One sunny day in Ponyville we see Spike looking out the window seeing his friend Twilight Sparkle enjoying a lovely date with her lovely wife Princess Luna. Since 3 years ago she spent some time with her after her trip to the human world and decided to get to know her better. At first she thought that she wasn't into dating but there was something about Luna that made her want to be with her. Then after those years passed they been married since. Spike smiled seeing them.
"Im happy for you Twilight. You found your princess and I have my princess. But sometimes I wish I knew why they're dating." Spike said.
Then he got an idea to read another story.
"I think I like to read another story. Since last time I imagined my girlfriend Starlight as Cinderella I wonder what I can imagine Twilight and Luna as?" Spike said.
He looked on the bookshelf and found a book with a princess and some kind of beast.
"The Beauty and the Beast. That's perfect! I can imagine Twilight as the princess and Luna as the beast. That would be a great story!" Spike said as he began reading.
"Once upon a time in a castle in a valley there was a princess named Luna. Now she had lived in a selfish life where she only cared about herself. Then one day a mysterious enchantress came and warned her that if she doesn't change her ways dire consequences would happen. Ignoring the warning young Princess Luna is cursed by the mysterious enchantress to having the appearance of a monstrous beast. Now her only hope is to learn to love a young woman and earn her love in return in order to redeem herself. But there was a time limit. If she doesn't have her love by the time the enchanted rose loses all it's petals then she'll be like this forever." Spike read.
"I hope she learns love soon. Let's find out." Spike said as the scenery changed to the same scenery from the book.
The scenery changed to a lovely village and we see a purple humanoid ailcorn reading a book. That was Twilight Sparkle. She was reading and greeting everyone that waved at her. Yep. She had a kind, gentle soul and will always respect those around her. On the other side of the village we hear a gunshot killing a duck. A short stubby man with light bluish-gray skin and orange hair tried to catch it but missed. This was Snips. He went to a muscular white unicorn with dirty blonde hair holding a gun. He was Blueblood.
"Wow Blueblood! That duck didn't see that coming! Your probably the greatest hunter ever!" Snips said.
"I know." Blueblood said.
"Ha! No beast stands a chance against you! No girl for that matter." Snips said.
"It's true Snips. But I got my eyes set on that one!" Blueblood said pointing to Twilight. "She's the lucky girl im gonna marry! That makes her the best! And don't I deserve the best?"
"Well yes you do.." Snips said but fell down.
Then he started singing about how he and Twilight will spend their lives together.
He sang as he tried to catch up to Twilight but the crowd was blocking his way. Not to mention that the Dazzlings were admiring him but didn't pay attention. Then he had an idea. He climbed onto the house and went on from there. At the end of the song the crowd ended on a perfect note as Twilight looked at them til they went on with their daily business. Then Blueblood landed in front of her.
"Hello Twilight." Blueblood said.
"Bonjour Blueblood." Twilight said as he took the book.
"Blueblood may I have my book please?" Twilight said.
"How can you read this? There's no pictures." Blueblood said.
"Well some people use their imaginations." Twilight said.
"Twilight. It's about time you get your head out of those books and starting paying attention to more important things. For example: me." Blueblood said as he threw the book in the mud and the Dazzlings sighed lovestruck. "The whole town's talking about it. It's not right for a lady to read. Soon she starts getting ideas and thinking and uck!" Blueblood said.
"Blueblood. You are positively prime evil." Twilight said wiping the mud off.
"Why thank you Twilight. What do you say we take a walk over to the tavern and have a look at my trophies?" Blueblood said.
"I can't. Maybe some other time. I need to get home to help my father." Twilight said.
"Ha! That crazy old hoot? He needs all the help he can get!" Snips said as he and Blueblood started laughing.
"Don't talk about my dad that way! He's not crazy. He's A genius." Twilight said as an explosion went off and she went to help him.
Twilight went to her house and saw smoke coming out from the basement. She also saw a blue skinned male unicorn coughing from the smoke. This was her father Night Light.
