In the forests of Hyrule, the four Links travel in search of- wait. Are those 6 colorful PONYS? Wut?
As everypony knows, a hero is a hero. Even if he can't use teamwork. But when Zelda is kidnapped (again), Link alone can't save her. Not even with the magic of the four sword on his side. So with the help of their new friends from Equestria, the Mane 6, the four Links will save Hyrule and Equestria! The first installment in the My Little Crossover: Nintendo is Magic series.

*Crash!* *Thud!* * Shatter!* The sounds of a robbery could be heard all through Castle Town that evening.
Inside, the bakery being robbed was trashed. Cookies, cake, and other sweets littered the floor. The clerk, who was being held back by the ruffians, thought to herself, Those knights of Hyrule are too slow! Surly someone has sent for help by now!
The leader of the group, who had stuffed all the ruupies into a bag (and eaten most of the cookies), was still destroying the shop and laughing.
The clerk, who had not said one word other than the occasional scream, at last spoke up when the crooks grabbed an award certificate.
"Oh, please! Please don't take that! Take anything you want, just not that!"
The leader looked at her, then he laughed. "Well," he said,"How about I take YOU instead!"
He snapped his fingers, and the pirates grabbed a swatch of cloth to tie over her mouth.
"Oh, no! Please, no! Please!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as she fought back with all her strength.
All of a sudden, as if by magic, there was a *Crash!* and the ruffians holding down the clerk were on the ground. Glass shattered and littered the floor, and there was a box of pans on the ground.
The leader looked up to the window, and then a boy in a green tunic jumped at him, ninja style.
*Bam!* Right in the face! And he's down!
The boy got up and got into a fighting stance. Then he drew his sword with his left hand.
To the clerk he said, "Get behind me!" The clerk said nothing, only obeyed the left-handed boy with a sword.
The leader sat up, rubbed his head, and blinked in shock a few times at the boy. "Wait," He said. "Is this a joke? The infamous left-handed hero Link, is only a child?" He had a surprised look on his face.
Link smirked and said, "Big things come in small packages." And without warning, he rushed at the villain.
Now, the fight itself was really, really, REALLY long. So, in an effort to save time, lets put it like this;
At the end of the fight, the leader of the robbers looked like he was stuffed in a blender set on 'whip'. Link was breathless, but unhurt.
The clerk rushed over to Link and thanked him.
He replied, "No problem, Miss! Oh, and here! These are yours!" He handed the clerk the bag of ruupies and the award certificate.
"Oh, thank you so much!" Said the clerk, and then she gave him a hug.
As she let go of Link, the Knights of Hyrule FINALLY showed up. Well, its about time! The clerk thought to herself, as Link slowly inched away from her.
The knight in front took in the scene. Then he saw the crook on the ground. "Well, Pirate Pete, I thought you learned your lesson! But a bakery is quite a step down from a bank, don't you think?" He said.
The Clerk looked at him and said, "Oh, no, there really is no need! The situation has already been handled, sir."
"Handled? By whom?" The lead knight asked. Then he noticed Link, who had inched to the door and was almost home free.
"Link?" The lead knight said to him.
"Aww, man!" Link muttered under his breath. "Yes, father?" he replied.
Link's father said, "Link, you really must stop this! You could have been hurt! You should have waited for us to arrive."
"But if I had waited for you, it would have been to late!" Link retorted. "And besides, you would have slowed me down."
"Link, don't forget your on a team! We need to work together in order to accomplish something big. The sooner you understand this, the better." His dad replied.
"Well, I don't need to be on a team! If any problems come my way, I can handle them on my own no problem!" And with that, Link left the store.
I don't need them. I can handle anything on my own. Link thought to himself as he walked down the streets of Hyrule. And anyway, what are the chances a problem shows up that involves teamwork?
If only he knew...

The sun was setting, the birds were singing, and Twilight was finally relaxed.
"Ah, this was long overdue!" She said as she laid in the soft grass under the apple tree.
Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Spike were napping under the tree as well.
"Yes, darling! With the Grand Galloping Gala only a few days away, we have been so busy!" Said Rarity.
