"Twilight, you ok?" Rainbow leaned over the side of the bed to ask the pile of lavender on the ground.

"I don't know let me just..." Twilight retorted as she stood and jumped back in bed bucking Rainbow clear off the other side.

Rainbow was surprised by this immediate reaction, but she was more surprised by how quick Twilight was to take up all the blankets. Dash stood and stared at the bundle of blankets and saw an innocent unicorn covered in the sheets with a gentle smile and closed eyes. She couldn't but help from smiling as well.

"So are you coming to bed, or are you just going to stare at me with that awed expression?" Twilight chimed in without opening her eyes.

"I wasn't starring at you!" Rainbow inquired, "Oh wait I was, and I will go to bed just as soon as you stop hogging all the blankets." She added as she reached and grabbed a corner of the blanket and gave a mighty tug spinning Twilight right up into the air.

Rainbow covered up and closed her eyes; she wore the same expression that her friend had only seconds before expressed.

"Alright then we can share." Twilight gave in to the cyan Pegasus demand, as she regained balance.

"Too late." Rainbow said quickly.

"Too late?" Questioned Twilight.

"Mhhm." A now sleepy Dash assured her.

"Well then." Twilight noted, getting as close as she could to Dash, then wrapping her arms around the bundle of blankets, "I guess I could stay warm like this."

Rainbow felt the arms wrap around her, she felt the sudden embrace, but she couldn't feel the warmth of Twilights body. She cursed herself for hogging the blanket, and yet she felt jealous of it as well. She rolled over to face Twilight and unrolled the blanket, "Half for me and half for you." Rainbow offered.

"But I get all of you." Twilight added as she reached around Dash and pulled her close, smothering the Pegasus.

Dash finally felt the warmth that the unicorn gave off, she could feel the warm succulent breath, and just when it couldn't get any better, the lavender pony made a sly move that it caught Dash off guard. Twilight kissed Dash, but this was not an average kiss, or a friend kiss, this was a passionate kiss, one that seem to have over come the lavender unicorn and made her listen to her heart instead of her mind for once.

After a few seconds Rainbow pulled back, she wish she could last longer, and keep that sweet memory ever lasting, but the lack of air made her gasp.

"What’s wrong Dash, I thought you wanted to teach me a thing or two in the bedroom?" Twilight questioned Dash.

"Twilight, do you really think it's a good idea to you know..." Rainbow asked.

Twilight looked puzzled, what was this cyan pegasus getting at?

"Uhm, you know who..." Rainbow gave a little more information.

Twilight looked from corner to corner of the room, books and charts lined the wall and scattered the floor, but there were only two hearts beating, "What do you mean?"

"Well doesn't it feel weird, you know with us being in the royal princesses presence?" Dash added.

Twilight looked up at the ceiling, as though the answer too her question was there and thought a minute. Taking in what her friend had mentioned, she stood on her bed, closed her eyes and used her mystical powers to create a purple force field around the room, which then quickly faded leaving no trace of its presence.

"What’s that?" Dash question.

"Oh just a little spell I’ve learned, which keeps any noise inside the field from leaving. How do you think I do all my experiments in Ponyville without alarming anyone silly?" Twilight answered Dash with a grin.

Twilight fidgeted to creep back under the sheets and snuggle right up next to Dash. "Now where were we?" Twilight asked, although knowing which step they were at that point.

"Oh I don't know, maybe here!" Rainbow said as she quickly smothered Twilight.
----------------------------------------

"Wakey wakey sleepy head." Said Twilight as she rubbed her hoof through Dash’s mane.

Dash cracked open her eyes to recognize a fully awake Twilight, full of energy and ready for the day, unlike herself who rather spend the time in bed if possible. "How are you awake? It's barely even bright out." Dash noted looking through the enormous window which took up a good portion of the wall.

Twilight stood on all four hooves and walked over to the behemoth window and looked out. "If you don't wake up now then you will miss out on most of the day, plus, if you look outside to the garden you can see the Wonderbolts practicing for the show before dinner tonight." Twilight hinted on the Wonderbolts part to entice Rainbow to get up.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Lemme see, lemme see!" Rainbow pleaded as she flew from bed straight for the window, causing charts and books to float around the room.

