Alex loses a coin toss to Rainbow Dash and now has to fight her and her friends.
Alex and Rainbow Dash are bored this summer. After tossing a coin to figure out what they want to do, Dash suddenly rushes home with no explanation. two weeks later Alex is called to Rainbows house and is told an, interesting proposition, he has to fight her and her friends. while skeptical and reluctant at first, Alex agrees. what follows is the longest summer in his life. Summer Vacation had finally arrived and the Students of Canterlot High School were as excited as ever to go do all the things they've been waiting to do all summer; Camping, hanging out at the mall, going to the beach, playing video games, or just lazing about their houses. However none were more excited about the summer than Rainbow Dash and Alex Bronson, the two had been friends since kindergarten and began a tradition of doing a special or unusual activity that would define the summer.
"This Summer is going to be awesome!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she jumped and shredded an air guitar.
"You got that right pal" Alex said as he just casually walked by his friend grinning from ear to ear "so, what super amazing, awesome, summer defining activity are we going to do this year?"
Rainbow suddenly stopped and began to ponder, she hadn't really thought of it, they've been doing this for so long that it felt like they had done everything. "huh, you know, for once I'm not sure." she finally said.
"Well that's a first" Alex said in a surprised voice, usually RD had stuff figured out well in advance when it came to this, then again this year had been quite a trying one, what with the battle of the bands and what not. "maybe we could go to the Carnival again" he suggested
"No Way Man! remember the rule" Rainbow exclaimed. "Never do the same thing twice, each activity has to be unique."
"Well we've done everything from going camping to roller blading to going on a three week long pranking campaign with Pinkie" Alex chuckled at the last one he mentioned, that had been a fun year of whoopee cushions, teepees, and prank calls.
The two friends began to stop and think about what they wanted to do. one thing stuck out in Alex 's mind was one he was nervous to suggest, he wanted to go on a date with Rainbow Dash. he had begun to have a crush on the lead guitarist of the Rainbooms since the beginning of the school year, every time she got real close to him his face got heated. in gym class when she did her exercises he always felt a flood of heat going to his nether regions, he had begun to have dreams about her. dreams that would best not to be discussed with friends. now he had a chance to do it, technically it would be a unique activity since they would be going on a date right?

"Look if we keep doing this we're going to be here all day" Rainbow said. "so i propose an alternative" reaching into her pocket she pulled out a quarter "heads we do what you want, tails we do what i want"
"Fair enough, lets do this" Alex said with a smirk, mentally crossing his fingers that the coin lands on heads.
The coin flipped into the air, spinning for what seemed like an eternity. Finally the coin landed in Rainbow's palm, she then slapped it on the back of her hand. she slowly began to lift her hand before putting it back down.
"Remember" Rainbow reminded. "whichever side the coin lands on we have to do it no matter what got it?"
Alex nodded "yeah yeah I got it. now please show the coin the suspense is killing me."
The cyan-haired girl slowly lifted her hand to reveal........Tails.
"YES I WON!! OH YEAH, UH UH, RAINBOW FOR THE WIN!!" Rainbow shouted as she began doing a moon walk and a other little jigs before running to Alex and leaning her face close to his. "so... you ready for the activity i have planned" she said in a somewhat seductive voice, batting her eyelashes.