Rainbow Dash looked up and said with a smile, "Yeah, 'nd its so nice to take a break from all the flying 'nd the gardening 'nd the sewing 'nd the dancing 'nd the-"
"Its just so peaceful." Applejack interrupted. "And I got a fealin' we ain't never gonna see another sunset like that again."
"Yeah..." Everypony agreed. They all sat in silence as they watched the most beautiful sunset they have ever seen.
Suddenly, Twilight felt a throbbing in her skull. She clutched her head in her hoofs in pain and grimaced.
"Twilight? Are you okay?" Asked Fluttershy, looking concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Replied Twilight, still holding her head.
"Hey, maybe all that hard work had broken her brain! How 'bout I throw her a party when we get home?" Asked Pinkie Pie, grinning.
Twilight managed a smile. "Sure, that sounds nice. Thanks, Pinkie." She put her hooves down. "Whatever that pain was, its gone now."
Just then, Twilight's eyes went all white. She stared strait ahead absently.
Spike shook Twilight, hoping to snap her out of it. She didn't respond. "She, like, turned into a zombie or a statue or somthin'!" He exclaimed.
"I'll get some water!" Rainbow Dash piped in. And with that, she grabbed a bucket and sped through the air in a flash to the nearest creek.
And Twilight still stared blankly.
Pinkie Pie tried waving her hooves on front of Twilight's face. Nothing.
Rarity tried pulling Twilight's mane and tail. Nothing.
Fluttershy tried singing in Twilight's ear as loud as she could(which isn't saying much, since Fluttershy's voice is so soft.). Nothing.
Spike tried breathing fire in front of Twilight. That always got her going before. Not this time.
Applejack tried bucking the apple tree, hoping the apples hitting Twilight's head would wake her up. Nothing.
Then Rainbow returned with the water and poured it on Twilight's head. And she finally woke up.
"Wha- what happened?" Asked Twilight.
"You blacked out and then your eyes went white and Rarity screamed and then Rainbow went to get some water and then we tried waking you up but nothing happened and then Rainbow came back and poured the water on you and now your back!" Said Pinkie in one breath. Then she took a big gasp of air after her long run on sentence. *GASP!*
Twilight looked at Pinkie. "Woah, sorry I asked."
"What in tarnation was that anyway, Twi?" Asked Applejack.
"I- I saw something..." Said Twilight.
"What did you see? Can you remember?" Asked Fluttershy.
"Umm..." Twilight said. "I saw... that shrine. Where we found the Elements of Harmony. There was something in the basement...."
"What? What was down there?"Asked Rainbow impatiently.
"A... a crystal ball. But it looked like... a ball of water... More like a liquid than a solid. And there was an image inside." Said Twilight.
"What? WHAT!" Said Rainbow. She was dying of suspense.
"... I don't remember. It was too blurry to see inside." Twilight said sadly. She looked down at the grass, trying to remember.
"Aw, COME ON!" Rainbow said suddenly. She flopped down in the grass in frustration.
Then, Twilight looked up. "But I bet if we went there, we could see for ourselves!" She exclaimed.
"What does that mean?" Asked Spike.
Twilight look at the mountain on which the shrine sat. "It means we need to pack our saddle bags." She said.
Everypony looked at her.
Twilight continued to stare at the shrine. "We're going up there to find out whats in that liquid ball."
"And when I try to reason with him, he just discards my advise and acts like its nothing! I worry for his safety, Princess."
After explaining what happened last night to the young Princess Zelda, Link's father looks up to Zelda, who sits high on her throne, and asks her if she can talk to him instead.
"I am sorry, but Link has a free spirit. I cannot make him listen if he does not want to listen, even as a princess." Zelda responds sadly.
"You have been his life long childhood friend, Zelda. Your the only hope I have to get through to him. Can you at least try to talk to him later, Your Highness?"
Zelda sighs, and looks at Link's dad with understanding. "I will see what I can do, but I cannot promise anything."
"Thank you, princess." And with that, he bows to Zelda and leaves.
A few moments pass in silence before a voice is heard in the throne room.
"Is he gone?" Asked Link, as he look out from behind a drape at Zelda.
Zelda giggles in response and says, "Yes, he has left Link."
Link walks out from behind the drapes completely and sits down on the ground next to Zelda's throne. "He's been lecturing me a lot lately about being on a team. Why doesn't he see that I'm perfectly capable of doing things by myself?"