As Rainbow made her way to the glass, Twilight quickly stepped aside making sure that the high speed projectile wouldn't hit her.

SMACK!!!! Right into the window, Dash’s face didn't lose the happy joyful stats though. She looked from corner to corner of the garden till she finally found the prize. Spitfire and her team were stretching and warming up for practice drills like they do every morning, Dash couldn't believe it. Front row seats!

"You want some popcorn with your front row seat or haycakes?" Twilight amused, although she expected no response.

Rainbow couldn't keep her eyes off the team, she heard the question, but she couldn't bring herself to answer, as though speaking would cause an unbalance force which could stop the Wonderbolts procedures. "Uhuh.... Haycakes please." Dash finally answered as she saw a break in the practice.

"Alright, give me a couple minutes." Twilight answered as she walked off smiling, heading to the door. "Good sir, can you bring my friend and I a stack of the delicious haycakes from the eating hall?" she questioned the guard, who promptly bowed and did as he was beckoned.

Twilight turned back to the room and noticed something; where'd Dash go? She had been sticking her face against the window, trying to absorb the 'coolness' which was the Wonderbolts, but was now nowhere to be seen. "Rainbow? Where'd you go?"

"Right here!" she replied as she tackled Twilight causing the two to roll around on the floor. As the two stopped rolling, Rainbow stood erect on all fours as she pinned Twilight on the ground, "Gotcha!" As though she had won a prize.

"Hey Dash, I need to tell you something." Twilight beckoned her counterpart to move closer in, to whisper a secret.

"What?" Dash asked.

"Are you sure you got me?" Twilight asked?

"Uhm let me check." Dash looked at all her hoofs, "Yup." she stated.

Twilight smiled wickedly, as though her plan was in action. FLOOP! A puff of purple smoked enveloped the two mares, but when it cleared the two were in switched positions with Twilight now pinning Rainbow Dash.

"Ok, ok, you win... For now." Dash succeeded.

Knock knock.

Twilight jumped off Dash and used her magic to spin her up right, "Come in."

"Your haycakes are her ma'am." the guard answered as he poked his head in.

A sequel to A Day To Remember.

"You’re probably one of the messiest eaters I've ever seen" Twilight said as she neatly wiped her face.

"Well I might be a bit messy, but I bet I enjoyed my haycakes al lot more than you did!" Rainbow said as she gave a huge toothy grin with a few dribbles of syrup dripped off of her face.

Twilight quickly turned to the corner of her room to observe a ticking clock, and the back to Dash "Look at that, we have time to spare. What do you want to do while we are here in Canterlot?" Twilight asked

"I’ll tell you what I want to do..." Rainbow said with a grin bigger than her last.

------------------------------

"When you asked me what I wanted to do, well, this is not what I was thinking" grumbled Dash, who was now carrying boxes and bags, each containing trinkets and doodads with various purposes.

Twilight was too busy to acknowledge Dash’s complaint. She was pondering where to go next. Ponyville didn't have all the shops that Canterlot does, and she was in need of certain unobtainable 'items' she used in her spells.

The two walked to a beautiful crimson red shop with a vial of purple liquid adorning the roof.

"Hey egghead, wanna give me a hand, or should I just leave these here?" Dash said sarcastically as she stood in the entrance, but as she finished her sentence a blur in the corner of her eye caught her attention.

Rainbow looked in that direction and beheld her heroes, the Wonderbolts. She quickly glanced in Twilight’s general direction noticing her multifarious brain going a million miles an hour while assuming the clerk had heard and understood her demands. She set the boxes and bags down quietly and backed out the door very slyly, so as not to disturb the two occupants and interrupt the frantic list the lavender pony was rattling off.

The sky was clear, not a cloud in sight, yet it lacked something. The extreme Wonderbolts aerobatics and stunts, no... ME! Rainbow Dash thought, as she raced upwards, defying the gravitational pull that strained to bring her down, but she paused for a moment to steal a quick glance from where she started to see if Twilight was there, still talking to the clerk. Yup.

