After being dead for a hunder million years, She's back! Everypony who is anypony will rember this!
Queen Misty just wanted her cutie mark! But after the Windigoes stole her life from her, she found ruling the dead was better! A million years later, will Twilight Sparkle and her friends be able to help her?
It was an average morning in the town of Ponyville. Twilight Sparkle, the leader of her group, was on her way to her friend Zecora, who is a zebra, in the Everfree Forest. The Everfree Forest doesn't work like the rest of Equestria. The plants and animals take care of themselves, the weather controls itself and the sun and moon raise and lower themselves. As Twilight got closer to Zecora's hut, she noticed a small, grey tombstone. She thought that she would investigate the mysterious grave, even though she had the gut feeling not to. As Twilight neared towards the mysterious tombstone, she realized that it was glowing. The glow was like the rays of th sun on a hot summer day. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. Right then, there was a sudden buzzing noise, like a bee, and before Twilight could see where the noise was coming from, a burst of energy shot from the tombstone, knocking the poor mare over.
As Twilight was recollecting herself from the incident that had just occurred, she looked up to see a tall mare looking down at her. Before Twilight could ask who this mare was, Twilight's best friends came running to her side.
"Are you okay?" Questions Pinkie Pie, her Bright Pink, poofy hair bobbing up and down as she breathes in and out per furiously.
But before Twilight could respond, she peered up to notice that the mare that was in front of her, was no longer there.
"Yes, I'm fine" Replied Twilight Sparkle, puzzled at what just happened.
Once Twilight's friends had left, Twilight Sparkle went to get her tea from Zecora's. When she went inside, Zecora had a horrid look on her face.
"What's the matter Zecora?" Inquired Twilight, rushing to Zecora in such a hurry, that she looked like a blur.
Zecora tried to blurt it out, but all that she could manage to pull off was a stutter, followed by a small moan.
Right then and there, Zecora fell to the floor with a thud. Twilight tried everything from ice cold water that she found in a near-by metal bucket, to a tickle on the nose with a grey feather that was sitting on the ledge next to them. Nothing worked, Zecora wouldn't wake up. Twilight decided to go and let her wake up on her own, besides, she was starting to feel nauseated just thinking about all of this. Twilight started out the oval door, towards the edge of the Everfree Forest. As she reached the border, with another hoof before she would reach Ponyville, she thought about Spike and if he had been effected by this. Twilight fleets back to her tree home, ignoring all the waves and greetings from passing by mares and stallions.
As she came to the door, she remembered a certain book that she had read for one of her major studies in Canterlot. It talked about the history of Equestria. Before Twilight could look back at the door, she had slammed head first into it, knocking herself unconscious.
When Twilight regained consciousness, she saw that she was inside her tree house library, surrounded by all of her friends, which, as she focused more on their faces, she could see that they all had worried expressions. Right then, as she tried to sit up, she got a huge pain on the sides of her head, about, and probably, her temples.
"Oh, no dearie! You need to rest! No time for horsing around!" Ushers Rarity to Twilight as she brings her head back down to the bright yellow pillow behind her.
"Hey! Don't look so sad Twilight! I brought some cupcakes here for you!" Cheers Pinkie Pie as she bent down and picked up a small, silver tray of multicolored cupcakes. Which, in general, looked like Rainbowdash.
They didn't smell like her, she wondered if it would taste like a rainbow. Twilight slowly bent down, the cupcake coming closer to her mouth. She tasted it, delicious! Not like a rainbow, but like an array of flavors, each coming in a row, no way near as spicy as an actual rainbow. As she laid there, in complete and utter silence, eating one of Pinkie's rainbow cupcakes, she remembered the book. As quickly as she had hit the door, she had grabbed it and laid back down on the dark blue bed.
"What's that you've got there sugarcube?" Questions Applejack as she points to the old, brown, dusty book sitting in the lap of Twilight Sparkle.
"Oh, it's a book about the Equestrian History!" Tells Twilight as she opens the crippled book to a certain page, page 13.
"Aha! Here it is!" Spontaneously outbursts Twilight as she flips a page, the smell of moldy air hitting the noses of all the mares, and points her left hoof at it.
"Here's what?" Questions Rainbowdash, crossing her front hooves in boredom as she flaps her wings rapidly.
"Here is page 13!" Remarks Twilight as she starts to read the chapter aloud, "Chapter 3, The Story Of The Goddess".
"Ooh, a story! I wanna listen, please tell it! Please, please, please!" Squeals Pinkie Pie as she hops up and down at an almost instantaneous rate.
"Okay, I'll begin" Calmly replies Twilight as she continues to read. " A long time ago, about one hundred million years ago, there lived the first of the alicorn tribe. There was only two so far, but there was more to come".
"Is that where Princess Celestia and princess Luna came from?" Interrupts Pinkie Pie as she nuzzles her small, pink nose into the book, sneezing as she does so.
"Yes,now will you let me continue?" Patiently asks Twilight, waiting for Pinkie to stop.
"Yes, please continue!" Begs Pinkie Pie as she sits down on a green beanbag and covers her mouth.