"Link, you know he means well," Says Zelda. "He only thinks of your safety and well being, and you shouldn't take his words too lightly."
"Yeah, I know." Link replies. And, as if remembering something, he reaches into his pocket and pulls something out in a box. "Here. I got this for you in town today!" He hands her the box.
Zelda accepts the gift and opens it. Inside is a corsage of violets. "Why thank you Link, they're lovely."
"Well, remember when we were little and we always used to play in the royal garden? Well, I noticed you almost never get to leave the castle, and I thought you might like some flowers." Link explained with a smile.
Zelda smiles as well. "Well, when you bring me gifts from town, its like I get to leave the castle for a moment. Thank you."
"No problem, princess." Link says.
At that moment, 6 magic maidens walk into the throne room. "Your Highness, the preparations are ready." Says the maiden in front, dressed in blue.
"Thank you, Blue Maiden. Link, there is something I have to tell you." Zelda says as she gets up from her throne.
Link looks at Zelda and asks, "Sure, what is it Zelda?"
"Have you heard of the legend of the Four Sword?" Asks Zelda.
What does that have to do with anything? I've never heard of the Four Sword before. Link wonders. To Zelda he says, "No, what is is?"
"Well, a long time ago, a wind sorcerer named Vaati brought darkness to all of Hyrule, and he also kidnapped many beautiful girls." Zelda explained.
Link replied, "Okay, creepy, power hungry peto out to destroy Hyrule. I'm with you so far."
Zelda continued. "Uh, yeah. Moving on. Vaati thought he could rule Hyrule. But then, a hero with not much more than a sword appeared. When he drew his sword, he was copied into four. Using teamwork, they defeated Vaati and sealed him in the sword. The sword was named the Four Sword and kept in the Four Sword Sanctuary ever since, undisturbed."
"Well, he was defeated. Whats the problem now?" Asked Link.
"I have had a vision. The seal keeping Vaati contained is weakening, and I fear he may escape. So, the Six Maidens and I are going to check the seal to make sure this does not happen." Zelda replied. "Link, you may want to stand back."
Link took a step back as Zelda and the Six Maidens walked up to a Tri-Force symbol that was painted in the tile.
Three of the Maidens each stood on a corner of the Tri-Force. The other three Maidens stood in between. Zelda stood in the middle of the Tri-Force. They all closed their eyes and concentrated. Link just watched intently.
The Tri-Force began to glow. But then, Blue Maiden began to rise in the air. The other Maidens began to float as well. Zelda remained on the ground, but opened her eyes and gasped.
And then the Six Maidens vanished.

"Are we there yet?" Spike asked for the hundredth time during the trip.
"No! No no no no, a thousand times NO!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
Spike waited a moment. Then he asked again.
Rainbow had enough. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
Spike asked again anyway. He was enjoying this a lot.
This time Rainbow mocked Spike.
"Hey, that's not funny." Spike said.
"Hey, that's not funny." Dash mocked.
"Oh, that's real mature!" retorted Spike.
Dash repeated what he said in an even more mocking voice.
Spike stopped talking for a few seconds.
"See, this is the reason nopony likes you!" Spike finally said.
Dash managed to say it almost at the same time as Spike.
"Alright, your loss." Spike said
"Alright, your loss." Dash repeated.
"I'M JUST GONNA STOP TALKING!" Spike screamed.
"FINALLY!" Rainbow exclaimed.
Twilight Sparkle rolled her eyes. Those too have been going at each others throats since we left. She thought.
The seven traveled in silence for a few minutes before Pinkie Pie spoke up.
"Wanna hear a song I made up just now?"
"Go right on ahead, sugarcube." Said Applejack. "Anythin' to break this silence."
Pinkie sang her mountain climbing song (Which I was too lazy to write), and asked "Who wants to sing next? Rainbow?"
"M-me? I-I don't know.." Dash replied.
"Please, Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked. "I think the animals want you to sing, too."
The animals riding on Fluttershy's back all nodded their heads.
"Well, alright. If you insist." Dash answered. And the began to sing her favorite sing, 'Your Gonna Go Far, Kid'
When she finished, everypony clapped and cheered. Dash stood on her hind flanks and took a few bows before walking again.