It had been two weeks since the coin toss and Alex was starting to get concerned, if it took this long for Rainbow Dash to prepare for their annual activity together then it was either something really awesome, or something really dangerous and stupid. or both, that was always a possibility. Alex soon began to check his phone every hour or so for any text message or phone call, nothing for two weeks. during that time, he occupied himself with chores, video games and movies.
Finally, while Alex was eating lunch, he felt a vibration in his back pocket. pulling the phone out he looked at the text from Rainbow Dash.
RD: Everything's all set Al. My house ASAP, be there or be square! C U then
Alex quickly finished his lunch, changed into more presentable clothes, and went out to his car. after a twenty minute drive, Alex finally arrived at Rainbow's house. he walked up to the blue building and rang the door bell.
"Coming!" Rainbow called out. she soon opened the door wearing a blue bathrobe "sorry about that just had to do a few things, come on in Al"
Alex walked into the house and looked around the living room, there were a few pieces of pizza on the counter in front of the couch as well as some clothes strewn about on the floor. Same old Dash, living like a pig and yet staying actively fit.
"Heh heh sorry about the mess, why don't we go up to my room where it's cleaner" she soon took Alex’s hand and led him upstairs, rainbow must have seen him blush because she gave her hips a little extra sway as she walked up the stairs. "What? no that's stupid and un cool man, you'll be fighting them individually, we've all agreed to take you on whenever we decide to do it." Rainbow said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Come on it'll be fun!”
Alex had to admit, it was unique compared to the other stuff they did, still there was this hesitation in the back of his mind, what if he seriously hurt some one? "How did you get the others to agree to this?" he finally asked.
"Why do you think it took me so long to get back to you?" rainbow asked exasperated. "It took me TWO WHOLE WEEKS just to convince Fluttershy that everything would be fine and no one would get seriously injured."
"Your going to have me fight Fluttershy!?" Alex shouted "the girl once hyperventilated when she saw a mosquito hit a bug zapper!"
"Look" Rainbow said getting close to him "you know the condition of the coin flip, we do the activity no matter what, no backing out now!"
Alex knew she was right, he had agreed and now he was paying for it. "ok, fine how do we do this?"
Rainbow smirked and put her hands on her hips "we call you to come to wherever we decide to meet you, you fight us based on our preferences, we go until one of us has had enough or is unable to continue, and whenever a fight gets over.." she paused and put her mouth near his ear "we give you a little something, sound fair?" she finished by nibbling his ear and backed away.

Within half an hour, both opponents were panting heavily, both of them having lots of bruises and a few small cuts. finally wanting to end this once and for all, Alex threw as strong a punch as he could muster and socked her face. Applejack at this point was too tired to raise her guard and took the full brunt of it and saliva flew from her mouth as she fell on her back. Alex advanced toward her before she held out her hand in a stopping motion.
"Stop... enough.. you win Sugar Cube... I can't take no more." AJ panted as she pushed herself up, wiping her mouth and then walking close to Alex. "you know what happens now?" she whispered in his ear seductively.

Five down two to go Alex thought as he laid there. He wasn’t going to lie, he kind of liked this activity. Some would think it strange and even abhorrent to like fighting and later having sex with your female friends, but from what Alex gathered from Rainbow Dash (and other sources just so it wasn’t biased), the other girls had no problem with it. Alex and Rainbow sat in silence for a while, as if one was daring the other to speak first. Finally Alex decided to take the plunge. “Rainbow Dash I...” before he even finished the Cyan haired girl immediately broke down into tears, sobbing profusely and wrapping Alex in a big hug.
“OH ALEX! I’M SORRY! IM SORRY FOR OVERREACTING! I ACTED LIKE A TOTAL BITCH NOT JUST TO YOU BUT INDIRECTLY TO FLUTTERSHY! I DON’T KNOW WHAT CAME OVER ME, PLEASE STOP HATING ME! I’M SO SO SORRY!” Alex was absolutely shocked by this, Rainbow Dash, the cocky and brash girl always ready with a one liner, was balling her eyes out and Admitting she was wrong.

Rainbow Dash looked up at Alex and sniffed a little. “So you forgive me? You’re not breaking up with me?”

“Make up sex.” Dash confirmed and their tongues soon began a wrestling match of their own.

Both Alex and Rainbow smiled and rolled their eyes at Twilight’s very formal message. “She does realize that her number is on your phone so she doesn’t have to say who it’s from right?” Dash asked with a giggle.
“Well you know her, always wanting to be formal about these things.” Alex shrugged as he got up from bed. “A bare knuckle boxing match...hmmm seems unlike her don’t you think?”
“Yeah... it does seem a bit out of character for her” Rainbow pondered. “But I’m sure she has things figured out in her own Twilight way.”
Rainbow Dash then whispered to her boyfriend’s ear as she nibbled it “ so you don’t have to be there till tomorrow, you still got some energy left babe?”