"Okay, now where was I?" Continues Twilight Sparkle,"Oh yes! So, The queen of the tribe was Queen Supernova and the king was King Blackhole. Queen Supernova was queen of all of Equestria. She was also the one that brought up the sun. Then there was King Blackhole. He was the king of all of Equestria. His job was to bring the moon and stars out at night. Queen Supernova had a bright yellow mane and a white fur coat. Her cutie mark was a Supernova. While the king, King Blackhole, was a black stallion with a white mane. His cutie mark was a white black hole" begins Twilight, before she was again, interrupted.
"So Supernova was like Celestia and Blackhole was like Luna?" Questioned Fluttershy, before blushing.
"Yes, now, as I was saying, After ninety-nine thousand years later, Queen Supernova and King Blackhole had a baby. Now, the weird part was that the baby didn't look nor act like her parents. She was white filly with light, highlighted green hair, she too was an alicorn. The parents, after one hundred or so years later, after she still did not have her cutie mark, they couldn't name her, so they just called her Mysteria or Misty for short. But Misty did not like being cutie markless, so she set out on a quest to find her cutie mark. After ten years, she was never seen again, and to this very day, no pony knows what happened to her" Finishes Twilight as she closes the book and looks up at her friends.
"Wow, what a great story!" Giggles Pinkie Pie as she claps her hooves together.
"Hmm, a mystery, I like it!" Eagerly replies Rainbowdash as she claps with Pinkie.
"Oh, I must agree, thought the part about the filly was sad!" Critiques Fluttershy, who joins in the applaud.
"Oh, the Queen,King and Princess sounded absolutely fabulous, completely divine!" Compliments Rarity as she too claps her hooves in astonishment.
"Why, this is the best story that i have ever heard since i have been from here all the way to Tinbucktoo!" Laughs Applejack, clapping along with the girls.
"I know it was nice, but it wasn't a story, it was what happened in the old Equestria and the Princess in there was the one that I saw in the Everfree Forest!" Told Twilight Sparkle in complete bedazzlement.
A few weeks later, in the fun filled town of Ponyville, everypony is doing their job, especially Twilight Sparkle. She soon realized that she had forgotten about lunch. Spike suggested that they go to a different restaurant. Twilight thought for a moment, before her stomach started to growl.
"Alright, what is the name of this restaurant?" Quizzed Twilight as she trotted towards her number one assistant.
"It's called 'To Die For'" Replied Spike as he hopped onto Twilight's back.
"Are you sure we should go there Spike? I mean, it sounds a bit dangerous!" Responded Twilight cautiously.
"Twilight, it's just a name!" Said Spike as he slammed his claw to his forehead.
"Alright then Spike, if you insist that it's safe, where is this restaurant?" Questioned Twilight, who was already halfway to where spike had pointed to.
As they neared to the restaurant, Twilight could distinguish the features of this quaint, little restaurant. It was quite small, to be honest, but the colours were nice, like the colours of the sun with the grass. At last, they had reached the restaurant. As they went inside, she saw that it was packed. Right then, she heard her name being called.
"Yo, Twilight! Over here!" Yelled Rainbowdash, who was waving both hooves in the air like a maniac.
As Twilight turned around, she saw all of her friends were there. They were all sitting at a large, round, golden table with green seats surrounding it. She trotted over to them, noticing an empty space, she sat down. As she was sitting there, she had a chance to look around. She noticed that the walls were plainly white, with a whole bunch of golden-framed pictures on it. The pictures were too far away to make out, but for the fact that they were black and white, they ought to be pretty old, maybe a thousand years old, or even older! Twilight also had a look at the characters in the restaurant. To the left of them was Lyra Heartstrings whom, Twilight has heard that she wants to be a human and Bon Bon. They were giggling about something. To the right was Vinyl Scratch, otherwise know as Dj-Pon3, the best DJ in the whole of Equestria and Octavia, the best bass player in Equestria, talking about music and Octavia trying to get Vinyl to eat with a knife and fork. In front of them was the CMC or otherwise know as the Cutie Mark Crusaders, they were planning their next trick to try to get their cutie marks. Behind them was Derpy Hooves or Bubbles, she is Equestrian's worst Mail pony, she also has derpy eyes. She was with Rosebud and Daisy. It seemed like they were serious about something. Even Big Macintosh and Dr.Whooves were there! Suddenly, Twilight saw a familiar mare come over to the Dr. and give him a kiss. It was then that she got interrupted by a mare, who when Twilight gazed up, was that same mare that was by the Dr. two seconds ago. Before she could think anymore, she was again, interrupted by this mare.
"May i take your order? Oh, by the way, I am sorry for knocking you over back there!" says the mare, blushing as she takes down all of the orders.
"Aren't you going to order sugarcube?" Asks Applejack, staring worriedly towards Twilight, everypony then gazing at her too.
"Oh yes! I'll have a Daffodil Daisy Sandwich please!" Replies Twilight Sparkle "Oh, and it's okay, um, Mysteria is it?" She adds.
