Once upon a time, in the Kingdom of Equestria, there lived the greatest detective known in the entire world. Her name was Nyx, and she was the best of the best of the best of the best of all detectives, and she is still solving mysteries today.
But like all detectives, she lived a pretty normal childhood. At least she did, until one day.
"Hey, mom." Said Nyx, "I have a question."
"What is it, Nyx?" Replied Twilight
"Do we have any books about detective work in the castle?"
"Yes, I'll show you."
Nyx followed Twilight towards the castle library, anxious to start her research
"What's got you suddenly interested in learning about detective work?" Asked Twilight
"We learned about a really famous detective named Clue finder in school, and it made me want to become a detective."
"Aren't you a little too young to become a detective?"
"No." Replied Nyx, "Becoming a detective is what I want to do."
"Okay, I guess that if you want to become a detective so badly, then I shouldn't stop you."
"Thanks, mom. I promise that I'll be the best detective the world has ever seen."
"I know that you will, sweetie. And I promise that I'll be here every step of the way."
"I hope that I'll make you proud." Said Nyx
"You already have, Nyx. Well, we're here now."
Nyx walked into the library as Twilight used her magic to pull a large book off the shelf
"Everything you need to know to become a detective: Updated version." Said Nyx, reading the cover. She opened the book and began to read it.
"I'll leave you to it." Said Twilight, leaving the library.
The next day, after Nyx finished reading the book and learning about how to be a detective, she went to go tell her mom.
But she wasn't anywhere in the castle, Nyx searched every single room.
When Nyx went back to Twilight's room, she noticed a cloth hanging out of the trash bin. Curious, she went over and lifted it with her magic.
As she was staring at it, she thought of something that she read. A true detective never overlooks anything unusual
Nyx sniffed the cloth and smelled a faint scent of chloroform. It wasn't enough to knock her unconscious though.
She was just about to throw it back in the trash, but then remembered something else from the book. A detective keeps all evidence with her, usually in bags
Nyx ran to the kitchen and got several plastic bags, which she put in her saddlebag. She then went back to Twilight's room to re-explore it, for she had remembered that the book said to search the same place multiple times.
She walked around the room until she found 3 purple feathers on Twilight's bed, barely noticeable at first glance due to being mostly covered by her pillow. She lifted them and sniffed them too, they had the same scent as the cloth. That meant that the feathers were dropped around the same time that Twilight was knocked unconscious by the chloroform cloth
Nyx put the purple feathers in a different bag, for she read that detectives never use one bag for two different pieces of evidence.
Spike came into the room a few seconds later after being woken up by the noise caused by Nyx searching
"Nyx, what are you doing?" Asked Spike
"I think that Twilight has been kidnapped by somepony."
"Kidnapped? Do you have anything to support this?"
Nyx didn't say anything, she simply pulled out her evidence and showed it to Spike. She first showed him the feathers
"Do you recognize these feathers?" She asked Spike
"Yes. Those are Twilight's feathers." Replied Spike
Nyx pulled one out of the bag and brought it before Spike. "Smell it." She said
Spike hesitated, but then smelled it. "What is that?" He asked
"It's called chloroform. I read about it in the detective book. It's used to send ponies and other creatures to sleep, mostly for when whoever used it on them was a kidnapper."
"Okay, but she could have accidentally gotten some on her and then started sleepwalking." Replied Spike
"There's also this cloth I found hanging over the edge of the garbage." Nyx said, putting the feather back in the bag and pulling out the cloth. "Now smell this."
Spike smelled the cloth, and discovered that it had the same scent. "This smells the same as the feathers, but that means."
"That somepony snuck in here last night and used the chloroform cloth on Twilight, then attempted to throw it away before leaving with Twilight? Exactly." Replied Nyx, "But he didn't get the cloth in all the way, and left behind the feathers. Which means more clues for me."
"That's good. I'm surprised that you're so good at this detective stuff."
"Wait, what's that?" Asked Nyx, flying over to the door. She saw dark green fur at the bottom. She looked at it for a second, then smelled it too. It smelled like cloroform too.
"What is it? Is it another clue?" Asked Spike
"Yes." Said Nyx, putting the fur into another bag. "I found dark green fur with the chloroform scent right by the door. Now I've got to see if there are any other clues in the hallway from here to the entrance to the castle."