The next day Alex made his way to Twilight’s house. He walked up to the door door and rang the bell. Not two seconds later, the door flew open revealing Twilight in a white button up shirt and purple jacket, her hair was tied in a ponytail.
“You’re late!” She exclaimed pulling you inside. “ I was clear in my message, 1:30 pm Sharp!”
Alex rolled his eyes as they made their way to the backyard “I arrived at 1:30” he defended.

True to her text, Twilight had prepared things for the match, in the center of the yard was a make shift ring, four poles stuck to the ground with rope tied around them. Twilight and Alex made their way to the ring and began stretching in their different corners. Finally the two went to the center of the ring.
“Say Twi I have a question.” Alex said. “Why bare knuckle boxing? Why not a wrestling match, or a regular boxing match?”
Twilight was silent for a moment before she spoke “simple, I looked at it from a logical perspective; there are seven of us, you’ve been in five fights so far, of those five fights you’ve lost three, of those three loses two were in a battle of fisticuffs, therefore I deduced that I had the highest chance of winning if I challenged you this way.” Twilight then paused for a moment before blushing “plus..heh heh.. I kinda wanted to experience this kind of fight.....for research purposes of course” she added quickly at the end.
Alex raised his eyebrow at her in concern. “Okay... but without gloves you might get banged up a bit” he warned.
“Don’t worry Alex I’ll be fine.” Twilight reassured as she took off her jacket. “I know magic remember? I know plenty of healing spells so unless you’re planning on killing me I think We’ll be fine.”
Alex nodded “okay Twi, if this is how you want it, we’ll do it.”
“Besides” Twilight continued. “If the last three fights are anything to go by, I have nothing to worry about”
“Yeah I guess you got...” Alex suddenly paused and realized what she just said. “Wait what’s that supposed to mean?”
“I’m only saying what’s fact. And the fact is that you haven’t been doing so hot.” Twilight said with a smirk.

“Well according to my calculations, your fight with Pinkie Pie lasted ten minutes.”
“She caught me off guard!”
“Your wrestling match with Fluttershy lasted five minutes”

“And your wrestling match with Rarity lasted even less.”
“Hey I won that one!”
“Ok, one: Congratulations you beat the least combat ready of the group. And Two: I don’t count you winning if you spent more time fucking her than wrestling her.”
Alex growled in anger and frustration at Twilight’s words, but he knew she was right, he was losing over all and he needed a victory.

Before Alex could react Twilight was suddenly upon him, using his stomach as a punching bag. Grunting in pain Alex finally mustered enough strength to sock Twi in the cheek causing her to finally back up.
As they both caught their breath Twilight raised her fists again “not bad for an egghead huh?” She smirked.
Alex smiled and raised his fists “oh This’ll be fun.” The two combatants squared up again and began throwing light jabs at each other, neither side landing a hit. Alex saw this was different from his fight with Applejack, where their was less emphasis on blocking and more on inflicting damage. Twilight was being more strategic, wearing him down with blocks and light jabs before going for the kill.
Alex decided to step it up a notch by feigning a stomach punch and jabbing Twilight in the face. The punches connected with the purple haired girl grunting twice, Alex then followed with two stomach punches as he drove her back to the ring.
Twilight felt her back hit the corner as she then began to take hit after hit in the face. Inwardly she was turned on, she had never thought this was exciting until now, thinking of it at the time like another one of her experiments to test. Alex soon rushed to her quickly and began punching for her face. Twilight blocked some of them, but they were coming in too fast for her and she got hit by a few saliva spraying from her mouth.
Twilight then wrapped Alex up in a clinch, using their proximity to punch his stomach several times before Alex pushed them off again. Rubbing his stomach Alex backed up a little.
“What’s the matter?” Twilight taunted “too much for you?”
Alex smiled and raised his fists once again “I could do this all day” he said. He then rushed quicker than Twilight could react and began pounding her face left and right. Twilight found herself back at her corner, her head snapping left and right.
“Stop!” Twilight finally shouted. “Stop... you win!”

