The dragon who defended Hiersindwir for a millennium finally faces his perturbation. What does freedom really mean, when demanded of you by god?

The Traveler gets separated from their sibling and sealed upon confrontation with an unknown god. Later, the Traveler wakes up and rescues Deco from water and the two set out on their journey in Equestria.

The Traveler and Deco visit the Statue of the Seven at Sternenfell Lake. The Traveler resonates with the Anemo element after touching the statue.

After obtaining Anemo powers, the Traveler tries them out against enemies.

As the Traveler and Deco are going to the City of Hiersindwir, they see a dragon flying above and go to check out the situation in the Flüstern Woods. After scaring the dragon and a mysterious girl off, they collect a Crimson Crystal that was left behind.

After exiting the woods, the Traveler and Deco run into Sunset Shimmer. After Deco explains about the Traveler's lost sibling, Sunset volunteers to help them.

The group spots a nearby timberwolf camp, and Sunset explains about her task to clear them. After defeating the timberwolves, they resume traveling to the City of Hiersindwir.

Sunset formally introduces the Traveler and Deco to the City of Hiersindwir. She gives the Traveler a Wind glider as a present and teaches them how to use it.

Sturmterror comes and causes chaos in the City of Hiersindwir before the Traveler fends him off. Then, the trio meet Soarin before heading to the Knights of Günstig headquarters.

When the group visit the Knights of Günstig headquarters, Night Glider briefs them on the mission to cut off Sturmterror's power at three of the Four Zephyrs' Temples.

To stop Sturmterror's siege, you must venture out and eliminate the elemental flows left within the ruined Temples of the Four Zephyrs. Sunset is waiting for you at the Temple of the Falcon.

Soarin will accompany you to explore the Temple of the Wolf.

Capper is in charge of clearing the Deep Within the Temple of the Lion alongside you.

"So... what you're trying to say is that you fell here... from another world?"

You and your sibling fell down like meteorites and roam around the world like fireflies.

"But when you wanted to leave, and go on to the next world, your path was blocked by some unknown god?"

Upon exiting, a red star shaped orb formed in front of you. You and your sibling watched in terror as a tall figure came out and stood in front of you both.

"Outlanders, your journey ends here!" the god spoke firmly.

"Who are you?!"

"The sustainer of heavenly principles. The arrogation of mankind ends now!" as she summoned a red-black cube, and begin to fight with you and your sibling. Both pf you summoned your wings and swords. You fly around as a path red-black cubes chase you and your pal around. You continued the battle with the Unknown God, but it is futile. Your sibling's sword was captured into her source and is engulfed by a swarm of red-and-black cubes and condensed into a single cube in the god's hand.

"S/n!" You called out.

You dashed behind the god and attempted to stab her, causing a massive explosion. Thinking you've succeeded, you found an ambush of cubes and the god still alive. You ended up like your sibling as well, slowly getting engulfed by her magic.

"Wait! Don't go! Give my sibling back!" You yelled before you were surrounded completely.

And just like that, the god took away my sibling. Some kind of seal was cast upon me, and I lost my power. So whilst we used to cross and travel from world to world, we are now trapped here.

"How many years ago was it? I don't know...But I intend to find out. After I awoke, I was all alone — right up until I met you two months ago." you said, turning to me.

"Yeah, Deco really owes you for that. Otherwise Deco likely would have drowned... ! So, Deco will do her best to be a great guide!" I said happily.

You and I turned to the view of you surroundings and felt the wind flow from one direction to the other.

"We should head off. Let's get going!" I chanted. I flew around as you follow me. Suddenly, a jiggly water blob popped out out of nowhere. You grabbed your sword and slashed it away. You still managed to see me, next to a big pin-like figure.

It seems to be a Teleport Waypoint. You then followed me, as you find many materials in your area. Lizards, animals, flowers, fruits, and food. You and I ended up in a foot of a small cliff.

"The path ends here — guess we'll just have to climb. Climbing depletes stamina, and depleted stamina takes time to recover!" I said.

You continued to climb the steep cliff. Thankfully, it took you a few seconds to get to the top.

"Okay, let's take the route we planned! We're off to... a Statue of The Seven! Which of The Seven are you looking for exactly?"

As you and I followed the path, you collected more food and materials. Then, you saw a nearby cliff. I immediately teleported to the end of it.

"Oh wowwwww!" I said, admiring the scenery. You followed me and saw the whole view of nearly the whole region.

"That's a Statue of The Seven!" I pointed to a statue that's glowing red. "There are a few of these statues scattered across the land to show The Seven's protection over the world. Among the seven gods, this god controls the wind. Deco's not sure whether the god you're looking for is the Anemo God, but...Deco'll take you to the Anemo God's place first, and there's a reason why~"

As you wondered around being distracted, while I fly to the trail, I noticed you. "Hey! Where are you going? Come to Deco! Don't stray too far from Deco!". You heard her and ran to me immediately. "You should follow Deco for now...". I continued to talk along the way.

"As we all know, poetry and language flow like the wind...There'll definitely be someone there who knows about your sibling. At least, that's what Deco thinks! Whether the gods actually answer you is a different story. You never know unless you try. So, let's hop to it!" I exclaimed. After some time, the trail ends in a lake, and has a small island, with the statue I was referring to. "You can swim right over!" I said, as I simply flew over the lake and landed on the island, while you, not being able to float, you swim to the island. It took only a few seconds to get to me.

