A Human gets transported into equestria after dying in a car crash and wake up as god an Alicorn who soon finds out he has strange powers and a voice in his head
John Ebot considers himself a successful man who would get his dream done at any cost but early in the morning he gets into a car accident and awakens in a world he swears he remembers as he walks around the destroyed halls of a strange castle and finds out he has strange abilities that he could use to his advantage.
When trying to restore the castle to its former glory the man stumbles into an unforeseen consequence as his body starts to turn into an alicorn as memories flash through his head making the man resurface lost childhood memories of his favorite show and his shitty OC, with all these old memories he has set out to complete his dream and maybe make his own story while he's at it
First and last time I'm going to wake up in a castle - Chapter 1 (Rewrite)
In a room of an Apartment in Downtown Jamestown, a man by the name of John Ebot snores peacefully resting. John Ebot works as an Urban Planner but as of late he has been getting many complaints from his boss about being late to the job for the last 3 weeks and if it happens any more times John will “Not live to see another day” guess we should find out if that was true.
John’s alarm goes off for the 3rd time finally waking him from his slumber. He grouchily gets out of bed taking a nice long stretch. He went into the kitchen and opened the fridge taking out some ingredients to make a sandwich when he went to get his bread he glanced past the stove looking at its timer 8:00. He. Was. Late. Seeing that he almost tripped when he dashed to the bathroom before hopping into the shower for a good 5 minutes, he rushed his clothes on before busting through his apartment door scaring another resident with his sudden appearance.
“SORRY MR WORGANSTER!” John screamed apologizing as he raced down the steps and out of the building.
He sprinted towards his car at full speed, when he arrived at the door his face scrunched up as he patted himself down looking for his keys. He had to go back upstairs in a hurry before grabbing his keys for real this time and entering his vehicle. When he got onto the road he saw that his usual way was filled with traffic, he painfully had to take a back road through some very edgy part of the city.
“God, why does luck just never go my way” John complained stopping at a red light “This day could not get any worse”
He drives forward when it turns green but he accidentally takes a wrong turn ending up on a road surrounded by dense woodland that seems to go on infinitely. John thought he would turn back at the closest time he could but the road also seemed to go endlessly, so he decided he’d just do a U-Turn when turning his car he stepped on the exhaust a little too hard causing him to immediately drive into a tree.
He painfully smacks across the glass cutting open his head “Agh...” John groans in pain as blood pours out from his head wound his conscience going in and out “F-Fuck” he suddenly coughs up blood, looking down he sees a shard of glass has impaled him. He coughs up one more time before going to sleep.
The worst part is, that it was Saturday
LOCATION - ??? TIME - 5:45 AM
John slowly wakes up on a black stone floor in some sort of chamber that looks like some kind of ruin of a throne room that seems to have been taken by nature. John looks over the Throne room in dazed confusion as he tries to stand up loudly groaning as he rises. Remembering what happened just a second before he knew that he had died but then why was he here? HOW was he here in the first place he should be in a coffin at the moment, or be at least anywhere BUT HERE. He took a breather calming his nerves.
“Okay... John, we just need to relax and think about the situation in a good light” He said to himself “We died, and now we’re in some castle ruin BUT you are alive so that’s good”
He was scared to explore the place but deep down he knew that it must be done if he wanted to find out what this place is. He crept toward the giant doors leading out of the room. Touching the handle he took a big breath ‘Whatever reincarnation manga time shit I’ve been sucked in I HOPE I’m not in some dystopian landscape’ he thought before pushing it open, It revealed a grand hallway with a red carpet outlined with gold, the walls had cracked due to nature eroding the stone over time. Entering the hall he looked in both directions before choosing to go left, going down the left hall he saw many paintings of ponies looking like monarchs which made him laugh before he headed further. The deeper he went the dustier and destroyed everything looked like something had an entire battle in the castle, he stopped at an intersection going 3 ways.
“I go-” he was interrupted by a loud growling sound coming from his left, looking over he saw green bright eyes in the darkness just observing which made John dash forward down the corridor going straight. Loud footsteps echoed behind him as whatever chased him as he looked for anywhere to go, he glanced by a sign saying that the Library was just ahead. He crashed into the library before shutting the door and pulling a bookshelf in front of it.
“Deep breathes Ebot, deep breathes” he repeated as whatever was chasing him screeched outside sounding like a dying wolf or something. Turning around Ebot got a whiff of moldy papers and ash as he looked around the Library for anything of us, on one of the tables was a map that spelled out the entire layout of the castle. Inspecting it he realized that the only way out was that door that currently had a devil or something outside it. “Of fucking course I had to go into the one place where I don’t have any ESCAPE!” ‘This world is honestly getting on my nerves why couldn’t I be reincarnated with powers to fight monsters’ Honestly he wanted to burn whatever that thing was with a good source of holy fire.
He suddenly heard something sizzling and a dense heat washed over him. Looking around he saw that nothing changed about the room. He raised his looked at his hand which also hadn’t changed, he then rolled up his sleeves to cool down but was met with bright red veins moving along his left arm. He immediately started to yell as the heat became more painful and hot. ‘WHY IS MY ARM SIZZLING LIKE FUCKING FIRE WHAT IN THE WORLD!’
“FUCK!” he looked towards the door of the library when the screeching got even louder before the creature smashes right through it this time along with 2 other monsters with it, they scramble into the room dashing straight for John. He closes his eyes as he holds his arm raising it to try and block even though he already knows that he’s fucked. ‘Is this how a die? In a place, with fucking Ponies in crowns god damn you god fucked me this time’ The footsteps got closer and closer with devastating speed before they jumped to pounce, but then a sound tore through the air crackling before hitting its target.
“What happened?” John says opening his eyes to be met with 3 flaming corpses of what seem to be wolves made out of timber “Hold up... Are these fucking Timberwolves?” the realization of everything kinda hits him harder than a dump truck as he wraps his head around everything. ‘That’s the pictures had fucking Ponies, not just some kind of practical joke or something god... I’m fucking special. ' John thought and then looked at his arm. When John was younger he was a fluent fan of the My Little Pony show but over the years he had grown distant due to his job this all happening forced him to remember some things. ‘Let’s just hope whatever I did I could do it again”
He looked at the table with the map on it before yanking that shit and leaving the Library. He went back to the intersection and this time he went left toward whatever. After what happened at the Library he was incredibly hungry to eat something, so he went to find the cafeteria which was incredibly close luckily enough only a right, a left, and a forward. He passed a hallway that had collapsed which led to Military offices for the royal guard, Going further he would pass the Guard Armory and a meeting room.