"Darling, that was wonderful! Simply divine!" Rarity exclaimed.
"Aww, thanks guys. Really." Replied Dash.
Then everypony was quietly walking.
Suddenly, Spike began to make annoying *Clack!* sounds with his mouth.
Spike, who was riding on Twilight's back, leaned over to Dash's face, and made the loudest *Clack!* noise with his mouth that he could.
Rainbow couldn't take it anymore. "ARHG! ARE WE THERE YET?" She screamed
"Yes!" Said Pinkie. She bolted up to the front doors and opened them.
"Finally!" Spike said. And everypony ran inside.
In the basement, Twilight saw the same liquid ball from her vision. She look inside, and everypony crowded around her.
"What do you see, darling?" Asked Rarity.
In the ball was a castle. Twilight made room for everypony to see the castle.
"Wow! Cool castle! But, I've never seen that castle before. Where is it?" Spike asked.
"Shh... its moving" Said Fluttershy.
The image was changing. Instead of the blue skies there were before, there was a dark cloud covering the castle. From the cloud fell dark, shadowy figures and creatures, that attacked the castles guards.
"What are those things?" Asked Dashie.
"I'm not sure, but they can't be good." Twi replied.
"No, no, not the shadowy things. THOSE things!" Rainbow pointed at guards being attacked.
Twilight realised that they were strange things. They stood on their hind legs at all times, they wore strange clothes, their manes were short, and they had no tails. They also wore shoes on their hind hooves, but heir front hooves weren't there. Instead, there were fingers. They carried spears, and none of them seamed to have wings or horns.
Then she realised that they were being ambushed.
And the creatures were helpless to stop it.
Afraid of His Own Shadow/ Pinkie Relives 'Cupcakes'(... Sorta.)
Before we begin, let me just say 'THANK YOU!' for all the feedback you have given me lately. Keep those likes and favorites coming, because It makes me want to improve more when you tell me my mistakes. And it makes me want to write more when you say you love it. So thank you. Chapter 3
Afraid of His Own Shadow/ Pinkie Relives 'Cupcakes'(... Sorta)
Link felt ready to pass out.
First, the Six Maidens vanished before his eyes.
And now Zelda was hyperventilating.
Zelda NEVER hyperventilates.
Ever.
So, he drew his sword, ready for a battle.
The Tri-Force symbol turned black. That was Zelda's cue to get off of the thing.
The second she stepped off of the Tri-Force, a hole appeared right where Zelda was standing only a few seconds ago. It had a strange black aura around it, and it something was coming out of it. Zelda turned white, because the shadowy figure looked familiar. Link was too distracted by the lack of Maidens and the princess and the blackness that was suddenly everywhere to really take a good look at the figure.
Zelda ran to Link for protection. Anger washed over Link, because nobody makes Zelda scared when he was around without paying for it after. "Who are you? What do you want?" Our hero asked.
The dark figure laughed before answering the question. "Why, I'm Link. The hero." He said with an evil smile.
Link was a bit confused at first. But then it started to seep in. He really did look like Link! But instead of green, his tunic was black. His blonde hair was purple on the imposter. And his eyes were blackish-purple. The shadow Link started to grow in size and kind of float over to the real Link. Staring directly at him, Shadow Link seemed to look into Link's soul. Then he spoke.
"Boo."
At that moment, he snatched up Zelda and ran to the hole he came out of. (That's what she said! XD Come on, I had to. It was a perfect joke.) Link ran after him and jumped in after Zelda, but he accidentally let go of his sword as he jumped, leaving it back in the throne room.
Then everything around him went dark. And Zelda was nowhere to be found.

Twilight Sparkle was still staring at the image in the liquid ball when she remembered the others were staring at her.
"We have to do something! We can't just stand here and look as they get hurt!" She finally said.
"Well, what do you suppose we do? There's not much we CAN do but look, Twi," Rainbow Dash piped in. "How can we help from another world, possibly another dimension?"
Suddenly, Rarity's eyes turned white, like Twilight's did before. It didn't last as long, though. And nopony noticed it at all.
"I know how we can help them. Here, everypony hold hooves." She said.