"Alright, just a few quick tricks and back I go" Rainbow assured herself.

With that she climbed higher. When she reached the appropriate height she rolled over and started her descent. She felt the adrenaline kick in, the fight or flight instinct caused her body to jitter with excitement. 10. 9. 8. She started to fall faster and faster yet she didn't care. 7. 6. 5. 4. The ground was closing in; she was a mere 75ft from impact. 3. 2. 1. She quickly rolled over and spread her wings catching a gust of wind propelling her upwards. She looked how close she was, a hoof print away from smacking the cool dew covered grass of the garden square.

"Whoo, that's the closest I've ever been. Hmm, I wonder if I could get closer." Rainbow muttered to herself, as she landed with ease.

"Hey kid, good trick, takes lots of guts to perform something like that." A voice reached Rainbow’s ears, it seemed familiar, but she couldn’t place it.

"Guts. Nah, just talent and skills." Rainbow addressed the figure behind her, without turning to look at her admirer.

"How'd you like to teach us some of your tricks, ours are getting a little old?" the voice once again slipped into the ears of Rainbow.

"Uh, what?" Rainbow asked as she finally looked at the person behind her. "No way." Rainbow said as her jaw dropped to the ground.

"You ok?" the owner of the voice asked with concern.

"S...S....Sp... Spitfire." Rainbow managed at last.

"Yup, and let me guess, Rainbow Dash was it?" Spitfire questioned.

"How does someone like you know me?" the astonished pony asked.

"Well, we like to keep tabs on up and coming recruits, plus you saved Soarin's pie from smashing into the ground at the gala two years back, and you tried to set the equestrian record for the fastest hurricane. So we keep a close eye on you especially." Spitfire answered Dash’s question with a smile and a hint of admiration.

Oh my gosh, this has to be a dream. Is this a dream? No it can't be. Wait! If this is real I must look so stupid standing here thinking it over. "Uhm I would love to show you some of the new tricks I've been working on recently." Rainbow said.

"Good, how about this afternoon, if you’re not busy? It would be great to get a new trick before the big dinner tonight." Spitfire told Rainbow.

"Well you see," don't blow it, this might be your one chance. What about Twilight? "Spitfire, I-" Rainbow was cut off by an innocent voice only a few steps to the right of her.

"She would love to, just as soon as she helps me get my stuff back to our room." Twilight chimed in.

She caught Dash off guard by her sudden appearance, "Are you sure?" Rainbow asked.

"Yup." Twilight retorted with a smile.

"Great! Can't wait to see what you got" said Spitfire.

"Now Dash, can you help me with my stuff?" Twilight asked, "Or should I leave it all right here?" she added sarcastically.

----------------------------------------

"Great job Dash!" an enthusiastic Twilight yelled from the bleachers.

Dash had just completed her new favourite trick, a Rainbow loop-de-loop with a barrel roll, a fly by at the stands, then a straight acceleration upwards, ending in a nose dive, and to top it off a rainbownado, known to Twilight as her patent-pending dryer. This caused every say of sunlight to refract into bright colors and gleam on everything with in a 200 foot radius.

"Thanks champ!" Dash called from the castle garden, which was the base camp for the Wonderbolts while at they were at the castle.

"Alright, your turn Soarin!" Spitfire yelled to the next in line.

"Uhm... Can I see it one more time, I lost track at the barrel roll" Soarin asked.

Rainbow landed next to Twilight in the stands, "Now, how about you try?" questioned Rainbow.

"Hey, I can barely fly as it is, plus I’m missing one more ingredient to do the spell" answered Twilight. "But there is something I wanted to show you under the bleachers if you’re not busy" Twilight asked, an odd smile appearing on her face.

"Uh, I think I'm done."

"Good. Let’s go." Twilight said.

The cyan Pegasus followed Twilight to the side of the bleachers, and then underneath them. There wasn't much under them, just a few cross beams and a few pipes, but that was it, "Hey silly filly, there's nothing down here" Rainbow said, confusion evident on her face.

"I know" Twilight said as she quickly turned and locked lips with Dash.

