"That was a close match, Ness." A blue hedgehog says as the duo leaves the Battlefield. "I almost won."
"I know." Ness says remembering the match. "It didn't help that I was unable to dodge your Final Smash."
Sonic laughs. "You know that nothing's fast enough to dodge Super Sonic!"
"I think that Rainbow might be able to." Ness says without thinking.
"Rainbow?" Sonic says with a quizzical expression on his face. "Who's Rainbow?"
Ness considers his options closely before responding with "You remember my Canterlot High friends?"
"Sure I do, Ness. You told everyone here about your adventures when you got back."
"And you remember that I said that the people I traveled with have magical abilities?"
"Yeah?"
"Rainbow is one of the friends I made there. Her magical ability is super speed."
"Oh." A sly grin spreads across Sonic's Face. "You don't suppose that she'd be up for a little competition?"

'Dear Twilight,
A friend of mine wants to challenge Rainbow to a race. Do you think she'd be okay with that?

Ness and Sonic wait in Ness's house for a reply from his friend. It doesn't take long for a reply to appear.
'Ness,
I'll gladly race your friend, so come on through the portal!
Rainbow'
"Follow me," Ness says as he steps through the mirror that functions as the portal.
Sonic follows and sees Ness and Rainbow there waiting for him.
Rainbow laughs upon seeing Sonic. "Ness! When you said a friend of yours wanted to race me, I didn't think that you meant the one and only Sonic!" She says as she starts walking over to the school's running track.

"The rules are simple! The first one to complete five laps is the winner! Seeing as how Sonic wanted to see how Rainbow fairs with her super speed, so she'll be allowed to use her magic, and Sonic is allowed to use his Spin Dash to gain a little speed if he needs to. Anything else that improves ones top speed is not allowed and will be counted as cheating." Ness says as Rainbow and Sonic line up at the starting line. "That means no Super Shoes or Super Sonic." Ness says looking at Sonic. Ness charges his PSI and points his hand straight up. "On your marks. Get set. GO!" Ness yells as he unleashes a burst of PK Thunder.
The two racers start running upon hearing the sonic boom, Rainbow with a rainbow colored streak behind her. Stays in the lead for the better portion of the race, that is until Rainbow passes him around the second lap, but uses a quick Spin dash to gain a little ground. It doesn't last long, though, because Rainbow catches up again at lap three and passes him for the lead in lap four. Rainbow ends up being the one to pass the finish line first, having won by half a lap. Sonic passes it a few seconds later, gasping for breath.
"You're fast." He says, panting. "TOO fast." Sonic offers Rainbow his hand. "It was an honor to have raced you. I'm just glad Ness was the only one who saw me lose." He says, turning back towards the portal. And seeing Rainbow's friends sitting in the bleachers in the process.
"My reputation!" He yells as he runs at top speed for the portal.
"It's so great that Ness managed to get us these plane tickets! I've always wanted to visit a tropical island!" Pinkie says with jubilation as the group of seven friends get off the plane they had gotten on in Onett. "I can't wait to see what there is to do here!"
"I can't wait to see where we'll be staying." Rarity says as the attendant's unloading Rarity's mountain of luggage. "I hope it meets our needs."
"Oh I-a think it'll meet-a your needs perfectly." A voice says coming from the red and blue clothed mustachioed man standing in front of them.
"Ohmigosh!" Rainbow exclaims. "I can't believe we're actually meeting the great Super Mario!"
Mario offers his hand to each of the girls. "I-a figured you might want-a someone to meet you when you arrived. As your friend already pointed out, my name is Mario Mario. And on behalf of the Pianta, I'd like to welcome you to Isle Delfino!" Mario directs them towards a boat. The attendant moves to follow with some of the luggage before Mario stops him. "My brother and I will-a pick it up later." He explains before turning back to the girls "You'll be-a staying in the prestigious Hotel Delfino. I'd just-a recomend that you stay away from the casino." Mario chuckles. " I-a already had to clean-a the whole island when I was framed for polluting it. I can't imagine what would happen to me if I allowed minors to gamble."
"We'll stay away from the casino." Applejack says as she directs a stern look at Rainbow Dash.
"Good. When we-a get to the Hotel, I'll let-a you get settled in before the Princess and I give you the tour of the island, showing you all it has to offer." Mario says everyone climbs into the boat and a Noki starts the engine.