"Thank goodness! Oh, and yes it is! Okay, so that's one Apple Pie, one Rose and Lily Stew, two pieces of Grass toast with a smidgen of honey, one Rainbow Ice-cream, ten Strawberry Cupcake Surprises and one Daffodil Daisy Sandwich?" Reads Mysteria, looking at everypony coherently as she does so, "Oh, and I almost forgot! One Ruby Pile for Spike!" Remarks Misty.
"That's exactly correct!" Replies Rarity, approving of Misty's services while she hands her a tip.
"I love the decor!" Praises Rarity.
Mysteria returns with all of the well cooked, fragrantly spectacular food.
"Here you go!" Misty greets, placing the foods in front of the specific pony that ordered it. "Hey, I added another sandwich to just say I am sorry, free of charge!" Enthusiastically grants Misty.
"Wow! That was fast!" Remarks Pinkie Pie.
"Aww, thank you! Oh, Misty, What happened to you after you left to find your cutie mark?" asks Twilight.
"Well, I went to find some assistance" Begins Mysteria as she sits down next to Rarity, " But when we went, it started to snow, so we hid in a cave. It then froze over and we all froze to death" Finishes Mysteria as she hops up and trots to the side of the golden table. "I am now cursed to walk the dead eternally, I also was the first to die, so I became Queen of the dead, i also got my cutie mark!" Happily replies Misty, Smiling as she lifts up the skirt of her waitress outfit to reveal a green tombstone cutie mark on her flank. "This is it!" Cheers Misty as she lowers her skirt.
"What about you and the Dr.? I saw you kissing him!" Quizzes Twilight once again, pointing her hoof at an embarrassed, red faced Dr.
"Oh, I am married to him! We also have a kid! Her name is paradoxia! She's at her school, she is in the same class as those little fillies over there!" Remarks Misty as she ushers her head to where the CMC are sitting, "She does acting classes! She's the best actor that i have ever seen!" Joyfully grants Misty as she chuckles.
"Those fillies are Applejack's, Rainbowdash's and My sisters!" Bursts Rarity in excitement as she reaches behind her and pats Sweetie Belle on the head.
"Sis, Cut it out! I am trying to get my cutie mark!" Moans Sweetie Belle as she whacks Rarity's hoof off of her head.
"Wow, that's awesome!" Yells Misty, Jumping up and down in excitement.
"Ooh! You're new here! It's time for a party!" Screams Pinkie Pie at the top of her lungs as she brings her party canon out of nowhere and presses a red button which incoherently bursts a bunch of streamers, balloons, banners and a cake out of nowhere.
Everypony starts to sing, dance and have the best party ever!
As Twilight lay there, her head still sore from the accident earlier that day, she began to think. Contemplating about whether or not to tell the princess of Misty. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep.
"Twilight, wake up!" Yelled Spike, shaking twilight as he does so, "I did the chores for you! I even made you grass pancakes!" Felicitously continues spike, handing a half-asleep Twilight a crystal-clear plate with a palatable stack of pancakes.
"Thank you Spike, I am gratified! Just give me a few minutes to get cleaned up!" With a weary, fatigued voice, Twilight replies, with a small yawn, followed by a itch on the nose.
"Alrighty then! I'll go and fetch some more quills for you!" Providently remarks Spike behind his shoulder as he closes the door behind him.
"Now, lets clean up, where did that hairbrush go?" Queries Twilight to herself as she seeks her hairbrush down.
"Aha, Here it is!" Heeds Twilight as she bends down to retrieve a clearly aged and diminished hot pink hairbrush.
She soon finds herself humming a song to herself. Once had skirmished all of the knots out of her coiffure', she trotted down the few wooden steps towards her writing stand. Thankfully, she still had one quill left. Twilight levitated the red quill with her pinkish-purple magic, and started to write.
Dear Princess Celestia, This is your most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. I know that I have already written you a letter about my lesson of friendship, but what I have to tell you is extremely important. I was on my way to Zecora's hut, like I usually do on a Monday morning, when I ran into a remarkably eerie, unnatural tombstone, sitting in the middle of the Everfree Forest. It then freakishly glowed and a mare shot out, knocking me over. I later found out that she owns a restaurant here called 'To Die For', her name is Queen Mysteria, (Which, to be honest, I don't know if that is even true), But she prefers to be called Misty. She says she is one million years old, she is white with a highlighted green mane and tail. I thought that she might be big trouble, so I decided to write this letter and tell you. Your most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.
"I'm back! I've got some quills, they're your favorite ones too!" Hollers Spike as he waves the assorted quills around.
"Good, you're back! I need you to send this letter!" Urges Twilight to Spike.
"What is it about?" Interrogates Spike, about to unravel the scroll containing the message.
"Oh, nothing, just send the letter, okay!?" Rapidly hurries Twilight, pushing the scroll in Spikes face, before he could look at it.
"Alright, geez!" Collectively replies Spike.
As soon as he breathes is green fire and the letter disappears into a cloud of green smoke, Twilight breathes a sigh of relief.