Unexpected Power

Both you and I looked up at the statue. You walked towards the statue, touched its bottom base. Suddenly, the statue lost its glowing ruby color, to a cyan glow. A young winged woman on top of the statue was holding an orb. The orb glowed as well, as another one formed and went towards you.

You gasped as you looked around your body.

"Ooh! Did you just feel the elements of the world?" I said. "Seems all you had to do was just touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo! As much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you..."

"I think I know why, it's because..." you said.

"Ah-ha! it's because you're not from this world to begin with."

"This can't be good..."

"It's a bit rude to say that about the power the gods just gave you!" I scolded. "If we keep heading west from here, we'll eventually reach Hiersindwir, the City of Freedom. Hiersindwir is the city of wind, because they worship the God of Anemo. So perhaps, because you got power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there. There are also lots of bards there, so perhaps one of them has heard news of your sibling. Let's move then! The elements in this world responded to your prayers and Deco thinks that's a lovely sign."

Suddenly, fiery slimes, called Pyro Slimes, have popped out behind you. You decided to test your powers you just got. Your hand summoned a wind orb and blew the Pyro Slimes to ashes immediately. More popped out, then your power bursted into a tornado and dragged the slimes to the lake, killing them.

"These are the Anemo powers you got from the Statue of the Seven! Aww... Deco's so jealous! Why doesn't Deco get cool fighting powers!?"

Forest Rendezvous

As you walked around, picking up some materials as usual, you saw a big shadow going in your direction, you looked up to see a huge, blue and violet dragon, bigger than a whole ship!

"Wow! What is that!?" I exclaimed. "There's something huge, in the sky! It's headed towards the heart of the forest. We must proceed with caution."

Your journey to Hiersindwir has been paused. You and I ran to the forest the same dragon flew to. It took you a long time because of cliffs, rivers, and small hills. Soon, you and I walked quietly in the Flüstern Woods.

"Huh? Look at that!" I said, pointing at a direction. Both of you immediately hid behind a tree, and watched the dragon. You spotted a young mare, offering a hand to the dragon. The mare was light blue in color and colorful mane with more of cyan in her strands, with frilly white top with a leather midsection corset, along with along with blue pants with gold embroidery, with a cloth and bag around her waist. She has her hair tied in a ponytail and white and blue cape splitted into half.

" ...Don't be afraid. ...It's alright now, I'm back."

"Is she talking... to a dragon?" I said. One spot of your clothes glow with your power."Oh?". Suddenly, the dragon roar at the mare.

"Who's there!?" scolded the mare. The mare glow cyan and teleported out of the scene, leaving the dragon roaring wildly as you and I watched. The dragon immediately flew and left.

"That was close! Deco almost got blown away! Luckily Deco managed to grab hold of your hair! Thanks."

"Good thing the dragon didn't notice us and you didn't pull my hair out." you responded.

"Just what was that? Deco thought we were gonna get eaten! It definitely has something to do with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon..."

"I can't believe dragons exist in this world..." you said.

"Yeah, Deco gets why you're worried..."

"...Is talking to dragons normal?"

I crossed her arms. "Of course not!". I turned to something in the same spot the dragon was left.

"Oh? What's that? There's some kind of shiny red thingy on the big rock over there...Let's go take a closer look." Deco said as I flew to the object, while you climbed to the rock."

"Be careful! Deco doesn't have a good feeling about this..."

As you climbed up, both of you and I looked closely at a tear-shaped crimson crystal.

"Deco's never seen a stone like this before, so Deco can't tell what it is. All Deco knows is that it's dangerous. Best we put it away for now." I said. You carefully grabbed the gem and stored it.

"Okay, we've got it! Now let's get out of here."

As you and I left the forest, you heard a voice shouting.

"Hey, you! Stop right there!" a mare shouted. You and I looked around, then in front of you came out a mare who jumped from a cliff. You and I gazed at the mare in shock. She has orange-yellow skin, and has a white-brown jumper and brown shorts. She also has a dark red hoodie, magenta thigh highs and gloves and black boots.

Also has a brown belt with bags and a charm shaped like a shimmering sun with a fire symbol charm adorned with gold wings, and a gold tail and spikes that has two red ribbons with flame patterns and two white-yellow diamonds at the bottom. She has her yellow-red hair tied in a bun at the back, and leaving her front hair and bangs. She also has a bow-and-arrow on her back.

"May the Anemo God protect you, stranger! I am Sunset Shimmer, Outrider for the Knights of Günstig. You don't look like citizens of Hiersindwir. Explain yourselves!"

"We're not looking for trouble...!" I said.

"That's what all the troublemakers say."

"Hello, I'm a Traveler."

"...Doesn't sound local to me." Sunset said. "And this... mascot, what's the deal with it?" she said, glancing at the small pony floating next to you.

"We're friends!" you said.

"We've only been traveling partners for two months, but...We've already become the very best of friends!"

"Ummm...Emergency food?" you said.

"Hey! That's even worse than being a mascot!" Deco said.

"So to sum it up, you're traveling partners, right? Well look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Hiersindwir recently. Best you get inside the city as soon as possible. It's not far from here, I'll escort you there."

"Oh? Aren't you out here for some other reason?" I said.

"I am. But not to worry, I can keep you both safe while doing that too. Besides... I'm still not sure if I can trust you two just yet!"

"Why so suspicious? That's a rather rude way to speak to guests." you said.

"Oh, ahh... I'm sorry. Probably not something I should say as a knight." Sunset said. "I give you my apologies, uh... strange yet... respectable travelers."