"Father? Are you ok Father?" Twilight said.
"Im fine dear. But this blasted machine won't work! I can't figure out how to get this silly contraption to work!" Night Light said.
"You always said that dad." Twilight said.
"I mean it this time! I can't find out why it isn't working!!" Night Light said.
"You will papa. Once you figure it out you'll win first prize at the fair. And be number one's best inventor." Twilight said.
"You really think that?" Night Light said.
"I always have." Twilight said.
"Well then I will give it another try! Hand me my toolbox dear." Night Light said as Twilight gave him the toolbox. "So did you have a good time in town today?"
"Well I got a book. Father? Do you think im odd?" Twilight said.
"What? No of course not! Where did you hear an idea like that?" Night Light said.
"Well it's just that I really don't fit in with anyone. Sometimes I wish I had someone to talk to." Twilight said.
"What about that Blueblood fella? He's A handsome guy." Night Light said.
"He's handsome alright. And rude, and constantly annoying. Papa he's not for me." Twilight said.
"Well don't worry honey. Cause this invention will start a new life for us. Let's give it a go." Night Light said.
He actived the machine and quickly covered his ears just in case it exploded again. But to his surprise the machine was working just fine until he saw the axe chopping the wood and when he stopped it he was shocked.
"It works. It really works!!" Night Light said all happy.
"I knew you could do it!" Twilight said.
"Thanks dear! Well I better start packing for the fair." Night Light said.
He got finished packing and hopped on his horse and headed off with Twilight waving goodbye.
"Goodbye papa! Good luck!" Twilight said.
"Goodbye Twilight! And take care while im gone!" Night Light said.
He headed his way to the fair in hopes of winning. But on his way there he was attacked by timberwolves and they scared his horse away causing him to fall off and ran to try and find him. But in doing so the wolves tried to get him and he panicked. They he made it to a gate and shut it so the wolves can't get in. Then he stared at the castle that was presented to him. When things couldn't get worse it started raining. He went in the castle so he won't get wet.
"Ah. That's better. I'll wait in here til the rain goes away." Night Light said.
He went to the throne room and sat down. To his surprise the furniture talk and gave him company. He was shocked but he loved the company anyways. But what he doesn't know is that a beast lived in here. And then the beast launched at him and growled in anger. And like I said in the beginning it used to be a princess but she was cursed. That beast is Luna.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?!" Luna said.
"I-i-i was lost the woods and..." Night Light said.
"You're not welcome here!!" Luna said.
"Im sorry please I mean no harm!" Night Light said.
"What are you staring at? You come to stare at the beast now have you?" Luna said.
"No! Honestly I just needed a place to stay til the rain goes!" Night Light said scared.
"Oh I'll give you a place to stay. In the dungeon!!" Luna said grabbing him.
"No. Please! I beg you!!" Night Light said. The beast didn't listen and took Night Light to the dungeon.
Back with Twilight she tried to take care of a few things while her father was gone. Like avoiding Blueblood a lot. He tried to convince Twilight to marry him but refused. And since she waited for a few hours for her papa to get back she saw the same horse he rode on heading here all panicky. She looked worried when she saw the horse.
"What's wrong? Where's father?" Twilight asked the horse. "Oh we have to find him."
She got on the horse and rode off to find her dad. She arrived at the castle and boy it looked scary on the outside and inside. While she searches for her papa the furniture started to quietly follow her to the dungeon of the castle. She grabbed a torch and went in since it was dark. In there was her father locked up and she went to him.
"Dad!" Twilight said.
"Twilight! You shouldn't be in here! You have to get out!" Night Light said.
"No! Im not leaving you in here! Who did this?" Twilight said.
"There's no time to explain. You need to get out before it's too late!" Night Light said.
"No I won't....." Twilight said but got caught by a claw and the torch was out.
"What are you doing here?!" Luna said.
"Who are you?" Twilight said.
"Im the master of the castle." Luna said.
"Please. I've come for my dad. He's sick and could die." Twilight said.