Alex paused for a moment before he suddenly realized what she was asking. Suddenly things got awkward, none of the other girls had asked how well they did when they had sex with Alex, but here was Twilight asking him. He had to tread carefully.
“Well... um...” Alex began, trying to put his thoughts into words. “ Well I mean...that is... you... um... you were definitely an experience?”

The two finished their lemonades and Alex was about to head out when his phone vibrated again. He knew what this meant, this was it, the last fight, and he knew who was next. Taking the phone out of his pocket, Alex grimly looked at the text message.
Sunset Shimmer: Tomorrow, my place, you and me. Let’s end this.
Sunset Shimmer sat in her living room at her house waiting for her opponent to show up. Like Fluttershy, she too lived on the outskirts of town, however it was more to be rid of nosey neighbors than to get closer to nature(Sunset loved her friends but even she needed alone time every now and again).
When Rainbow Dash had first suggested the activity during a get together at the mall, Sunset wasn’t happy, she wasn’t that person anymore and she said as much. When Dash clarified that they’d be fighting Alex instead of each other however, her tune changed.
Flashback
Sunset Shimmer was in the lunchroom as she grabbed Fluttershy by the front of your shirt, staring at her intently. The girl had the audacity to bump into her and spill food all over her shirt.
“Do you know how much this shirt cost me?!” Sunset furiously asked.
“I...um...I’m sorry...Sunset...um... I didn’t mean to...” Fluttershy stuttered as she tried to look away from her tormentors’ face.
“Um I uh um sorry.” Sunset mocked, mimicking Fluttershy. “You will be when I’m done with you!” She rose her hand to slap the shy animal lover silly when another hand grabbed her wrist mid strike.
“She said sorry so Step off!” The voice belonging to the hand said. Sunset turned to see who was talking to. He was the same height as her with blue eyes and red hair.
Sunset glared at him as she wrenched her hand free from his grasp. Then she smirked “I’ve never seen you before, you new here?”
“Nope, I’ve just been below your radar up until now.” The boy said, glaring at her.
“Then maybe you need a reminder that I can do what I want, when I want, and to whoever I want” Sunset said arrogantly.
“It’s Whomever dumbass.” The boy said. A chorus of ‘oooooohs’ echoed through the lunchroom as a crowd suddenly gathered around him and soon there were whispers in the crowd.
“Who’s the idiot?”
“Does he realize who he’s talking to?”
“This’ll end bad, the poor guy.”
“Oh I can’t watch!”
Sunset went back to glaring at the boy, not since Trixie had a student dared to speak to her in such a disrespectful way. He needed to be dealt with.
“What’s your name kid?” Sunset asked as she cracked her knuckles. “So I can etch it on your tombstone.”
“I’m Alex Bronson” he said standing firm. “And if I were you I would worry less about my tombstone and more about your hospital bill.”
While not showing it on the outside Sunset was shocked by his brazenness, this guy really did have a death wish. “Your going to fight me? Seriously?! You’re going to fight a girl?!”
“No” Alex stated. “I’m going to fight a bully who likes picking on others who don’t want to fight back” he then took off his jacket “so how’s about taking on someone who will fight back Sunset Shitter?”
Ooohs turned into chants as soon the crowd began chanting ‘fight’ over and over again. Sunset angrily took off her leather jacket and was raising her fists when suddenly Fluttershy stood between the two.
“STOP!” She shouted, which surprised everyone in the cafeteria, including the two would-be combatants. “Please just stop!” Fluttershy started sobbing.
Alex looked at her “lady you need to get out of the way, I’m trying to help you.”
“No! I won’t let people get hurt because of my mistake!” Fluttershy sobbed. “I just... I just... it’s unbearable to me!” Fluttershy kneeled down and sobbed as the crowd suddenly felt a wave of shame and guilt wash over them and soon began returning to their seats. Sunset was about to fight anyways when she saw Vice-Principal Luna enter the cafeteria, unaware of what had just happened.
