The Dazzlings turn Twilight into a siren, but there's a HUGE backfire.
Twilight goes for a walk on her own, but is ambushed by the Dazzlings who place a fourth pendant around her neck. The pendants magic turns her into a siren, but there is a backfire for the Dazzlings that they didn't see coming.
"Ugh. As if it wasn't enough with those Rainbooms...Now we have a princess from equestria helping them in getting rid of us" Adagio groaned.
"We need to get her out of the way. But how do we do that?" Aria said thoughtful.
"Girls..." Sonata said quietly.
"I don't know, but we got to think of something ASAP." Adagio said ignoring Sonata.
"Girls.." Sonata said a little louder.
"Now is one of those moments I wish our pendants could be used to mind control people." Aria answered also ignoring Sonata.
"Girls." Sonata said in normal talking volume.
"We all know that it's impossible, though it would have been very helpful." Adagio said.
"GIRLS!!!" Sonata shouted. Her shout caused the other sirens to recoil in slight shock. "Can you listen please? I know what we can do about this problem." Sonata continued.
"And what is it?" Aria questioned expecting a completely ridiculous answer, but instead the response shocked her.
Sonata reached into her pocket and pulled out a siren pendant. "With this silly." she said and gave it to Adagio.
"This is perfect. Where did you find it?" Adagio asked.
"About five hundred and twenty five years ago." Sonata said with a giggle.
"So Twi. How's the counter spell comin' along?" Applejack asked.
"Well...A spell is hard enough to make, but turning it into a song is whole other story." Twilight said and put down her pen. "Sorry, but is it okay if I go for a walk to clear my head?" she asked.
"Of course Twilight! Go for a walk. We're not against it." Rainbow Dash said from the other side of the room.
"Thanks. Spike, you can stay here. I want to go alone." Twilight said while patting Spike's head.
"Okay Twilight." he answered with a salute.
Twilight gave everyone a smile before exiting the room. She walked through the corridors of the school which were surprisingly empty.
"Psst. Hey. Over here." a voice suddenly whispered.
Twilight looked around confused, but began walking in the direction of the voice.
"In here." the voice whispered through a barley open door.
As soon as Twilight opened the door somebody grabbed her and pulled her inside. She ended up finding herself pinned to a wall by two girls and a third girl standing in front of her.
"Good work on luring her here Sonata." Adagio said.
"W-wait. You are the Dazzlings?" Twilight asked remembering that Sunset said that one of the Dazzlings were named Sonata.
"Thanks for the enlightenment Mrs. Obvious." Aria said.
"Who we are isn't important right now. The more important thing is you." Adagio said. "You see. You arriving here caused our little Rainbooms problem to become a big problem. So we want to get you out of our way." she continued.
"What are you going to do? Kill me?" Twilight asked scared.
"Oh no no no. Something even better." Adagio said as she pulled out a pendant with a big red crystal on it. "Hold her in place girls." she said as she walked closer.
Twilight thrashed around trying to break free, but the sirens were far too strong for her. Adagio then put the pendant on her. Immediately Twilight felt a powerful magic rushing through her body and a violet streak formed in her hair. The two sirens let her go and she fell to her knees grabbing her head in pain trying to fight the foreign magic.
"Don't bother fighting it Twilight. Not even you will be able to fight it." Adagio said and pulled out a scarf which she wrapped around Twilight making sure to cover the pendant. "Your going to have a temporary fever. Better keep warm." Adagio said with a mocking tone at the last sentence before the Dazzlings left the room.
Twilight managed to gain the will to stand as she stumbled out of the room and down the hallway supporting herself on the wall. Eventually she made it to the room the Rainbooms occupied and opened the door.
"Twilight! You're back! We were begging to get worr-Twilight? Are you okay?" Sunset said.
"N-no I don't feel so good. I think I have a fever." Twilight said before she stumbled forward almost falling to the ground if Sunset didn't catch her.
Sunset put her hand on Twilight's forehead and instantly felt the heat coming from it.
"Dear Celestia Twilight! That forehead fells like you could cook eggs on it." Sunset said helping Twilight stand.
Just as they were about to go to the school nurse the school bell rang signaling the end of the day.