"That sounded so fake!"

"Do you have something against the type of language usage prescribed by the Knights of Günstig Handbook!?"

Suddenly, a floating slimes appeared airborne. Sunset charged at it with her bow, popping it into air. As Sunset escorts the two, she broke the silence.

"So, suspicious travelers, what are you doing in Hiersindwir?" Sunset said.

"They got separated from their sibling during a really, really long journey. Deco is their travel buddy, helping them to find their sibling." I said.

"Oh, looking for your family... Huh. Ah...Okay! Let me finish my other stuff first, and then I can help you put up posters around the city..."

"What exactly is it you need to finish doing first?" I said.

"It's simple. You'll understand in a bit." Sunset said.

Going Upon The Breeze

As Sunset escorted you and I, getitng closer to Hiersindwir, a creature popped up.

"Ah! A storm creature!" I shrieked.

"Quick! Get it!" Sunset said as she charged her arrow and her elemental skills. You summoned your sword and immediately charged at the storm creature, while Sunset puts up a fire, causing your Anemo powers to spread it and injure the alien.

"These monsters have been getting too close to the city recently. My task this time is to clear out their camp." Sunset said as she followed the footprint of the creature, leading it 3 more timberwolves. I just float there, as you and Sunset attacked the creatures. "Get them!" Sunset shouted. "I'll never surrender!"

With one final blow of your tornado, the storm creatures whimpered as they slowly faded into ashes.

"Heh, nothing to it. Though I've gotta say, you surprised me a little with your moves there...Thanks for the backup. How'd it feel?" Sunset said.

"Barely broke a sweat...but those things are tougher than they look." you said.

"Now that you mention it, how is it the timberwolves ended up here?" I said. "These creatures don't seem like the type to set up camp so close to cities like this."

"Exactly. It's more normal for them to be much further out in the wilderness. But because the dragon — Sturmterror — has been around a lot more recently, our orchards have been destroyed and the local market has been affected as well. When the storms hit, we usually end up with at least a few injuries, so the Knights of Günstig have been tied up doing the best they can to defend the area." Sunset explained.

"So these annoying creatures have been getting closer and closer to the city?"

"Exactly. That said, clearing this camp helped make the area a little bit safer. Come with me! A responsible knight must make sure to see you to the city safely."

City of Freedom

View Online

After some time, you and I are now standing in the entrance of a walled city, Hiersindwir. Full of windmills, houses, and goods. It's population wasn't too high nor too low. Its music had a peaceful rings from the bards to your ears. You can even see a detail of a statue of the god they worship.

"Let me officially introduce the city of wind, dandelions, and freedom — Travelers under the protection of the Knights of Günstig — Welcome to Hiersindwir!" Sunset said.

"Finally, no more having to camp outdoors!" I cheered. "But... the city folk don't look too cheery."

"Everyone's been put out of place by Sturmterror recently. But everything will turn out fine as long as Night Glider's with us!" Sunset said.

"Night Glider?"

"Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Günstig — Night Glider, Defender of Hiersindwir. With Night Glider on our side, surely even the vicious Sturmterror will be no match for us." Sunset said.

"Sounds like someone pretty impressive...I hope she knows something about the God of Anemo..." you thought.

"Before I take you guys to the Knights of Günstig Headquarters, I have a present for you, Traveler." Sunset said. "It's a reward for helping me clear out that timberwolf camp."

"He-Hey! Why doesn't Deco get a reward?!" I said.

"Ahh... Because this reward is useless to you, Deco. But I'll treat you to a traditional Hiersindwir delicacy — Hiersindwirian Stick Honey Roast!" Sunset said.

"Hiersindwirian Sticky Honey Roast!" I cheered.

"Come with me, we'll head to the city's ahh...high ground." Sunset said, as she escorted you once more to the city's high ground. There were MANY steps on the way up. Sunset seems to be used in these, but you already have your toes in pain, and I am still joyful as I flew to the stairs.

Finally, you, me, and Sunset stopped at the big statue you saw earlier when you arrived the city.

"So, the present I want to give you is...a wind glider!" Sunset said, showing it to you. Outriders use them to ride the wind, and the people of Hiersindwir love using them too. I brought you here to give it to you so you can experience it right away!"

"Oh, you're really excited about these wind gliders, huh!" I said.

"Well that's because the wind is the heart and soul of Hiersindwir." Sunset said. "Alrighty then, enough talk! Let's give it a whirl! It's easy to use, but you still need to pay attention to my instructions."

As Sunset carefully led you to a pillar, you walked slowly, and Sunset was on your expected destination. You jumped as you pulled the rope, unfolding the glider. You carefully glide down slowly, as the wind currents blew you to the fountain Sunset was in. Sunset clapped her hands as you landed. I landed after you.

Dragon Storm

Sunset continued clap until she noticed something about the sky. You, me and Sunset looked up.

"The sky..." Sunset said. Suddenly, something familiar flew. It was the dragon you saw earlier with that colorful mare. The Dragone flew building to building. Everyone ran to evacuate while you stood there shocked. As the dragon roared, 3 dark tornadoes formed in your view. z

You and Sunset ran to shelter immediately. But suddenly, a gush of wind surrounded you pulled you into the tornado. As you were tossed, you pulled the wind glider, and saw the view of Hiersindwir in danger. Suddenly, Sturmterror flew towards you , but you managed to dodge it. The wind Sturmterror made caused you to fly back, and pull your wind glider.