Dash quickly lost her footing causing her to tumble on to Twilight, somehow managing to not release the kiss. After landing, Rainbow’s hoof took to Twilight’s mane; she ran her hoof though it, the soft hair falling away as she moved it from top to bottom. Her hoof didn't stop there, it continued down the side of Twilight, caressing her body, back and forth.

"Now now, isn't someone getting ahead of them selves?" Dash asked slyly.

"No, but I think you are falling behind" murmured Twilight.

"Remember how I said you win for now?" Dash asked. "Well, now it's my turn" and with that Dash kissed Twilights forehead, and gradually worked her way upwards, to her horn. Dash kissed it, causing Twilight to stutter with pleasure, but Rainbow didn't stop there. She continued to pleasure Twilight by moving a hoof to her inner thigh. Closer and closer her hoof made its way up the slender body of Twilight. Closer, closer-

"Rainbow Dash where are you?" Dash leapt upright to listen again. "Rainbow, Soarin still doesn't understand the Rainbow Strata. He needs be shown it again" Spitfire’s voice called out.

"Go ahead; I can wait a little bit longer" Twilight directed Dash.

"I’m so sorry Twilight, how about tonight right before dinner?" Rainbow suggested to Twilight.

"No distractions this time?" Twilight asked wryly.

"No distractions" Rainbow assured her.

A sequel to A Day To Remember.

*Warning contains sexual themes. Also I'm not good at writing clopfic so sorry if it's cut short.

"Where is it...? Where is it?" Twilight said as she searched the once neatly stacked bags and boxes which lay around her room. The living space soon became cluttered with ingredients, spell pages, and potions that she acquired earlier that day. "There it is!" She finally said and proceeded to pull a small cylindrical container from one of the bags.

The container had a bland look to it, a small label on the top, directions on the bottom, and one giant red letter wrapped around the entire side. D.

Twilights eyes light up with enjoyment at the sight of the object now resting in her fore hoofs. She slowly twisted the top of it off with her magic. She soon stood just a few more turns away from the prize inside, yet held back so as to not spill the contents.

"Hey egghead, whatcha got there?!" Rainbow asked, spooking Twilight, causing her to lose her grip with her magic, and dropping the canister down on the ground. A mist of purple powder erupted from the canister coating the bed, book shelves, and floor with the substance.

Twilight jumped at the sudden intrusion, "Dash?!" She frantically looked behind her.

What bestowed the lavender pony was a sight to behold; Dash looked right into Twilights eyes, yet said nothing. Twilight didn't know what to do; this had never happened before. She finally drew enough courage to say sarcastically, "It’s like I'm looking into a mirror".

"Nah, I’m twenty percent cooler than any normal mirror" Dash replied, yet not taking her eyes off Twilight.

"Uhm, you want me to, you know, poof this mess away?" Twilight asked, although she already knew the answer.
----------------------------------------

After Twilight and Rainbow had cleaned the room of all the purple residue and feather brushed the book shelf, the two say lay on the bed to admire their work. "Alright, when you’re alone I'll never spook you again" Rainbow said as she rolled to her side to admire her companion lying beside her.

"You think?" Twilight replied.

"Now where were we... oh yeah" Dash rolled over closer to Twilight and picked up where she was abruptly interrupted. She moved her hoof down the side of the soft and smooth lavender skin. Each stroke feeling greater than the last.

Twilight wrapped both hoofs around Dash's neck pulling her in closer. Dash's hoof found its way between Twilight’s hind legs. Dash was surprised; Twilight was already dripping from the minor arousal that Dash brought to her. She began rubbing up and down Twilight’s marehood causing her to jitter and moan with pure ecstasy.

Rainbow pulled back from Twilights embrace and moved down in between her thighs, "Hey my little pony, how does this feel?" Rainbow asked, before getting to work with her tongue.

Twilight started quivering with excitement, but also felt as though she wasn't pleasuring Rainbow in anyway. She wanted to pleasure her friend just as much, and quickly levitated Rainbow Dash upwards, spinning her 180 degrees, and then placing her back down. Twilight could now repay the favor that Dash was owed. She proceeded to imitate Dash's smooth rhythmic strokes of her tongue, making Dash moan as she momentarily lost control.

