Pinkie is the princess of the candy kingdom. Enough said.
Pinkie is the princess of the candy kingdom. She has to marry King Cheese to keep both of their kingdoms out of disarray. Can she rule her subjects with grace and flare and sugar rushes while making sure they're satisfied with her choice to marry King Cheese? We'll just have to wait and see.
The Candy Kingdom is a kingdom ruled by Princess Pinkie. The citizens here smell like sugar, caramel, and honey and are a bit shorter than the standard pony. The Candy Kingdom has existed for several hundred years and is a mecca while it's nearby just as sweet kingdoms are falling into shambles and disrepair. Princess Pinkie took the crown when her sister Princess Maudine felt she wasn't capable of ruling over the ponies, so she passed it onto Princess Pinkie. The land is filled with cotton candy and candy cane trees. There are gumdrop lined streets and streams of pure caramel. The air smells like cinnamon. Marshmallows are little soft pillows along the roads where ponies can stop and rest on their travels. The kingdom also is very caring about its fellow kingdoms, so much so that Princess Pinkie agrees to marry the ruler of one such kingdoms, King Cheese and that is where our story begins.
It's a beautiful day and Princess Pinkie is sitting on her throne. "What a joy it is to be a princess of this candy land!" sighs Princess Pinkie. "Mage Twilight, what's on the schedule for today?"
"Well, a meeting with King Cheese Sandwich of the Sugar Sweet Kingdom, and then preparations for the Sugar Rush Festival," replies Mage Twilight.
"Great! Thank you," replies Princess Pinkie with a smile.
"Oh another thing, your sister Princess Maudine is here to see you," adds Mage Twilight.
"Oh, okay, let her in!" replies Pinkie. Mage Twilight nods and goes to the door and lets Maudine in. As Maudine enters, Mage Twilight sneaks out and returns to her library.
"How are you doing today, Maudine?" asks Princess Pinkie.
"Good as usual, thanks," replies Maudine dryly. The two talk for a few hours until they are interrupted by King Cheese Sandwich.
"Welcome to the Sugar Rush Kingdom," says Pinkie with a smile.
"Thanks," replies King Cheese Sandwich. "I'm glad you were able to have me." The two then head for the main room of the castle to continue to discuss.
"Princess, let's join kingdoms! Mine is almost into the dirt. If we join kingdoms, everything can change. We can change the world."
"Okay, we can combine kingdoms, I don't want you to go under, what do we have to do to do this?"
"Princess Pinkie of Sugar Rush, will you marry me?"
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" replies Princess Pinkie with a squeal.
King Cheese Sandwich then leaves the room. Princess Pinkie sighs. Cheese Sandwich has always been the candy cane of her eye. Now, she finally gets to marry him. She just hopes it's the best idea for both herself and her subjects. That can wait, though, because now she has to go into a meeting to get things prepared for the Sugar Rush Festival. She breathes a sigh as she enters the banquet hall where she is greeted by Mage Twilight, her sister Princess Maudine, and Lady Applejack, her cousin.
"What are your ideas for the festival in two weeks?" asks Princess Pinkie.
"A pie eating competition, it's tradition after all," says Mage Twilight.
"Agreed," replies Princess Pinkie, "and I plan on adding a cake eating competition as well."
"And balloons and face paint for the foals," suggests Lady Applejack.
"Of course!" replies Princess Pinkie.
"What foods should we have?" asks Lady Applejack curiously.
"Cake, pie, ice cream, mountains of candy, and a chocolate fountain, cotton candy, marshmallows, chocolate milk," replies Princess Pinkie.
The group agrees to this then wrap up the meeting. Princess Pinkie then heads off for her jello filled pull to go in for a swim. At the jello pool, Princess Pinkie removes her dress to reveal a swimsuit then jumps in. She is then followed suit by Princess Maudine and Lady Applejack. Mage Twilight is off in her library once again. That mare is always studying. The three groan at this fact and then get back to enjoying themselves. Gladly both swimming in and eating the jello.