"Should I come with you?" Asked Spike
"No, someone needs to watch over the castle. Since Twilight is missing and I'm looking for her, that means that you'll have to. Can you do that, Spike."
"You can count on me, Nyx."
"Thanks, Spike. I promise that I'll let you help me in the future."
Nyx and Spike left the room, going separate directions. Nyx continued looking for clues in the hallway.
She got to the castle doors and noticed a bottle out of the corner of her eye. She walked over to it and levitated it with her magic
Nyx raised it up to her eye level and read the label, "Bottle of Chloroform. Made at Sleepy Head's store of sleeping supplies. Hmm."
Nyx put the bottle into a bag before she left the castle. She was determined to find her mother, no matter what
Nyx was walking towards the marketplace looking for Sleepy Head's store. As she was walking past the market stands, she accidentally bumped into a stallion with yellow fur and a blue mane and tail waiting in line. The stallion also had a pillow and three Zs as a cutie mark.
"Sorry sir. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Said Nyx
"It's okay. Happens to everypony." Replied the stallion, "My name is Sleepy head, and I just opened my shop down the street."
"You're Sleepy head?" Asked Nyx
"Yes. Do you need something?"
"I need to ask you something." Said Nyx, pulling out a notebook from her saddlebag
"What is it?"
"Did you sell any bottles of cloroform yesterday?"
"Hmm. Yeah, I did."
"How many?"
"25 bottles."
Nyx wrote this down before continuing. "Did one of the ponies that bought a bottle have dark green fur?"
"No, none of them did."
"Oh, well thanks for the help." Said Nyx, beginning to turn around
"Wait." Said Sleepy head, calling to Nyx
Nyx turned to look back at Sleepy head, confused. "Did you remember something?"
Sleepy head nodded, "I remember seeing a bottle of mane dye sticking out of the saddlebag of a pony with a light blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail."
"Rainbow dash?! No, that can't be true." Exclaimed Nyx. She then remembered something that she read, A detective never let's personal feelings stop them from interrogating ponies he or she knows very well
"Listen filly, I wish that it wasn't the case. But that is what I saw."
"Well, thanks for the help." Replied Nyx, flying away.
Nyx flew towards Rainbow's house to interrogate her. As she was flying, she kept thinking, What if it was Rainbow dash. I don't think that I could forgive her for a long time
Nyx arrived at Rainbow dash's house and knocked on her door. "Rainbow dash, It's Nyx. Can I come in?"
Rainbow opened the door and invited Nyx in. "What's up Nyx? You seem like you urgently need something."
"I do. Twilight was kidnapped last night. I've been looking for her, and my search led me to you."
"WHAT!" Exclaimed Rainbow dash, "Twilight was kidnapped."
"Yes. She was, and." Nyx sighed, pulling out her notebook. "I hate to do this, but it needs to be done. Rainbow dash, where were you yesterday?"
"I was practicing for the upcoming Wonderbolts show for most of the day, then Fluttershy asked me to help her with her animals until I came home with Scootaloo because I promised that she could stay at my house for the night."
"Is Scootaloo here right now?"
"No, she went to go hang out with Apple bloom and Sweetie belle at around 9:45 this morning."
"Okay." Said Nyx, putting her notebook away, "Rainbow dash, come with me."
"Uh, okay." Said Rainbow, following Nyx away from her house. "Where are we going?"
"We're going to pay a visit to the Wonderbolts, Fluttershy, and Scootaloo. I need to make sure that you're not trying to tell them to tell me anything other than the truth."
"Wow, Nyx. What are you trying to do? Become a detective or something?" Rainbow dash joked
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing." Replied Nyx, dead serious.
"Wait, you're serious about becoming a detective?"
"Yes. I am. And my investigation has led me to you."
"That's interesting, and you say that you're trying to find Twilight?"
"Yes, Rainbow." Replied Nyx, "Well, we're at our first stop."
Nyx and Rainbow descended onto the Wonderbolt landing strip. Spitfire and the other Wonderbolts quickly spotted the pair and flew towards them.
"What are you doing here, Crash? This isn't a training day."
"I brought her here." Said Nyx, "My mother was kidnapped last night and Rainbow dash is my suspect. I've just got one question for you." Said Nyx, pulling out her notebook
"What's the question?" Asked Spitfire, trying not to waste much time
"Rainbow dash claimed that she was training with you for most of the day yesterday. Is this true?"