"Looks like we have to carry her to carry her all the way to Pinkie's house." Rainbow Dash said as she helped Sunset keep Twilight on her feet.
"Aww come on guys! It isn't that far!" Pinkie complained.
"Y-yeah...C-come on g-guys. *cough* C-cheer up..." Twilight said weakly.
Everyone gave a small smile at Twilight trying to stay positive despite her condition.
A new morning bloomed. This could be a beautiful day for many, for some it could be a terrible day and someone might find it somewhere in between. The Rainbooms thought it would be a beautiful day, but then...
*SPLASH*
"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"
A bucket of water fell over Rarity's head.
"WHAT HAPPENED?! WHO'S THERE?!" Rainbow Dash said jumping up from bed, but when she saw the soaked Rarity she fell over laughing.
"Rainbow Dash this isn't funny!!! Who did this?!?!" Rarity shouted.
The room fell silent for a few minutes as the Rainbooms looked at each other. Then they heard Twilight snicker before she burst out laughing as she came into the room with tears coming down her cheeks. She was no longer sick for some reason, but she was still wearing her scarf. She was wearing her pj and still wearing it.
"HAHAHA!! Rarity you should have seen your face. AHAHAHAHA!!!! Twilight laughed like it was the best day of her life while the others looked at each other in confusion.
"I whised I filmed that!!!" Twilight shouted continued laughing until she was out of breath and she panted to get back her breath. "I set it up just an hour ago! Oh, that was so worth it!" Twilight said as she calmed down. "Anyway, come to the dining room. I made you all some breakfast." Twilight said as she exited the room.
The others looked at each other in confusion before they got dressed. When they came to the dining room the table was set with a sandwich for everyone, but Twilight was nowhere to be seen.
"Twilight? Where you hidin'?" Applejack called out.
"One moment!" they heard Twilight shout from the bathroom.
When she came out into the dining room there was a clear difference about her. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She was now wearing an indigo t-shirt, a black leather jacket, dark purple pants, a spiked belt with a purple star as the buckle, black fingerless gloves and black boots with spikes on the backside of the ankles and star buckles. She had also discarded her scarf revealing the red crystal necklace.
"So. What do you think?" she said with excitement in her voice as she sat down at the table.
"Uh...Dark, but it suits you." Rainbow Dash said uncertain.
"Well thank you. I agree that it's dark, but I just thought it looked good." Twilight answered. "Now please sit down. I didn't make those sandwiches as decoration.".
The Rainbooms just shrugged and took a seat and began eating. Without anyone noticing it a grin slowly appeared on Twilight's face. Twilight then stood up and got a glass and a carton of milk. She placed the glass beside Rainbow Dash's platter and poured milk into it.
"Uh..Why are ya givin' RD a glass of milk?" Applejack asked.
"You'll see." Twilight said as she put the milk back in the fridge and sat back down at the table. "And in 3...2...1".
"IT'S HOT!!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted and chugged the glass of milk. "What did you put in this thing?".
"A streak with hot sauce." Twilight said and burst into a fit of laughter. "It's so easy to pull a prank on you!" Twilight said when she couldn't laugh anymore.
"Uh...Why are you so suddenly into pulling pranks?" Fluttershy asked.
"When I was little I was known as the queen of pranks." Twilight answered.
"When did your fever subside?" Rarity asked.
"Around midnight I think." Twilight said with a thoughtful look.
"How many pranks have you set up?" Pinkie asked.
Twilight had to think for a little bit to answer that question. "One more I think. I won't tell where it is though." she ended up answering.
"One more question." Sunset said. "Where did you get that necklace?".
At this everyone took a close look at the necklace around Twilight's neck. Some of them grew wide eyed, the rest let out a gasp of shock.
"Have you joined the Dazzlings?" Rainbow Dash said in shock.
"WHAT?! NO! OF COURSE NOT!" Twilight with an even more shocked tone.
"Then who gave you that necklace?" Sunset questioned.
"I....I don't remember." Twilight said.
"Was it a girl with orange puffy hair and mostly purple clothes? A girl with two purple and teal pigtails and rock star like outfit? Or a girl with a blue ponytail and a crazy clothes?" Pinkie asked.