Meanwhile back in his kingdom, King Cheese Sandwich is pacing back and forth in front of his stained glass mirror. He can't help but think about the fact that he'll be marrying Princess Pinkie soon. For now, though, he has to suck it up. He has a meeting to go head. A few minutes later, he enters the banquet hall and the meeting commences. King Cheese talks about the union between the two kingdoms and what it'll mean for all of them and how it will help them. A few hours later, the meeting ends and King Cheese goes off to swim in his fondu pool. In the fondu pool, the king removes his cape revealing his swimsuit then jumps in. He's glad to finally have time to himself. He just hopes he's doing the right thing for his subjects by marrying Princess Pinkie of Sugar Rush. He'll think about that later. Right now, he has cheese to swim in.
That afternoon, as they hop out of their pools and dry off, the two return to their thrones. They can't help but think about how things will change when they're kingdoms become one.
"Things are about to change, about to change forever. King Cheese Sandwich and I are to be wed soon. Will it help our kingdoms? Will it really work? We'll see soon enough." Sings Princess Pinkie.

Things are about to change forever. Our wedding's not that far off. Hopefully, it'll help us both. We'll just have to wait and see. Will our marriage help our kingdoms? We'll see soon enough." The two sing. "We'll see soon enough."
Princess Pinkie looks out the stained glass window above her. It's a stained glass of her coronation. A tear fills her eye, she still remembers when her parents crowned her princess not long before they died. She then returns to her bedroom. She needs some time to think.
Meanwhile at his castle, King Cheese Sandwich looks at the stained glass window above his head. He smiles. Soon he'll have a new one made when he marries Pinkie to commemorate their union. He breathes a sigh of joy. He's sure he's doing the right thing for his country. Now, all he has to do is wait for three more months, then he can finally say the vows and accept Princess Pinkie as his wife.
That night in her bed, Princess Pinkie thinks about the wedding. It may be three months away, but she can't help but be nervous. She then begins to sing. "Is this wedding the right path to take? Is it worth the union? Am I doing the right thing? I've loved King Cheese since we were foals. Now I get to become his bride. I can't help but feel excited but I'm still nervous inside. Our two kingdoms are soon to become one. That's a very big change. Will everything turn out okay? I guess I'll see in three months time. I guess I'll see in three months time." Not long after she finishes the song, she drifts off to sleep. Tomorrow, she's going to be getting fitted for the wedding dress. She's excited, but alas, she can't help but be just as nervous.
The next morning, Princess Pinkie heads off to her dress fitting with her dress fitters Lollydiamond and Raritus. "How does that feel?" asks Raritus as she yanks the dress.
"Feels great," groans Princess Pinkie. "Can you loosen it any?"
"It's called form-fitting dear," replies Raritus, rolling her eyes, "but sure, I can loosen it a little bit for you, your majesty."
"Thank you," replies Princess Pinkie with a smile.
Meanwhile, in another part of the castle, Lady in Waiting Starlight is helping Princess Maudine prank the jesters. The two are having a blast. They always love playing pranks on the jesters. It's their favorite past time. "Thanks for pranking the jesters with me," giggles Maudine as she turns to Starlight.
"Don't mention it," replies Lady in Waiting Starlight giggling as well. Starlight then lets the bucket loose with her magic, dumping glitter filled water all over the Jesters. The jesters then burst out laughing as do Maudine and Starlight.
"Don't tell Princess Pinkie, but I think you're the more fun of the two of you," laughs Starlight.
"I won't tell, cross my heart hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye," replies Princess Maudine with a smile. The two then run off to go prank the guards, their second most favorite past time.
Two hours later, Princess Pinkie is released from the fitting by Raritus and Lollydiamond. She sighs a sigh of relief and heads off to her bowling alley room to roll several rounds to help her unwind. Little does she know her sister and Starlight have been pranking jesters and guards all afternoon without her. Alas, at this point, she doesn't really care. She rolls the ball down the alley, getting a strike. She then proceeds to get strike upon strike upon strike, soon getting tired of the game and going off to watch a movie in the cinema room. At least, she still has time to herself to watch movies, play games, and have time to let go and unwind.