"Yes. I sent Soarin to tell Crash to hurry to Wonderbolts headquarters for training yesterday at 8 A.M. We trained for our next show that's coming up in a few days from 8:30 that morning till around 6:45 in the evening."
Nyx finished writing the information down and put away her notebook. "Thanks for the information. Come on Dash, we've still got two more places to visit."
Rainbow waved goodbye to the wonderbolts before taking off behind Nyx. The duo flew towards Fluttershy's house, and Nyx could tell that Rainbow was getting a little nervous.
"Don't worry Dash, we're one step closer to proving your innocence."
Nyx and Rainbow dash soon arrived at Fluttershy's cottage. Nyx walked up and knocked on the door, alerting Fluttershy that they were there.
"Just one second." Said Fluttershy from inside the cottage. She opened the door and immediately noticed her guests
"Oh, Nyx and Rainbow. Come on in."
"Thanks Fluttershy." Replied Nyx and Rainbow at the same time, walking inside.
Nyx and Rainbow sat down on Fluttershy's couch while Fluttershy sat on her chair
"Fluttershy, I wish I could stay longer, but I'm investigating my mother's kidnapping last night."
"TWILIGHT WAS KIDNAPPED?!" Exclaimed Fluttershy, eyes wide
"Yes, she was. I'm looking for her right now. I just have a few questions." Nyx said, pulling out here notebook
"O-okay." Replied Fluttershy. "What are they?"
"Did Rainbow dash help you with your animals last night?"
"Yes, she did. She was very helpful with feeding them."
"What time did you ask her for help with your animals?"
"It was around 6:45 last night. I remember that she was heading home from Wonderbolts training when I found her."
Nyx wrote down the information and put her notebook away. "Thanks for the information, Fluttershy. I wish that we could stay longer, but I want to find my mother as soon as possible. Come on, Dash, we're going to visit the CMC clubhouse next."
"Bye, Nyx. I hope that you find Twilight soon." Said Fluttershy as Nyx and Rainbow walked out of her cottage.
Rainbow flew behind Nyx towards the CMC clubhouse on Sweet Apple Acres.
Apple bloom noticed them approaching and called Sweetie belle and Scootaloo outside.
"Hey, Nyx. Hi, Dash." Said Scootaloo, "What's up?"
"I've got an important issue on my hooves right now. My mother was kidnapped last night by somepony, and I'm trying to figure out who did it. Which brings me to the reason I'm here." Said Nyx, pulling out her notebook again. "Scootaloo, did you spend the night at Rainbow's house last night?"
"Oh no." Said Apple bloom, "I hope that she's okay."
"I hope so too." Replied Nyx. "Anyway, about my question Scootaloo."
"Yes, I did. I didn't have anywhere else that I wanted to be that night."
"What time did you leave her house this morning?"
"I left around 9. Why do you need to know?"
"Because my evidence suggested that Rainbow was a suspect. But your information was the last bit I needed to prove the opposite. Rainbow, I'm sorry for accusing you."
"Hey, it's totally fine. I know that you didn't have a choice."
"Thanks, Dash. Now, I've got to go finish my investigation. Bye everypony."
Nyx left the clubhouse as her friends were saying goodbye too. While she was walking, she was thinking, Now I'm back to where I started before accusing Dash. If only there was some more evidence that would help me. Wait a second
Nyx began galloping towards Sleepy Head's store of sleeping supplies just as it was being locked for the night.
"HEY, SLEEPY HEAD!" Yelled Nyx, "I've got one more thing to ask you."
"What do you need to ask me now?"
"How many cans of mane dye did the pony with the light blue coat and the rainbow mane and tail have?"
"Just let me think for a second." Replied Sleepy head, "She had 4 cans."
"What were the colors of each can?"
"One was light-blue, the second was rainbow color, the third was green, and the fourth was brown."
Nyx wrote this information down in her notebook and put it away. "Did the pony take her receipt?"
"No, he didn't want it."
"Do you still have it?"
"Yes, it's in my pocket."
"Could I see it?"
"Sure." Replied Sleepy head. "Here you go." He said as he handed Nyx the receipt.
Nyx read over it, looking for a name.
Nyx eventually found the name of the pony, which she wrote down in her notebook. "Shiny Spyglass. She was the one who had the mane dye." Nyx said, giving back the receipt. "Thanks for the new information."
