ny, y-you are right.”
Asterisk was happy with her responsibility and looked after her sister and kept an eye on her and whatever she did. Their Parents were happy with them.
Asterisk was in her room, reading a book and her baby sister was sleeping on the bed in Asterisk's room. Flower Magic entered the room to see what Asterisk was doing and saw that she was reading a book.
“Shiny!” Flower Magic called out from near the door of Asterisk's room. “Isn't it fun to have a sibling? What was everything like when you were the only child?”
Asterisk looked back at her aunt and replied cheerfully, “Yes, Auntie, having a sibling is fun, but I have to look after my sibling too and that's my extra responsibility from now on. Still everything was alright when I was the only child, but I had some problems like feeling lonely while staying in a room alone and hoping to have someone to play with.”
“Yes, Shiny,” Flower Magic said. “what you said is true, but you could get someone to play with even if you were the only child now also. Astral Star Shine had made friends with you a few months ago. So you could have played with her. Because I have seen that your Parents are busy all the time, doing one work or another.”
“Auntie, my Parents aren't busy all the time. You know, Dad is a Graphic Designer and Mom assists him in doing some other work like writing quotations for making Motivational Videos, too.” Asterisk replied, trying to make her aunt understand everything clearly.
“OK, Shiny. I understand.” Flower Magic replied. “You know, Bluebob is so shy.I don't even know why he stutters while talking to you and nopony else! He also started to long for a sister after you got one! How strange is this! You hate him so much that you don't want to be like him, but he likes you so much that he wants to be like you!” She added, laughing.
“But he doesn't maintain eye contact while talking to anypony, Auntie!”
“I'm sorry, Shiny. I didn't tell you to act as a spy on Bluebob!”
“I'm very sorry, Auntie! I never act as a spy on anypony!”
Suddenly they heard hoofsteps and knew that somepony was coming there.
“Alright! I think Bluebob is coming! Stop!” Flower Magic shut Asterisk up.
Dynamic Flight entered the room, confused about what was going on. Needless to say, he was a shy pegasus and felt awkward whenever he had to talk face-to-face with Asterisk, just because she hated him, due to which he stuttered while talking to her.
“Bluebob, were you near this room when we were talking?” Flower Magic asked.
“No, Mom. I was downstairs when you were talking. I was helping Uncle and Auntie.” Dynamic replied.
“Oh, such a shy pegasus! With what were you helping them?” Flower Magic said, to make Dynamic blush.
Dynamic blushed so much that he had to hide his face by hanging his head and looking to the ground, so he stuttered shyly, “Uh... uh... I-I was helping them with cooking. I was c-cutting vegetables for them.”
“Shiny, I see that Bluebob stutters while talking to somepony if that pony makes him blush. Did you do something to make him blush?” Flower Magic whispered to Asterisk.
“Yes, Auntie. I think that I not only made him blush, but also made him feel embarassed by telling him that I hate him.” Asterisk whispered back.
“Bluebob, do you feel awkward when you talk to an alicorn?” Flower Magic asked Dynamic.
Dynamic blushed and replied, “No, Mom. I-I feel awkward when the alicorn hates me or makes fun of me.”
Flower Magic said to Asterisk, “See, Shiny.” Then she again turned to Dynamic and asked him, “Bluebob, don't you long for a sister?”
“Mom, I long for a sister, my own sister, who wouldn't be adopted or something like that!” Dynamic replied longingly.
“Alright, but I'm sorry to ask that if you are copying Shiny by wishing for a sister? Do you think it's that easy to get a sister? Do you think that you will get a sister just like Shiny in a short time?”
“No, Mom, I am not copying Shiny! I just feel lonely, so I long for a sister.”
“Will you be able to look after your sister yourself, just like Shiny does?”
“Maybe I will... But I'm not sure!”
“Oh! But this means you are not so confident about your abilities!”
“Mom, you alicorns have magic, which is a very wonderful thing. But I don't have it!” Dynamic said sadly.
“You had it! You were an alicorn, just like us till you were 10 years old. But then a spell casted by me went wrong and you became a pegasus. But I've told you, Shiny will turn you into an alicorn.”
“But she doesn't want to do so! Why can't you turn me into an alicorn?”
“You know the spell rules, Bluebob. We will make Shiny understand it. Then she will surely turn you into an alicorn.”
“Oh, yes!”