"I don't think so. The only thing I can remember about the time I got this necklace is a blur image of the school hallway and someone whispering." Twilight answered.
"Hmm...We better check if that necklace is a siren pendant or just a normal necklace. Meet up in the music studio during lunch, okay?" Sunset said.
The Rainbooms exited Pinkie's house and started to walk towards the school. Rainbow Dash tried to look cool by walking in front of the group, but it's hard when a certain friend walks right next to you in dark clothing humming a melody. The hardest part to ignore was the fact that Twilight was starting to walk with a sway in her hip like Dazzlings usually did.
"I haven't worked on it since yesterday. So it stands on the same." Twilight answered.
As they came close to the school they heard the Dazzlings sing to gather negative energy. The Rainbooms walked straight up to them with Sunset in the front and Twilight behind. The Dazzlings noticed then stood up and meet them halfway. Aria was smiling smugly which wasn't a good sign, Sonata was happy as usual and Adagio had an evil grin (also not a good sign). The groups stopped about a meter away from each other and stared at each other for a while. After a few minutes Adagio's face softened.
"So how are you?" she asked.
This question shocked everyone. What was going on? Why was Adagio suddenly so nice?
"Could have been better if it weren't for you." Rainbow Dash said as she walked up in front. Aria moved forward at this.
"She wasn't talking to you." Aria said as she shoved Rainbow Dash away.
"Yeah. She was talking to her." Sonata said as she pointed at Twilight.
Everyone turned to Twilight after hearing Sonata say that. Twilight looked equally shocked.
"W-what?" she managed to say.
"Answer the question please." Adagio sighed.
"I-I'm fine, but i'm confused. Why are you so nice to me?" Twilight answered.
"Isn't it obvious?" Sonata said now standing beside Twilight and resting her arm on Twilight's shoulder having somehow sneaked around the Rainbooms without being noticed. "You're one of us." Sonata said with a wide smile.
A loud gasp came from the group and Twilight just stared in shock.
"WHAT?!" the Rainbooms shouted in unison.
"Hello? Have you even noticed her necklace? It sticks out like a taco on a table with burritos!" Sonata said with a giggle.
"I-I'm a Siren?!" Twilight exclaimed in shock.
"Again Mrs. Obvious. Yes!" Aria said
"Woah, woah, woah! How can you know that for certain?" Rainbow Dash argued.
"Sonata. Could you try and rip that pendant off Twilight's neck?" Adagio asked.
"With pleasure!" Sonata said and grabbed Twilight's necklace.
Sonata gave pull after pull, but the pendant sat on like it was a physical part of Twilight. Aria even joined in to keep Twilight in place while Sonata pulled at the necklace. It was actually a little funny to watch. Sonata even put both of her feet on Twilight's shoulders and pulled, but nothing worked.
"Okay I give up!" Sonata said after a few minutes.
"See? There's your proof." Aria said while giving Dash a mocking look just to rub it in.
"Okay, okay you made your point. Now what do you want?" Rainbow Dash demanded.
"We want Twilight to come with us." Adagio answered smugly.
"WHAT?!" the Rainbooms shouted in unison.
"You're crazy! What makes you think we'll just let Twilight go with you?!" Rarity shouted.
"Well let's just get it clear that it's a matter of life and death." Adagio replied.
"Huh?" was all anyone could say.
*Sigh* "I was hoping I could avoid this, but seems I have no choice." Adagio said as she facepalmed.
The three sirens gently touched their pendants and green mist appeared. For a few moments the mist just floated around, but then it shot towards the Rainbooms and enveloped them. When the mist cleared everyone except the Dazzlings were knocked out cold.
"Grab her and let's get her to our music room." Adagio said and walked towards the school.
Aria and Sonata grabbed Twilight and carried her into the school.
Twilight slowly woke up to find herself lying on a couch in a music room in the school. When she turned her head she came face to face with Sonata.
"Girls! She's awake!" Sonata cheered and after a few moments the two other Dazzlings entered the room.
"Wha-what's going?" Twilight asked and sat up scared.
"Calm down. We're not going to hurt you." Adagio said while taking a seat next to Twilight.
"What do you want?" Twilight asked not calming down at all.