"And you-a girls will have the entire third floor to yourselves," Mario says as he leads them up another flight of stairs at the hotel. "You can feel-a free to visit anyplace in-a the hotel, except for the casino, until it's time for-a the tour. This includes the pool we-a passed on the second floor." Mario turns to leave. "I-a need to go help Luigi bring your luggage here, so feel free to look around. The restrooms are on-a the first floor if you need them." Mario walks back down the stairs.
"Well, it looks like Ness got us the royal treatment." Rarity says as everyone looks around their rooms. "I mean just LOOK at the size of our rooms!"
"There's a reason for that." A regal voice says as a woman in a pink dress with blue earrings approaches them from the stairwell. "It's the only hotel in all of Isle Delfino."
"I guess that makes sense." Fluttershy says. "But how could Ne-"
Fluttershy is cut off by Pinkie Pie jumping in front of the woman and bowing. "OH MY GOSH! PRINCESS PEACH! IT"S AN HONOR TO MEAT YOU!" She exclaims excitedly.
"There's no need for that." Peach says to Pinkie. "Mario went to get your luggage, so I thought that you might want some company." Peach pulls a chair over and sits on it as a man dressed in a green shirt and hat and indigo overalls comes up the stairs with some luggage.
"That's a lot of luggage." Luigi says as he puts the luggage on the ground. He then turns towards the girls. "H-hello. It's a me, Luigi! I figured I'd bring the luggage I had with me up here when I arrived. You know, so you could get settled in." Luigi turns towards the Princess. "Mario's back at the airstrip picking up the rest of the luggage." He says, explaining Mario's absence. "It shouldn't take him long to get back through the warp pipes we've had set up."
Sure enough, Mario and a Pianta emerge from the stairwell, each with an armful of luggage, as Luigi finishes talking.
"Here's the rest of-a your stuff." Mario says as he puts the luggage down, making sure to be careful with a backpack that Spike is sticking his head out of. "We'll let-a you put your stuff away and then-a we'll start the tour."

"And if-a you need medical assistance, then Doctor Mario should be able to help you." Mario says as he points towards a building with a sign that looks like a giant red and blue Megavitamin in front of it as he finishes the tour in Delfino Plaza. "Feel-a free to do whatever you want while you're here." He points towards a group of differently colored Warp Pipes in front of the Grand Pianta Statue. "These-a pipes will take you to-a the different locations around the island. Each one has a sign that states where they'll take you to."
"Thank you, Mario!" Pinkie exclaims.
"Uh, Mario? Can I ask you something, dear?" Rairity asks.
"What is it."
"How could Ness afford to get us a vacation here?"
"About that. I was-a framed for polluting the island a few years ago. My name-a was eventually cleared, but not after I had been forced to clean up the ENTIRE ISLAND!" He turns to look at them. "After they realized-a their mistake, the government of Isle Delfino made me an offer. Me, and anyone I invite-a, are allowed to stay at Isle Delfino for as long as wanted, free of charge." Mario smiles. "Ness remembered that they made me that deal with me after our last match on the Delfino Plaza stage. He talked to me, and I talked to the people of Isle Delfino, and they gave me the tickets you used to get here." Mario turns to leave. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to check on-a the Princess."
The girls all look at one another.
"Well, we'd better enjoy this while we can." Sunset says. "After all, school starts up again in just about a week."
-A week later-
"Well that was fun!" Pinkie says as she remembers all that the girls had done over the week as they stand in front of Ness's mirror portal, which had included fishing and Blooper Surfing at Rico Harbor, soaking up the sun at Gelato Beach and Sirena Beach, riding the roller coaster at Pinna Park, swimming at Noki Bay, and viewing the volcanic insides of Corona Mountain.
"It was, wasn't it?" Rainbow says. "I swear I must have beaten the record with those Bloopers!"
"Yeah, but now it's time to go back home," Sunset says as the girls step through the portal into the snow-covered grounds of Canterlot High.
"I-I th-think we f-forgot that we w-went there on W-winter Break." Fluttershy says as the girls shiver in their tropical garb.
Late one Friday night at Canterlot High, a small yellow mouse steps out of the base of the Wondercolt statue.
"Pikachu!" The yellow mouse says in confusion as it looks around at its new surroundings. One minute it had been resting in Ness's room, looking at itself in his mirror, and the next it's standing in front if a high school, or at least it was before it got scooped up in the net. The Pikachu had just been caught by the dog catcher, to be brought in to the local animal shelter.
-The next day-
"Mr. Director? I'm here." Fluttershy says as she enters the doors to the animal shelter.