Dynamic Flight left the room and so did Flower Magic and Asterisk. Asterisk's sister had woken up by then. Then the three of them - Flower Magic, Dynamic and Asterisk went downstairs to help Glitter Bright and Glowing Mist with the cooking and many other things.
Asterisk was sitting with Flower Magic. Needless to say, Asterisk really liked such moments.
“Shiny, why do you hate Bluebob?” Flower Magic asked Asterisk.
“I hate D.F. because he is the only pegasus! And he does everything with his left hoof! You told me about it before I observed it!” Asterisk replied.
“Yes, Shiny.”
“Auntie, yesterday weren't you telling D.F. that he was an alicorn till he was 10 years old and then he became a pegasus when a spell casted by you went wrong?”
“Yes, Shiny! There's a story behind that! But I will tell you about it only if you promise to keep it a secret. Also, you can't talk about it to Bluebob.”
“Alright, Auntie! But why are you being so secretive?!”
“I can't tell you why. I will tell you that only when the secret is fully revealed to you.”
“When will the secret be fully revealed?”
“I can't tell you that, Shiny!”
Saying this, Flower Magic got up from the sofa and Asterisk went away to her room to create a spell. Flower Magic went to Dynamic Flight.
“Tell me, Bluebob, what are your greatest wishes?” Flower Magic asked Dynamic.
“I have told you, Mom. Being an alicorn is my greatest wish. Then is my next wish, that is, to have a sister.” Dynamic replied.
“Bluebob, you have to wait for both of your wishes to be fulfilled.”
Asterisk promised to keep Dynamic's pegasus transformation a secret. So Flower Magic narrated the story to Asterisk, but omitting some parts as she thought that Asterisk would start to dislike Flower Magic for her carelessness.
Flower Magic started narrating the story, “Shiny, do you know? I created a spell to make useless things disappear as I wanted to make a use-and-throw handkerchief disappear. Bluebob was sitting near the handkerchief. I closed my eyes and casted the spell. But my magic touched Bluebob's horn instead of touching the handkerchief. This is how the spell went wrong. Bluebob got frightened. He jumped up from the sofa, flying. He had seen a magic light surrounding his horn. He quickly flew to the mirror and saw that he had become a pegasus! So this is how he became a pegasus. Now, Shiny, please keep this a secret.”
“OK, Auntie. I promise to keep it a secret.” Asterisk replied.
Asterisk hadn't yet known the full version of the story. But she thought that Flower Magic had told her the full story as Asterisk hadn't seen the real incident.
“Oh, yes, Shiny!” Flower Magic said. “I forgot to tell you how Bluebob became so shy. You know, his pegasus transformation is an embarassing incident to him. Since then, whenever he talks to an alicorn, he remembers that he is a pegasus, the only pegasus in this family of alicorns. So he cannot maintain eye contact. And if the alicorn hates him or makes fun of him, he feels even more embarassed, which makes him stutter with the alicorn.”
“Auntie, I didn't even know these! I always thought that D.F. is a borne pegasus.” Asterisk said.
“No, he isn't. You can understand this from this incident! But this is a secret! A secret for anypony who hasn't seen it!”
“But not for me, Auntie!”
“Yes, Shiny!” Flower Magic replied, laughing.
Flower Magic happily left the living room and Asterisk entered her room to do some work.
Glitter Bright, Glowing Mist and Flower Magic were running upstairs and downstairs, searching for something. They were searching for 'something' in every room, but they couldn't find 'it'. They were searching for Asterisk! When they finally couldn't find her, they became worried.
“Bluebob, have you seen Shiny anywhere?” Flower Magic worriedly asked Dynamic.
“No, Mom. I haven't seen her.” replied Dynamic.
“Then where is she?!” Flower Magic panicked.
Unknown to anypony in her house, Asterisk had gone quite far away, to meet her friend, Astral Star Shine for a Secret Meeting with all her friends.
“Alright, Asterisk, we are going to have a Secret Meeting! For that we need a small house. We also need to take our other friends (Lavender Pearl, Sky Rose, Mystic Sunflower and Starshine Diamond) to the meeting.” Astral said to Asterisk.
They went from house to house inviting their friends to the meeting. Soon, all six ponies were together. Asterisk suggested them how to make the house.
“Everypony, we need to use our magic to make the house. Also, we need to see that the house is invisible to anypony else other than us.” Asterisk said.