"Hey Dash, the teacher has become the student and the student has become the teacher." Twilight giggled with a big grin on her face.

"In your dreams!" Rainbow retorted.

"You want to bet?" Twilight asked coyly.

"What’s the stakes?"

"How about winner chooses what we do next" Twilight said.

"Deal!" Rainbow answered, as she quickly got back to work, confident that she could win this.

Twilight had an ace up her sleeve, though. "First one to make the other cum wins!" she smirked. She moved her head back from Dash's groin, bent her head a little more, the rubbed her horn against Rainbow’s inner lips. This quickly caught Dash’s attention.

"Hey that's not fair" Rainbow said as she began to panic.

"But Dash doesn't it feel so good?" Twilight asked seductively. She slid her horn in a little bit more, causing Dash to buck her hips and moan with pleasure.

"Fine I'll give you that, but I'll still win" She protested. Then Twilight’s horn began to glow.

---------------------------------------

"I can't believe I lost. I usually never lose" Rainbow said in a self pitying tone as she sat alone on the bed.

"Hey Dash, don't worry, I have something good planed for tonight. Just don't worry about it" Twilight assured Dash from the bathroom. "But right now you need to get ready for the dinner" she reminded Dash.

"Alright, but know this, I'll redeem myself, then you'll have to do as I say." Dash said enthusiastically.

----------------------------------------

As Twilight and Dash made their way to the dinning hall, they were confronted by the Captain of the Royal Guard and his new wife, Princess Cadence.

"So Twily, how have you been?" Twilight’s elder brother asked, curious about the adventures that she always seemed to attract.

"There hasn't been much of a disturbance in Ponyville ever since the Royal Wedding" Twilight answered with a slight hint of boredom.

"How about you?" Cadence directed her attention to Rainbow Dash.

"Oh, I haven't done as much as I planned too. Although the Wonderbolts asked for help with some new tricks, which practically made me explode, I mean come on the Wonderbolts asked me! How cool is that?!" Rainbow said with a great amount of happiness.

"That sounds terrific Rainbow, I'm happy for you" Cadence replied politely, unable to quite grasp the concept of how much Dash liked the Wonderbolts.

The four continued to walk towards the dinning halls sealed and guarded doors, yet none spoke until they were face to face with three guards stationed at ease. "Captain sir, we were instructed to inform you under Princess Celestia’s orders your assistance is requested in the North wing" one guard who's mane was cut short and face showed marks of war, relayed the information. He wasn't like the Royal Guards, Twilight thought. He didn't even wear the sleek gold armor and gear, instead he wore a tan and brown uniform. He also didn't wear a helmet; instead he wore a red beret. But above all he wasn't a Pegasus or a unicorn, he was an earth pony.

After a few minutes of listening and thinking Shining Armor looked from Twilight’s face to Rainbow’s to his own newly wed wife, and then back to the Guard. "Twily, I'll catch up with you and Rainbow inside; I have to attend to some Royal Guard duties. Cadence would like to accompany me?" Shinning Armor asked.

"It would be my pleasure" Cadence said, and with that the two said their goodbyes and departed, along with the earth pony guard.

Dash and Twilight followed with their eyes as the three ponies walk down the hallway and rounded a corner, vanishing from site. Dash looked at Twilight and noticed a quizzical look on her face, "Hey, you alright?" she asked.

"Did you notice that guard, he seemed different." Twilight recalled the guard.

"No nothing much." Dash answered.

"He was an earth pony, not a unicorn or Pegasus, and his uniform wasn't like the regular Royal Guard." Twilight added.

"Your brother knows him, so he must be someone special, but you have to put it out of your mind. We have a royal dinner to attend, plus we get to see the Wonderbolts use one of my patented tricks!" Rainbow started losing her composure.

"You’re right; I mean what's the worst that could happen?" Twilight assured herself.

The two turned back to the Dining Hall doors and approached the guards. The two guards who were still stationed there; the guards requested no papers but opened the door for the two guests. "Now entering, Mrs. Twilight Sparkle and her friend Rainbow Crash," the guard said aloud. Rainbow leaned in close and whispered into his ear. "Rainbow Dash" the guard corrected himself.

