Sunset looked over the roof and onto the snowy ground.

"Just a few steps, and it'll all be over."

She hadn't noticed the sound of the roof-access door opening.

"You too, huh?"

"Gah!" Sunset exclaimed, snapping around.

Messy blue hair, an old jacket, bluejeans, a shirt that read ХАЦК МЕ, АНД ЁУьЛЛ БЕ УП ШИТ ЦРЕЕК, a pair of muted-blue laseless shoes, and circular eyeglass frames were all she could make out.

"Trust me," he said, "I know the feeling."

Walking over to her, she could tell he had a pair of wings under the jacket and a pair of fangs.

"You've tried?"

"No," he said, "But one stupid move and I'd be dead."

Sunset still couldn't make out who it was.

"I'm not God, you know."

"Seth?"

"Depression?"

"Let me guess, you're just going to tell me to write to Princess Twilight, go make up with Princess Celestia, or go back to my former-friends. But it won't work. I've tried."

"Actually no."

Sunset was taken back by this.

"What... what do you mean?"

"I'm not saying whether you should or shouldn't jump, but what I am about to say, well, just know that I'd do what my heart wants."

"I kind of want to jump, but I don't know if I should. I've heard that if you die, at least in this world, you'll go onto a better one if you've lived a good life or something. Otherwise, it's just lights out."

"I'm not going to call bullcrap on any of anyone's claims like that. I don't know if they're true and, frankly, as a vampire, it's not my place in any right."

"One stupid move?"

"One stupid move. Before Luna turned me into a vampire, I felt like a hunk of garbage. After she turned me, everything was all good and well while I was living with her and Celestia."

"Then what?"

Both of them sat at the edge of the roof.

"Greg came back home, so I went back to the house. I started having problems again, so I came up here. My heart wanted to jump, but I would come to the edge. One move, I'd be out of everyone's asses. Every time I got to the edge, though I would look up at the moon, then over to East-Canterlot, notice the clubs and nightlife, and fly over to it."

"Just... do you think I should jump?"

Seth sighed, "I can't make that decision for you. While I'm not about to say for you to stick around, just so you can get shot or beaten, I'm also not going to say for you to jump and end it all tonight. That's something you have to decide yourself. Just remember, if you jump, there's no turning back. I know that much."

They both stood up.

"Seth?"

"Yeah?"

"I think I've made my peace with about as much as I can here. The books in Princess Celestia's library said that her daughter-by-birth would get her wings when she made peace," Sunset sighed, "I'm ready. For my funeral, could you... make it... not-so-sad?"

The two embraced a hug.

"Even when you were Queen-Bitch, did I ever hold back on anything meaningful?"

Sunset replied with a smile of content.

"I swear by everything that is holy, I'll make you proud," he kissed her forehead, "I don't know if you'll remember this, but I was always there. If you do decide to stay, you'll always have me, Greg, and Mitzi."

"Thanks, but I've made my peace."

"Then I won't stop you."

"One more thing."

"Yes?"

"Can you play the piano?"

"I can."

"I want you to do that."

"You got it," he replied with a smile.

"I'll miss you," she said, hugging the vampire again.

"You too, fireball."

After about a minute, Sunset went over to the ledge and jumped.

Soon, he heard the unmistakable sound of her neck snapping on impact as his watch beeped 0:00.

"Your first world didn't work, your second worked for a while, maybe three's the charm."

The whole school, the Mane 6 from Equestria, and Princess Celestia were gathered in the gym where Sunset's funeral was taking place. Everyone was dressed in black, with the exception of the Equestrians, both Celestias, and Seth.

Sunset's body had been cleaned.

She looked like she was asleep.

Happy.

Seth had went all out, but he didn't know any funeral pieces, so he improvised.

For Sunset, he thought, beginning the East-German National Anthem in a slow, somber fashion.

"Ah... Ah wonder what coulda made 'er ta do this," Human Applejack said.

"Shut... the fuck... up," Princess Twilight said through gritted teeth, tears running down her face, "The five of you will live the rest of your lives in a dungeon in Equestria."

Applejack took the advice and promptly closed her mouth, as with the other human elements.

It was out of character for the princess to be mad, but to say that... was unheard of.

Her statement reigned true for them and anyone who tried to troll Sunset's body.

"Seth," Princess Celestia said as she and Princess Twilight went to the vampire as he was trying to play the march in a funeral-esq mood, "You were close at the end. What did you say?"

"She thought she screwed everything over, and that she had no chance in both worlds. Equestria didn't seem to turn out so well from what she told me, and she was abandoned here. People say that there is an afterlife. If you lead a good enough life, you'll make it there. Otherwise, you just die."

"What do... what do you think? I don't... never did... want my little sunbeam to... to feel depressed."

Princess Celestia was using her white robes to wipe tears from her eyes.

"Why did... you want us to wear white?" Twilight said, "It's a sign of life. Black... black is... is for... mourning."

"Sunset said she's made peace to get into the next world," he smiled, beginning to play a song he associated with her, only slightly faster than the others, Chollima on the Wing.

???, ??:??; Somewhere In A Paradise

When she hit the ground, the world only went black for a second before she found herself in a field, new clothes, and with a pair of wings just like her mom's.

She felt no pain.

No sadness.

Only joy.

Sunset knew she could never go back, though.

"Princess Celestia, Mom," she said to herself, taking her boots off and putting her feet in a stream of cool water, "I'm ready to be your daughter. I'm sorry it took so long."

Nonsense, my child, she heard her mom's voice in her head.

She knew that she wasn't there.

That they wouldn't see each other.

Again.

Ever.

"But I'm ready. Even if I am late."

Since she had arrived in this place, she didn't have a sense of time, so when someone came to her, she didn't know if she had been there for a minute, several eons, or somewhere in between.

"I told your mom," a familiar voice said.

Sunset turned around, but didn't find a vampire.

"What?"

Seth, but no vampire.

Not as messy, either.

"One stupid move."

"What happened?"

He sat next to her, leaving his sandals on when he put his feet in the stream.

"No vampires in the afterlife, apparently."

"No, what happened?"

"CHS has about 25% of its students left. 75% of the original body trolled you, so now they're rotting in Equestrian Dungeons. Your former-friends are with them, and I decided to jump the following day at midnight. Exactly a week after you. I know you're going to ask this, so I didn't try to learn any new songs just for your funeral. I had your mom, Princess Twilight, and the Equestrian others come in white. Princess Celestia made the week that you were dead into a holiday. She'll only raise the Sun halfway, and nopony sees her during that time. Essentially all of Equestria is put on pause for the week. Princess Twilight and her friends are going to try to come into the human world as much as possible to keep order and help Celestia. Greg and Mitzi weren't sad when I went, but only because I told them not to be. They knew it was for you, so they accepted it immediately. Your mom really loves you."

"How do I know that you won't hurt me?"

"I gave up Earth and being a vampire to come here, didn't I?"

Sunset forced a hug on Seth, knocking both of them into the stream.

"Sunset!" Seth laughed.

"Seth!" Sunset laughed in response.

After playing in the stream, they laid on their backs on the ground.

"Seth?"

"Yeah?"

"New life?"

"New life."