Later that afternoon, Pinkie goes off to make sure the birds are perfecting their wedding tune. As she arrives outside, she is approached by the humble Fluttershy. "Hello princess," says Fluttershy, "are you here to hear the birds rehearse the wedding tune?"
"Yes, thank you," replies Princess Pinkie. Fluttershy then flies off and begins to conduct the birds. As she does, Princess Pinkie watches on with a smile. "They sound lovely."
"Thanks," replies Fluttershy.
"Keep up the good work!" Princess Pinkie then returns back inside. Once she's back inside, she goes off to see if all the invitations have arrived yet. A few minutes later, she returns with invitations in hoof and she then signs them, postmarks, and seals them, sending them off to everypony she wants to attend the big day. Now that they're out, Pinkie leans back, smiles, and begins to relax. The time of the wedding continues to loom on the horizon.
Meanwhile in his kingdom, King Cheese Sandwich sends out the invitations to the wedding to all the ponies he wants to attend then goes off to tend to his collection of mayonaisse jars. After all, those jars are his babies and he wants to keep them in the best condition possible. As he cleans his jars, King Cheese can't help but think about the wedding, after all, it's not that far off. He just hopes everything goes off without a hitch in three months time. For now, though, it's time to focus on expanding his mayonaisse jar collection.
Three months later, it's the day before the wedding. Princess Pinkie sighs as she stares out the window. Princess Maudine then walks up behind her. "Are you ready for tomorrow?" asks Maudine.
"Yes, I'm just nervous," replies Princess Pinkie.
"Don't be, you made the right choice, agreeing to marry King Cheese Sandwich," replies Maudine with a smile.
"You're right, thanks, Maudine," replies Pinkie, giving her sister a hug. The two then head off to the ice cream room in the castle to go and enjoy some ice cream cones. As they lick their cones, the sisters talk and crack jokes. Pinkie is glad her sister knows how to make her laugh. Without Maudine, she'd really be a frantic, unruly mess.
Meanwhile, in his castle, King Cheese looks out the window to Pinkie's castle in the distance. He lets out a sigh. He's nervous about tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is the big day. He gulps and goes off to his smores room and roasts himself some marshmallows for a smore. He then tosses the smore into his mouth and swallows. He then goes off to his mayonaisse room once again. After all, he won't have time to clean them tomorrow. As he dusts, he sighs to himself. Tomorrow is a new step in his life as well as Princess Pinkie's. He knows that much for certain.
The next day, Princess Pinkie walks down the aisle in her beautiful white and blush colored wedding dress and veil. A few moments later, she arrives at King Cheese Sandwich's side. The wedding then begins.
"We are gathered here today," says Mage Twilight, "to join Princess Pinkie and King Cheese Sandwich in holy matrimony. By joining these two, we join together two kingdoms. Now, I understand you have your own vows." The two nod.
"I, King Cheese Sandwich, take you Princess Pinkie, the love of my life since my foalhood, now, this day, to be my wife."
"And I, Princess Pinkie, take you, King Cheese Sandwich, the love of my life since my foalhood, today to be my husband."
"You may now kiss the bride," says Mage Twilight. Princess Pinkie and King Cheese Sandwich share a kiss. As they kiss, their tales and manes begin to twitch. The two then end the kiss and head off and hop into the royal carriage and head for the joining ceremony of the two kingdoms.
A few hours later at the joining ceremony, Princess Pinkie and King Cheese announce and officiate the joining of their two kingdoms. As they do so, their subjects cheer in joy and happiness. After the ceremony, the two go to King Cheese's castle and he unveils the new stained glass window, which places a smile on Pinkie's face and she embraces him in a hug. "This is beautiful! Thank you!"
"You're welcome," laughs Cheese Sandwich.