Twilight walked in gracefully, but couldn't shake the embarrassment of someone announcing her name for her. Rainbow was the complete opposite, not as graceful but loved her name being called out loud.

The guards closed the doors shut behind the two, "Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, thank you for attending. Please have a seat" Princess Luna commanded.

In The Home Of Our Princess Part4
A sequel to A Day To Remember
By Carmack21
A/N Sorry for it taking a long time to write this, but I was so intrigued by an author who I found hilarious, a genius, and a great writer… AEGIS SHEILD, writer of Lunar Stallions and a few more great reads. I Loved his stories, take a glance, they’re great.
Princess Luna sat at one end of the grand dining table, her midnight mane flowing in a breeze that wasn’t there. A sly looking smile met the two mares as they entered.
“Princess Luna?” Twilight said, somewhat startled by the lone figure sitting at the dining table.
Sweat started to appear on Rainbows brow; it was only a few days ago when the two mares met and discussed a secret that was kept amongst the three mares in the room. “Princess Luna… Uhm” Rainbow steadied herself and bowed with Twilight.
Princess Luna acknowledged the royal gesture with a smile “Thou have no need of to bow before us.”
“Princess Luna, It’s so great to see you!” Twilight chimed in cheerfully as she started towards the table.
“There is no need to greet us with our title either, Twilight Sparkle” The Princess replied calmly.
Rainbow started for the table as well, every step being heavier than the last. She became lost in thought as she walked. Why was Princess Luna here alone, no guards, no waiters, and where were the other guests? Rainbow became so lost in thought she hadn’t realized she was so close to the table when all of a sudden - SMACK, right into the side of the table.
“Rainbow Dash is something wrong with thee?” Luna asked, visibly concern.
Rainbow snapped back to attention, “Uhm, no. I just lost my train of thought.” She answered truthfully. What had she to hide? Rainbow kicked herself for not staying focussed, but why couldn’t she enjoy on the pleasure of eating with a Princess?
“Rainbow Dash, why don't thou sit by us for breakfast?” Princess Luna encouraged while she magically levitated a chair out from the table for Dash to sit in.
“Uhm, I was hoping to sit near Twilight.” Dash encouraged, also hoping the Princess wouldn’t be offended. Oh for Celestia sake, please don’t let her be offended, Dash thought.
Twilight opened her mouth to protest and say its ok, but before she could the double doors opened.
“Nonsense My Little Pony, my sister would enjoy your company, while I listen to my protégée’s notes and information she has collected.” A voice spooked Rainbow from behind, but she knew who it was immediately.
“Princess Celestia!” Rainbow Dash and Twilight noted, turning and bowing before her.
“Rainbow Dash, its great too see you.” Princess Celestia told Dash. She bowed down and touched Dash’s head with her horn, a spark of magic zapped Dash’s head, granting her good luck for the next few days. Afterwards Celestia moved to her seat opposite of her sister, then the rest of the guests entered each greeting the princess with a bow and corrigibly taking their desired seats, leaving only one seat left, right next to Princess Luna.
Dash walked quietly over to the seat, looking at the chair to avoid meeting the Princesses gaze. She bowed once more to the Princess before she sat, taking in her surroundings. The Princess of the night on her left, the Wonderbolts were scattered around the table, but Spitfire was to her immediate right, Shining Armor sitting next to his sister, Princess Cadence sitting next to her husband, and a white unicorn stallion by the name Prince Blueblood sat adjacent to Princess Cadence.
While everyone else was well off into conversations about this and that and how things have been going, Dash found herself staring at the ground. “Is something wrong with thou?” asked a soft yet reassuring voice.
“No, no, nothing is wrong Princess Luna,” Dash answered. “It’s just that I don’t feel like I belong here” she finally answered truthfully. She didn’t want to ruin Twilights enjoyment of being able to eat with the Princess, especially since Twilight had patiently waited for her at the practice court when she was with the Wonderbolts.
“Well we can not have that can we. Also you don’t need to call me Princess anymore either.” Luna said slyly. “Dearest Sister.” The room grew quiet, “We shall retire to the courtyard, Rainbow Dash will you join us?” She announced as she stood from the table.
