Visitation is key
It wasn’t a pleasant noon that Blazing Wind and Verena Sparks are at the newly repaired train station of Griffonstone waiting for a creature to arrive, and this creature is Blaze's bestest friend in her whole life. Blaze looked at Verena, she had a frown on her face, they have been waiting there for almost an hour. Blaze wrapped her wing around Verena, Verena looked at the griffon beside her and nuzzled her feathers.
Blaze smiled at the simple gesture and took all the love from it. When Verena stopped nuzzling, she started to shiver, Blaze took a quick glance at her surroundings and saw every griffon shivering, and she smiled. A breeze started to occur and little by little the breeze grows stronger and stronger, every griffon in the station started to hold on at the railings preventing themselves to fly off. Blaze tightened the hold of her wing to Verena.
A train from Ponyville just arrived and the breeze grew stronger, the train door open revealing a stallion shouting; GriffonStone. Griffons started to come out of the train, and some ponies with cameras. Two mares came out from the cart and then the train started to chug it's way to the next station.
Griffons started to bow at the two mares that came out of the train, even Verena. Blaze didn't care about the creatures around her, she removed her wing around Verena and ran at the two ponies and hugged the pony with a blue coat and purple mane and tail with strands of rainbow at the middle of her mane and tail her Cutie Mark was a Cloud with a big rainbow Sparkle in the middle. Verena noticed her mother hugged royalty and was shocked by Blaze's sudden action.
Verena soon joined the three creatures talking, the other mare had a purple coat and a purple mane and tail with strands of a even lighter purple and her Cutie Mark had a big Sparkle and five small sparkles surrounding the big one. Blaze wrapped her wing around her daughter's back keeping her from shivering, she looked at the confused griffon at her side,"Vere meet you're godmother; Shiver Blitz and her mother; Twilight Sparkle,"
Verena's mouth opened in shock, her godmother is the Princess of the Wind, Blaze closed it with her wing then looked back at the two princesses in front of them, she gave them a sly grin with a 'I told you so' look. Shiver rolled her eyes and she looked at her goddaughter lost in thought, she put her hoof at her shoulder,"Hey, c'mon think that I am just a ordinary pony, me and mom don't like to be called princess around family and even honorary family, especially the daughters of best friends,"
Verena shook her head violently then looked at Shiver in the eyes, her eyes were sparkling as she looked at the alicorn. Twilight and Shiver, two of the alicorn princesses that rule Equestria by title; Celestia, Princess of the Sun. Luna, Princess of the Moon. Cadence, Princess of Love. Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship. Flurry Heart, Princess of Water and Shiver Blitz, Princess of the Wind.
"Twilight, how long can Shiver be here? Ya know, with all the princess duties back home?" Verena and Shiver looked at the two mares talking.
Blaze seemed to get Twilight's notice,"Well since, me and Rainbow are covering up for Shiver's princess duties, doing my own princess duties and doing Rainbow's lieutenant duties," She put a hoof at her chin, she realised that the breeze here is a little cold, then looked at Shiver,"Well maybe a month,"
Shiver's ears flattened,"A month isn't going going to fill up our; catching up, bonds of friendship, Mom. I thought you're the princess of friendship, but you prevent you're own daughter's friendship to build up," She pouted her face,"That is not fair!" Blaze continued and joined the pouting face competition with Shiver.
Twilight chuckled beneath her breath,"Well how could I let my daughter stay in this kind of wind pressure?" She motioned the breeze of wind in the air, while giving Shiver a sly grin,"Now that isn't good enough for my daughter's health ain't it?" The sly grin grew larger every second, and it was clear, she was not herself.
Shiver and Blaze rolled their eyes, and looked at each other with a plain face, Blaze looked at the griffon at her side still at shock that her godmother is a princess, well she still haven't let her know about her story. The two looked back at Twilight, Shiver flared out her wings, as Blaze nodded.
Blaze then flared out her wings, Verena started to shiver again, Twilight put her wing around the griffon and watched her daughter and her best friend do the magic. Blaze flew high above, as Shiver did the same, Blaze breathed in with all her might and Shiver's forelegs were across each other, every second a ball of breeze started to form on Shiver's forelegs, she held the ball at the direction of Griffonstone station and Griffonstone itself, she nodded at Blaze and Blaze breathed out, she did not breath out air, but she breathed out fire.