"Again. Calm down. Take deep breaths. What we will tell you may cause you to hyperventilate if you don't calm down." Adagio answered.
Twilight did what Adagio said and took deep breaths trying to calm down. It took some time, but after some effort she managed to calm down.
"Good. To answer your question. We want to help you." Adagio said.
"Help me? What do you mean with that?" Twilight questioned.
"You see, a newly born/created siren have to learn to control their power or they will die. We want to help you make sure that it doesn't happen." Adagio explained.
"Why do you suddenly care about me so much? Aren't I supposed to be your enemy? And most of all I barely even know who you are!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Well...When a siren "creates" another siren by giving them a pendant they kinda become..." Adagio paused. "...Sisters." she finished.
"WHAT?!?!" Twilight shouted as she stood up on the couch, lost her balance and fell behind it. "Ugh...I'm okay..." she groaned as she stood up again while rubbing her head.
"Don't you think she's a little soft and easily scared to be a siren? I think she needs to be toughen up a bit." Aria whispered to Adagio
"Yeah. Although this will take a lot of our magic, but I think it will be worth it." Adagio whispered back. "Twilight come over here please." Adagio said.
"O-okay." Twilight said and although she hesitated a few times she walked over to Adagio and Aria.
As soon as Twilight was one meter away the two sirens placed their hand on their gems and green mist flowed out of them. The mist flowed silently around them for a few moments before it shot forward and into Twilight's pendant. When all the green mist had flowed into Twilight's gem her eyes changed from purple to magenta and she passed out.
Twilight slowly stirred awake and sat up. Her head pounded and she felt dizzy.
"Hey she's waking up again!" Sonata exclaimed cheerfully.
"Don't you think we gave a little too much?" Adagio said to Aria.
"Nah. I think we gave enough." Aria answered.
"Let's test it then." Adagio said and walked over to Twilight. "Here let me help you up." she said and held out her hand.
Twilight wanted to take it and say thank you, but instead without thinking she firmly pushed Adagio's hand away.
"Don't bother. I can get up myself." she said, though right after she said it she placed her hand over her mouth. Shocked by what she had just said.
"Wow. She is assertive. That's a good sign." Aria said under her breath and smirked.
Twilight stood up and apologized for her rude reaction, but Adagio shrugged it off and changed the topic. They talked for about half an hour before Adagio thought it was enough for the day.
"Anyway. You should get back to your friends now. You can come back here tomorrow." Adagio said as she stood up and opened the door to room and motioned for Twilight to go out.
Twilight didn't say anything, but she walked out of the room without any questions. She walked through the hallways trying to find the English classroom. After a few minutes of searching she found another student.
"Hello? Can you tell me where the English class is?" Twilight asked.
"Why should I care? It's your problem. Not mine." the student said angrily.
"Can you at least tell me which direction I should go?" Twilight asked and for some reason she couldn't explain she felt herself losing her patience.
"Yeah! Out the exit! Leave the school and don't come back!" the student snapped at her as he began to walk away.
Twilight wanted to just walk away, but her anger had built up too much. She saw red. She pushed him from behind causing him to fall to the floor. She then rolled him onto his back before giving a few punches to the face so that his nose began to bleed slightly. She grabbed his shoulders, pulled him up on his feet and proceeded to slam him against the wall about three times.
"Where is the English class?!" she asked angrily.
"Go to hell!" he answered which earned him a slap on the face.
"Tell me! Where is the English class?!" she almost shouted.
"Die in a hole!" he answered. This earned him three slaps on the face and two slams against the wall.
They continued like that for a few minutes before he finally gave up.
"The English class is down the left hall in the second door on the left." he said.
"Thank you." Twilight said and let go of him.
While she walked down the hallway she thought back at what she had just done. A part of her was seriously regretting it and another part her thought it was justified, heck it even thought it felt good to take her anger out on someone. Something so wrong felt so right. She reached the classroom and opened the door. She was thankfully met with Miss Cheerilee in the middle of a lecture. She quietly made her way through the classroom and sat down by a free desk next to Sunset. The time went by quickly and before they knew it, it was lunch break. The main 7 took a seat on the left side of the cafeteria as far away from the Dazzlings as possible. Though something wasn't right. Sonata was nowhere to be seen.