Rainbow glanced around the table, catching Twilight who gave an ‘ok’ nod, she stood up pushed her chair in and followed the Princess out of the dinning room. As she left, conversation perked back up, probably about what just happened. Oh well.
Dash caught up to the Princess as she was leaving, “So Prin- Luna… What are we going to do?” Dash asked, being up front with her question.
“I do not know, I was hoping you would have some ideas. What, pray tell, do you ponies do these centuries?” Luna asked.
Dash’s eyes lit up. Oh. My. Gosh, the possibilities, but one stood out the most… PRANKS! “Princess, have you ever heard of a prank?” Dash said through a clever looking smile.
One good amount of prank time thinking later…
“OK, so all we have to do is wait right here, and watch the fun.” Dash said excitedly. The two ponies smoothed an entire hall of the palace in butter, placed cling wrap on every doorway, a bucket of water also rested on each door frame, and to top it all off were a couple of trip wire pie launchers for good measure. A few moments passed as the two stood still in the shadows, and sure enough the hallway had its first victim.
A Solar Stallion was on his route, a perfect test subject, when right on cue - slip, followed by a crash, and a few curses as he became covered in pie. This got the two mares laughing, quietly. He got up on his hooves again looked around to find the suspects, but no one was there, thanks to Luna’s magic, they blended into the shadows perfectly. He went to take another step and he slipped once again, after a few more tries and a lot more cursing, he got the hang of standing, then he started sliding down the hallway, (with a little help from alicorn magic).
The two mares snickered and laughed aloud when he was out of sight, it was funny to watch, but even funnier was the look on the stallions face as he didn’t know what happened when he was scooted off down the hallway.
“Thou was right, the fun was doubled… Now let us triple it!” Princess Luna cheered. Luna flew to the roof of the hallway and motioned for Dash to join her. “Ready?” She asked.
“You bet.” Dash retorted, she was having just as much fun doing pranks with the Princess as she had when she did them with Pinkie Pie. She quickly turned to Luna who used a little flick of her horn to conjure up a whistle, one that would tell everyone that its break time. Luna allowed Dash to do the honors of pulling the rope.
“WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!” The whistle rang aloud, announcing break time, and all on the same instant every door was flung open. Mares, Colts, and Solar Guards were drenched in icy cold water, wrapped in cling wrap, and swooshed across the floor, and when they tried to get up they were pelted with pies. A few mares and colts shrieked liked little foals, even one of the Solar Guards were caught off guard by such a perfect prank.
Luna and Dash laughed as the mares and colts fumbled and dove trying to avoid slipping and the airborne pies that never seem to end, for some reason. The Pegasus Solar Guard tried to take off, but proved fruitless; they were immediately mowed down by the projectiles. The few unicorns who were trying to repel the pies couldn’t gain their balance and slid from one side of the room to the other. The earth ponies faired worse then both of the other races, they were hit by pies, and they slid across the buttered floor.
“Hey! You up there, on the roof, Sto-ahh!” A Solar Guard cried as he tried to stand but quickly slid into another guard.
“Hmm, we should take our leave.” Luna said snickering.
“Hehe! Race you to the Courtyard.” Dash said, and without waiting for an answer she was gone.
“Challenge accepted!” Luna called to the blue blur as it vanished around the corner. She looked around at the chaotic mess, with one last laugh she vanished into the shadows.
‘Come on Dash, come on, we can beat the Princess.’ Dash said in her mind repeatedly over and over. She flew past hallway after hallway. Door after door, passed and passed, each one coming faster and faster then the last, just a few more turns and a few more doors, and BOOM! She rolled into the doors and blasted into the Courtyard. Yes she was first there!
“There you are Rainbow Dash, we have bested you!” Luna exclaimed, from her poised spot on the bench next to the gardens.
Dash jaw dropped, how did she… how did I… she ran through every possibility of how Luna had ‘Bested’ her. “How did you beat me?” Dash needed too know.
“Do thou forget I’m Princess of the night? I move with the shadows” Luna answered her. “So, what do we win?” she asked.