They all did as she said. Then Rarity, who was in the front, touched the liquid ball.
They found them self's in a stone room a second later, with a sword plunged in the ground in the very middle.
One of the creatures from the image was on the ground as well, passed out. But this one was different from the ones in the ball. This one wore green, was much shorter, had a blonde mane like Applejack's but shorter, and didn't have a weapon like the other ones. He wasn't moving an inch since they first noticed him.
Fluttershy galloped over to wake him up. She sang song, and it seemed to bring him back to consciousness. He woke up startled to be greeted by a yellow pegasi with a pink mane.
"Oh my, are you okay?" She asked him concerned.
He didn't say anything for a moment, just stared at Fluttershy. Then he seemed to make up his mind. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine, I guess." He muttered to her. Pinkie Pie rushed over to help the 'thing' up on his feet. "Whats your name?" She asked once he was standing on his own.
"Um... It's Link." He said, still dazed by the talking animals. "Um... do you have a name?"
"Of course, silly-billy, it's Pinkie Pie!" She replied. "These are my friends! Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Spike!" Everypony waved as Pinkie spoke their names.
"Um... that's... nice..." Link said. He seemed speechless.
"Well, can we ask you somethin', sugarcube?" Applejack asked Link.
"Uh, sure. Go ahead."
"Where in tarnation are we?!?"
"Well, we're in the basement of the castle, I think. It looks like it to me."
"Uh-huh, and where exactly IS this castle?"
"Hyrule!"
"Hy-what?" Asked Rainbow, interrupting.
"Hyrule. Never heard of it?"
"Well, I read something about this place once, I think." Twilight said. "But the books said it was all a myth!"
"Nope! Hyrule is just as real as where your from. Uh, where is that, anyway?"
"Why, we're from Ponyville, in Equestria!" Rarity answered Link's question.
"Well, I've never heard of that place before, but seeing as though I'm talking to a bunch of colored ponys, I'm just gonna take your word for it." Link said. "Maybe I can ask Zelda later about- Wait! Princess Zelda!"
He seemed alarmed. Pinkie Pie thought for a moment, then she got an idea.
"Hey, lemme help you look for her!" She grabbed a chainsaw and started it up.
(Wait... A chainsaw? In a medieval style town? D*mmit, Pinkie Pie! This is not 'Cupcakes'! No killing!
~Aww... but I wasn't gonna hurt anyone! I was gonna destroy the place and maybe find her in the rubble! That's all!
Well, fine Pinkie, the chainsaw- wait, did you just...
~What?
... Pinkie, can you at least PRETEND the fourth wall is there?
~Whats a 'Fourth Wall'?
-.- *Facehoof* Nothing, Pinkie. Just forget it. Let me finnish.
...I can't write anymore, you broke my brain. Thanks, Pinkie.
Okay, my brain is somewhat fixed. So, where were we? Oh yeah. Pinkie's chainsaw.
Chapter 4
Vaati's Release: Part 1
Pinkie Pie was about to destroy the sanctuary with her chainsaw when Spike said, "Pinkie, you do realize there weren't any chainsaws in medieval times, right?"
"So?" Asked Pinkie.
"So, no chainsaws. It would freak a lot of people out."
"Like me, for example." Link added in. His face was white and he was reaching for a sword he didn't have.
"Fine. No chainsaw." Pinkie said. Her power tool disappeared and she pouted. "Hmf. Your no fun."
"Well, now that we have that settled," Twilight said. "Who is this Princess Zelda? You never explained that part to us."
Link told them about Zelda and the Six Maidens, The Four Sword Sanctuary(Which they found out they were in), and how Zelda was kidnapped.
"Okay, now you guys tell me how you got here." Link said after he finished.
So everypony told Link about the Elements of Harmony, the visions, and the liquid ball that showed Hyrule castle under attack.
"Well then, we have to get back to the castle and stop whatever is attacking!" Link exclaimed.
"Hey! Maybe that sword might have something to do with leaving!" Rainbow added. She pointed to the sword in the center of the room.
"The sword? Uh, I-I don't t-think that's a good id-dea." Link stammered.
"Well, sugarcube, ah don't think we got much of a choice." Applejack said
"... When you put it that way..."