"Fluttershy? I'm glad you could make it today. We got some new strays yesterday. I'd like you catalog and tag them, please, before putting them where they belong."
"Sure thing, Mr. Director."
Fluttershy quickly got to work, and ended up taking care two rabbits, three dogs, two hamsters, and a cat before getting to a murine creature that she instantly recognized.
"I think that's supposed to be a Pikachu." Fluttershy says as the Pikachu perks up upon hearing its name.
"Pikachu!" It says as sparks of happiness dance from its cheeks upon hearing someone finally recognize its name.
"Of course I'd recognize a Pikachu when I see it." Fluttershy says, having understood what the Pikachu said with her magic. "Playing Pokemon is one of my guilty pleasures."
"Pika-Pi!" The Pikachu says as it lays down and spins on the table before hopping down to stand at Fluttershy's feet.
"You want to go home with me." Fluttershy asks the electric mouse.
The Pikachu nods its head, and nuzzles Fluttershy's leg, lightly shocking her in the process.
Fluttershy giggles and picks Pikachu up. "Okay then. I'll just put you in my backpack and sneak you out at the end of the day." She says as she heads to the locker where she puts her stuff in while she's at the animal shelter.
-At Fluttershy's House-
"Okay, you can come out now." Fluttershy says in a sweet voice as she kneels over and tilts her backpack towards the floor so she can let her new friend out. The Pikachu quickly scampers out of the backpack and looks around, seeing its new home for the first time. "Pika!" it says as it looks around at Fluttershy's bedroom before looking at Fluttershy and smiling.
It had been a week since Fluttershy brought home a Pikachu as a pet, when another Pokemon came through the portal, searching for the Pikachu. It didn't take long for it long to track the Pikachu, who was currently with Fluttershy and her friends, who had all come to accept the Pokemon as Fluttershy's pet upon seeing it for the first time. It dove down towards the Pokemon with its claws bared and landed with flames pouring from its mouth.
"CHARIZARD!"
"O-oh my." Fluttershy collapses to the ground fainting in fright.
The Charizard looks between Fluttershy and Pikachu before turning towards Fluttershy. Fluttershy's friends move forward to protect their friend, but get stopped as a bolt of lightning emerges from the sky, striking the Charizard. This makes the Charizard turn towards Pikachu and as a stream of flames erupt from its mouth, aimed right at the Pikachu. The Pikachu dodges, engulfs itself in lightning, and runs at top speed, ramming itself into the Charizard, knocking it over in the process. It then takes advantage of the opportunity by quickly ramming into it over and over again, until the Charizard eventually faints.
The Pikachu turns around and nuzzles Fluttershy, gently shocking her to rouse her from her unconsciousness. Fluttershy then sees the defeated Charizard on the ground in front of her.
"Pika!" Pikachu says proudly before running off in a determined sprint.
"Pikachu! Wait!" Fluttershy says as she and her friends start running after the electric mouse. The Pikachu leads them on a chase al the way to the portal before diving into it.
"I-it's gone." Fluttershy says as she looks at where the PIkachu used to be before starting to cry. The group of friends just stand there, comforting Fluttershy in a group hug until they hear a muffled "Pika!" This causes the group to look down where they see Pikachu standing and holding two Pokeballs, one of which is in its mouth, which it spits out at Fluttershy's feet.
"Y-you want me to make it official?" Fluttershy asks the yellow mouse. Pikachu nods and gestures at the ball at her feet. Fluttershy reaches down, picks up the red and white colored orb and tosses it at Pikachu. The Pokeball shakes three times before a star appears from the ball.
"Okay, I get the Pikachu bringing you one Pokeball, but what's the second one for?" Rainbow asks.
Realization dawns on Pinkie's face as she starts to jump up and down. "It must be for the Charizard it fought!"
"B-but I'm not really c-comfortable with d-dragons." Fluttershy stammers.
"Uh, Fluttershy? Charizard technically isn't a dragon." Rainbow says.
"Huh?"
"Charizard is a Fire/Flying type. The Dragon type is only part of its typeset if it Mega Evolves it into Mega Charizard X."
"O-okay then." Fluttershy picks up the second Pokeball. "Let's go catch ourselves a Charizard."

That night, Fluttershy put two Pokeballs on her bedside table before she went to sleep. Tomorrow would be a great day of training her new friends.