The fire and the ball of breeze mixed up, Shiver widen her foreleg and Blaze's flames turned into green, the ball grew larger and larger at the pass of every second. Blaze stopped breathing out, and nodded at Shiver while Shiver nodded back, it was Shiver's turn to breath in and then out, when she breathed out the ball of hot breeze disappeared and the two landed back at the ground.
All the creatures in the station stopped shivering, Blaze and Shiver didn't lose a sweat one bit. Verena pulled away from Twilight's wing and ran towards her mother then hugged her. Blaze was surprised at her sudden action but she knew that it was just a worrying action of a daughter to a mother, she did blew out green flames from her own breath.
When Verena pulled out of the embrace, she gave Blaze a warm smile and Blaze did the same, she walked with them on their way at Twilight, who was giving them a sly grin, Blaze and Shiver's faces stared plainly as they look at Twilight. Shiver bumped Blaze with her flank and got her attention, the two looked at each other, talking mentally with looks. Blaze spat out her tongue as Shiver rolled her eyes,"So what, how long am I staying here, Mom?"
Twilight put her hoof at her chin,"Fine, you can come home, for three months, but you have to come at every summit there is at the past three months," The two nodded. Twilight looked at her ticket and gasp in shock,"Aww, for Celestia's sake, my ticket goes for tomorrow!" She angrily stomped the wooden floor.
"Ya sure you didn't plan this through?" Blaze tone of voice was in mysterious mode.
Twilight's face turned plain,"And why would I do that? I have to attend a meeting today," She started to pace back and forth, mumbling words,"Oh, I hope, Rainbow won't complain of me arriving tomorrow and--"
She felt wind on her tail then looked back and saw a faint rainbow trail, she facehoofed when she heard hooves stomping rapidly on the wooden floor, she was going to start apologising when she turned around, but when she turned she saw a not shocked but a cyan pegasus mare with a rainbow mane and tail, looking at her with a raised eyebrow, Twilight opened her mouth but no words formed, so Rainbow was the first to speak up,"I saw the green ball of wind and I checked it out, then look who I found," She looked at the creatures behind her, then back at her wife with a sly grin.
Twilight chuckled sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head, she didn't notice that the ball could be seen in Ponyville. Blaze, Verena and Shiver facehoofed and facepawed at the same time. Rainbow wanted to know why there was a green ball of breeze coming from this very place, she opened her mouth to question but was cut off by Shiver's voice,"Sorry to waste you're time, Dad, but Mom here said that I will be staying here for a month, and we refused,"
Rainbow turned at her daughter,"A month? Aren't you suppose to be here for three months?" She paused and looked back at here wife.
"Twilight here is complaining about our weather, the temperature here just dropped and Twilight seemed to notice, she didn't want Shiver to stay in this kind of weather for three months," Blaze continued Shiver's explanation.
"So why was there a ball of green -- Ohhhh," She looked back at Twilight,"I missed it didn't I? The performance?" Her face started to form a pout and eyes that were pleading the answer no, Twilight nodded as Rainbow's gaze fell on the floor.
Twilight wrapped her wing around the pegasus and stole a kiss on the cheek,"Why wont we fly home now wouldn't we?" Rainbow looked Twilight in the eyes, as Twilight got near her ear and whispered; "I heard Spike isn't home, why wont we have fun instead," Rainbow's hopes got up and her face got back at her confident self, she puffed out her chest and gave Twilight a predatory smile, as the two flew back at their home to have Fun like what Twilight had said.
The three facehoofed and pawed, Verena hovered between Shiver and Blaze,"Why did Prin-- Ugh, I mean, Twilight pace like that, when she can fly her way home?" The two didn't look at the griffon beside them.
"Well because, even she is a princess she still the same old Twilight Sparkle," Blaze answered,"C'mon, lets go home, Kaldor is making dinner and you're aunt and uncle are coming home!" She started to trot out of the station, followed by Verena and Shiver.
