When Discord returns to the real world once again after 100 years, he tries to take over the show once again.
When Discord returns to the real world once again after 100 years, he tries to take over the show of MLP once again and this time, the entire Mane Six teleport to the real world to try and stop him. This time, though, he's trying to take the show from Meghan McCartney and MA Larson.
It's been a hundred years since Discord was resealed in stone by Fausticorn and Twilight and now he's free once again. Alas, he didn't learn his lesson like the two had hoped and now, he's in the real world, behind the My Little Pony writing desk once again creating even more havoc and chaos than before.
Meanwhile in Equestria, Twilight gets word of what Discord has done and transports herself into the human world with her transportation spell once again. This time, though, she transports her friends right along with her. She's sure all six of them will have better luck against Discord than just her Faust last time.
A few moments later, Twilight and her friends land in the human world right outside Hasbro Studios. They then go inside with Twilight and Rarity levitating themselves and Applejack and Pinkie in through a window as Fluttershy and Dash fly up and in the window as well. Once inside, they follow the screaming and soon find Discord torturing the entire show staff. Twilight shoots a beam of magic at him and yells his name to get his attention.
"Discord!" Yells Twilight. "Leave the staff alone! Didn't you learn your lesson from last time?"
"What lesson? Lords of chaos don't do lessons," torts Discord. He then watches a scowl form on Twilight's face as she blasts him with magic once again. "Twilight, do you really think you can ever truly stop me? I'm chaos incarnate!"
Twilight huffs. "If I stopped you last time, we can stop you this time!" She yells. Discord bursts out laughing then out of the corner of his eye, he sees Fluttershy. Twilight backs off and lets her talk to the draconequus instead.
"Why are you doing this? Why are you ruining everything? Why are you risking losing me as a friend? Discord, answer me," she begins to cry, "what fun do you find in making everypony's life a living hell? What fun do you find in making my life a living hell? I thought we were friends. I...I thought we...we were friends." She then bursts into full on tears.
Discord bows his head. He knows Fluttershy is right. What he's doing is messing up her life as much as the lives of those around her yet he still does it anyways. He wants to keep her as a friend, but he can't put his chaotic nature at bay. If he does, he'll disappear forever. Fluttershy knows this fact better than any pony. She does what she has to do. She reluctantly tells Twilight to try to re-encase him in stone even though she hates the very thought of it.
Twilight continues to fly by and try to blast him with magic for several more hours before finally giving up.
Discord chuckles, "see, not even the princess of friendship can stop me, the damage is done, the script has been finished for hours now."
Twilight's eyes widen. The script isn't even really that bad as she looks at it. All he wants is a happy ending with his beloved Fluttershy even if it is surrounded by chaos. All he wants is to be with her forever. Twilight takes the script and shows it to Fluttershy. Once she sees it, she begins to cry. She's amazed. All he ever wanted was to be with her forever and now she's trying to take that away from him. She feels awful.
Meanwhile back in the world of Equestria, in Ponyville, everything is starting to morph to match what Discord wants in his perfect episode. This includes him and Fluttershy transporting back to Equestria to be the stars of the episode. The rest of the Mane Six soon transport back right behind them. As they appear, they see Fluttershy in an elegant wedding gown and veil. They can't believe their eyes. All Discord wants is a happy ending. How can they bring themselves to erase this script? They can't.
Meanwhile back in the human world, MA Larson and Meghan McCartney stumble upon Discord's episode which he titled 'Discord's Happy Ending'. They look at it confused and ask each other who wrote it.
"Who wrote this?" asks McCartney. "Did you, Larson?"
"I didn't write it," replies Larson. "I don't know who did."
"Wait, answer me this, what one of Faust's creations has enough magical abilities that he can transport across time and space as we know it?"
Larson gasps. "Only Discord," he replies. The two look at each other stunned and then their jaws drop. The two don't question it and begin to draw up the storyboards for the episode, making it official. Little do they know the effects that what they're doing will have repercussions later on down the line.
That weekend, the episode written by Discord comes out as a special weekend long episode only. Meghan liked it that much as did Larson. Discord is finally starting to get what he wants and he couldn't be happier. Just like the writers, the fans absolutely love the episode and it soon becomes the most talked about thing in the fandom. Every brony can't help but talk about it.