Link walked up to the sword, and put his hands on the handle. He took a few deep breaths and closed his eyes.
Then he pulled the sword. For a moment, the room filled with a very bright light. So bright, in fact, that everypony had to shield their eyes.
When the light died down, their eyes still hurt from the sudden brightness. "Well, that was interesting." Twilight said, still recovering.
"My eyes must still be messed up," Rarity said. "Because I'm seeing four of you, Link!"
"Uh, Rarity?" Fluttershy said, slightly scared.
"Yes, darling?"
"I don't think its your eyes."
"What makes you say that?"
"Because I see them, too!"
And, sure enough, there really were four Links! But they all wore different colored tunics. One wore red, one wore blue, and one wore violet. And each of them had a copy of the Four Sword the real Link just drew.
"Mother of Celestia..." Rainbow said under her breath.
"Well, this is... weird." The blue Link said.
"This is so cool!" The red Link smiled as he said this.
"Well, we're wasting our time," Said the violet Link. "What we need to focus on it getting out of here and saving Zelda."
"He's right, you know." Twilight said.
"Well, lets make that goal number one then!" The real Link said.
Every person and pony agreed. But then, the ground started shaking.

Chapter 5
Vaati's Release: Part 2
The ground was shaking violently. Everyone struggled to stay standing as something rose from the ground where the sword once was. At first, It was just wind. But eventually, the room shook so hard the walls and ceiling started to crumble, and the wind sucked up the rubble and formed a giant monster. With all this movement, it was amazing that anyone could not get hit. The rock creature had finally took shape and spoke.
"Sunlight! Fresh air! To be free at last! The outside world is so beautiful, it will almost be a shame when I DESTROY IT!!!" The obviously evil being laughed after announcing this.
"THINK AGAIN, HARD HEAD!!!" The blue Link shouted back at the monster. He rushed the creature and cut off his left arm easily.
"Ha, not so tough now, are ya?" He said.
He didn't stay smiling for long. The missing arm only grew back, and it began to shoot rocks at everyone.
"His regeneration is too fast! We need to rush him all at once and get different parts of him in order to defeat him." Twilight said, preparing to attack.
"On my mark!" The green Link said to everyone. "One, t-"
"TWOTHREE!" Shouted the blue Link, and he rushed the creature again.
Everyone but Fluttershy followed, but there were some issues about who attacks where.
"Hey, watch it, AJ! I'm getting the head!" Rainbow shouted as she crashed into her.
"Now, ah don't think that's fair to tha rest of us, you gettin' the main part of his body!" AJ returned.
Twilight and Rarity both aimed for the right leg, and they both hit each other with their magic.
"OW!!! HOW DARE YOU!" Rarity shouted at Twilight.
"Sorry, Rarity! I didn't mean to hit you!" Twilight said back.
"Watch it, ASS HAT! You almost slashed me!" Green Link said to blue Link.
"You watch it, ASPARAGUS HEAD! I'M taking this part! Go find your own!" Blue Link retorted.
"Does ANYPONY know how to work together?" Twilight asked.
"I don't need help! I can take this guy down!" Rainbow responded. "But maybe if SOMEPONY didn't always get in the way..."
"Now, don't go blamin' me for this! Ah was closer to the head then you wer'!" Applejack said to Rainbow.
"See, we've never been really involved with the whole 'Teamwork' thing." The red Link said.
"We can't rely on others for help. If we wait, it might be too late." The violet one said.
"I don't NEED to be on a team. I can handle my problems on my own!" The blue one said.
Those last few lines sounded very familiar to Link. Wait, last night in Castle Town! Oh, Dad. Why didn't I listen... He thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Fluttershy was hiding behind a rock, and Pinkie Pie was bouncing around like nothing was happening. The creature took this chance to surprise and eliminate them while they were distracted. He opened his mouth and began sucking in an endless breath, pulling at everyone.
The wind was getting stronger, forcing everyone to grab hold of something.
"I can't hold on too much longer, darlings. I just can't." Rarity said.
"No! We can't give up! We need to save Zelda!" Link shouted.
The four Link's eyes got bigger, and it seemed they all had the same thought. At the same time, they let go and angled them self's at the creature. They managed to get him in different spots of his body without being eaten.