Fluttershy's Mansion (Nightmare Night's Short Story)
"Why'd they have to go in there?" The yellow skinned girl asks herself as she walks back and forth in front of the front door of the dark, foreboding mansion that looms before, contemplating whether she should go in and check on her freinds. She had reluctantly been brought along when her friends went through the warp pipe Mario had built, which would allow them to visit the Mushroom Kingdom whenever they wanted to, saying that they wanted to inspect the haunted mansion that Luigi had won in a contest a while ago. They had entered the mansion over two hours ago, with Luigi in tow, leaving Fluttershy out front with Professor E. Gadd. They had yet to return.
"I'm sure your friends are alright," someone says as they put a hand on Fluttershy's shoulder in an attempt to comfort her, which only caused the scared girl to let out a startled scream.
"Oh, it's just you," Fluttershy says relieved, after seeing that it was E. Gadd who had touched her shoulder. "I'm just worried about them."
"As I said, I'm sure they're all right. After all, they've got Luigi with them, and I taught him everything he knows when it comes to taking care of haunted mansions."
Fluttershy is about to respond when the front door open and Luigi emerges with a somber look on his face.
"E. Gadd, I need the Poltergust." He says to E. Gadd before turning towards Fluttershy as E. Gadd heads to his lab. "King Boo has captured your friends." He looks down at his feet. "I tried to stop him, but without the Poltergust, there wasn't much I could do. I barely made it out of there myself." He says as he turns and looks at the mansion.
Fluttershy starts to cry. Luigi hears her, walks over to her, and puts an arm around Fluttershy. "Everything will be fine Fluttershy. When E. Gadd returns with the Poltergust, I'll go back in there and rescue your friends." He says as he gives her a comforting squeeze.
"Thank you, Luigi." Fluttershy says, sniffling, as she sees E. Gadd returning with a flashlight and two vacuum cleaners.
"Luigi, I know you said you wanted the Poltergust 3000, but I found the Poltergust 5000 as well. I figured I bring them both, in case you'd want to use i instead." E. Gadd says as he puts the Poltergusts down.
"Thanks, Elvin." Luigi says as he picks up the Poltegust 5000 and turns to go back into the mansion.
"Luigi, wait! I'm going with you." Fluttershy says as she runs forward and picks up the Poltergust 3000 and the other flashlight.
"No, Fluttershy. Let Luigi handle this." E. Gadd says as Luigi turns to look at Fluttershy with a look of surprise on his face.
"I can't just stand here while my friends are in trouble!" Fluttershy says, with a pleading tone to her voice.
"No, Fluttershy. It's just not safe."
"I think she should come."
Fluttershy and E. Gadd turn and look at Luigi in surprise, before Fluttershy runs forward and envelops Luigi in a friendly hug.
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!" She squeals as Luigi shoots a look at E. Gadd.
"Fine," E. Gadd says, conceding defeat. "But let me give her a crash course in ghost hunting first."
----
"Be careful you two!" E. Gadd says to Luigi and Fluttershy as they walk up the pathway to the mansion after E. Gadd put Fluttershy through a five minute training session. Fluttershy actually managed to get really good, especially after she learned that her Stare would work on the ghosts as well as, if not better than, the flashlight E. Gadd gave her. E. Gadd waves until he sees the door of the mansion close with the finality of a tomb.

"So where are we going?" Fluttershy asks as she turns her flashlight on and grips it tightly.
"We're going to the basement." Luigi says as he opens the door that leads to the first floor. "King Boo's minions were escorting your friends in that direction when I escaped." He says as he steps through the door, holding it open for Fluttershy.
"Okay, Luigi, lead the way." Fluttershy says as she steps through the doorway and follows Luigi as he starts to walk down the hallway to the stairs. The two walk in silence until Fluttershy realizes that the lights are on.
"Hey Luigi?"
"Hmm."
"Why are the lights on? I thought they stayed off unless you've caught all of the ghosts in a specific area."
Luigi stops and opens the door that leads to the stairs to the basement. "They're on because I already cleared this area of ghosts. Maro had told me that your friends wanted to come here, so I took care of every ghost I could find in the mansion, so it would be lit when they arrived." He says, explaining as he steps out of the way so Fluttershy can walk through the doorway. They enter the room and head down the creaky staircase. Luigi then turns to his left, opens the door to the Cellar, and follows Fluttershy into the room. Luigi quickly heads to the door that will lead to the final hallway, make a pathway for them to follow by vacuuming up the piles of dust that was blocking the way.
"This door will lead us to the final hallway," Luigi says as he opens the door and Fluttershy looks inside.
"It l-looks d-dark in th-there," Fluttershy stammers.