"Oh, now come back to my castle, I have a surprise for you too!" Cheese nods and follows her back to her castle, where she unveils a stained glass window of the two of them and their wedding. Cheese smiles and embraces her in a hug. Princess Pinkie is glad King Cheese Sandwich likes her gift. Maybe she will be happy with him after all and maybe their love will indeed draw their kingdoms together in the end.
The next day as she is looking out over her new joined kingdom of Sugar Rush Sweet Land, Princess Pinkie breathes a heavy sigh. As she sighs, King Cheese Sandwich comes out and sits down at her side. "Hey sweetheart," says King Cheese with a smile.
"Hey Cheesie, dear," replies Princess Pinkie with a smile.
"Do you want to go out for a little bit? You and I both know you need some fresh air."
"Sure," replies Princess Pinkie. She gets up and follows him to his chariot which has a cheese eating mouse painted on the bottom of it. The two hop in and the chariots drivers then take to the skies. As they fly across the sky, the two laugh, and smile. "It feels so good to be out in the fresh air!" giggles Pinkie.
"You, Pinkie dear, you are the apple of my eye. You have been since day one. Now to see the world we rule, now side by side. Come along with me, enjoy this marvelous ride. It's a time to relax, let loose, and breathe a sigh of relief. Look at the clouds, they look like cotton candy in the sky. Look at the milk river below, see the licorice bridge that crosses it. Look at the ponies as they play in an open field with not a care in the world. It's all right here at the tips of our hooves. What more could you ask for?"
"Cheese, you're the candy cane I always hold in my hoof. You've been my Cheesie, my best friend since day one. Now to see the world we rule, I'm so glad I get to do it by your side. Now over the ponies, we fly as we take in all the sights."
The two stop singing and sit back and begin to take in all the sights with smiles on their faces. They're so glad to be a couple and they can both agree, it was definitely the best choice for their kingdoms since now, both are flourishing and the ponies once again don't have a care in the world and parties now happen every day of the week, just like they used to.
Meanwhile back at the castle, Princess Maudine, Mage Twilight, and Lady in Waiting Starlight sit down around a table in the relaxation room and begin to play their favorite game: Hoofs. It's basically solitaire for ponies. As they play, the three chat about things such as the union of the kingdoms and how well it's working and other things of that nature. Princess Maudine can definitely agree that her sister made the right choice and she can't help but be proud.
It's a new day and Princess Pinkie and King Cheese are setting up plans for a Come Together Party. The two smile as they hang up decorations around the castles and around town. The two bring in balloons by the truck load and smile as they unload them. They hope their subjects like the event.
The next day, not long after the sunrise, the Come Together Party begins. Princess Pinkie and King Cheese smile as they watch all their subjects flood into the two castles and begin to party with smiles stretching from ear to ear across their faces. "You did good, Pinkie," whispers Maudine into Pinkie's ear causing a smile to appear on Pinkie's face.
"Thank you," Princess Pinkie whispers back. The two then take to the floor along with King Cheese to greet all the ponies. The party is going perfectly. Princess Pinkie, Princess Maudine, and King Cheese couldn't be happier. As the party continues on, the three talk with their subjects and the ponies talk with them with smiles.
The party continues long into the night with music, goodies, and plenty of chocolate and laughter. "This is great!" exclaims King Cheese.
"For sure! Nothing can beat our parties now that we're united as one!" replies Princess Pinkie with a smile and a squeal.
As the party continues, the King and Princess take to the dance floor and dance with their subjects. Princess Maudine laughs as she watches her sister having a fun time. As she stands there alone, Lady in Waiting Starlight and Mage Twilight come over and stand beside her and begin to talk with her. Maudine is glad they came over to talk with her. After all, she was feeling a little bit lonely.
Around midnight, the party comes to an end and all the ponies leave the castle. Now quiet, Princess Pinkie and King Cheese return to their bedroom. Maudine then returns to her room. Starlight then goes to hers down the hall and turns in for the night. Mage Twilight, however, returns to the library for some late night studying. As she falls asleep, Princess Pinkie sighs a long sigh. She's glad the party went off so well with their subjects. She honestly couldn't have asked for anything more.