So they used their magic and made a nice magical house in less than a minute. Soon, they entered the house and settled down for the meeting. They decided to share their ideas for the coming Creativity Day Programme.
Astral said, “So, everypony, we will share our ideas for the coming Creativity Day Programme. I will be the stage narrator. I will announce things on the stage.”
“I will sing a song which is written by me. The music also, has been given by me.” Asterisk said.
“I made a drawing of my Parents on Valentine's Day. My Parents say that it's a masterpiece! I will display that drawing.” Lavender said.
“I will introduce myself. I will tell a few things about myself.” Sky said.
“I will display a drawing of me with my two sisters. The drawing has been made by me.” Mystic Sunflower said.
“I will sing a song made by me.” Starshine said.
“Well, all of you have such nice ideas! Now, quickly run to your homes! Everypony at home must be waiting for you!” Astral said.
They all went home. Asterisk entered her house, went upstairs and saw Flower Magic talking to Dynamic Flight.
Dynamic said, “Mom, I just want to be like Shiny. She is talented and expert at magic.”
“Well, it's quite nice that you want to be like her. I have told her that she hates you so much that she doesn't want to be like you, but you like her so much that you want to be like her!” replied Flower Magic.
“I wish to be an alicorn!”
“Yes, Bluebob, I told you, we would make Shiny understand that you really wish to be an alicorn and she will turn you into an alicorn.”
Dynamic Flight wanted to be like Asterisk because he liked her. Asterisk didn't want to be like Dynamic because she hated him.
“Shiny, where were you?!” Flower asked when Asterisk came near her.
“Auntie, I had gone quite far away. I had gone to Astral's house.” Asterisk lied.
“Oh! You went there! But what were you doing there for one hour?” Flower Magic asked Asterisk.
“I was sharing an idea with her. I told her that my wish has been fulfilled and much more.” Asterisk replied.
Lavender Pearl showed her drawing and everypony took photos of it because they thought that it was really a masterpiece.
Then came Sky Rose and introduced herself. But as she criticized her two good sisters, nopony wanted to take photos of her. But they wanted to keep a record of everything, so they took photos of her, too.
Mystic Sunflower came and showed her drawing. Everypony liked it and took photos of it.
Then came the Popular Social Media filly, Starshine Diamond. She sang a nice song. Almost everypony was her fan. So they took photos of her.
Then at last, came Asterisk Magical Galaxy. She sang a nice song which everypony liked and took photos of her. They all started following her on Ponygram. Soon Asterisk had over 1,000 followers. It was a nice performance.
Lavender remarked, “Asterisk's performance was the best of all!”
Sky said, “Uh... I don't really like Mystic because she's Number 2. Yet I like Asterisk, because her qualities cause me to like her.”
Mystic said, “Sky, I don't really like what you said about me. Yes, I liked Asterisk's performance, I loved it!”
Flower Magic made a fake horn for Dynamic Flight with her magic and fixed it on Dynamic’s forehead. Dynamic’s fake horn looked like a real horn from a distance.
“Bluebob, you go to Shiny and act like an alicorn. I guess she won’t understand that yours is a fake horn.” Flower Magic instructed Dynamic.
“OK.” Dynamic replied.
Dynamic went to Asterisk and tried to act like an alicorn. When Dynamic came near Asterisk, Asterisk understood that Dynamic’s horn was a fake one.
“Who turned you into an alicorn?” Asterisk asked Dynamic, pretending to not have understood that Dynamic's was a fake horn.
“Mom turned me into an alicorn.” Dynamic replied, not in the least stuttering.
“But it can’t be done, I know. The spell rules are different. I see that yours is a fake horn, isn’t it? I understood it just when you came here! I was only pretending to be unaware of the fake horn.” Asterisk replied.
“Uh...” Dynamic couldn't think of what to say next as Asterisk's words made him blush.
Dynamic Flight ran off from there and went back to Flower Magic.
“Mom, Shiny understood that it’s a fake horn!” Dynamic replied.
“But I didn’t think that she would!”
Asterisk came there.
“But you can’t have a fake horn!” Asterisk said to Dynamic.
“Why?!” Dynamic asked.
Asterisk quickly made Dynamic’s fake horn disappear with her magic and went away from there.
Flower Magic said to Asterisk, “Shiny! You shouldn’t have done that!” Then she turned to Dynamic and said, “I’m sorry, Bluebob, I thought that this plan would work for a day, but if Shiny is like this, it wouldn’t.”