"Huh? How are you staying afloat like this with just a Wind Glider?" I said.

"I'm preventing your fall with the power of a thousand winds." a familiar voice said. "Now, concentrate. See yourself grasping the wind. Harness its energy." she said once more.

"Who... who said that!?" I said. You ignored me and continued to shoot Sturmterror on his back. You shoot his tail and wing, causing him to roar in pain, as he flew faster and higher, not to be seen again in your sight. You eventually gave up and flew back to the surface, where Sunset was waiting for your arrival. Sunset ran up to you.

"A-Are you hurt?!" Sunset said. You shook your head. Suddenly, a tall stallion walks up to both of you, clapping his hooves.

He dons a glorious white fur cloak and a light blue unbottoned jacket. Underneath is a white shirt. He wears navy, black fingerless gloves, a gold earring, a chain, brown boots, and a belt with the the same charm Sunset has, but it resembles a thunderbolt with wings, and the only difference is that the smaller charm is snowflake shaped and cyan in color, plus addorned with smaller wings. He also has long hair tied into a ponytail, and has long bags, covering one portion of his eyepatch.

"You've actually got the power to go up against the dragon...Are you a new ally... or a new storm?" the stallion spoke.

"Sturmterror... is attacking Mondstadt itself! Soarin, Traveler, you've come at the right time. We must...

"Hold on, Sunset. Are you perhaps forgetting to introduce us?" he said.

"Oh... right. This is Soarin, our Cavalry Captain. These two are travelers from afar, a Traveler and Deco."

"From afar? Is that all we know of them?" Soarin thought.

"Long story short..." Sunset said. As Sunset tells Soarin the whole story...

"I see. Welcome to Hiersindwir — though you haven't arrived at the best of times, I'm afraid. I understand the anguish of being separated from family. I'm not really sure why you're looking for the Anemo God..." Soarin said. "But everyone has their secrets, right? Haha, relax! I won't press you for more. First and foremost, on behalf of the Knights of Günstig, I would like to extend our thanks to you for your help just now."

"Well, we couldn't just leave the situation to fester. You're welcome! So... Ah... Where's the reward?" you said.

"Ahh... How about a traditional Hiersindwir delicacy, Sticky Honey Roast?" Soarin said.

"I just heard about that one!"

"Your fight to defend the city against the dragon just now was witnessed by no small number of citizens. The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Günstig is also very interested in meeting you, and formally invites you both to our headquarters." Soarin said. They gave you a minute and looked around Hiersindwir. Many guards have came around.

"That dragon could return at any time. The Knights of Günstig will keep watch; everyone else is urged to find shelter immediately."

"This is an emergency. Please be assured that the Knight of Günstig's first priority is to guarantee the safety of everyone in the city."

"We are currently experiencing abnormal weather patterns. It is dangerous outside. Citizens are advised to seek shelter."

You found a blacksmith stallion still outside.

"What? Speak up, I can't hear you." he said.

"Aren't you going to find shelter?"

"Shelter? It'd take a much bigger storm than this to keep me away from my blacksmith's...The wrought iron here spends all day getting hammered into shape. People, on the other hand, don't get that chance as often — so make the most of it." he said. You immediately left and spotted a strange looking guard with a mask and dark attire. You went up to him.

"Just like his excellency said..." he said.

"Aren't you going to find shelter?"

"Hmph, I'm enjoying the view! This is a golden opportunity for the Ya Burv Durnyy to...To ask you to mind your own business! This wind is nothing compared to back home in Krio, so stop making a mountain out of a molehill. Go away!" he said. You immediately left and ran to the headquarters.

"This seems to be the Knights of Günstig Headquarters. Let's head in." I said. "This is the Knights of Günstig Headquarters. Let's take a look inside." I said as you looked around the headquarters, accompanied by Sunset and Soarin.

Knights of Günstig

View Online

In the office, waits the Acting Grand Master, Night Glider. She wears a pair of gold earrings, sleeveless blue button-up under a black vest with a long blue tailcoat attached to it, a pair of separate black sleeves, a short blue and gold cloak attached to a white collar, blue tights embroidered with a gold diamond-dot pattern, a pair of white high-heeled knee-high boots, and a pair of white gauntlets. There is a golden Knights of Günstig on the front of her vest. A bottom part of her hair was tied in a tiny braid. She has the same charm Sunset and Soarin has, but its symbol was a cresent moon surrounded with two feathers and and the smaller charm underneath is the same element you have obtained, by looking at the symbol with wings on it.

She keeps watching over the grandfather clock that was between two big shelves filled with a lot of books. She was accompanied by someone in her office. It was a tall cat with a black, gold and red velvet coat jacket, with one arm inserted on its sleeve, formal pants, and has a belt attached with tasles and small lamps, and wears a small hat. A gold orb with a diamond symbol hangs on the lock of his jacket.

"Night Glider, what's the hurry? I thought we agreed to meet them here." The man spoke.

"There have been sightings of Sturmterror outside the city. Once we meet, we must..."

"Relax. I'll lend a hand when the time comes." the cat said.

Soarin immediately comes in. "Night Glider, I've brought them.". The cat and Night Glider turned to them. Soarin explained about you and I and the purpose of being here in Hiersindwir.

"...And once it was over I brought them straight here." Soarin said.

"Hiersindwir welcomes you, windborne travelers. I am Night Glider, Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Günstig. This is Capper, our resident Librarian."