Sunset put her coat back on and glared at Alex “This isn’t over Bronson!” She whispered harshly “I will get you alone one of these days.”
“I’m counting on it” Alex said back as the two glared at each other. Soon Sunset sat at her table while Alex comforted a weeping Fluttershy and had her sit with him at his table.
Flashback end
Sunset grimaced at the memory of that first meeting, they never did have that one on one brawl, anytime they were about to come to blows with each other a teacher would happen to pass by or some moralistic student would get between them.
It was even tougher after her reform, since they now had the same friends. The two now existed in a Cold War state, they would hang out with their friends but they wouldn’t interact with each other personally. With this activity that Rainbow Dash had however, that all changed, now Sunset could fight Alex, what’s more, she had the effective blessing of her friends.
Sunset now sat at the window, waiting for Alex to show up it’s decided she thought as she waited. If I’m gonna clear the air with him for good, I have to be brutal with him, I have to be merciless with him I have to....be that person again one last time.
Alex walked up the path that led to Sunset Shimmer’s house, this was it, the final fight. Alex would’ve been lying if he said he hadn’t been waiting for this one, he was actually disappointed the fight hadn’t happened sooner.
Alex was the kind of person who felt that the past should best be left in the past, he was not one to hold grudges. And yet with Sunset Shimmer, things got complicated. While Alex didn’t hold her past against her(he also appreciated her part in defeating the Sirens), he felt that there was an uneasy tension between them, something that needed to be cleared up.
As Alex made his way to the door, he began prepping himself, cracking his knuckles and creaking his neck. If the text was anything to go by, Sunset wasn’t going to waste time talking. He went up and rang the door bell, after several minutes Sunset opened the door and motioned him in.
Alex looked around the living room, it was nicely furnished with a big couch and a glass coffee table. Before he could even mention the decor Alex’s jaw met the acquaintance of Sunset’s fist. He fell against a wall as he got up clutching his jaw.
“Come on Bronson you and me!” Sunset challenged as she had already ditched her jacket and had an orange tank top on and was currently raising her fists.
“Ow a little warning would be..” before Alex could finished he just barely dodged another punch to the face before a second one struck his stomach, as he backed up Sunset continued her assault on him.
Alex blocked and dodged as many blows as he could, but quite a few were getting in. okay that’s enough being defensive! Alex thought, and he soon stomped on Sunset’s foot as hard as he could before slamming her jaw twice.
Sunset fell on the floor, first rubbing her feet, then her jaw. “You’ve got some power there.” She said as she got up.
“I work out with Dash a lot.” Alex responded “so Here we are, finally.”
“Indeed” Sunset agreed. “No teacher s, no students, no cops, just you and me. Now let’s see what you got!”
Alex immediately charged and Tackled his rival in the midsection, ramming her into the wall. He then began punching her stomach several times before Sunset slammed both fists onto his head. Alex fell on his knees covering his head, leaving Sunset to knee his face.
Alex fell on his back and his stomach became subject to a stomp from her foot before he grabbed it and pulled as hard as he could, causing the red head to fall on her back.
Taking advantage of the situation, Alex quickly straddled her and began pummeling her face. Sunset took hit after hit before grabbing his wrists and forcibly stood up as the two grappled. Finally they let go and circled around each other.
Alex moved first to try to punch her face before Sunset caught it and pulled him into a stomach punch. Then she bit his nose, earning a scream from her rival. To get her off him, Alex took both his fists and slammed her stomach, releasing her teeth’s vice like grip on his nose.