"Then he shouldn't have trespassed in my castle!!" Luna said.
"Listen please let him go! I'll do anything you want!" Twilight said worried.
"There's nothing you can do about it." Luna said walking off.
"Wait! If you let my dad go then you can have me instead. I'll take his place." Twilight said.
The beast stopped in her tracks and slowly turned around to face Twilight.
"You would...take his place?" Luna said.
"Twilight don't!! You can't do this!" Night Light said.
"If I did would you let him go?" Twilight said.
She went in the light and looked at Twilight. "If you did then the answer is yes. But you would need to promise to stay here forever."
Twilight didn't know what to do. If she refused then her father would die, but if she did take his place then he'll let her father go. But in doing so she would have to stay with the beast. She looked at her father who was pleading her not to do this but Twilight had no other options.
"You have my word." Twilight said.
"So be it. It's considered done." Luna said.
She walked to the dungeon door and let Night Light out. But then she grabbed him and dragged him to the carriage outside and placed him ordering it to take him to the village. Night Light cried tears to see his daughter but Twilight couldn't say goodbye since the beast was real stubborn. She cried and wondered if that wasn't the choice she gone with.
"Mistress." The candle said.
"What?" Luna said.
"Since the girl is gonna stay with us, maybe you could give her a more comfortable room?" The candle said.
"Alright fine." Luna said.
Back in the dungeon the beast returned and saw Twilight crying.
"You didn't let me say goodbye! I didn't get to say goodbye." Twilight said.
"Come. Unless if you want to stay in the dungeon I suggest you come with me. I will show you to your room." Luna said more calm.
Twilight got up and walked with the beast to her room. While they were walking the beast saw Twilight let a lone tear come from her eye. The candle suggested she talk to her.
"I hope you like it here. The castle is your home now so you can go anywhere you like. Except the West Wing." Luna said.
"What's the West Wing?" Twilight said.
"It's forbidden!" Luna said. They finally arrived at her room and the beast escorted her in. "Now if you need anything my servants with be there to assist you."
"Also you will join me for dinner. That isn't A request!!" Luna said slamming the door.
Twilight was scared having to live with a beast. But then again she did for her father so he won't die. Twilight cried on the bed but she knew that she have to get used to it.
Soon all of the people in the tavern began singing about Blueblood and how great he is. Then Blueblood joined in the song and even the Dazzlings began singing til Blueblood lifted them up on the bench they were sitting on. After the song everyone cheered for Blueblood and he felt much better.
"Thank you Snips. I needed that." Blueblood said.
"Anytime. Soon Twilight will be yours and you'll have a wife." Snips said.
"Yes. I will not rest until Twilight is mine." Blueblood said. Then they all enjoyed a drink and spent time with everyone in the tavern.
Back at the castle we see Twilight still crying. Since she took her father's place she's been upset. Then the door knocked and she answered seeing the furniture come to her and making her feel welcome. Then to her surprise she saw the beast with a regretted look on her face.
"Hey Twilight. Listen im very sorry for yelling at you. I just....I never had any company at my place." Luna said.
Twilight was stunned that the beast apologized.
"Well I appreciate your apology. But the least you could have done is let me say goodbye to my dad." Twilight said.
"I know. And it was very selfish of me. But I dont have much time." Luna said.
"What do you mean by that?" Twilight said.
Luna sighed as she began to explain. "Many years ago I was once a princess in this very castle. But back then I wasn't nice and a mysterious mistress came and warned me about the consequences if I kept acting like that but I didn't listen. Because of that I was cursed becoming this. And in the West Wing is an enchanted rose I keep to watch to see how much time I have left." Luna said as we cut to the rose.
"Every time a petal falls off that means I only have til then to find and earn love from someone or else the spell won't be broken." Luna said.
Twilight took it all in to process the information that Luna said.
"Im sorry to hear that. But if you wanted to earn love then you probably should have been a little nicer." Twilight said.
"Yes. I should have. But I wasn't and I regreted that day ever since. So I want to try again. This time being a little nicer. Will you please join me for dinner?" Luna said.