"Oh! Are you sweeties here to help us out? You're both so adorable! Sadly, the timing is regrettable..." Capper said. "Sturmterror has caused quite a ruckus in the region since its recent resurgence. Simply put, Hiersindwir's elemental sphere and ley lines are now akin to a yarn ball in the paws of a kitten. For a mage, it couldn't get much worse. My fur is one elemental particle away from a full-blown breakout."

"If it weren't for this interference, the Knights of Favonius would have better ways to help you than just putting up missing person posters." Night Glider said. "We simply ask that you repose in Hiersindwir while we help you seek out your sibling."

"Guess we leave it up to you then. Where's the inn?" you said.

"Hey! Don't be such a slug! We should be a part of this too!"

"I really should help out as well."

"Deco will help too!"

"Good. In that case we need a plan." Soarin said.

"With Sturmterror now directly attacking Hiersindwir, we may have an opportunity to cut this problem off at the source." Night Glider said. "Capper has revealed the sources of Sturmterror's power with her detection magic."

"Is that so?"

"They're located in the abandoned Four Zephyrs' Temples." Capper said. "Sturmterror's ability to whip up these kinds of storms can be attributed to it drawing power from the temples.

"Our objective is to deal with three of the four temples. I trust everyone understands why we are only dealing with three." Night Glider said.

"Deco doesn't." I said.

"It must be a local thing...We'll ask later..." you said.

"Knights of Günstig, time is against us. The storm is rampant. There is no point in maintaining a defensive position." Night Glider said. "Alright. We need to take initiative and act before the situation escalates.". All of you walked out of the head quarters, and Sunset, Soarin, and Capper were divided to go to each temple.

"You're not bad with that wind glider. Your gliding style seems familiar..." Soarin said.

"How'd you get your eye patch?" you asked.

"My eye patch? Wanna hear my story, eh? I didn't have time to introduce myself properly... Well, it wasn't on my mind to begin with." he said, trying to get some words. "Ehe... My apologies. I'm Kaeya, Cavalry Captain for the Knights of Günstig. We can talk more after we get things sorted."

"Why is Night Glider the Acting Grand Master?"

"The Grand Master is currently off leading an expedition, so the Master, Night Glider, has stepped in to oversee the Knights while he's gone. Hence, you'll hear many refer to her as the Acting Grand Master. When the Grand Master left, he took the vast majority of our knights with him, leaving the Acting Grand Master with far more responsibility and stress. Come to think of it, it must have been difficult for Night Glider."

"Goodbye." you said.

"See you later then." Soarin said, as he headed of to one of the temples.

You then walked to Capper.

"I'm Capper, the librarian. Do you need anything, cutie?" Capper said with a slight seductive voice.

"I'd like to know more about monsters." you said.

"The monsters out in the wild? We've got many resources here in the library. Making good use of elemental advantages is the key to winning any battle. By the way, would you be interested in having a part-time job here? We need people to... need people for doing... We just need more people."

"How do we fight Sturmterror?"

"A way to fight against Stormterror..." Capper said. "I'm sorry, but there's no way to do it alone. Judging by the level of its Anemo power, it's definitely not an ordinary creature. I could teach you some elemental basics, so you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about."

"Goodbye."

"Heading out? See you in a bit." Capper said as he left for the temple.

You then turned to Night Glider.

"Thank you for accepting our invitation, traveler." Night Glider said.

"How do we fight Sturmterror?"

"Its change in size and power really is suspicious. But for the Knights of Günstig, our priority is to deal with the aftermath of this attack. The Grand Master entrusted the Knights of Günstig to me. I cannot let him or the people of Hiersindwir down. I must get to the bottom of this..."

"Are all the knights as... "strict" as Sunset?"

"I heard you and Outrider Sunset had a misunderstanding. Please forgive her. She was just doing her job. Talk to Sunset sometime. I'm sure you'll like how energetic she always is."

"Goodbye."

"Thanks again for your help, Traveler." Night Glider said,as she headed back to her desk.

You then went to Sunset.

"Wanna team up with me? Huh, I should warn you though, I don't slow down for anyone, greenhorn or otherwise." Sunset said.

"Night Glider seems to be pretty reliable." you said.

"With Night Glider by our side, nothing can stand in our way! ...At least, that's what I wanna say...But I can't keep spouting that same old line. She always dashes headlong into the heat of the battle, and we want her to take better care of herself. I really hope that one day I can look Night Glider in the eye and tell her she doesn't need to worry anymore, because we have her back... " Sunset said.

"You seem pretty good with a wind glider." you said.

"As a novice within the Knights of Günstig, your understanding of the wind is absolutely crucial. Leave the advanced wind glider training to me!"

"Goodbye."

"Let's all do our best to defeat Sturmterror!"

Winds of the Past ft. Sunset Shimmer

You and I first followed Sunset to one of the temples. The Temple of the Falcon.

"This is it. One of the deserted temples of The Four Winds. These temples have been left to waste for years now. The people of Mondstadt almost never come here." Sunset said. "There's a chance there's a monster nest or a storm creature camp inside. Even Stormterror has given up on its own temple."

You gasped. "Sturmterror...Wait, did you just say "its own temple..."?"

"...Yes." Sunset slowly nodded. "I also find it hard to accept, but... Sturmterror was once one of The Four Zephyrs."

"Ehhhh!?" I exclaimed. A gush of unusual wind blew through our paths in a moderate pace.