“It seems like I have got to be happy with what I already have.” Dynamic replied sadly.
“No, Bluebob, you don’t have to do that! We are finding out ways to turn you into an alicorn!” Flower Magic replied, trying to comfort her son.
Dynamic Flight didn’t have hope, but he decided to tell the story of his pegasus transformation to Asterisk.
Dynamic Flight went to Asterisk to tell her the story of his pegasus transformation.
“Shiny, I will tell you the story of my pegasus transformation.” Dynamic told Asterisk.
“But I have already heard about it from Auntie. If you tell, make sure that you don’t stutter!” Asterisk replied.
So Dynamic started, “OK, Shiny. You know, I was an alicorn till I was 10 years old. It was the day after my 10th birthday. I was sitting on the sofa. Suddenly, Mom came with a use-and-throw handkerchief and kept it on the sofa near me. Mom had created a spell to make useless things disappear as she wanted to make the handkerchief disappear. She aimed her horn at the handkerchief, but the aiming was not straight, it looked as if she was aiming at my horn. Then she closed her eyes and casted the spell. But instead of the disappearance of the handkerchief, my horn disappeared. I felt a magic light surrounding my horn. I was frightened. I jumped up from the sofa, flying. I flew to the mirror and saw that my horn had disappeared and I had become a pegasus!”
Then Dynamic suddenly paused and blushed.
Then Dynamic continued, “It’s a very embarrassing incident to me! From then on, whenever I talk to an alicorn, I remember that I am a pegasus. This makes me feel awkward. And if an alicorn hates me or makes fun of me, I feel more embarrassed and so I stutter.”
“Oh! This is your story! This means Auntie didn't tell me the full version of the story. She omitted some parts to hide her own mistakes!” Asterisk said.
“Oh, yes, Shiny! Keep it a secret! If anyone asks you about my pegasus transformation, then tell them that you don't know the story, otherwise, it would be embarrassing for me.” Dynamic told Asterisk.
“Yes, of course! Auntie also told me to do the same thing!” Asterisk replied firmly.
Asterisk was happy that the secret was now fully revealed to her.
Dynamic Flight was downstairs, helping Asterisk's Parents with all the work. Asterisk was looking after her sister and then went to create a spell to turn a pegasus into an alicorn. This time, Asterisk thought that fulfilling Dynamic's wish would make Dynamic feel better about himself. So, she created the spell and went to her Aunt.
“Auntie, I have created a spell just for D.F.! Today, I have decided to turn him into an alicorn!” Asterisk said.
“Oh! Today is a nice day to turn him into an alicorn!” Flower Magic replied happily.
Asterisk's Parents came upstairs soon and so did Dynamic. Asterisk, her Parents and her Aunt surrounded Dynamic Flight.
Asterisk started casting the spell. First, a bright ray of magic from Asterisk's horn touched Dynamic's forehead. Then, the magic turned white and started surrounding him. Then, a magic horn appeared on Dynamic's forehead. Then, slowly, the horn turned into a real alicorn horn. Dynamic Flight really became an alicorn!
“Thank you, Shiny!” Dynamic said to Asterisk happily.
“You're welcome, D.F.!” Asterisk replied.
The alicorn family was happy with Asterisk.
“Shiny, we had thought of making you understand that Bluebob really wishes to be an alicorn, but we didn't have to do that!” Flower Magic told Asterisk.
“Because I realised my mistake!” Asterisk replied.
“Very Good, Shiny!” Asterisk's Parents and aunt said in unison.
“D.F., did you ever excel in magic when you were an alicorn before?” Asterisk asked Dynamic one day.
“No, I never did excel in magic!” Dynamic replied.
“Alright, today I will be teaching you some basic magic spells, so that you can recall them.” Asterisk said.
Asterisk taught Dynamic the basic magic spells - Making oneself disappear, teleporting from place to place, making a magic heart and lighting up a dark room with magic. Dynamic could recall most of these spells.
Dynamic asked Asterisk, “Shiny, what about the harder magic spells like creating a spell, turning somepony into an alicorn and more?”
“You will be able to learn those spells after learning and excelling in the basic spells.” Asterisk replied.
“Alright, Shiny.” Dynamic said.
Dynamic soon learnt the spells and started to learn the harder ones. He soon could cast all the spells that he learnt from Asterisk. Asterisk was happy to see this positive improvement.