He passed another picture but this time it was of a Luna and the Bat Ponies which got him thinking “I wonder how the Ponies might react if I were to find one at least,” he continued down the increasingly destroyed hallways passing many rooms that he didn’t care about “They will probably try to kill my dumbass!” he started to chuckle finally turning up at the Cafeteria where half of the roof was fucking caved in. ‘Talk about a crushing meal’
‘Hold up, am I about to eat what is probably a thousand-year moldy food... Yeah’ looking at the tables that weren’t flipped over he saw moldy apples with literal LEAVES BARK GROWING OUT OF THEM, then hay which looked completely fine but he’s a human so he couldn’t eat that and the rest looked to be moldy Muffins that we’re staler than someone saying the same joke over and over. ‘Talk about bad luck...’ he took a seat at one of the tables putting his head down
“Why couldn’t this place be fixed or I could have at least arrived a thousand years ago for some fresh fucking food,” he said out loud before he heard static and then glitching. Picking his head up he saw that the entire room was shaped and moved as food glitched onto the tables laying out a feast. ‘Did I do that?’ he walked up to the food which ironically still had hay but whatever, he took an apple and bit into it feeling regenerated from all the sweetness “This is amazing!” he took a few apples and muffins into his hands before dining in.
After eating he went back to the throne room and sat down on the throne or at least one of the thrones ‘So I have powers? And a castle which I could fix up? I COULD BE A KING!’ power might have already gone to his head as he realized he could change anything with a single thought or at least he thought ‘I might need to do a bit of testing, but overall this just means that god hadn’t abandoned me’ he sat up and turned to the throne with the sun and reached his arm out. The throne started to be reshaped somehow taking the other throne with it. ‘Okay... Unforeseen side effect but whatever’ he then turned towards the room and did the same but this time he felt something wrong INCREDIBLY WRONG and then in a flash the entire room was rebuilt ‘I’m getting faster... Wait were there always those flags?’
Staring at the flags he got a headache as he felt something on top of his head grow in length, a horn protruded out of his forehead causing major pain. He dropped to the floor and started to foam out his mouth temporarily brain-dead as his mouth stretched out and became a muzzle and his hands became hooves by merging all his fingers into one. His back ached as holes popped open spilling blood as a skeletal frame of wings crawled out of the holes and physically grew feathers.
In his mind, Memories pass into his mind some of his own, and then some of a different person entirely. It was of a City and a palace and then it was of flames and destruction of a war. Everything went away replaced with a floating green crystal glowing in a dark void power crackling out of it before showing an Alicorn with a Leaf colored mane flowing like leaves in the wind, roots crawling along his legs, and a Cutie Mark resembling a tree. And then everything went black.
Waking up John holds his hand on his head as he tries to stand up ‘Ugh... What happened?’ he looks at where his hands should be only to be met with hooves “What..” he looked at the rest of his body and to say he wasn’t scared shitless would be an understatement, his chest became heavy and his breath becoming rapid but then it all stopped... He became calm and relaxed as if something prevented him from panicking. “What the fuck just happened?” he asks getting up to the floor wobbly.
“Uh..” He grinds his teeth as he thinks ‘I need to get o- I need to rebuild the country i-i way...’ he feels a thought go through his head that he knows isn’t his. His body started to walk on its own going out into the hall which was now fully different and repaired with new features as well, his body continued to walk until it had gotten outside where it just stopped. ‘What in the bloody hell is happening?’ his horn glowed as he felt his body freeze up, nothing happened for a second before the entire forest near the castle lit up in a green light as Buildings started to take form. Rocks became paths, wood shaped into walls, and dirt morphed into furniture, etc. The leaves fell from the trees gathering into one Pile, Ponies started to form from the leaves resembling regular ponies mixed with pegasi and unicorns
And suddenly he passed out once again from exhaustion...
He ONCE again wakes up somewhere in the castle. ‘God doesn’t understand how much pain it is going uncautious and waking up in uh whatever the universe says to’ he thought annoyed to the world’s end. Looking at wherever he was it resembled a modern hospital so he was quick to understand where he was at least but the real thing was why the hell was this room rebuilt?
A stallion wearing glasses walked into the room with a clipboard “Alright... So magic exhaustion and a major case of malnutrition” He looked up to meet Johns’s eyes giving him a calming smile “King Everleaf, welcome back to the realm of the living” He walked up beside him “You should be happy we were able to make your body fully stable, your entire body almost imploded on itself”
“What... Who even are you??” John asks. He gets a frown in response as the stallion writes something, looking over to the Clipboard he sees that he had written that John may have a chance of brain damage. ‘Oh fuck, what should I do, HE THINKS I HAVE DEMENTIA OR SOME SHIT!’ “Ah... Uh, I’m sorry I uh” he looked around the room trying to find anything he could use to identify the stallion. ‘Oh, crud this room has FUCKING NOTHING, wait I could just look at the Clipboard’ Looking at the clipboard he finds that the stallion’s name is Healing Hooves, strange for a male. “Ah, I remember you, Healing Hooves right?”
The frown gets even more apparent than ever. “That’s better than anything, but that would be my Assistant nurse, Sire, I’m Doctor Coneflower,” he said plainly “But besides that, how are you feeling?”
“I feel like I went through hell and back”
“Okay... So extreme pain, that is to be expected” Coneflower started to write down more things. “Alright I’ll be back later with a diagnosis so in the meantime we will bring you food, and after you should get more rest” John just nods to him before Coneflower leaves the room
‘Alright, so I’ve turned into a horse or a pony to be specific, and something took over my body?’ he groans putting his hooves on his head ‘And I’m apparently malnourished in this body but also a king... God what kind of shit have I got myself in.’ he started re-evaluating the flashes that appeared before his body felt like it went through the 9 layers of hell itself. He remembered seeing a pony who looked exactly like the body he now inherited. “Hm... Alright”
John sighed before he got out of bed and immediately fell onto the ground “Ugh... Gotta get used to all this” he stood up although his entire bones were rattling as he took step by step before opening the door with some complications but still got out into the hospital wing ‘I need to find my way to the main castle’. He walked along the hospital halls looking for any of the staff who luckily were not to be seen, he was confused about where the hell he was it felt like this was an entirely new castle he was in.
“King?” A female voice says coming from behind. John immediately turned around startled and somehow shot out a fireball, The mare in question’s eyes opened up wide, and fell to the floor dodging the attack with a loud eep. “Y-your majesty did I do something wrong?”
“Uhm who are you?”
“I-I’m your Student and Personal Assistant,” informed the mare “Y’know Star Blossom?”
“Ah ah yes... Star Blossom, I remember now” He lied. “Say Star wouldn’t you know where my uh” he paused for a second ‘personal room is?”