At Bronycon that weekend, the Bronies enjoy the episode and talk about it nonstop once it's done. "Wow!" sighed Doctor Wolf, "that was an amazing episode! It was nice to see Discord finally get his happy ending!"
"Eh, it was okay, I guess," replies KP.
"I rather enjoyed," says a young boy as he walks passed the two of them. "But to be honest, I'm a mega Discord fan!"
"So am I," replies KP, "I just prefer him having to struggle to get what he wants. There was no struggle in this episode."
Meanwhile, other Bronies are tweeting about the newest episode and telling their thoughts about it on their Facebook groups as well as their personal Facebook pages. They are all going "Rara" over the episode as they put it. They can't stop talking about it.
Meanwhile at Hasbro headquarters, the MLP team is satisfied with their work. Meghan and MA take the credit because they can't give credit to a made up character, but they do give credit to his voice actor, John De Lancie, for cowriting it alongside them instead as they see it as the next best thing. All around, they're satisfied and to go celebrate, they go out for coffee and cookies. They can all agree it's about time Discord got his happy ending and they see this episode proves that very well.
A few days later, when this episode reaches the news section of Equestria Daily, Faust can't help but check it out. As she does, she can't help but smile. She may not have wanted him to have a happy ending but she enjoys the episode anyways because she sees it as very well written. She even recommends that she wishes it lasted long than just the weekend in the comments below the article. Lauren is happy with Meghan, MA, and De Lancie's work and is glad they're finally putting their mark on her darling baby, My Little Pony.
Three days after the special episode release, Discord returns to the real world and requests if he can ask another one. To this, Meghan McCarthy and MA Larson agree. The three sit down and begin to write another episode together. Discord can't help but smile. His dreams are all coming true and he couldn't be happier.
"Why don't we write an episode where Pinkie snaps again?" suggests Discord.
"I like that idea," replies Larson with a smile.
"Oh goody!" cheers Discord. The three get to work on the episode. He's taken over the show but not in a chaotic, over the top way, like he did with Lauren Faust. MA and and Meghan consider themselves very lucky. They're glad Discord is on their side and not against them.
That weekend, the episode comes out and to much applause from the fandom. Everyone loves watching Pinkie snap and this episode's earnings just prove that to a tea. All the cast and staff celebrate over donuts and poutine and coffee. They couldn't be happier! The show is on the rise and it's all thanks to Discord. They've even started working on a new Discord doll of him holding a pen and wearing glasses and it's heading off to production to be made into an official toy. Discord is gaining more popularity every single day and he can't help but wear a smile.
Three months later, several new Discord author dolls are pushed out onto store shelves all across the globe. Discord can't help but smile as he flies into the store and buys one for himself. As he does, he is flocked by fans. He gladly signs their notepads and answers their questions. Once he's passed all the fangirls and fanboys, he flies off to Hasbro Studios to return to the episode writing desk. Today's episode stars him, Fluttershy, and Screwball. He can't wait to write this one!
Back at the studio, Discord sits down and writes the episode and then after five hours, sends it off to storyboard and then animation. That weekend, the episode airs and stars him, Fluttershy, and Screwball. As the fans watch, they begin to flip out at the sight of Screwball as they haven't seen her in literally forever. They even turn out in droves afterwards to the stores to buy all the new toys including the Discord author doll and the Screwball doll and Fluttershy the bride doll. The stores are overwhelmed by all the fans buying toys and one worker even gets trampled and has to be rushed to the hospital.
A few days later, Discord returns to his world of Equestria and is greeted by all his friends including his beautiful wife Fluttershy and her best friend Rainbow Dash. He's so glad to see them. They, along with the others and Screwball and Derpy and Dinky, then head to the Equestria Theater for free movie night. Fluttershy and Screwy are so glad Discord is back and so is he. Life is now perfect for Discord. He's still chaotic, but he's chaotic with a purpose now and that purpose is the family he loves and cares about with all of his heart.
Several weeks later, a new episode comes out that Discord doesn't particularly like and he pops back into Hasbro and yells at them. "What is this! What is this catastrophe you put out today? Why isn't it another Discord episode?" He hollers, demandingly.