"Wait... Did you just feel that? The wind here... Something's off...Let's go in and take a look, Traveler. Be careful, the dragon's power is disturbing this area." Sunset said. Three of us ran to the temple. "Everyone in Mondstadt is still getting blown about by the storm...Every second we waste is a mark against the name of Günstig. Let's get in that temple, stat!". We both looked at the temple, and pushed the solid rock door, leading us to a black void, that leads us to a big domain. We are now standing in a small hallway, in a locked door.

" You can use that console to open the door." Sunset said, looking at the gadget next to the door. I flew in your side as you pressed the mechanism. The rock door slowly opened. "Wow! I can see so far into the temple!" Sunset exclaimed, as we went furhter into the domain, and opened a portal called the Resurrection Door. Sunset a lone storm creature.

Sunset armed her bow and charged at it with fire, hitting its shield. We all glided down to the hilichurl and charged it with skill. "Oh no! A horn! The fighting must have got them riled up. Well, good thing I've prepared my secret weapon: Explosive Puppet!" Sunset cheered as she threw it to the enemy reinforcements. The creatures gathered at the puppet, until it blew up and and turned one into ashes. You dealed with the other hilichurl with sword swings and slashes, as Sunset bursted her elemental skill. She made it rain Pyro arrows until the storm creature dies off.

We headed into the next room. "Are those explosive barrels over there? Well... One shot should be able to blow them up!" Sunset said, aiming all of them, quickly, burning the storm creatures. You lef tthe storm creatures as you reached to a chasm and a tall structure. "It's so high... Seems like there's something up there." Sunset said.

"But how do we get across?" I said. I spotted a unique structure nearby. "Isn't this... a Pyro Monument?" I said, then an idea popped up. "If we hit it with a powerful Pyro attack, we might trigger it!". Sunset nodded as she aimed her burning arrow on the monument, creating wind currents. You and Sunset excitedly glided up to the top of the building, while I flew there, waiting for you.

You both landed safely and saw a glowing teal stone. "Dragon's breath! Is that where the power is coming from? Great, let's smash it!" Sunset said as I kicked and punched the rock rapidly, and you guys try shattering it with your weapons. It was a very hard rock from a very big dragon. With one final blow, the boulder has been smashed. "Phew! I'm tired. But, at least this way we've helped Night Glider out. In the past, we were at least able to defend the city and keep it safe. This, of course, is mostly thanks to Night Glider. But now with Sturmterror directly attacking the city itself..."The winds change, so too should our tactics."." Sunset said.

"Sounds deep. Did you come up wuth it?" you said.

"It's what Capper likes to say. Speaking of which, The Four Zephyrs we were discussing earlier...If you want to learn more about our history, you can ask Capper. ...I'm not saying I don't know our history! It's just...I mean... A librarian is supposed to be more knowledgeable than an Outrider, right?"

Crash Course ft. Soarin

You and I then headed to the next temple, the Temple of the Wolf. Soarin now waits for us outside.

"You've arrived." Soarin said. "Come closer. Can you smell that?". You followed his instructions.

"...I can't smell anything." you said. You sniffed for a while. " It's the smell of burnt Pyro Slimes."

"Something must have happened in the temple." Soarin said. "I imagine there will be slimes, storm creatures, and... whatever is giving Sturmterror extra power. Oh yes, it is going to be lively in there indeed!"

"Will it be dangerous?" you asked.

"As bustling as it may be — no, I can't imagine it will be dangerous at all."

"No doubt nothing more than a disorderly mob of creatures."

"Oh, ho-ho! You're quite the brave one, aren't you!" Soarin cheered. "It's a pity that the Temple of the Wolf has been disturbed by such an atrocity. Let's head in, Traveler. No one makes offerings to The Four Winds anymore, yet the old winds never vanish... We need to clear out the temples, for The Four Zephyrs.". We all walked to the door of the temple. "My first chance to fight beside you. Think we'll make a good team?" Soarin asked as giggled as opened the temple's solid doors, leading into a domain. "Let me show you how the Knights of Günstig conquer our adversaries!" Soarin said as he pulled out his sword.

We all then opened a Resurrection Door as we walked straight into the temple. It was much like the previous temple you went to with Sunset. As we entered the first room, Soarin looked up. "Hmm. If I'm not mistaken, the end of the temple should be up there."

"Wait... How do you know?" I asked.

"Heh, experience." Soarin said. "...The kind of experience you get after years of dealing with things like this for others.". You then spotted a group of storm creatures. All of us flew to the solid surface. The storm creatures attacked you as soon as they heard our steps. I gasped as Soarin turned to them.

"Freeze!" Soarin shouted as he shoot flakes and gushes of ice and snow. Since the surface was set, and the storm creatures are so, the effect caused the storm creatures to actually freeze. You slashed the statues with your sword as a wind blade flashed of your weapon and destroyed the statues. "Traveler... Unless I'm mistaken, you don't seem to have a Vision Mark.". Soarin said, not spotting a single glowing orb, and signifying its element. Soarin has said it with confusion and suspicion.

A Vision Mark is a gift bestowed upon those who dwell in Equestria and are recognized by the gods. It grants the user elemental abilities based on the element of their given Vision Mark. For example, the fire charm Sunset has on her belt is a Vision Mark that was given to her, thus, making her able to cause fire. Soarin has a teal Vision Mark with a snowflake symbol on it, meaning, he is able to control ice, or snow. That means, if Capper has a gold Vision, with a diamond symbol on it, meaning he has a power to control rocks, or simply earth.