“Ah, but I thought you had to stay in the medical room for a few days, that is what the doctor told me,” She asked
‘Okay. Fuck, wait ain’t I apparently the monarch of the country or something that gave him one devious ass idea “Blossom, are you disobeying me?”
“I-I, no your Majesty I was just tryin’-” He interrupted Blossom
“Trying to do what?” He asked but before she could respond he said “I’m saying this one last time my student” She looked up at him with teary eyes “I’m sorry...” he couldn’t keep being mean for the life of him. “Could you please take me back to my room?”
She was quiet as she led John.
John looked around at what was his room. It was plain, with green carpet, 2 bookshelves in the left corner, a giant bed in the middle of the room with a pristine cover, and lastly a desk on the right. He wouldn’t say it wasn’t what he expected it to be, but he hoped it would look a little bit more kingly.
“Thank you, Star Blossom.” he analyzed the mare’s expression which still showed her sadness “Also, sorry about my little outburst earlier” he ran a hoof through her mane while giving her a friendly smile.
“Oh, it’s okay sire,” she had a blush on her face while awkwardly kicking the floor “But I accept your apology”
‘That was a mood change, but uh whatever’ John chuckled to himself looking at Star. “Ah, you are dismissed Star and once again I’m still sorry” he watched Star leave before trotting over to look at his desk which had a bunch of files laid out. Reading them he couldn’t understand what any of it meant.
The transfer is almost ready, the prayers will be answered. If all goes well the gate shall be opened and we shall escape the war and our failure to oppose the two devils on the horizon, the chains of time and place will be broken by all means.
The leap is possible, all it takes is one good magical charge and the leap will be achieved.
Paper 2
The crystal seemed to react near the captured artifacts shooting out a giant magical energy, by all means, this could lead to the gate being opened. The leap was possible but now we need to open the gate to the impossible.
I only have so much time left, the gate may exist as our only hope.
Paper 3
IT WORKED! IT ACTUALLY WORKED. But why does everything feel so cold, we should be out and free. Unless the gate closed as we entered, this is terrible news I... the paper seems to dissolve into dust at the end of the paper
John was severely disturbed ready the letters. What did it mean? What happened when his body cast that spell, it could mean several possibilities that he himself knew would be weird and strange ‘I need to know more, these papers get unreliable after the third one only being taxes and reports on the armory’ he sighed before taking a glance at the moon. A silhouette of a mare was slowly disappearing. ‘wouldn’t you look at that? Nightmare Moon just got freed’
He was attacked once again by thousands of memories, he was shown someone laughing and a flash of blood, then a red moon coming over a burning village. He woke up from that spasm on the ground surrounded by a green bubble ‘Ugh... What just fucking happened?’
He stood up causing the bubble to pop. “Today has been a doozy” he looked at the room before him which was now in a mess like someone had come through with a pack of moose. ‘Jesus, did I do this?’ his thoughts were interrupted by an explosion ‘That would be Nightmare Moon’ he took a breath before a Guard busted into his room.
“Sire! An Alicorn has attacked the castle and killed multiple guards” he explained breathing heavily after probably running a Marathon to get here “Star Blossom is holding he-” he was stopped by a hoof, looking up at John he understood everything “Follow me sire!”
John and the guard arrived at the throne room to a gruesome sight. Guards lay on the ground either dead or wounded and even some on the ceiling pinned with their own weapons. In the middle stood a blood-covered dark blue alicorn with armor.
“Art thee this king Everleaf I heareth about?” she smirked “Nev’r did expect thee to beest a male Alicorn, but aft’r i’m done thee’ll beest a most wondrous prize aft’r mine own conquest” She readied an attack at John before shooting many bullets of pure magical energy.
“OH FUCK!” John backed up ready to take the attack, but a shield popped up when Star Blossom appeared out of nowhere with a pop with many wounds. ‘Shit, I thought this would be a cartoon. Why is everything so bloody!’ he knew Blossom couldn’t hold this for much longer with that many bullets raining down. All the spells he ‘knew’ was a fireball and a shitty repair spell that got him into this mess. ‘Shit... I guess this is how I... GET REVENGE!’
Nightmare Moon POV
She had been raining down bullets for a minute now waiting for that little shield to break. To be fair after her conquest and destruction of whatever palace replaced hers, she was going to torture him till he served her making the reign of her empire nigh unstoppable after she killed Celestia. Nightmare Moon laughed to herself as cracks formed in the shield spreading over the magical surface.
“Fool, thee can’t win ‘gainst me, give up and i might spare thee and thy comrades!” She started with a smug smile on her face as the Shield cracked into pieces. Through the debris dust, a red light glistened before she felt something wince straight past her face
The Alicorn stared at her angrily surrounded by his comrades who were all on the ground wounded or even dead. Interestingly his horn glowed multiple different hues like it was powered up. It didn’t matter to her for the most part but it still annoyed the Night Alicorn, how dare he stand against her?
‘He’s fighting back... That’s annoying this would have been easy if he just gave up but what’s the hurt in more fun’ she thought. Nightmare Moon levitated debris off the ground chucking it at Everleaf, the debris was grabbed by what seemed to be a vine.
“What?” Nightmare Moon was understandably confused about this but before she could do anything she felt something wrapping around her tail, she cried out loudly getting yanked to the ground essentially ripping most of her tail off. All around her Vines sprouted out of the ground holding her limbs in place as they started to tighten cracking her bones in two with a loud crack.
‘sister... Please help’ Nightmare prayed in her mind that someone would come help even Celestia if It meant being free of this pain. She winced as a new vine pierced her back and whatever vein was there, blood splattered across the floor as whatever the vine did in her back started to pulsate and drain her nutrients. Another vine punctuated her leg and started traveling under her skin clogging up her blood flow before digging into her flesh and what felt like fire started to eat at her. Finally, a vine with the same power as Everleaf pierced her skull cutting straight through her brain she didn’t feel dead though but she wished for it so much. Once and for all the vines poked her eyes out.
‘Pl...Please just end me already!’ she tried to scream but only fell on dead ears as she was essentially ripped in two her guts being the only thing holding her together but eventually even those were ripped in from each other.
“Reconstruction”
Suddenly she started to reshape and form again, at first they became a grey mess of a pony with dark blue fur then resized to be a little shorter than Everleaf, then the wings formed along with the horn but before anyone knew it a shorter Alicorn was on the ground shaking.
John’s/Everleaf POV
“Ugh... My head” John muttered holding a hoof to his forehead. He looked around the room extremely confused about what happened, why was the room essentially crumbling and ruined, and why the were guards scatted across the ground. But the most damning thing was why an Alicorn, whom he recognized as Luna, shivering with eyes wide like they had seen death himself standing in the middle of the room.