The ponies used this as an chance to attack as well. Rarity and Twilight combined their magic to strike the chest, AJ repeatedly bucked his legs, Dash flew around his head to blind and confuse him, and Pinkie bounced on his head like a jackhammer.
Eventually, the rocked crumbled and the wind turned into a ghostly being. Without a doubt it was Vaati. (Since I'm too lazy to describe him, here's a picture:)
He looked at them, angrily at first, then an evil grin shown on his face. He fled to the broken wall and escaped.
Everyone watched him leave. Then they remembered the image the ponies saw and without a word they followed after him.
But in the shadows, a white grin appeared and Shadow Link took form.
"You can run to the castle as fast as you want, you will never make it in time to stop the vision." He said. He laughed evilly and vanished just as fast as he appeared.
Sorry 'bout the wait, but something very weird happened. It was out of this world. Supernatural, even.
Chapter 6
Hyrule Castle Falls
The solders stood around the castle that day, keeping an eye out for any trouble. One solder in particular, a good friend and a mentor to Link, noticed a strange dark cloud moving towards them rapidly.
"What is that? There's a huge black cloud coming towards us!" He told his fellow knights.
Above the castle, ridding on a huge black Charrazard (Why not?), was Shadow Link. His grin widened when he saw that he had reached his destination.
"Creatures of darkness," He began a speech that I was polite enough to type for you. "We've lived in the shadows for far to long! Now it's time for US to steal the show! GO! TAKE DOWN HYRULE CASTLE!!!" At his word, dark monsters diver bombed the castle and attacked.
Link's father (I swear to god of all the background characters, his official name is the hardest to find. So don't ask) was one of the first to start counter-attacking the dark shadow beings.
"Stand your ground!" He ordered to his men. "Don't let the monsters get into the castle!"
He fought through the group of monsters to Zelda's throne room to search for her. He called her name twice and opened the door.
However, when he opened the door, he saw that the throne room was trashed. The throne was toppled over and cut with slash marks, the curtains were torn, and the ground was littered with splinters. And there was blood. He didn't notice where the blood came from until he saw...
"Link... LINK!"
Link's father rushed over to help his son. There was blood all over his tunic near his heart and he was unconscious, his sword in pieces.
His father new he was dead. His body was cold, and getting colder every second. But he couldn't quite grasp the fact that his only son was gone.
"What happened to you?" He asked. "Don't tell me, you tried fighting them off yourself, didn't you? You idiot!"
It finally started to seep in: Link was dead. He was too late. His father began to do something he hadn't done on years. He wept.
"Please... Spare my son's life..." He whispered. "I beg of you. Take mine instead. Take anything you want! ... Please..."
He held his son for a few seconds more. Then he felt Link moving. He's alive! He thought to himself. But then Link started laughing.
"Hehehehe, well aren't you a good father..."
"Huh?" He pulled away from his son and noticed he looked different. He was... almost emo. He was so shocked, he was unable to speak.
"Your pathetic words almost made me cry..." Shadow Link said. He then began to laugh again as he grabbed Link's father by his shirt. There was a black aura, blah blah blah, His fathers eyes widened, blah blah blah, Shadow Link laughed like someone from a mental ward, blah blah blah... lets just skip to the good part.
There was a *Clang!*, and all that was left of Link's father was his armor.
"Allow me to introduce you to the world of darkness..."

"C-come on..." Link panted. "Just a- just a little bit further..."
"How much farther until we reach the castle, darling?" Rarity asked.
"If we keep following this path, then we should be out in the city in no time." He relpied
"Hey, how 'bout we rest for a little bit, huh? the red Link asked.
"We don't have any time, we need to tell Dad what's happened with Zelda and Vaati." Link replied.
"Yeah, Ok, but before that, let's chose!" Pinkie Pie said with one of the biggest Pinkie Pie smiles anyone had ever seen.
"Uh, chose what?" Rainbow Dash asked, landing near Pinkie and the red Link from the air.
"Well, Pinkie and I were thinking," the red Link explained. "It'll be WAY to confusing if we just call each other Link, so lets chose nicknames! Since I'm wearing red, I'm gonna call myself Red!"
"You would be Blue!" Pinkie Pie said, pointing her hoof at Blue.