The next day, Princess Maudine is up with the sun as is Princess Pinkie. As they are the first two up, the sisters decide to go on a walk. As they walk through the gardens, they laugh, joke, and just talk. Pinkie is glad to have this time alone with her sister. After all, they haven't had a walk together like this in a long time.
"Sister," asks Maudine, "are you happy?"
"Yes! Of course! Why wouldn't I be?" replies Pinkie.
"Oh, okay, I guess I just wanted to hear it from you, I'm glad you're happy," replies Maudine.
The two finish up their walk an hour later at the fountain then return inside where they are greeted by King Cheese Sandwich. Pinkie smiles as she embraces him in a hug and gives him a kiss. Princess Maudine walks off. She just wants her sister to have this time alone to talk with Cheese. After all, this isn't something that they need her input on, so she can go off and relax.
In her writing room, Princess Maudine sits down and writes some poetry alongside her trusty friend, the pebble, Boulder. As she writes, she talks to the little rock beside her. She loves writing poetry, especially poetry inspired by her rocks.
Meanwhile, in the main hall, Princess Pinkie and King Cheese are happily just talking and hanging out and handing out welfare bags to their citizens. As they do this, they can't help but smile. Helping ponies is their passion and now it's a passion that they share and they'd honestly have it no other way.
After an hour, the last bag is finally handed out and the two go off to the meditation room for some much needed peace and quiet. In the room, the two can't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Ruling a joined kingdom is hard, but at least, it's better than ruling two kingdoms that are crumbling below their very hooves.
A few months later, Princess Pinkie comes to King Cheese Sandwich with some exciting news. "Honey," she says with a smile, "we're going to be parents. I'm pregnant!"
"Well, congratulations!" exclaims King Cheese. "This is amazing news!"
"I know," giggles Princess Pinkie with a smile on her face.
The two then head off for their meeting with the rulers of another kingdom: The Queen Aritha of the Diamond Kingdom that's across the caramel streams and past the chocolate river. In the main hall, the three talk for hours. All the while, the talk being either arguing or agreeing on what should be done. Such is the life of royalty after all. By the end of the meeting, the three come to terms and King Cheese and Princess Pinkie agree that Queen Aritha can indeed borrow some of their upcoming crops of sugar cane. Queen Aritha smiles as she leaves the room and returns to her chariot. She's glad they could come to an agreement. Now, all she has to do is wait for the shipment of sugar cane to arrive at her castle door.
King Cheese and Princess Pinkie, then leave the hall and go for a stroll through the garden. As they walk, they can't help but smile and think of the little prince or princess they're soon to be calling their own. As they walk, Princess Pinkie leans her head upon her husband's shoulder and sighs. Everything is perfect. There's nothing more she could ever want in life.
Nine months later, Princess Pinkie gives birth to a healthy little filly with a light cream colored coat and brown mane and tail with a pink streak running through them. "What should we name her?" King Cheese inquires.
"Sweet Cream seems appropriate," replies Princess Pinkie with a smile.
"I agree," replies King Cheese. "It definitely suits her." He walks over and kisses Princess Pinkie on the forehead. Princess Pinkie just smiles. She's so happy to be a mother and Cheese is so glad to be a father. For now, though, he leaves the room so Pinkie can get some much-needed rest.
Once he's outside the bedroom, King Cheese walks down the door and goes inside his mayonaisse jar hall. There, he adds three new jars to the shelf. As he places them there, a smile appears on his face. He then promptly climbs back down the ladder and goes out to the garden and sits by the garden. There, he sighs a sigh of relief and a sigh of joy, he's so glad to be a father, but he knows it will come with a lot of responsibility.
Meanwhile, in the castle in their bedroom, Pinkie happily nurses a sleeping little Sweet Cream. As she does, she sings a sweet little lullaby. "Sleep my little angel darling, my little daughter, my little princess. Mom will always have you. I'll always protect you, now just sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep my angel darling dear." Pinkie then quits nursing the little filly and puts her in her crib with a smile on her face. She's so glad to be a mother. She lets out a sigh of relief and joy. She can't help but consider herself so lucky. After all, ever since she was a filly, she wanted a daughter to call her own and now that dream has finally become true.