"That's better. And yes. I will. Lemme change first." Twilight said.
The beast smiled and left her room so she could change. Her servants smiled seeing that their mistress willing to try again and do things right with Twilight. She then came to the dining room in a yellow dress looking all pretty and lovely. She sat down in her chair and the Beast did the same. And enjoyed their meal. We cut outside the castle and saw that 6 months passed and Twilight actually was getting along with Luna. She was feeling a lot better and more calm around her and realized that all she needed was someone that understands her. But Luna looked at the rose and saw that half its petals were gone. Twilight saw that too and needed to do something to reverse the spell. But the only way Luna can is if she earns Twilight's love. And back at the tavern Night Light told everyone at the tavern that his daughter was captured by a beast and those words rang in Blueblood's head. He got so angry that he decided to form a mob and kill the beast. That can only mean trouble for Luna. Meanwhile in the castle we see Twilight and Luna discussing what happened in their lives.
“So Luna. What exactly happened to you during your previous life?” Twilight said.
“Well I used to live with my sister. Long ago we lived together in this castle and we were happy in here. But when I got jealous of her and became selfish that’s when the curse happened. When Celestia saw me she ran away in fear and I never saw her again since.” Luna said sadly.
“In that form who wouldn’t. Oh no offense.” Twilight said.
“None taken.” Luna said.
“Well I have a tragic memory too: my brother.” Twilight said.
“What happens to your brother?” Luna said.
“Well when I was a little girl I used to have a brother who was always there for me. He and I were besties. But 2 years later my brother became sick and the doctor tried to cure him but he was too late. That broke my heart and I wish I could have done something to save him. That and i tried avoiding that arrogant jerk Blueblood.” Twilight said.
Luna couldn’t help but shed some tears.
“I’m so sorry for your loss. I never knew that you were so close to him.” Luna said.
“It’s ok. If you met him you would liked him.” Twilight said.
“Yeah. I probably would if I wasn’t a total jerk my whole life.” Luna said.
Then after dinner they headed to bed and fell into a deep sleep. But they needed to be careful later on cause the mob is coming.
The mob arrived at the castle led by Blueblood and tried to barge their way in but the furniture gang blocked their way. However Blueblood had another idea. He climbed on the tower and made his way to the roof and came face to face with the beast herself. She growled at him and he stared angry.
"Were you in love with her beast?! Did you honestly think that she wanted you when she had someone like me?!" Blueblood said.
"She never liked you anyway you selfish jerk!!" Luna said.
He growled and charged at her trying to attack but everytime he did she dodged. They continued fighting for about 2 hours and once they were on the edge of the balcony Luna grabbed him by the throat and held him by the deep cliff.
"After all you done?! You don't deserve that kind of mercy!" Luna said.
"No please! I'll do anything!" Blueblood said.
A part of Luna wants to throw him off the roof but she didn't. She pulled Blueblood in and stared angry.
"Get out and never come back." Luna said angry.
She released him and walked away but Blueblood didn't listen and stabbed Luna in the back as she yelled in pain. Twilight ran to her and pushed Blueblood off the roof leading him to fall to his demise. She held her close as the last petal fell meaning it was too late. But to everyone's surprise a miracle happened as the magic turned Luna back to her true form. She was now a ailcorn princess and with one kiss from Twilight the magic of the fireworks caused the whole castle to revert back to it's true glory. And all the furniture turned back into people that are servants to her meaning the curse is finally lifted. And Twilight and Luna hugged as they now had the royal feast and wedding sharing their everlasting love for each other as we cut back to Spike who finished the book.
"And so it was that the curse was lifted and everyone lived happily ever after. The End." Spike said closing the book.
"Whew! That was a good story. And there's a lesson. Look for the lover behind the beast and show your gentle side to your soulmate. Well im off to bed." Spike said.
He went upstairs and crawled in bed and fell asleep. Thus my friends ends another story of a beloved Disney movie.