"That's because ghosts don't like light, and King Boo should be in the room at the end of the hallway." Luigi says as he turns off his flashlight, before turning to Fluttershy. "Turn your flashlight off. It'll give us the element of surprise for when we find him."
Fluttershy complies as they enter the door, and Luigi starts to lead her down the hallway. The two walk in silence until they reach the door at the end of the hall.
"Ready?" He asks.
Fluttershy slowly nods her head, and Luigi opens the door to find King Boo staring right at them with Fluttershy's friends behind him, except for Pinkie Pie, who's stuck in a painting.
"Boo." He says as he attacks, but Luigi startles him by turning on his flashlight before he reaches them.
"Fluttershy!" Luigi says as he turns on the Poltergust 5000 to suck up King Boo.
"I'm on it!" Fluttershy turns on her Poltergust 3000 and starts to help Luigi with catching the ghost. It doesn't take them long before King Boo gets sucked up by Fluttershy.
"Are you girls okay?" Fluttershy asks as she and Luigi enter the room.
"We're fine, but King Boo trapped Pinkie Pie in a painting." Rainbow says as she envelops Fluttershy in a hug.
Luigi pulls out the Game Boy Horror and turns it on. "E. Gadd?" Luigi nods "Yeah it's-a me. We're going to need you to power up the Ghost Portrificationizer."
The girls quickly walk out of the room and leave the mansion, with Fluttershy carrying Pinkie Pie's portrait the entire way. The group walks all the way to E. Gadd's lab, where they see the elderly professor waiting outside for them.
"Hello, Fluttershy. I'm glad to see that you and your friends made it out all right." E. Gadd looks at the portrait. "Or most of you."
"Can you reverse it?" Fluttershy asks.
"I can. Luigi let me know about your situation, so I've got the Ghost Portrificationizer ready." He says as he takes the portrait from Fluttershy and leads the girls to the device. He then puts the portrait at the end of the device and sets the process in motion of restoring Pinkie Pie to her true form, which causes giggles to emanate from the painting the entire time.
"Now we've just got to return King Boo to his portrait." He says as he directs Fluttershy to an opening and has her put the nozzle of the Poltergust 3000 in it. Immediately the Ghost Portrificationizer starts up, doing the same thing it did to Pinkie Pie, except in reverse.
"Glad to see everything's been taken care of," Luigi says as he enters the room, before turning to the girls. "I assume that you'll want to head home now."
The girls nod and Fluttershy moves to take off the Poltergust 3000, but Luigi stops her.
"Keep it."
"What?"
"I saw how skilled you've become with it when we caught King Boo. So I want you to keep it."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." Luigi says as he puts the Poltergust 5000 on the ground. "Now then, let's get you girls home."
Giggle at the Ghostly (Fluttershy's Mansion Follow-up)
It had been a long day for Luigi. He and Mario had been busy dealing with Bowser's biweekly kidnapping of Peach.
'All I want to do is get some rest.' He thought as he opened the front door to his house, even though he knew he would get tackled by his pet the moment he stepped inside. He waited for a minute after closing the door. Nothing happened.
"Eh? Why hasn't he pounced yet?" Luigi asks as he walks over to where he keeps the Poltergust 5000, pulling it out, and putting his arms through the straps. Luigi then reaches down, picks up the built-in flashlight, and turns on the Dark-Light Device, pointing it at the floor. Immediately, ghostly paw-prints appeared under the multi-hued glow that emanated from the flashlight. Luigi followed them until he reached a wall, then looked up and noticed a white ring imprinted on the wall.
"Where did he run off to?" Luigi says as he sighs and heads for the front door.
----
Meanwhile, the girls were at a slumber party at Twilight's house. Rainbow, Applejack and Pinkie were playing a game together, while Rarity, Sunset and Twilight were talking to each other about fashion. This left Fluttershy in the kitchen, feeding Spike dog treats. She was reaching into the box to grab him another treat when she felt something slippery and cold. She makes sure she has a firm grip on the mysterious object before she pulls it out of the box. The object turns out to be a golden dog bone.
"How'd that get in here?" She asks as she turns to head to Twilight's room so she could ask the girl about how it got into the box of treats. That's when she sees a ghostly white dog sitting on the floor in front of her. Fluttershy screams out, startled, as the dog jumps at her.