"It was no problem, filly."
"My name is Nyx, sir. Detective Nyx."
"Well, detective Nyx, I hope that you're investigation is a success." Replied Sleepy head
Nyx headed back to the castle with all her evidence for the night. It was late and she was tired.
"Tomorrow, I'll continue my investigation." Nyx said as she crawled into bed.
Nyx woke up the next morning and decided to review her evidence before continuing her investigation. She pulled out her notebook and all of her evidence and placed it in front of her.
"Hmm, whoever kidnapped mom used chloroform from Sleepy Head's store. She also had 4 cans of mane dye, 2 of which she used to disguise herself as Rainbow dash. while the other 2 cans were most likely used on her mane and tail after purchasing the chloroform. Whoever this was probably bought the mane dye from the mane shop."
Nyx packed up all her evidence and left the castle to go to the mane shop. As she was walking, she noticed a cloak lying on the street next to a toppled trash bin. Nyx walked over to the cloak and lifted it with her magic. "Hmm, maybe this belonged to the kidnapper. I should hold on to it." She said to herself, carrying the cloak on her back
Nyx approached the mane shop just as Rarity walked out, carrying a bottle of shampoo.
"Oh, hello Nyx. What are you doing here?"
"I'm investigating my mother's kidnapping. This is where I needed to go next."
"Twilight was kidnapped?!" Exclaimed Rarity, fainting.
"Heh, classic Rarity." Said Nyx. "Well, time to resume my investigation."
Nyx walked into the mane shop and up to the counter.
"Excuse me." Said Nyx, taking out her notebook. "I'm investigating my mother's kidnapping, and I need to ask you a few questions."
"Sure, I'll answer them." Replied the mare
Nyx levitated the cloak off her back, "Was there anypony here two days ago wearing this?"
The mare took the cloak and studied it. "Yes, there was one pony wearing this."
"Were you able to tell who it was?"
"No, unfortunately. The cloak made it too hard to see what the pony looked like."
"What did the pony buy while she was here?"
"She bought 4 cans of mane dye. I remember her sounding like she desperately needed them for something."
"What were the colors of each can that the pony bought?"
"One was light blue, a second was rainbow, a third was dark green, and the fourth was dark blue."
"Did the pony say their name at all while purchasing?"
"No, unfortunately. Is that all?"
"One more question. Was the pony a earth pony, unicorn or pegasus?"
"The pony was a unicorn for sure. She teleported out of my shop after purchasing the mane dye."
"Thank you for the information." Replied Nyx
"Although, I did remember her coat being a very light blue, just a little darker than Rainbow dash's coat."
Nyx wrote this down in her notebook before putting it away. "Thanks for that extra information, Miss." She said, leaving the mane shop.
"So, a light blue unicorn. I wonder who it could be." Said Nyx to herself
Nyx suddenly heard her friends' voices
"Hey, Nyx."
"Hi, Diamond. What's up?"
"Not much. Just on my way to The Hayburger. What about you?"
"I'm busy investigating my mother's kidnapping."
"Wait, Twilight was kidnapped. By who?"
"I don't know yet. But I'll hopefully know soon." Nyx then heard her stomach grumble, "Though I should probably get something to eat. Mind if I join you?"
"Not at all. Silver's busy today, and I have no idea what the bla-, I mean, CMCs are doing."
"Still having a little trouble not calling them what you used to call them?" Nyx said with a smirk
"Yes, I've been doing it for so long." Replied Diamond, before her stomach started grumbling too. "We should probably head to The Hayburger now."
"Good idea." Replied Nyx
It didn't take the pair long before they got to Hayburger, just about 5 minutes.
"Hey, Nyx and Diamond. I bet that you're both here for brunch." Said Pinkie, "Come on, I'll pay for you too."
"Thanks Pinkie. I'm just taking a break from investigating my mother's kidnapping."
"Ok." Said Pinkie. Then it hit her, "WHAT?! TWILIGHT WAS KIDNAPPED!?"
"Pinkie, calm down. I'm still investigating and I will find her." Replied Nyx
"Right, sorry." Said Pinkie, "So, what do you two want?"
"We'll have two filly's meals."
"Okay." Said Pinkie
Pinkie ordered the food, and the three of them talked while eating their brunch.
"So Pinkie, how's business at Sugarcube corner."
"It's been great. Business is booming this time of year."