"Say what?" Blue said
"Um, the Link wearing violet can be... Oh! Vio!" Pinkie said
"And you would be Green!" Red said to the green Link.
"So, whadaya think?" Pinkie and Red smiled as she said this.
"Took you this long to come up with THAT?" Vio said.
"It, feels kinda weird, but, I guess we have no other choice." Green said.
"Hey, don't go changing people's name left and right! I don't wanna be called ANYTHING but Link!" Blue said to Pinkie and Red.
"Isn't it a great idea? I must be a genius or something!" Red said, ignoring Blue.
"More like, an idiot!" Blue said. "Just so you know, I'm not interested in working with ANY of you!"
"Well, that's a relief." Vio said. "Working with a brainless IDIOT would only slow us down."
Blue started growling. Then he turned around, grabbed Vio by the shirt, and slammed him against the nearest tree, catching everyone off guard. "SAY THAT TO MY FACE!!!"
Vio was unfazed by the surprise attack and only huffed in response.
"Stop fighting, yall'!" Applejack said.
"Look," Green said. "All four of us are the same person. We're not gonna get anywhere fighting like this."
"IT MAKES ME SICK KNOWING THAT THIS WIMP IS A PART OF ME!!!" Blue said as he let go of Vio and pointed at Red.
"HEY! That was uncalled for!" Rainbow said.
"Huh?" Red looked hurt by Blue's sudden outburst. "I'm not that wimpy, am I?" Red looked like he was gonna start crying.
Blue still wasn't finished ranting, though. "I"M THE REAL LINK, GOT IT? NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!"
"Oh, the real Link, huh?" Green asked. "Well, in that case, since I'm wearing GREEN, I guess that makes ME the real Link!"
Classic.
Now Blue was pissed. "QUITTRYINGTOACTCOOLJUSTCAUSEYOURWEARINGGREEN!!!" He yelled as he drew his sword. "DRAW YOUR SWORD! WHOEVER WINS GETS TO BE CALLED LINK!" He didn't even to give Green a chance to draw his sword before he swung at him. Green blocket the shot using the still sheithed sword.
"Hey!" He said. "Don't draw BEFORE you say that!"
"I wonder why we all have such different personalitys, when we're technically the same person." Red said.
Blue and Green ended their fight and were now ignoring each other.
"Our personalitys may have been spit into four," Vio said. "But we all still have the strength of the original Link. Green is aggressive."
"Hmph."
"Blue is short-tempered and over confident."
"WHAT?!"
"And you, Red, would be optimistic."
"Ooooooooh, NOW I get it!"
"I guess that makes you smart, huh Vio?" Spike asked
"I prefer to think of myself as calm and level-headed."
Not two seconds after this, they heard someone walking through the valley. There was a lady and a teenager and they seemed to be frighted and in a hurry.
"Huh? Who's that?" Rainbow asked.
"She's, the castle's cook, isn't she?" Vio said.
"It's Ms. Marsh!" Red said.
"HEEEEY, MS. MAAAARSH!!!" Green called to her.
Ms. Marsh heard Green and turned towards him. She gasped and looked even more frightened than before. He just assumed he saw his new pony friends and his clones. They all ran towards her, but Vio was hesitant.
"Wait! Don't all go at the same time you-" Vio didn't finish his sentence and ran after everyone.
"Ms. Marsh, is it?" Twilight said as she approached the cook. "Great timing. I'm Twilight Sparkle. Could you please lead us to-"
Ms. Marsh pulled out a frying pan that she had packed with her stuff, pointing it at the four Link's. She didn't even notice Twilight or the other ponies. The teenager with her hid behind her skirt
"Don't come any closer, you monsters!" She said. "I didn't think you'd come after us this far."
"Huh?" Red looked hurt again. "Ms. Marsh, how can you be so mean to us?"
"Ms. Marsh, it's just me, Link." Green said. "I pulled the four sword from that stone and got split into four. All of us are the same person. And these are our friends." Gestured to the ponies and Spike.
"I'd always thought you were such a good little boy." She said. "But after seeing you do such awful things... Your nothing but a devil!"
"Just what the heck is SHE talking about?" Rainbow asked.
"Wait..." Spike said. "Maybe she's talking about that other guy..."