"Huh, that weird. Where did the blue one go?" Pinkie asked.
"I don't know. I just got myself some food and then I just sat down at a table. By the way, my name is Sonata Dusk." Sonata answered. Having somehow sat down next to Twilight and Sunset without anyone noticing.
"AAAHHH!!!" everyone screamed.
"How does she do that?!" Applejack asked.
"I think we should put as a Pinkie Pie case. You'll have a better chance at catching light then understanding how she works." Twilight said trying to hinder an argument from breaking out.
"Ah reckon ya have a point there sugarcube." Applejack replied. Allowing Twilight to let out a sigh of relief.
"But why are you here and not with the other two?" Rainbow asked.
"Because I wanted to see Twilight of course!" Sonata answered.
"While that's very nice of you I think you should go back to Adagio and Aria." Twilight replied.
"Aww. Okay then. See ya later sis'" Sonata said before she walked off.
Once she was out of earshot everyone turned to Twilight.
"SIS'?!" they exclaimed.
*Sigh* "You see-"
"Could Twilight Sparkle come to my office as soon as possible?" Principal Celestia's voice said over the speakers.
'This can't be good.' Twilight thought as she stood and walked out of the cafeteria.
Twilight opened the door and immediately noticed the boy she had only a few hours ago beaten to kingdom come.
"Twilight Sparkle. Please take a seat." Celestia said gesturing towards an empty chair.
Twilight silently closed the door and sat down on the chair.
"From what I've heard. You started beating Sandalwood here without reason a few hours ago." Celestia explained. "Is this true?"
"Well, yes and no. Yes I did throw punches at him, but I had a reason. Even if it wasn't a good one." Twilight answered.
"Oh? Might I ask what it was?" Celestia asked raising an eyebrow.
"He was being mean to me. It started with him refusing to tell me where English class was. Then he started telling me to go to hell, die in a hole and leave school and never return." Twilight explained.
*Knock, knock, knock*
"Come in." Celestia said out loud and the door was opened.
Meanwhile outside the principals office.
"What do you think happened?" Sunset asked the main 5.
"Yer guess is as good as mine." Applejack answered.
"I hope it's not something bad." Fluttershy replied quietly.
"Hey what's going on here?" a voice suddenly came from behind Fluttershy making her yelp and fall to the floor and revealing Aria standing behind her.
"Why is everyone standing outside the principal's office?" Aria asked.
"None of your business." Rainbow Dash said.
"You can't fool me. Is Twilight in there?" Aria replied.
Sunset sighed. "Yes. Yes she is." she said.
Aria raised an eyebrow, but then made her way to the door and gave it three firm knocks.
"Come in." Celestia's voice said on the other side.
Aria grabbed the handle and opened the door. She walked inside making sure to close it in the Rainbooms' face.
"What happened?" Aria asked as she pulled out a chair and sat down next to Twilight.
"Twilight here attacked Sandalwood a few hours ago." Celestia explained.
Aria raised an eyebrow. 'Wow that happened sooner than I expected' she thought as gave Twilight a quick glance.
"Well did Sandalwood do anything wrong?" Aria asked.
"Sandalwood himself claims to have done nothing wrong. While Twilight says that he was being very mean." Celestia explained.
"Well from what I've heard, Twilight is an honest person. I think you should trust her explanation." Aria said slightly touching her necklace.
Celestia's eyes gave a quick and short green glow. "Maybe your right. Now. Sandalwood and Twilight. Apologize to each other."
Twilight and Sandalwood hesitated for a few seconds before they began speaking.
"I'm sorry for saying so many mean things to you."
"I'm sorry for beating you up."
"Good. Now I hope we can forget about this and be friends again. Dismissed." Celestia said gesturing to the door.
Twilight, Aria and Sandalwood stood up and walked out of the office meeting the main 6 outside.
Sandalwood just walked past while Twilight and Aria stayed with the main 6.
"I'll take my leave now." Aria said and walked away.
"What happened in there Twilight? What did she do?" Sunset asked.
"Nothing much, but she helped me. I don't know why though." Twilight said and looked in the direction Aria had gone.
"We're gonna have to look deeper into this." Sunset said before the school bell rang signaling the end of lunch.