----
"Why couldn't E. Gadd have made the Dark-Light Device unable to overheat!" Luigi says as he finally winds up in front of one of the Warp Pipes that would take him from the Mushroom Kingdom to Canterlot. He had been following the paw-prints for over an hour before the trail came to an end at the pipe. The Dark-Light Device had overheated a couple of times and had forced Luigi to wait for it to cool down, which didn't take long in the rain that was falling. Luigi shoulders the flashlight before jumping into the pipe, ending up in an underground portion of Canterlot.

"FLUTTERSHY! Are you all right!" Twilight asks as she and the rest of the girls enter the kitchen to see the girl laughing on the floor with a ghostly translucent dog on top of her, attempting to get the golden bone she was holding in her left hand.
"Fluttershy? What's with the dog?" Rainbow asks the girl as she helps her up off of the floor.
"I-I don't know. I found this weird golden bone in the box of Spike's treats. I was going to ask Twilight about it when I saw the dog." Fluttershy says as the dog tries to jump and get the bone. "I think it's here for the bone." She says as she holds the bone out to the creature. The dog quickly grabs the bone and eats it with one quick gulp. It then jumps up into Fluttershy's arms and gives her a lick to the face.
"You're welcome, friend!"
The dog gives Fluttershy a friendly bark, which no one but Fluttershy was able to understand.
"Why would you want me to let you go? You'd fall."
The dog barks again and Fluttershy lets go of the dog. However, instead of falling, the dog starts to float in place.
"How is it . . . " Twilight is cut off by the dog barking and a knock on the door.
"Coming!" Pinkie says enthusiastically as she skips towards the door and Fluttershy stumble backwards.
"You're a ghost!"
"What!" Everyone else exclaims at what Fluttershy said.
"The dog says it's a ghostly dog named Polterpup." Fluttershy says as she puts her arm through Polterpup's torso and Pinkie Pie returns with a mustachioed man with her.
"Girls! Luigi's here. He's lost his pet."
"Oh my gosh, Luigi!" Fluttershy says, covering her mouth with her hands. "I'll help you look for it! It's the least I can do after you helped me rescue my friends in that haunted mansion." She walks over to him, noticing that he's wearing the Poltergust 5000 on his back, and puts her arm around him. "So what does it look like?"
"You probably won't believe me, but my pet is a ghost dog. Its name is Polterpup."
Polterpup yips upon hearing his name and jumps into Luigi's arms, while Fluttershy and her friends giggle.
"I think we found him." Fluttershy says as Luigi scolds the dog for running away. "He showed up after I found a golden bone."
"So that's why you left. This guy would revive me when I was knocked unconscious on my journey for the Dark Moon pieces as long as I had one of those shiny bones." Luigi says as he scratches Polterpup under the chin. "We should probably let you girls get back to what you were doing." Luigi says as he turns to leave with the Polterpup following at his heels. "Fluttershy, I'll stop by your house tomorrow if you want me to. Polterpup seems to have taken a liking to you." Luigi says to Fluttershy as she and the rest of the girls wave goodbye.
"Vice Principal Luna? Can I talk to you?" The pink skinned girl asks as she enters Luna's empty office. "Huh, I guess she went to restroom." She says as she moves to take a seat before noticing a faint melodic noise emanating from a set of headphones sitting on Luna's desk. She walks over and puts them on, hearing a familiar song.
"Super Mario World?" She asks as she moves to look at the computer screen, seeing Mario moving around on a flat landscape with a title overhead and copyright info at the bottom of the screen, reminiscent of the original title screen. However that's where the similarities ended. The background was bluish black overlay-ed with white pinpricks in various locations, making it resemble the night sky. The ground beneath his feet was a light brown with a green grass-like surface. The title said that the game wasn't Super Mario World, instead calling it Luna Magic. The copyright year was 2016, and it said it was made by TheRealNinjaGirl instead of Nintendo.
"Huh, why does Vice Principal Luna have a ROM hack up?" Pinkie asks herself as she sits down, looks at the bottom of the screen, and pulls the keyboard closer to her. "She's using ZMZ," Pinkie says as she looks toward the door. "I guess I could play this while I wait." Pinkie presses the Escape key and heads to the INPUT section. "Default controls for Player 1," She says as she clicks on a box that says "ALLOW U+D/L+R" before clicking on a tab that said "#2", seeing that there is no input available.
"She doesn't have Player 2's controls set up." Pinkie says as she clicks on a spot that says "KEYBOARD/GAMEPAD" and proceeds to set Player 2's controls to be identical to Player 1's. She then presses Escape until the game resumes, with Mario moving around the title screen again. Pinkie presses the Start key, selects "MARIO A", and chooses "2 PLAYER GAME".