One day after a long day of work and tending to their daughter, King Cheese and Princess Pinkie go outside and watch the Regal Flying Group led by Captain Rainbow Dash do their daily routine. As they watch, the two can't help but wear giant smiles on their faces especially Princess Pinkie. A few moments later, Captain Rainbow Dash lands in front of them. "Hey, your majesties," she says with a sleek grin on her face.
"Hey Captain Rainbow, great job, keep up the good work!" replies Princess Pinkie in a bubbly, cheerful voice.
"Thanks, Princess," replies Captain Rainbow with a bow. She then takes back to the sky followed by her soldiers. They fly back into formation and do the practice once more. As they do so, Princess Pinkie's eyes sparkle and glow.
A few hours later, the baby begins to cry and Pinkie goes back inside to the little princess's nursery and sits her down and nurses her. As she nurses the little infant in her lap, Princess Pinkie can't help but smile. She's so glad to be a mother. Meanwhile, outside King Cheese is chatting and laughing up a storm with Captain Rainbow Dash and her soldiers. They talk for hours on end, soon rejoined once again by Princess Pinkie. She then jumps right into the conversation like she never left. "So, that was some impressive flying, will you be able to pull it off for the upcoming show for the visiting Royals next week?"
"That's great news!" replies Princess Pinkie with a smile. "Now, who's ready for some lunch! I know I am!" Captain Rainbow and King Cheese nod and follow Princess Pinkie inside where they head to the dining room where they are joined by Mage Twilight, Princess Maudine, and Lady in Waiting Starlight. The chef, Sir Eclaire then enters the room and puts lots of fun filled pastries in front of the Princess and King along with several other dishes including grilled cheese sandwiches, carrot dogs, ice cream sundaes, and cotton candy. On the other hand at Princess Maudine's seat, a bowl of pebble soup with toast is set out instead of the sweets. All of them then happily dig in. Talking after every other bite. Once lunch finishes, Captain Dash thanks the Royals and returns to join her soldiers for some more practice for next week's big performance. Chef Eclair then comes out and clears out all the dishes while the Royals go and grab their daughter and go outside for some fresh air. Everything is perfect and Princess Pinkie and King Cheese are very excited and eager about next week's display when the griffon leader of Griffonland, Sven Dalo and dragon queen, Indigo along with Queen Aritha from the Diamond Kingdom, come to visit and hope the three rulers enjoy the flying show put on by Captain Dash and her men.
A week later, Princess Pinkie, King Cheese, and their visiting royal guests sit down outside as they are approached by Captain Rainbow. "Hello, visiting royals, we hope you enjoy the show! Thank you!" She then puts down the microphone, signals to her soldiers, and they take to the skies. The first maneuver they do for their routine is the Double Spiral into a Triple Loop. The visitors ooh and aah at this, their eyes glued right to the sky. Princess Pinkie and King Sandwich clap their hooves together cheerily. Captain Rainbow Dash then eyes the ground and then jumps into hyper speed and performs a rainboom for all the royals to see. At this, the visiting princess pulls out her camera and snaps a picture. She then smiles and tucks it back away. Her husband and brother roll their eyes at her. She shrugs it off. "What, it was picture worthy!" she replies.
"Whatever," reply her husband and brother, "it was pretty awesome though. We will say that much." The three then stop talking and get back to watching the show as the soldiers go into several corkscrews and Captain Rainbow trails her rainbow trail up through their corkscrew pattern. The princess cheers as she watches this along with her husband, brother, Princess Pinkie, and King Cheese. After two more hours of the show, the five go inside for a nice lunch of candy, sandwiches, and chocolate milk. Once they're done with their lunch, they go back outside and the show resumes. Princess Pinkie is glad everything is going off without a hitch. She honestly couldn't ask for more than that.