"You're not our only character, our only asset, Discord," replies Meghan from behind her desk.
"So be it," he says as he snaps his claw and makes her unable to talk and then snaps again to bind her to the chair. He then does the same to Larson.
Twilight soon gets word and transports to the real world to stop him. After hours and hours, she manages to get him calmed down and under control and then she transports them back to Equestria where Fluttershy immediately begins to chew him out. Now he can't help but feel bad and undoes all that he did to Larson and McCarthy, putting a smile on Fluttershy's face once again. The last thing he wants to do is lose her. He then reluctantly lets Twilight turn him to stone because he sees it as the only way to keep himself from going berserk.
"Daddy no! Daddy no! No! No! Daddy!" cries Screwball as she watches Twilight encase him in stone.
"It's for the best, sweetie," says Fluttershy as she tries to comfort her daughter.
Meanwhile back in the real world, everything gets back to normal. They get back to releasing new, non Discord based episodes. Everything is perfect, calm, quiet, perfect. The staff all sigh a sigh of relief. They no longer have to worry about Discord even though they can't help but admit that they kind of miss having him and his silly antics around. He kept them entertained. Now he's gone and everything just seems dull in comparison.
Back in Equestria, Screwball enters Fluttershy's house and sits down on the spare bed and just cries. She misses her daddy. She misses his carefree spirit and fun and chaos. "Why, my daddy Discord," she sings as tears form in her eyes, "why do this to me? Why do this to me?"
"Oh honey," sighs Fluttershy taking Screwball in her arms. "He'll be out soon enough. Just be patient. After all, don't you have the school fair to look forward to this weekend with your friends?" Screwball nods her head. "Then lets go put together that claw machine you've been talking about." Screwball agrees and follows her mother to the kitchen where she creates a claw machine with her magic. They then go to the store to get things to fill it because they see it as much more fun that way than just creating toys with magic. Maybe, she can be happy after all. Maybe her mother can fill that void until her father gets free from his stone prison. She can't help but admit that.
That weekend, Fluttershy and Derpy take their daughters to the school carnival. The two then set up their games side by side. Dinky has a muffin throwing game. Screwball giggles. Classic Dinky, takes right after her mother. A few minutes later, the ponies come in to the carnival grounds and begin to play the games and buy sweets to eat to their hearts content. Screwball can't help but smile but at the same time, she can't help but miss her father. She knows she did it of his own choice, but she still can't get over it because he was the only pony that ever truly understood her. Just the same, she has to power through and try her best to enjoy the carnival today.
Meanwhile, in the human world, the My Little Pony creators are working on yet another MLP Movie since the first one was such a huge hit. This time, the villain is Tirek returning to face off with the ponies once again. They also have all the characters from the first movie minus the Storm King, Tempest, and the porcupine. They also added yet another fan favorite to the new movie: Cheese Sandwich with Weird Al returning to the role as well as the return of Rara. They know the fans are going to be so pleased. Everything is perfect in the writers room. They're all giddy and excited about this new project again with the help of Lionsgate.
In Ponyville, the carnival goes off without a hitch and Screwball actually rather enjoys herself. Fluttershy smiles. She's glad her daughter is having a good time interacting with the ponies who continuously come up to her claw machine game. She couldn't ask for anything more for her daughter than happiness. She really and truly couldn't.
It's a new day in Equestria and everything is normal, quiet, it's odd not having Discord around doing his trademark chaos. Screwball and Fluttershy can definitely agree to that. They both are starting to miss him immensely and Fluttershy even goes as far as asking Twilight to free him from his stone prison.
"I can't," sighs Twilight, "I can only cast the spell. I can't undo it. It is a form of time lock spell after all."
"How long then?" asks Fluttershy.
"Maybe a year at most," replies Twilight, "I didn't put a time lock on it of over fifty years. I can tell you that much."
Fluttershy thanks Twilight for this information then flies off. All she wants is for her daughter to be happy. Now, she has to break the news to her. The truth is, she doesn't know how to tell Screwball. She'll have to figure that out on the fly home.
Once at home, Fluttershy tells Screwball the unfortunate news and watches as her daughter breaks into tears. Screwball is devastated. Fluttershy does her best to comfort her daughter but to no avail because she ends up breaking into tears herself. They both miss Discord immensely and are ready to have him back in his chaotic, not stone cold statue, state.