"That's good. How many ponies buy treats everyday."
"Dozens. One of the ponies that bought a pack of cupcakes was a little strange. She was wearing a cloak over her body."
Nyx's eyes grew wide as she spit out some of her apple juice that came with her meal. She immediately wiped her mouth afterwards.
"Pinkie, did you just say that one of the ponies was wearing a cloak?"
"Yeah, I was. Why?"
"It wouldn't happen to be this cloak, would it?" Asked Nyx, showing Pinkie the cloak that she found earlier
Pinkie looked at the cloak for a couple seconds, then said, "Yeah, this is the cloak. Why is this important?"
"Pinkie, were you able to see who the pony was?"
"No, not really. I did a bit of what the pony was saying though."
Nyx pulled out her notebook, "What did you manage to hear the pony say?"
"I heard her say something about revenge on somepony for humiliating her, something about spray painting her mane and tail, and something about chloroform."
"Anything else?"
"Now that you mention it, the pony also said something about some kind of magic show. I don't know."
Nyx finished writing all the information down and put her notebook away. "Pinkie, you just gave me what I need to solve this case."
"No, problem Nyx." Replied Pinkie, "Mind telling us your theory on who you think it is based on the evidence you've collected?"
"Sure." Replied Nyx. "It started yesterday morning. I found a cloth with chloroform, a few of my mother's feathers, and green fur, all with a chloroform scent, in her bedroom. Then I found a bottle of chloroform, made by a new business-pony named Sleepy Head. I rushed over to his shop and asked him about the bottle. He told me that one of the ponies that bought chloroform the day before had a light blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail, along with mane dye. That led me to suspect Rainbow dash, until I proved her innocence. Then I asked Sleepy Head how many bottles of mane dye the pony had and what colors each one was. He told me the colors, which were blue, rainbow, green, and brown."
"Today, I found the cloak in a trash bin outside while I was heading towards the mane shop. When I got to the mane shop, I asked the pony working there about the mane dye and the cloak. She told me that a pony with a cloak had purchased the mane dye, and that the pony had a light-blue coat and was a unicorn. But it was your knowledge that helped me figure out who the kidnapper is."
"Who is it?" Asked Diamond tiara.
"Light-blue unicorn mare who runs a magic show and has a grudge on Twilight for humiliating her. I propose that the kidnapper of my mother is none other than Trixie Lulamoon."
The night of the kidnapping Trixie quietly walked through the halls of Twilight's castle, disguised as a unicorn with a dark green coat and a brown mane and tail.
She approached Twilight's room, where the Princess of friendship was sleeping hard. Trixie levitated the cloth that was sprayed with chloroform, after plugging her nose to avoid breathing it in.
Trixie tip-hoofed over to Twilight's bed, levitated the cloth over her muzzle, and dropped it.
Twilight's eyes shot wide open, but she had already breathed in the chloroform. 2 seconds later, she was out again.
Trixie then levitated the cloth and threw it towards the trash bin with her magic, but partially missing, before levitating the sleeping Princess and quietly trotting out of the castle. She accidentally rubbed up against the door a little too hard, causing a few of the fur from her dyed coat to come off and fall to the ground. She also hadn't noticed that a couple of Twilight's feathers had been left behind.
But Trixie did it, and she returned to her hideout in an old building, which had been unused for 12 years.
Present Nyx went through Ponyville, now knowing who the kidnapper is. She heard several hoofsteps behind her, so she turned around and saw Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow standing there.
"Nyx, Pinkie told us about Trixie. We came to help you catch her." Said Applejack
"Thanks everypony. Have any of you seen where she went when she first came into Ponyville?"
"Um, I did see a cloaked pony heading towards the abandoned building." Said Fluttershy
"Was this the cloak that she was wearing?" Asked Nyx, levitating the cloak.
"Yes, that's the one." Replied Fluttershy.
"Do you know where the abandoned building is?"
"I do." Said Rainbow, "I've flown over it several times. Follow me."
The ponies followed Rainbow dash towards where the abandoned building was. It took them about 5 minutes to get there, for it was on the farthest part of the edge of Ponyville.
“This is it.” Said Rainbow, pointing at the boarded up building in front of them.
“I’m coming to get you, mom.” Said Nyx, running towards the door
“Woah, woah. Nyx, it’s most likely dangerous for somepony your age to go in a building like that alone.” Said Rarity, “Let us handle it.”