The two backed up to catch their breath. Sunset rubbed her bruised face while Alex covered his bloody nose. “YOU BRUISED MY FACE!” Sunset shouted.
“YOU BIT MY NOSE!” Alex shot back
“YOU BRUISED MY FACE!”
“YOU BIT MY FUCKING NOSE!”
“Oh stop being baby!” Sunset spat as she rubbed her cheek. “It’s not like you’ve never been bitten by a girl before!”
Alex blushed at the implication “Well at least when Rainbow did it she didn’t make me bleed!”
“Bullshit!” Sunset exclaimed. “What do you call those fresh cuts on your lips?!”
“That’s from you, dumbass!” Alex shot back. It wasn’t a lie….mostly.
Sunset shook her head and charged and grabbed Alex’s midsection and tried pushing him to the wall, but He was prepared and planted his feet firmly on the ground. He then shoved her off and moved fast, drilling her stomach some more.
Sunset retaliated with several jabs to Alex’s already damaged nose. The two backed off for a moment before getting back into it, punching wherever they had openings.
After two hours the two were exhausted, bruised and bleeding and panting heavily.
“Had enough… Bronson?” Sunset managed to pant out.
“What’s the matter…Sunset Shitter… you gettin sleepy?” Alex taunted in a tired voice.
With that both walked towards each other and stared intently at each other. Neither moving an inch and staring down at each other. After five minutes they both threw one last punch at each other.
CRACK!
Both fists found their mark, hitting their faces. Sunset fell on her back unconscious while Alex fell against the wall barely staying awake.
“Ha” he said weakly. “I win the challenge yaaaaaaaaaaaok I’m sleepy” and blackness overtook him.
Alex woke up in a bed, a bed that wasn’t his. Rubbing his head he turned to see Sunset Shimmer sitting next to him. “Oh your awake.” She stated.
Alex rubbed his face and groaned. “How long was…”
“You’ve been unconscious for about half an hour that I’ve been up. I decided to take us somewhere comfortable, so I took us to my room. Here” she handed Alex some ointment. “I bandaged your nose and this will help your bruises heal.”
Alex took the ointment and started rubbing it on his face and stomach. “Soooooooo.” He finally said. “Does this mean…”
“I’m giving the victory to you” Sunset cut in. “You were out longer, but I konked out first so you win.” As she said this she looked at Alex who wasn’t smiling or sad. “Um didn’t you here me? You won.”
“I know” Alex said. “I just hope now that we’ve cleared the air we can stop this Cold War bs and be friends.”
Sunset nodded. “Yeah…we’re good….” Sunset looked at Alex and bit her lower lip. “Soooooo… I know after the fights you…”
“I don’t want to if you don’t” Alex cut in. “I’m not going to force it and you’re not obligated to do it with me.”
Sunset nodded. “That’s fine.” She then lay on her back next to him “You couldn’t handle me anyway.”
Alex rolled his eyes “ don’t flatter yourself, I’ve got all the excitement I need with Rainbow Dash.” He turned towards Sunset and saw she had a competitive look in her eyes. “Hold up Sunset, Don’t get the wrong idea, I’m not saying..”

“Bring it on.” Sunset challenged. Not needing anymore prompting, Alex French kissed her passionately, leaning over her until he was on top. Not wanting to stay on the bottom, Sunset rolled around to switch spots, soon the two former rivals were competing for dominance all the while kissing. Finally breaking the kiss for air, Sunset finally managed to switch positions, then took off Alex’s pants and underwear before taking off her’s as well.

Rainbow smiled a cocky grin “I don’t mind sharing, it could be fun.” With her acknowledgment, Alex nodded his head in agreement, eliciting a cheer from the girls.
“Now that that’s settled..” Rainbow walked up to Alex and French kissed him passionately. “Buckle up big boy your in for one hell of a pounding” she licked her lips and the other girls had a hungry look in their eyes.
Alex gulped. what the hell have I gotten myself into? He was about to have one hell of a day.