Ninety days later, Discord finally is let free from his stone prison. As soon as he's fully free, he returns home and is greeted with excited hugs from Fluttershy, Screwball, as well as all the rest of the Mane Six. Everypony is glad he's back.
"I'm so glad you're back, daddy," says Screwball.
"I'm so glad to be free because now I can hug you and prank others with you and share in your joy," replies Discord hugging her. Screwball just laughs. The two then pop off to do their trademark chaos somewhere.
Fluttershy heads off to Sugar Cube Corner with her friends since she knows that Discord has got things handled with Screwball, albeit chaotically. Everything is back to normal. It may not be perfect, but her family is the best thing that ever happened to her. For now, though, she's just glad to be enjoying some homemade sweet treats with her friends.
A few days after being freed, Discord returns to the human world to apologize. A few moments later, she pops into Hasbro and then into the writers room. Then, he apologizes.
"I'm sorry for being a pain in your ass," says Discord to MA Larson and Meghan McCarthy.
"We forgive you," replies Meghan with a smile. "You have a temper, who doesn't?" She laughs.
"I'm glad you forgive me," replies Discord with a smile. "I promise not to demand too much from you when it comes to my episodes from now on."
"Thank you for that," replies Larson. "We can't wait to work more with you in the future!"
"And I with you!" replies Discord before popping back to Equestria. Everything is right in the world, or rather, worlds and that puts a smile across his face that will never disappear ever again.
Back in Equestria, he goes to the Ponyville Carnival and rides the Ferris wheel with her mother and father. The three giggle as they try to touch the clouds from the top of the wheel as they begin to come back around. Everything in their family is perfect as is everything in the Equestria they call home around them.
As the Ferris wheel touches back onto the ground, the three hop off and take to the skies. They're heading for Hayburger for lunch and then Sugar Cube Corner to meet up with the rest of the Mane Six for a meeting. It's one covering the overuse of fourth wall breaking of all things because Discord has seemed to have forgotten the side effects of that. It's about time they're straight with him. Fluttershy definitely agrees with her friends on that which is why she hasn't told him the truth.
At Sugar Cube Corner, Fluttershy sits down at the table with her friends and then tells Discord straight. "Discord, you are abusing fourth wall rules, you've crossed dimensions too often and it's starting to affect everything around you and around the humans in their world as well. You need to calm down in using your fourth wall breaking powers for awhile."
"But, but, but, Pinkie back me up," replies Discord.
"No can do," replies Pinkie, "even I don't abuse the fourth wall as much as you do."
"C'mon!" yells Discord. He then storms off to his pout hole in the middle of the chaos dimension.
"I know he's mad, but he will calm down eventually," sighs Fluttershy. "He'll come around. I hope." She then flies off followed by Screwball as they return to her house. There, they can wait for him to get over his hissy fit and return home.
The rest of the Mane Six then continue to eat their treats. "Maybe we came on a bit too strong, too obvious?" suggests Rainbow. "Maybe we should've waited?"
"No, no, we shouldn't have waited," replies Twilight. "Discord will be fine. He's just going to need awhile."
She then flies off to her castle and the rest of the Mane Six return to their homes as well. In time, she knows, or at least, she hopes, Discord will learn to not overabuse his powers.
Meanwhile in the chaos dimension, Discord is still moping. He can't believe Fluttershy, his own wife, told him to cut down on breaking the fourth wall. Fortunately, five months later, he quits breaking the fourth wall altogether. Fluttershy couldn't be any more delighted! She's just glad he's finally come around and is now just a loving, albeit chaotic, father and husband to her and Screwball.
A year later, the second My Little Pony Movie is released and to much success on opening weekend. Everyone on staff is happy. The movie is a hit. It's accompanying merchandise is also a success. What more could they ever ask for?
Meanwhile, back in Equestria, everything is back to normal now that Discord has officially stopped abusing his fourth wall breaking powers. Fluttershy is happy that he's come to see the error in his ways. Right now, he's treating her and Screwball to a fun night at the movies. Everything is amazingly perfect and they truly couldn't ask for it any other way.