‘Wasn’t Nightmare Moon just here a second ago? How did Luna just appear in a second like that’ These were questions he wouldn’t answer for a while. “So... Hi?”
“I b-beg thee, don’t hurt me” She responded instantaneously backing up in terror.
“Woah, I didn’t plan to in the first place but uh you seem hurt?” John took a step closer giving a reassuring smile. Tears flooded her face as he got closer
“DON’T COME CLOSER!” Luna screeched her voice sounding very horse. She was in a lot of pain, and her entire body felt numb but she didn’t trust John for a second.
“I’m just trying to help” John stated stopping in his tracks. He couldn’t understand why Luna was so fearful of him, what did he do? “I promise you we have uh doctors here”
“Y-YOU LIE!” Suddenly Luna screamed in pain as one of her legs snapped. “A-AH!”
“W-What just happened???” John winced as he heard the bone break. His attention soon went on a strange rippling sound to his right, turning to it he saw a surprised Princess Celestia looking at him. “Oh, this looks bad...” John muttered.
“A MALE ALICORN!?” Celestia’s bewilderment turned to terror and panic once her eyes locked on Luna. “I-i sister!?” she was at a loss for words. “What have you done!” Celestia raced over to Luna tears spreading over her eyes as she hugged Luna. “Are you alright sister?”
“Tia... It hurts so much” Answered Luna returning the hug or at least trying to “I missed it so much”
“Rest, for now, I’ll deal with him” Celestia calmly patted the back of Luna’s head casting a sleep spell.
“Okay, I know this looks bad” John backed up as the Solar Alicorn rose and looked at him angrily. “BUT I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!”
“You say that but her entire body has YOUR magic signature all over it!” Celestia barked horn glowing brightly “If I were you’d surrender now whoever you are”
He gulped hardly closing his eyes for an attack but nothing came. Celestia stood awe-struck at something.
“How is that possible?” Everything started to dawn on her “Your aura, it’s so powerful and unstable” She focused her eyes on John. “Who exactly are you?”
John all of a sudden felt a surge in him when she asked, his mouth moved on its own as he screamed “I’M THE KING OF THE EVERFREE!”
“King of the Everfree?” That answer puzzled Celestia a lot. How did an entire king pop up in essentially her backyard? But also an Alicorn who was related to the Everfree in some sort of way it just didn’t make a lick of sense. “Argh no matter! I don’t care if you are some sort of King I won’t let you do that to my blood!” Celestia readied her horn causing the entire room to start getting hotter “Fiend, you now face Princess Celestia of Equestria and the Solar Diarch!”
‘oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck’ John’s thoughts were a mess of random curses and invasive thoughts. His eyes danced across the room to his guards who were either groaning in pain from before or were dead so they were out of the equation, her looked for Star Blossom but she was knocked out by the earlier explosion. “Could we talk ABOUT THIS!!!”
Celestia shot a ray at him that left a scorching hole in the wall luckily he nearly dodged it, she was trying to kill him at least he knew that. “We have nothing to talk about” She picked up some debris off the ground and started to toss it toward John pinning him to a wall.
“ACK!?” John breathed heavily, his hooves moving erratically to get the debris off. “Damn, dying in a new world already huh?” Celestia walked up to him her horn scorching hot.
“King of the Everfree, you are under arrest and will be tried by equestrian law,” Celestia said stepping on the stone and making John whine in pain.
John closed his eyes accepting his fate of going to prison, and suddenly he heard the door bust open. An entire platoon of guards had arrived at the battle led by a pony in a decorative rope. “Halt! Step away from the King!” the sudden change in the situation made Celestia sigh before her horn lit up once more and she disappeared with a comically loud POP taking Luna with her.
“Guards heal all the wounded” The Mare sighed walking over to John. “Let’s get you out of there my lord” Under the robe a horn lit up picking up the loose debris and throwing it to the side. “Sorry we’re late, a barrier left us completely useless until it suddenly disappeared.”
“Uh... It’s fine” John got up and puked before falling, the robed mare caught him in her hooves. “T-Thanks”
“Let’s get you healed up my lord,” She said waving over one of the stallions. Once the healers arrived he felt a ticklish sensation go over his entire body, he felt once again rejuvenated like he was a baby. “Is that batter?”
“Yes, Thank you,” John sighed looking around the room. It was destroyed in more places than one, the walls had a giant hole, and some of the pillars were standing on sand practically. ‘closed my eyes for a second, and the entire room was demolished.’ John thought scoffing.
“Well, that’s good at least” The mare was soon called over to the outside of the room by a stallion. She was soon replaced by Star Blossom, Star was roughed up in a few places but for the most part, they were fine.
“Sire, I’m glad to see you are alive” Star seemed somewhat cheerful for someone who was knocked unconscious. “I was worried when that nightmarish mare destroyed my shield. But it seems you were able to defeat them like usual sire”.
“I uh.. Yeah,” John stood up straight shaking his head. “It was interesting to defeat them, it was extremely tricky... Yeah” he adverted his eyes as a nervous feeling climbed up his back, how would he explain this to anyone when he didn’t know what happened himself? And he didn’t even act like a king, he didn’t know how kings acted anyway he lived in fucking VIRGINIA!
Fortunately, enough Star didn’t catch onto this at all she just looked admiring John’s figure. “Sire, you must teach me how you did it-”
“It seems I need to leave, maybe next time!” He started to walk out of the room but was followed by Blossom. “Uh, why are you following me?”
“Is it a bad thing sire?”

“Oh...” her entire body drooped. She turned away from him mumbling something, but it was ignored by John.
‘Jeez, what a way to pull the heartstrings’
John galloped through the halls lost, he was trying to find where his room was but ended up in some grand hallway with a great view of the city. He could see many lights and ponies walking around like they weren’t made out of the dirt itself, Interestingly enough the building with the most light was some sort of bakery. In other news, the surrounding land was all forest from what he could see at least.
‘Majestic city but I need to find my way home and I think those notes might have a clue.’ he sighed continuing his walk and came upon a hallway leading to a bunch of offices that had many sigils on signs, he chalked it up to being the officer wing to the castle. ‘At first, I thought this was going to be a cool adventure with magic until I ended up a damn horse, also this stress that I’m a king of a kingdom or uh a city but still I never learned about that politics jumbo.’
John walked up a set of stairs before he was hit with a wave of energy freezing his entire body. A deep and ragged voice echoed throughout John’s head. ‘What the fuck?’
“Finally! I can speak” The Voice cheerfully. John’s body soon started to move on its own completely moving up the stairs into a room with 5 Stones scattered across the room, a green aura surrounded the stones as power rushed into his horn.
‘ARGH... Why can’t I fucking move!?”