"So how exactly is it that you're able to channel elemental energy?" Soarin said.

"It was a very strange occurrence." I said, glancing at you.

We then went to the next room and opened the Door of Resurrection. Many tubes emitting flames as they blow. Soarin blasted ice and snow to malfunction them. Suddenly, two Hydro slimes appeared out of thin air. Soarin immediately summoned three serpents made of ice that surrounded him like he was Saturn.

Soarin slashed his sword against them and shattered the slimes. He disabled a tube with Pyro on it and ran to a balcony with a wind current.

"Ugh, finally... we're here." I said.

"Seems the path ends here. Let's use the wind currents to fly up." Soarin said, summoning his glider and floated at top. We followed him and made it to the building. Soarin opened a mechanism to open the door, revealing a giant Pyro slime. You spotted a blue rock with a water symbol. Soarin spotted the rock you found, a Hydro Amber, and shattered it, making it rain.

"Water! We can use this to put out fire!" I said.

"Good idea. That's some keen observation." Soarin said. "We should get Night Glider to give you a title and make you a knight.". Suddenly, more Pyro slimes summoned. You used your Anemo powers to summon a tornado, and Soarin shoots the ice into your tornado, making the tornado absorb the elemental energy and freeze the slimes. As soon as they die, a door opened on the top left of the room.

We dashed to the room as found spikes under the water. Soarin used his skill to freeze the water and we carefully walked over it.

"Speaking of, did you know? Sturmterror was once one of The Four Winds. I'm not aware of the exact details. If you're interested, you can ask the Acting Grand Master about it." Soarin said. As he freezed the last set, you tirelessly walked over it, as i floated over. We opened another one of those Resurrection Doors and took some stairs, 'till we made it to the room with Sturmterror's power source.

"Is that the thing that Sturmterror is using to gain its power?" I asked.

"Seems probable. Let's deal with it." Soarin said, slashing his sword against it. You slashed along with him, while I carefully pounde the rock, watching the blades. One more slash, and it finally vanished. All of us sighed in relief. Soarin chuckled.

"Bravo! What a performance!" Soarib applauded. "You are, to my surprise, a well-trained knight. The battles you just fought were sights to behold." Soarin said.

"Thanks, that's nice of you to say...Not worth complimenting really..." You said shyly.

"Haha, I see you already have the knightly virtue of modesty. Stories of your heroic deeds to save Hiersindwir from destruction shall be known throughout the City of Freedom, well into the future. Please do visit me at our headquarters when you have the time. I also know a lovely tavern, if that's more your thing." Soarin smiled. "Quite rewarding, no?" Soarin said, wiping his clothes.

"We've seized another temple from Sturmterror's grasp!" I cheered.

" I can take care of the rest here. You go take care of other things while I'm at it." Soarin said.

"See you later then, bye-bye~!" I said mischievously as you and I left the domain to go to Capper. Soarin waved you goodbye. You didn't notice a Hydro creature summoning behind Soarin, as you left. Soarin's charming smile, now then turned into a glare, as he turned behind him, looking at a Hydro Abyssus Mage.

"There's no way storm creatures organized an ambush like this themselves — not with their limited mental capacity..." Soarin said. The mage appeared behind him as it giggled. "Thus YOU were behind this!". Soarin and the mage looked at each other in a glare, having a face off. The mage then recited some king of incantation.

"Gohus, Chiso Vonph!" The mage chanted. The mage then turned in confusion, as red flames slashed towards it. A white pegasus, with an light orange and white mane and shiny, dark cornflower blue and and purple eyes flew in threw the mage and ran across Soarin's side, while Soarin stood there. The pegasus carried his sword and slashed the mage to the ground. The pegasus wears a black dress shirt, a light gray waistcoat with a silver phoenix insignia that is adorned with a red gem in the eye, a silver-accented red tailcoat with four tails, black trousers are similar in design, straps on his left thigh, and black knee-high boots with silver shin guards, black gloves remain with red insignias and finger chains, and large red wrist guards, and finally, has a fireball, with a Pyro symbol, and wings, as a Vision Mark in his belt.

The pegasus slashed his sword and put the fire in his sword to an end, and turned to Soarin.

"Knights of Günstig... Always so inefficient." The pegasus said.

Soarin applauded as he turned to him. "Agree to disagree. But, your involvement in this just made things a whole lot more interesting."

Sparks Amongst the Pages ft. Capper

You and I then headed to last temple to destroy Sturmterror's supply, the Temple of the Lion. Capper was waiting for us in the entrance.

"Hey, cutie~" Capper said sweetly. "You're going to help me out too? How kind of you. Don't hesitate to come to me if you need anything~".

"What kind of things does a librarian do?" you asked.

"Good question. Basically, things other than that which require brawn... or brains." Capper said.

"So... what does that leave?" I said reluctantly.

"Why would a librarian be at the ruins...?" you asked.

"Hmm... Good question. Well, because Night Glider trusts me." Capper said. "So you should as well~". We walked over to the temple's door. "Even standing out here, the disturbance of the elemental flow inside is making me uncomfortable." Capper said. "Let's get this temple back to its normal state, so I can be a little less... tense.".

We walked over to the temple's doors, sucking us into a domain. You approached Capper. He was waiting at the top of a set of stairs. "I guess I could give this a go." Capper said. He smiled at you as we went further into the domain.

As Capper merrily walked, he looked around the domain and held his tome and artifact. "I knew it. There is a strong elemental energy coming from deep within this temple. Deco, are you able to float across?"