“Fine, but I’m still coming in with you. I started this investigation, and I’m going to finish it.”
The ponies ran towards the door and Applejack bucked it off it’s hinges.
“The door was unlocked, you know.” Said Trixie, walking towards them.
“Give back my mother, Trixie. I know that you have her.”
“How did you manage to figure it out. Did some fancy detective help you?” Asked Trixie.
“No, I didn’t need help. I figured it out on my own.”
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I read an entire 350 page book explaining everything you need to know about being a detective.” Replied Nyx, smugly. “Now give back Twilight. I know that you kidnapped her.”
“You’re right, I did kidnap her.” Said Trixie. Nyx immediately noticed that the way Trixie said it, was not the way that a criminal would confess. It was the way that someone who is emotionally troubled would. “But I promise you that she’s healthy and unharmed.”
“Why did you kidnap her?” Asked Nyx, no longer feeling anger towards Trixie
“I-I kidnapped her because I needed help with something.” Replied Trixie.
Then Twilight entered the room, “Hey, Trixie. Who are you t-t-talking to?” Asked Twilight, noticing her friends and Nyx
“Mom!” Exclaimed Nyx, running towards Twilight, tears in her eyes.
“Oh, sweetheart. It’s okay, I’m safe. Trixie has been very kind.” Replied Twilight, hugging Nyx
Nyx and Twilight separated, but stayed next to each other.
“Hey, Nyx. You got your cutie mark.” Exclaimed Pinkie
Nyx looked at her flank and saw a cutie mark of a magnifying glass.
“Oh, Nyx. I’m so proud of you.” Said Twilight
“Thanks, mom. But we’re not done with this case yet.” Replied Nyx. “So, why did you kidnap Twilight, Trixie?”
“I kidnapped her because-because I found a injured, sick foal on the side of the road.”
“WHAT!?”Exclaimed the 5 ponies.
“Why didn’t you just take her to the hospital?”
“I did, but they all refused. They all thought that I was lying because of how evil I was in the past. So I only knew one other pony that knew how to take care of injured, sick foals.”
“But why didn’t you just ask her for help?”
“Do you think that she would have said yes?”
“Probably not.”
“Exactly, and I only had a small amount of time before the foal died.”
“Well, where’s the foal? I want to help as well.” Said Nyx.
“R-really?” Asked Trixie, surprised.
“Yes, really. I want to help.”
“T-thank you.”
“I wish that we could help as well, but we have to get back to our own work.” Said Applejack, talking for the other 4 as well, “We’ll tell Spike where you are.”
“Thanks everypony.” Said Nyx and Twilight together.
Twilight and Nyx followed Trixie towards the room that the foal was in.
“So, Trixie. What made you rescue this foal?” Asked Nyx
“Well, during my travels, everywhere I went, I saw families. Every single one of them seemed happy and joyful. It made me realize how alone I was, and it began affecting the quality of my magic shows. Eventually, I couldn’t handle the pain anymore. So I started checking the orphanages whenever there was one, but no luck.”
Nyx began feeling more and more sorry for Trixie.
“And I was on my way back to Ponyville when I saw the foal. I quickly ran over and picked her up with my magic before even thinking about what I was doing. I rushed towards the Ponyville hospital, and you know the rest of the story.”
“So that’s the full story.” Said Nyx. “You kidnapped Twilight, not because of a grudge, but because of a injured, sick foal.”
“Yeah, I’m truly sorry that I had to kidnap her. But it was either that, or an innocent foal dies.” Said Trixie, sighing. “Twilight, I’ll accept any punishment that you want for me.”
“I already know the perfect punishment for you, though I don’t think that you’ll think of it as a punishment.”
“What is it?” Asked Trixie
“Trixie. For kidnapping me, your punishment will be to raise this foal as your own. Once we nurse her back to health, I’ll make sure that the Ponyville adoption center will let you in.”
Trixie began crying halfway through hearing what her punishment was going to be. “T-thank you, Twilight.” She said, hugging Twilight. “I promise that the foal is in good hooves.”
“I never had, nor ever will have a doubt.” Replied Twilight
Over the next two days, Trixie, Twilight, and Nyx looked after the foal until she was at full health again. Trixie adopted her and named her Daydream Star. The two of them decided to stay at Twilight’s castle until Daydream was 8 years old.