“Please don’t interfere other one,” the voice said addressing John. “All your questions will be explained”
‘Who are you’
”King Everleaf but that is also you” John’s horn started becoming longer as more energy was sucked out of the stones ”I’m sorry for being quiet when we first met, I did not have the power necessary to form speech and I would have had more if l didn’t use it defending us.”
‘I don’t understand?’
”When Luna appeared a wave of harmonic magic washed over the planet when the spell broke, I absorbed enough to pull off a fight even if I had to use my strongest it was worth it.”
‘But... Why are you in my head?’
”Well I have no clue except you have to be me, our souls matched perfectly when I took over.”
‘Uh-huh...’ John didn’t understand anything he just explained but he felt it was important to remember for later... If there is a later. John suddenly felt a jolt of energy as the stones crumbled and with that his control. “Oh, Jesus my... Head hurts” John looked at the crumbled stones “The elements... I thought they had no power in this form”
(surprised those tyrants didn’t steal these first..)
“Oh... You’re still here”
(Get used to it.)
“Ignoring that what do you mean by tyrants?” John asked interested
(Well they were the ones who forced my hand to try and escape this reality, they invaded our kingdom and burnt the great Everfree with each occupied village!)
“If that was true uhm why didn’t they recognize uhh us?” John at this point was along with the ride on this one he had no clue what the voice meant.
(During my reality breach... I may have destroyed my universe, but look! It fixed itself but TRIED to remove me...)
“What???”
(But it was not for nothing, Blossom doesn’t have that receding mane cut anymore!)
Location: EVERFREE FOREST. Time: 9:65 AM
Third person POV
Along a stone path spreading throughout the forest laughter was heard, 6 Mares seemed to have just heard the funniest joke of their lives. The one leading was a magenta unicorn that had a dark purple mane with pink highlights, she was called Twilight Sparkle. Twilight soon led them to a crossing where a majestic bridge stood, and right next to it a crying sea serpent who was bleeding from a small cut to his head as long as his mustache was cut on one side.
“Oh my, what a cruel world!” the serpent splashed in the river “Out of all serpents it had to be ME!”
“Excuse me, Sir”. Twilight stepped forward “How did you exactly get that wound?” Twilight backed up nervously as the serpent bent down noticing the pony.
“Well, I don’t know.” He placed a hand on his wound but also his mustache “I was minding my own business swimming downstream and I decided to take a break but then a bridge came out of nowhere striking me straight in my head!” he sighed “Then this bluish smoke whizzes straight past me and cuts off my beloved mustache!” the serpent fell back into the river drenching the mares.
“Oh my” a butter pegasus mare with a pink long mane, she was called Fluttershy. Fluttershy flew up to him and gently rubbed his head. “You poor thing, maybe my friend could help you” She looked down at Twilight. “Twilight uhm would you be able to use your magic to help?”
“Healing spells?” Twilight thought for a moment “Ah yes, uh Mr. Serpent standstill... Please.” A purplish aura surrounded the cut, and the flesh grew back healing the wound but unfortunately, his mustache stayed the same. “Er sorry about your mustache sir, I don’t have any spells for hair growth...”
“Oh, it is fine, at least you trie-” he yelped suddenly staring down to see a white unicorn with a sophisticated purple mane, she was named Rarity. Rarity was pulling out one of his scales with a determined look. “Oh, Ms why do you do this to me!”
“I’m sorry but I can’t let this crime against fabulosity go unfixed!” She declared cutting her tail in half, grabbing the tail she wrapped it to his mustache. “Now you look absolutely stunning!”
“My mustache!” The serpent hugged Rarity tightly “Thank you!”
“Oh it was nothing dear” The serpent plopped her back down. The rest of the mares ran over to her.
“Rarity your tail!” Twilight exclaimed.
“Don’t you know Twilight, short tails are in this season” Rarity walked past them and onto the bridge then followed by the others shortly after.
The 6 shortly came across a gate in a huge wall that was guarded by two stallions in silver armor, one being a pegasus although their wings were sticks with leaf-looking feathers, the other was a unicorn but its horn looked wooden and hard. The weapons they held were silver swords and a dagger that was sheathed.
“Woah they look so cool!” said a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane. “Never knew a bunch of awesome-looking stallions lived in the Everfree!”
“There weren’t supposed to be any!” Twilight professed “This forest was deemed to be unlivable for any race of pony, due to the wild-like habits the forest controls so it would have been an impossible feat... " She looked toward the guards who were now staring at them. “Also those ponies look nothing like any tribe we have found, the most interesting thing is that these two inhabit characteristics found in the Pegasi and Unicorn tri-” She realized that the pink mare with bubbly pink mane whom she known as Pinkie Pie just hopped over to the two guards. “WAIT THEY COULD WORK FOR NIGHTMARE MOON!”
“HIYA! That’s some pretty cool armor you have but I think silver is a little bland or whatever fits you best because I don’t judge” Pinkie gasped “I didn’t even ask your name yet or tell you my name, it’s Pinkie Pie if you’re asking!”
The Stallion was flabbergasted by the assortment of whatever Pinkie said in a matter of seconds “Uh That’s classified information” he stated.
“Nice to meet you ‘That’s classified information’” she held out a hoof but was pulled away by a distressed Twilight “Oh Hi Twilight, have you let ‘That’s classified information?”
Twilight ignored Pinkie and looked at the puzzled Stallion. “I’m so sorry about her sir, although I just want to ask who might you work for?”
“King Everleaf obviously?” he stated looking over to his pegasus partner who was being haggled by a cyan pegasus.
“King Everleaf?” Twilight was struck by confusion once again “Who is that”
“He’s the king of the evergreen or everfree to most tourists” The Guard Explained “We’ll let you in if we see some identification”
“Identification?” Twilight considered this for a moment before she was moved out of the way by Pinkie showing him a card “Wait wah-”
“You don’t have an ID Twilight?” Pinkie asked honestly confuddled.
“What even is that?”
“Twilight Darling you’re a grown mare and you don’t know what an ID is?” Rarity strolled by flashing her card.
“I-i NO!” Twilight suddenly felt something in her hair, grabbing it she found a card with a note attached to it.
Dear Twilight - It seems that I’ve forgotten about something extremely important for your travels to the provinces of Equestria, an identification card.
PS. If you get arrested send your scroll to me. - Princess Celestia.
“You got to be kidding me...” Twilight groaned showing the guard their ID and proceeding inside.
“Talk about plot convince!” Pinkie entered as well.
“Well gals, we were able to penetrate the city with outstanding ease, but don’t get distracted we need to find Nightmare Moon and the best course of action is for us to cover more ground is splitting up” Twilight explained “Pinkie with me, Applejack and Rainbow then Fluttershy with Rarity”
“Darling not to concern you but Pinkie already disappeared” commented Rarity.