The game starts with Mario on a flat piece of land and a short song starts to play. A text box appears.
"Welcome to Luna Magic! This is a short one-world hack with five levels.

Pinkie reads the message while she waits for the music to finish playing. Once it does, Pinkie presses the 'B' button, which takes her to a screen where Mario is walking up to Luigi, who is standing on an icon that looks like a house. Next to it is a line of four yellow icons, which Pinkie knew indicated that those levels only have one exit, with a castle at the end of the pathway. Pinkie also recognizes the map's background as the same one used for the Special World from the original Super Mario World, except the stars made an image that looked like a moon in the center of the screen, and the Super Famicom icon was noticeably absent.
"The World Map looks pretty good," Pinkie says as she presses 'A' to enter the level icon that Mario and Luigi were on, which was called "Mario's House". It was a simple level that looked like the inside of a house, with a lone Message Block in the center. The Message Block stated that TheRealNinjaGirl made and beta tested the hack. Seeing as how there was nothing else to do, Pinkie used the side exit on the right to exit the level, then moved Mario over to the first official level of the hack, called "Mushroom Plains". It was a simple, yet well made level featuring several enemies, including a Charging Chuck, several Koopa Troopas of various colors, and a few Galoombas, and a couple blocks containing power up. The ground was composed of several elongated Mushrooms. It wasn't too hard for Pinkie. She made it past the level without much trouble. The next level was called "Underground Mozart", and featured the generic lava filled cave setting, complete with Buzzy Beatles, Blarggs, and Swoopers joining the fray. It even had a Skull Raft that Pinkie had to ride on to pass over a large patch of lava. Pinkie quickly beats it and moves onto the next level, called "Haunted Seas". It started out as an ordinary underwater level, complete with Blurps, Cheep Cheeps, Urchins, and Rip Van Fish. She eventually encountered a Whistling Chuck, which woke up all of the Rip Van Fish in the area. It was a nuisance, and Pinkie even got hurt once, causing her to press the Backspace key, which was encoded as her REWIND button. She continued to deal with the aquatic enemies until she reached a pipe that she was forced to enter, which brought her to the haunted portion of the level, which featured Boo Buddies, a Boo Buddy Snake, Eeries, some Circling Boo Buddies, and, after she reached a certain point, Disappearing Boo Buddies.
"I like the placement of the Disappearing Boo Buddies," Pinkie says as she sees a Warp Pipe ahead of Mario. "Those things work better underwater than they do above ground. If the player manages to travel the distance of one screen or more after they appear, then they lose their hit boxes until they despawn. The slower movement speed of Mario or Luigi underwater allows the Boos enough time to despawn without losing they're ability to hurt the player." She says to no one in particular as she enters the pipe, reaching the end of the level.
After she breaks the Goal Tape, the pathway to the next level, named "Bullet Storm", was opened. This level featured Bullet Bills and Banzai Bills, along side the usual Koopas and Galoombas, with several gaps in the ground. Pinkie beat it quickly and moved onto the final stage, called "Reznors' Castle". This castle had several areas to it, each one connected by door. There were Dry Bones, Thwomps, Thwimps, Bony Beatles, Hotheads, Lil' Sparkies, Lava Bubbles, various types of Bowser Statues, and even Fishbones when she reached an underwater portion of the level. There were Spikes on most of the ceiling, some of which would fall when Mario got close to them. Eventually Pinkie made it to the end and found the boss. They were four Reznor sitting on a rotating set of platforms with Pinkie standing on a bridge under them. She had to knock them off by hitting the platforms from underneath. After two were defeated, the bridge started to fall apart, forcing Pinkie to have to jump to the rotating platforms.
After killing all four Reznor, the level was finished, and another pathway appeared above the castle leading to another yellow level icon. This level stated its name was "THANK YOU!". The level was a side exit enabled level with a pipe that would lead to a place where Pinkie could get to choose a color of Yoshi by using one of several other pipes. In the main portion was a place where Pinkie could obtain power-ups, including the Cape Feather, an item that Pinkie had not seen yet. There were two Message Blocks there as well. They thanked the player for playing the hack and explained what the level was meant to be used for.
"You're welcome, Ninja Girl!" Pinkie says as someone forcefully closes the laptop.
"How much did you see?!"
"Vice Principal Luna!"
"I asked you a question. How much did you see?"
"All I saw was the ROM hack you had up."
Luna sighs. "How much of it did you play?"
Pinkie giggles, "Well, you were gone for a long time. I managed to play all of it."