I spoke. "Can't do much even if she does."

"Good point. We'd better start looking for a way to get up there then." Capper said, as we arrived at a room. "Let's ride this wind current, shall we~?" Capper said as we glided up to another room, with a Resurrection Door. You walked over it, causing it to glow and open it. Capper turned on a mechanism to open the door to the next room. As we slowly walked, we spotted a gigantic Pyro slime, walking around the room until it notices us.

"Leave it to me." Capper said as run over to the Pyro slime and opened his tome and artifact, and streams of stones with elemental energy smoothly, surely, and gloriously came out of his paws. Since his Vision Mark signifies Geo, he has the power to charge the enemy with earth. As his Geo energy, and the slime's Pyro presence meet, it causes a a small crystal to emerge from the Pyro slime, causing it to explode into just lava. As soon as Capper defeats the slime, another door opens. We rushed to him as he walked to the door.

Capper walked over to the same monument you saw last time. "It's an Electro Monument. No wonder. Let me try to activate it with a bit of Electro power. Stand back, sweeties~" Capper said as he simply brought out a crystal with electro resonance and tapped the monument, and it immediately glows. Suddenly, many Pyro slimes summoned in front of him. You gasped. I flew back.

Capper hisses as he tries to zap as many of them as he can. You joined in and used your Anemo powers to defeat them, but as soon as your Anemo element, and their Pyro powers meat, it just spreads more fire. Capper held his catalyst weapons tightly as he then turns to room dark and grayish yellow, as a barrier surrounded the slimes. Capper held it firm as he could. You stood back as you watched this.

"Blitz~!" Capper murmured, as small meteors attacked the Pyro slimes from above. You were shocked as Capper simply walked to the next room. You and I, and Capper crossed the bridge as you went to the other wing of the structure. We both spotted storm creatures on the other room. You ran to the hilichurls used your Anemo powers to push them, causing them to get wet, since the floor was filled with water.

Capper giggles as he shoots an orb of dust as the storm creatures, causing them to get dirty, due to the Hydro presence. As Geo and Hydro meet, it causes the water to make a crystal once more. "When it comes to Wet enemies, I've got them covered~" Capper purred. As another door opens, Capper and you prepared your gliders, as you flew up to the wind current if front of you. I simply followed you by floating to the next floor.

"Oh, another wind current. Let's ride it up from here." Capper said as he glided up. You followed him and moved to the next room. As you walked over, a Resurrection Door opens as the mechanism door opens as well. Capper spitted a big Hydro slime, and storm creatures. He fell from their floor and summoned a purple lamp above him.

"Let's spark things up a little~!" Capper said, as he watched you attack the enemies, dodging Capper's stones. "Chain earth can be set off between Hydro Crystalize opponents. The electrical discharge caused by friction is only a little less shocking than love at first sight~" Capper said. As the door opened, moving platforms are seen. Capper knew these objects, as he guided you. I floated next to you.

"Oh, you want to know about this gem?" Capper said, pointing to his Vision Mark. "You're kidding... You're seriously asking? This is a Vision Mark. It's used by the chosen to draw on elemental powers. In terms of mysticism, I suppose you could call it a "magical lightning rod."". As you finished, he chit-chatted more. "What... You've never seen a Vision Mark? Just where exactly are you from...? Are you a hilichurl with some level of reasonable intelligence? No, I doubt it. After all, hilichurls aren't exactly known for their smarts." Capper said. "And you, you'd more or less qualify to be a magister's apprentice." he chuckled.

A Door of Resurrection opened, as you approached the room with Sturmterror's source in it. "Break it and we can head home and relax. The thought of putting my feet up and relaxing has me all fired up!" Capper hissed as he zapped the crystal. You joined it slashed your sword against the crystal. I approached the crystal, and pounded it harder. One fonal blow of Capper's stone then shattered the crystal.

"Dragon of the East, Lion of the South, Wolf of the North, Falcon of the West...They are the Four Zephyrs of Hiersindwir, affiliated with Vinea, the Goddess of Anemo. The Dragon of the East, Sturmterror — its real name, is Dvalin." Capper said. "Though most in Hiersindwir seem to have forgotten that in all this "Sturmterror" business. So now you know why Dvalin is only able to channel three of the Four Winds' power. Because it has been consuming itself from the beginning."

"Why? Why would it go to such lengths?" you asked.

"Because of hatred, I presume." Capper said.

"Hatred...?" I said.

"Hatred for Hiersindwir. Hatred drove it to become something more powerful than the wind itself — to become Sturmterror."

"But why would one of The Four Zephyrs...Hate the city it was supposed to protect?" I asked.

Capper stood silent for a while. "...As a child of Hiersindwir, it's something that's really hard to say aloud. Here, take this. It's a very old story from more than a century ago." Capper said. He gave you a book labeled: "Breeze Amidst the Forest Supplement: The Dragon Tome. You thanked him as we left the domain. I chuckled and cheered along the way.

The skies began to clear up. "Phew! It's finally done. Well, all that "ley flow" and "elemental lines" stuff Capper was going on about should hopefully be back to normal. Wanna go back and see how the Knights are doing?" I said. "But if you got anything more interesting to do, Deco can come too! By the way, we obtained another Wind Oculus in one of The Four Zephyrs' temples, right? We might come across more of them in the future, so don't forget to offer them to the Statues!" I cheered as I nodded.

You never knew what was waiting for you in the headquarters...