“Alrighty... Do the rest of you understand the plan?”
There was a wave of affirmation as they split off leaving Twilight alone, she sighed turning to face the big city. “Alright, Twilight you got this... I hope”

Twilight Pov
Twilight walked around Main Street asking anyone if they had seen the whereabouts of Nightmare Moon but came up empty-handed several times. Eventually, she found herself outside a bakery named Sweet Cake Cupcakes, where she was met with an aroma of smells, pumpkin spice, apple, and cinnamon but also many more. At the counter sat a Tan mare with Pink puffy hair with a cake cutie mark.
“Oh, Hi! I haven’t seen you around here before, what’s your name?” the mare waved happily.
“Uh it’s Twilight Sparkle”
“Well my name is Pavia Elliot Fever but most just call me Party Fever!” Party Fever soon pulled out a menu passing it to Twilight “So what’s the order?”
“Oh, I’m not here to order anything although I’ll buy a cookie or two if needed” Twilight still accepted the menu anyway “I wanted to ask a few questions about something”
‘Let’s hope she will answer it at least...’
“Well, you came to the right mare my friend” Party Fever came around the counter pulling a stool out for Twilight “So what’s the question?”
“Uh Thank you” Twilight sat down and got out a scroll “Earlier this night Princess Cel-” She quickly remembered her earlier encounter “er a very important pony was fillynapped by a creature of the night that became a blue mist and ran this way-”.
“Wait, wait, Are you telling me that another pony just turned into mist?”
“Erm yes?”
“Huh, well I heard from an earlier customer that Mist went toward the castle.” Party Fever scratched her muzzle in thought muttering “I hope Bloom is alright..”
‘Bloom?’ Twilight stared directly at Party Fever ‘Is this Bloom person someone Nightmare Moon would want?’
“Hey”
‘If so why have I never heard her before in any books... Or this city for that matter’
“You there?”
‘Even the ponies look weird... No offense of course’
“HEY!”
“HUH!? Oh... Sorry,” Twilight gave a cheeky smile.
“It’s fine, I know I’m a swell piece of cake”
The remark made Twilight flush up her cheeks in embarrassment “Sorry”
“Also I forgot to say. Welcome to Freehaven, the bastion of the Empire of the Evergreen!”
‘Freehaven? Unique name for a city of some... Wait a second if Nightmare Moon returned, and a city of an entire strange empire popped up. THIS COULD BE AN ANCIENT METROPOLI-’ her mind went blank. “Uh... Thanks for your time!” Twilight felt the urge to leave so she concentrated on getting that accomplished.
She heard a cough and turned around to Party Fever. “Forgetting something?”
‘ah the cookies’
“Once again, sorry” Twilight stepped back to the counter and started to flip through the menu.
Applejack and Rainbow went to search the upper district of the city, Applejack watched the roads while Rainbow flew above to cover more ground. They have unfortunately found nothing so far but that might also be for Rainbow questioning anypony that seemed ‘Strange’.
“Found anything from up there yet?” Applejack looked exhausted and annoyed. “And ah swear if it’s just another stallion tryin’ to enjoy their night ah might as well slap ya!”
“Hey! They looked weird to me I mean did you see how he carried that fish” Rainbow scanned the ground once more. “Besides that nothing yet AJ besides a bunch of weirdos”
“Don’t call anypony a kook that’s just rude Rainbow!” She glared up at Dash “I swear you just say anything ya think of Rainbow”
Rainbow only rolled her eyes in response. She continued to examine from above while Applejack yelled at her for being rude and unjust which was semi-valid, but overall the only thing that happening in the streets was honestly just ponies enjoying the night with their families or friends. Rainbow’s attention switched to the castle where she found numerous guards forming at the castle’s gates.
“Rainbow are you even listening?” asked Applejack.
She looked at the windows before her eyes seemingly being set on something “Applejack I found her!”
“Wait what?”
“SHE’S IN THE CASTLE!”
“We got to tell Twil-” Applejack felt her body soon lift off the ground as Dash picked her up and soared through the streets. “HOLD ON NOWWWWWWW!” During the flight, Applejack saw everything wiz past her even Pinkie Pie who she swore waved at them.

John’s POV
John was procrastinating currently trying to get any answers from Everleaf who was saying nothing or ignoring the question. “Please explain to me how the fuck you destroyed the universe but was able to SUCK IN PURE HARMONY!”
(You seem to be overreacting)
“OVERREACTING!?”
(Harmony powered the spell after all so it was just doing what it found that wasn’t harmonious)
‘This guy can’t be fucking serious’ John thought his patience running thin. “But that doesn’t explain WHY THE UNIVERSE IMPLODED” John turned to the window his anger changing to confusion as he saw something coming closer. “The fuc-”
Everleaf head felt like it was splitting from whatever had hit him, opening his eyes his vision was blurred but what he could make out was a blue pegasus who was holding their head groaning out in pain, and an orange earth pony that was flipped onto her back. Everleaf shakily stood up putting a hoof on his forehead when he felt a sudden tingle of pain in his left wing, looking over he saw that a piece of glass pierced its blood dripping onto the carpet.
Turning his attention to the intruders in the room the blue pegasus that he realized to be Rainbow Dash stood up looking up at him her face in a fierce glare, the orange pony which he knew to be Applejack rolled over to her belly standing up looking round the hallway for something before laying her eyes onto him. Everleaf opened his mouth to talk but Rainbow Dash was quicker to act.
“Hey, Buster did you think you could just take Princess Celestia!” Rainbow stated, getting into an offensive stance and prepared to attack him but was pulled back by Applejack last second. “What was that for!?”
“Cause that ain’t Nightmare Moon sugar cube, look at ‘em,” Applejack said glancing up to Everlead who starred at them wide-eyed “Nightmare Moon was all blue and stuff this fella looks more like the Princess”
“But he could be working for her!” Rainbow countered standing back up and going back to glaring at the Alicorn.
“We aren’t working for nobody but ourselves,” Everfree corrected taking control of Everleaf’s mouth without his input which annoyed the former human. “Now could you please explain why you broke through my precious windows before I detain you?”
Rainbow opened her mouth to speak but was shut by Applejack who glared at her with a ‘You are going to get us killed’ face. “We are looking for a blue mare who looks like ya but with a mane with stars,” Applejack explained.