The walk was a pleasant one, even for the road to be long, it was still pleasant, the temperature got back at it's normal and they were enjoying each others company, making the walk warm and comfortable for the three creatures. For Verena it was the best, she haven't hung out with her mother since she was a child, Blaze was too busy patrolling and arresting griffons that disobeyed the new rules in GriffonStone that she and Verena didn't have time to hang out more often.
They stopped at the gate and let Shiver admire the newly constructed gate. When Shiver was done, the three walked down at the street with a sign saying: "EFRON MEMORIAL STREET". Legend has that the name Efron was one of GriffonStone's gods from above, Efron was the god of Life and Magic just like Gaia in pony histories, but he is a griffon that hid himself and joined life with his subjects, some even said he had a family that was killed a few years ago.
They stopped again at a simple house in the street, in fact it was the smallest. Blaze opened the door with her paw while chatting with Shiver, she didn't notice Verena was already inside.
When Verena went inside, she darted towards the kitchen, dishes clanging as she entered the kitchen. Shiver sat at the familiar couch near the warm and cozy fireplace,”Sorry for my Mom being Twilight Sparkle at that moment in the station. She still is a little overprotective when it comes to me after the II Equestrian War between Equestria and Outsiders years ago,” Shiver apologised.
Blaze sat beside her childhood friend and smiled warmly,”Don’t mention it! I understand, been the same with me. Kaldor, Gilda and Gallus has been overprotective recently,” She replied. Her paw started to glow a fiery aura, when the aura charged, a small fiery flash ignited, blinding a creature who dares to look closely at the source, at her paw summoned a spoon,”And also, Geo has been training me in and out, putting me in patrols and arrests,”
“Same here, Mom and Dad have been teaching me advanced techniques in magic and flight attacks, which I would love but all of it came out of the blue, that’s very weird of them doing so,” The two put a hoof and paw on their chins thinking it out all serious and a little clever, but,”Argh! It’s too frustrating to think about it! All of it leads into one thing! Their just being overprotective!” Shiver threw her hooves in the air and dropped down, back first, in the couch, mumbling,”It’s hopeless,”
Blaze followed Shiver’s action with her eyes and smirked,”Ya know, sometimes you’re just like you’re Dad and Mom at the same time,” The two giggled, then the giggles found by laughs of two most joyous and close friends.
A knock on the door gave notice to the griffons on the kitchen,”I’ll get it!” Kaldor exclaimed.
Kaldor walked out of the kitchen followed by Verena. As Kaldor put a paw on the door knob, he looked furious at the door itself like he wanted to teare it piece by piece. As he switched the knob he creaked the door open in a eye hollow space checking who was outside, when he confirmed he opened the door wide and exclaimed;”Gallus Gilda! So glad you guys could make it!”
And the evening turned out well as the whole family ate dinner with the knewly arrived members.

A guard running in the hall of fame of worthy, skilful and the heroic creatures on griffin kind.

He was passing by all of the griffon guards and the little griffons that were having feild trips.
Panting...
Gaurds stopped in in his tracks when they saw where he was going.
Panting...
He was carrying a scroll in his wing with a golden ribbon to prove that he’s report is imperative.
Finally he reached the tall wooden doors and slammed it open jumping and alarming the griffons on the other side. He heavily panted waiting for a response from his King and restoring stamina and composure for him to speak.
Gaurds jumped but alerted at the same time, their spears pointed and locked on the new Griffin in the room, they started to charge but was stopped in their tracks with a simple hand sign from the one sitting in the middle,”I was expecting him,”
The guard gulped catching his breath, his wing lend out the scroll and opened it, he inhaled and then exhaled and then read out loud.

I’ve heard about you’re plan and I was surprised of you offering a thug like me to join you’re army, not just a guard but a general of the whole army.
Back in the old days I’d say yes, but with the Sparkles and the Elements alive nd active, I have to see and know it by facing you in real life. I want to join the battle, but if it’s worthless then me just waisting my life is not what I’m gonna do.

The guard finished reading and passed out on the floor and was caught by another guard. The King smirked,”Excellent. The plan is going out perfectly, but I have to go through phase 1.5 as expected,” He looked at his side,”Gray, ready the gold and weapons, we have company,”
“It will be ready in a flash, my king,” He bowed and disappeared.
The smirk on his face grew larger,”Let the battle begin,”