“That mare has already been defeated before you arrived she was taken away by the so-called Princess Celestia” Everfree answered blankly, Everleaf's ears twitched to the left hearing the clopping of hooves coming closer to the three “But that doesn’t explain why you broke through the window and crashed into me”
“W-Well you see my friend here thought ya were her and stupidly decided to crash into the window” Applejack stuttered, her eyes glancing to the left she took a big gulp as guards appeared rushing at them
"MPHM PPHM!?" Applejack held a firm hoof around rainbows muzzle in return rainbow gave her a death stare. she did not like being insulted when all she did was reasonable in her opinion at least "LEMT MEPH OUPHT!"
"I'm so sorry, but please believe me when ah say ah had no idea she would do anything like that" Applejack explained voice filled with nervousness.
Everfree chuckled to himself at her nervousness and what he was going to say didn't help “If I am to consider you are telling the truth why shouldn’t I arrest you for almost assassination on the King?” Everfree blankly said once again. The guards walked up to the next Everfree glaring at the intruders. “Guards please ar-show them to the throne room” Everleaf ordered finally taking control of his mouth and heavily annoying Everfree
The Guards looked at Everleaf confused but that confusion turned to worry, They quickly noticed his wing “But sire your wing,” one of the guards said dressed in a blue robe with a golden outline “Shouldn’t you get to the infirmary first?”
“I’ll be fine Swift Dagger it is just a flesh wound” Everleaf’s horn glowed his magic flowing around the shard, gritting his teeth as he pulled it out blood splattered against the floor, pulling it out he still felt pain in the wing but at least the shard wouldn’t bother him. Looking up at the ponies he saw that Applejack and Rainbow’s faces were green like they were about to throw up. “Let’s go now shall we?”
**** EVERFREE CASTLE - HALLWAYS ****
The 2 Ponies followed Everleaf surrounded by a bunch of guards who examined each step they made although the two were oblivious to that fact. Rainbow was annoyed that Applejack had essentially led them to be captured by an obvious 'Bad Guy' who even lived in a gigantic castle ripped right out of a foal tale. Applejack thought this could have gone way better but it was at least favorable to anything Dash could have gotten them she thought although being surrounded by a bunch of armored ponies was not the best thing in the world.
Disrupting the silence Everleaf speaks up "So, may I ask why you had to find L- this mare?" Everleaf knew this from his memories but Everfree would not stop screaming at him to ask saying something along the lines of 'THEY COULD BE A WORKER FOR THAT DAMNED SUN ALICORN!' which Everleaf did not understand why he would be worried if they didn't remember them.
Applejack looked at Rainbow shaking her head but was ignored anyway "Why should we tell you!?" rainbow shouted "You have something against the princess!" he shouted was quickly put to an end when Swift Dagger stared daggers at her causing the loud pegasus to shut up.
"Don't yell at the King scumbag" Swift Dagger reprimanded sternly practically scaring the ponies out of their minds before looking forward again. "My king this won't happen again"
"Don't worry, it's not your fault she is hard-headed" Everleaf reassured giving the guardsmare a slight smile "But on the other note. The two of you still need to tell me who sent you here"
"Ahm sorry for her King Everlea-" Applejack suddenly became puzzled for a moment how did she know his name she didn't know this Alicorn would remember someone like him and know to trust him or not as the element of trus- "Agh my head hurts..." applejack held a hoof up to her forehead "What was I talking about again?"
"You were explaining who sent you here" Everleaf looked back at Applejack squinting his eyes, what just happened and why had nobody else noticed her slip up except for him decided to play it safe "Also would you to be sent to the medical wing after this?"
"Ah think that would be a great idea" Applejack shook her head thinking back to the earlier events "We came here looking for the elements of harmony because our Princess had been kidnapped by the nightmare and then Twilight ran to the library and told us how we could defeat her. But it seems you already beat us to it" Applejack chuckled seemingly amused by the events of tonight.
"so you guys came here on your own accord to save the princess from a nightmare with the help of some magical elements" Everleaf even though he knew she was telling the truth couldn't believe it, It sounded so fairytale-like. "Seems like you are living a fairy tale eh?"
"Ya saying that back to me makes my night seem like some kind of dream" She looked down at the floor shaking her head "Ah just hope this is over and done with"
"Understandable, this night has also been crazy for me with your friend over there" Everleaf looked over to Rainbow who was strangely quiet, and immediately saw her glaring at him which made him chuckle. "Calm down no need to be scared"
"Whatever you say, Nightmare Moon or whoever you are" Rainbow would regret saying that when she was hit in the back of her head by a guard "Bastard"
He just giggled before his face suddenly went back to Applejack " But any way you mentioned this twilight could you explain some more?" Everfree took control when Everleaf let his guard down and wanted to know more information about the two ponies.

**** EVERFREE CITY - SWEETIE CAKE BAKERY ****
Twilight had stacks of food on the table some mostly half-bitten, currently Twilight wanted to throw up. she had been forced to buy tons of food and then eat everything while being watched. whenever she was going to say no the baker mare gave her the puppy dog eyes "Dear Celestia... why!?" Twilight said muffled by the amount of food filling her cheeks.
"Ma'am more food is coming up!" The mare happily shouted coming up from the kitchen holding a pie that smelled a lot like a pumpkin "Oh ms you haven't even finished that pie yet!"
"I-I'm sorry" Twilight apologized swallowing the food she had. Twilight regretted every bit of this, she hoped one of the girls would come but it had been half an hour with no sight of anypony.
"It's okay ma'am just make sure to finish everything also all of this will come up to about 1,238 bits!" the mare chirped her smile wide-reaching
Twilight stared at the mare and just wanted to cry so hard, that she had to find a way to escape this horrid bakery before she exploded "C-Could I go to the" Before Twilight could finish she saw a pink figure happily hoppin' down the street.
"To where?" the mare asked puzzled at the abrupt end of her question.
"PINKIE PIE!" The Pinkie Pie turned to her suddenly flashing White to Pink as she walked over, Twilight's eyes widened in surprise as the flashing mare hopped over to the bakery. Pinkie's flashing suddenly stopped, she had become a White pegasus with a yellow mane "W-What th-"
Suddenly the baker mare tapped on Twilight's shoulder startling her "You okay miss?" The baker asked looking puzzled "You kinda started to stare into nothingness"
"Yeah!" A bubbly voice said. Looking to the left Pinkie Pie was there sitting down "You were just like Gummy whenever I'm baking, WAIT HAVE I EVER TOAD YOU ABOUT GUMMY!"
"I-i no?" Twilight was confused when di-... Twilight suddenly lost her train of thought getting a giant headache. Pinkie started to tap about an alligator or something but was stopped when Twilight put her hoof to her mouth "N-not now"
"Anyway... ma'am your friend had eaten everything when you were all zoned out," the baker said handing Twilight a receipt "So... how about those bits?" the mare had a dollar sign in her eyes.
"Oh.. uh Pinkie do you have any bits on you?" Twilight asked turning to Pinkie with a giant grin "Because I left mine at Ponyville" She was completely lying and the Baker mare saw through it but..
"Of course Twilight!" Pinkie chirped pulling out a bag from her mane and plopping it on the table "That should be 2000!" When Pinkie said that Twilight looked over at her with amazement.
"Thank you, ma'am" The baker took the bag and left them alone going into the back of the bakery where a loud cheer was heard.
"ugh... Pinkie have you seen any of the gals around?" Twilight asked groaning in pain. "Because... uh Oh yeah Nightmare Moon!"
"I saw Rainbow and Applejack!" Pinkie loudly stated. "But they were all like Whoosh and Applejack was like AHHHHHH then they went into a window with CRASH" Pinkie was somehow acting out all of the events proving physics wrong. "then I walked down the street and then I heard HELP and now I found you!"
"THEY WENT INTO A CASTLE!?" Twilight swiftly stood up and ran out of the bakery to stare up at the giant castle in the distance "OH YOU GOT TO BE BUCKING KIDDING ME!"
"And I thought I was living in a foal tale!" Pinkie exclaimed hoping over to the annoyed Unicorn "I wonder who lives up there and if they like sweets!"
"I-I wah" Twilight darted at the mare giving Pinkie the 'Are you serious' look "Oh dear Celestia why have you sent me here!"
**** CANTERLOT CASTLE - THRONE ROOM ****
Celestia paced back in forth in her throne room her face wearing a worried expression. Thinking back to all the events that happened tonight she felt weak and fearful of what this could mean for Equestria, She stood in the face of a possible new danger and did nothing about it. What could this mean for her little ponies and what about the whereabouts of Twilight? "Why does today have to be so stressful!" she shouted out loud "The prophecy never said anything about a goddamn Forest Alicorn and strange Forest ponies!"
"Princess, you need to calm down" A Brown pegasus with a butter mare dawning red armor with a golden frame, and a sharp sword at his side, stood in the middle of the throne room staring up at the panicked/annoyed Princess "Explain to me what exactly happened"
Celestia looked down at the Stallion, his name was Dawn Blade a general in the EEM aka the Equestrian Emergency Militia, the EEM was formerly the Equestrian War Force but the EWF was shrunken and dissolved into the EEM after the world became a much more peaceful place. Celestia took a big breath soothing her nerves "I'm sorry General Blade" she said, "But.. to explain, essentially when my sister or Alicorn I brought to the infirmary was attacked by an unforeseen forest Alicorn deeming himself the King of the Everfree"
"King of the Everfree?" Blade scoffed at that title "A forest? With what population god damn timber wolves!" he was going to say something else but Celestia said something that made him shake a little.
"I would have taken it as a jest as well if he didn't have a magic Aura stronger than my own," Celestia said striking the general to the core "From what I saw he did have some other ponies with him, and they seem to already fix up a base for themselves in my old castle"
"So they are an unknown force with the power you can't even dream of touching if I'm understanding this right Chancellor?" General Blade asked raising his eyebrow at that Princess who suddenly glared at him perplexed about something.
"i-i uhm yes, that is what is currently happening" She swore she had heard the general slip up and say something else but she couldn't remember what... she forgot all about that when sunlight hit the left side of her face "W-What!" she turned to the window and seen the sunrise in the distance above the Everfree.
"Princess, is something wrong?" he turned to the window gazing upon the everfree spotting the city that rivaled Canterlot's beauty when the sun flew over it "My Celestia... they already have a city" he thought that this must be what turned her off and surprised her.
Celestia sighed sitting down and looking at the sunrise without any of her input, the events of tonight were already a major turn from the usual harmony and peace she was used to with an Alicorn claiming to be a king operating in a forest essentially right next to her home but now the sun raised without any need of her. "General, prepare a force of around 25 soldiers and station them around Ponyville" she ordered "We have no idea what this 'King' wishes for, and being prepared is our best option"
"Understood your Highness" The general left the throne room leaving the Princess alone to think about everything that had happened.
"Oh... what is happening..."
**** CANTERLOT CASTLE - TRAINING YARD ****
Dawn Blade walked into the yard and headed toward the barracks, he didn't show it but he felt worried about sending these troops into Ponyville so suddenly. What if this king attacked them because of their sudden actions, was all he could think of when entering the barracks.
"listen up, the princess needs 25 of you down at Ponyville proto" he announced gaining everyone's attention "Raise your hooves if you volunteer" The soldiers started to talk about why they were suddenly being deployed but Dawn couldn't care and just wanted to get this shit done "DO I NEED TO REPEAT MYSELF!?"
His screaming caused some hooves to be raised but was only able to get 24 volunteers, "Fine, I'll go as well if you idiots aren't strong enough" he glared at his troops before turning and leaving "and be ready at dusk, THAT'S A ORDER!"
He sighed, he wanted to relax and get rid of all this stress but all that happened was just paperwork, and now he probably got more with the sudden deployment. "ah jeez" Dawn looked at the training yard spotting an old friend of his "Shining armor!"
The stallion turned to Dawn with a smile on his face "Long time no see Dawn" Shining was showing his sword skills to cadets before Dawn interrupted "Even though we work in the same place"
"Ey I was busy alright!" Dawn started to laugh a little before looking at the cadets "Y'know I couldn't believe it when I heard your marefriend was a Princess"
"Guess you should be calling me a Prince" Shining jested patting Dawn on the back "She's not a Princess but an Alicorn isn't far away from one"
"What about an Alicorn of a forest?" Dawn asked
"What would they do, summon a tree?" shining replied, he liked Dawn but they never talked anymore unfortunately due to them working in different divisions "Hey, Ya have any plans for the weekend?"
Dawn was in his thoughts only being snapped out by Shining "Well... no" he said rubbing the back of his head "but I'm going down to Ponyville"
"Gr- Ponyville? Why" Shining was confused, all of a sudden "Did something happen?"
"Well the princess has decided it would be a good option because an Alicorn has taken up in the Everfree" Dawn explained stunning Shining
"Well, I won't bother you Dawn" Shining sighed looking down "Be safe out here bro, I don't need to see you dead"
Dawn shook his head before he left for the storage room to gather the items he needed like MREs, Towels, etc

Somewhere in Equestria in an undocumented battle zone, a Pure white hoof breaks out of the ground flesh and fur fall off something crawls out of the ground, its snow-white fur stained, with blood, maggots crawl out of pits in their flesh, flesh drops off of exposing bone and guts, their mane flowing in the wind. They stretched their skeletal wings and charged their sharp horn.
"I-I hav... r-r-returned!" a dark female voice announced shivering in the breeze.