"That's what I feared," Luna walks around the desk and stands next to Pinkie. "How was it?"
"How was what?"
"The hack."
"It was great! It played smoothly, no slowdown or glitching. And the Disappearing Boos placement was wonderful, seeing as how they glitch out if you move to fast."
"I know. That's why I put them there."
"Wait, YOU'RE Ninja Girl!"
Luna sighs. "Yes, I'm Ninja Girl."
Pinkie pulls out a flash drive. "I have "Not a Hard Hack" on this USB drive," Pinkie says pocketing the drive. "To think my vice principal made one of my favorite hacks," Pinkie says, giddily. "So are you going to post it to Super Mario World Central?"
"I will after one slight change." Luna opens the laptop, closes ZMZ, and opens her hack with Lunar Magic. She opens the Overworld Editor and clicks on the icon of a Message Block. She scrolls down until she sees the message where it says who did the beta testing, and changes it. She then opens her internet browser and loads the website for Super Mario World Central, then uploads the hack.
Rainbow is sitting at her computer, playing a game, when the line of text above appears. Next thing she knows, she's in a battle against a brown colored rabbit with a purple bow-tie and buttons on it as a team of four animatronics, consisting of a Golden-brown bear named Fredbear, another golden-brown bear named Nightmare Fredbear, a pitch-black bear named Nightmare, and a slightly decomposed version of the rabbit they're facing called Springtrap.
"Finally! I've been looking for this animatronic for hours!" Rainbow says outloud as she has Springtrap use Springlocks on Spring Bonnie.
"Uh, Rainbow?"
"Yes, Flutters?" Rainbow asks her pink haired friend as she has Nightmare Fredbear use Mega Bite on Spring Bonnie.
"Why do you enjoy playing that game?"
"Because it's an RPG spin-off for one of the best horror series I've ever played."
"But those animatronics are scary! Pinkie once dared me to make it to Night 3 of the first game." Fluttershy says as she shudders. "it wasn't a fun experience."
"Well, just be glad she didn't dare you to do something else." Rainbow says as she switches to her second team, which is composed of Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, and Nightmare Foxy.
"What?"
"Well, remember how Ness told us that his universe is the home of video games?" Rainbow says as Nightmare Foxy uses Hot Cheese 2.
"Yeah."
"Well, that means that there should at least be one Freddy's location there." Rainbow says as Nightmare Freddy uses Freddles.
"Oh no! Do you seriously think she would dare me to spend the night there?"
"I wouldn't put it past Pinkie." Rainbow says as Nightmare Bonnie uses Pizza Wheel 2.
"You wouldn't put what past me?" Pinkie asks as she pops out of Rainbow's closet.
"That y-you'd dare me to s-spend the night at F-Freddy Fazbear's Pizza." Fluttershy says nervously.
"Oh, Fluttershy, I would NEVER dare you to spend the night there-" Pinkie starts to say to comfort her.
"Oh, thank heavens." Fluttershy says, cutting her off.
"I'd dare Rainbow to." Pinkie says, finishing her previous statement.
"That's great, Pinkie." Rainbow says, distracted by her game as her team finally beats Spring Bonnie, which returns her to the map screen with a message that said 'YOU HAVE A NEW PARTY MEMBER!' and she clicks on the 'SAVE' button before turning off her computer and turning to Pinkie Pie. "So why were you hiding in my closet?"
"I was going for the dramatic reveal." Pinkie says giddily.
"Pinkie? You would seriously dare Rainbow to spend a night at Freddy's?" Fluttershy asks Pinkie as Rainbow takes a drink of water. Rainbow gags upon hearing this, causing her to choke on her water.
"What?!"
"I'm serious, Fluttershy," Pinkie says as she and Fluttershy look at Rainbow. "Rainbow Dash, I dare you to spend the night at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza!" She says as Rainbow looks at Fluttershy uncomfortably.

Ness was awoken at 11 PM by someone shaking his shoulder and calling his name. Ness opens his eyes and sees Rainbow standing over him.
"Rainbow?" Ness says groggily. "What are you doing here?"
"I need you to take me somewhere, Ness."
Ness sighs. "I really need to talk to Jeff about creating other entrances for the portal." Ness gets out of bed and pulls out his iconic striped shirt and a pair of denim shorts. "Let me get dressed and I'll take you where you want to go." Ness says as he heads to the bathroom so he could get dressed. Ness returns a minute later and walks over to his sock drawer. "So where am I taking you?" Ness asks as he puts on a pair of shorts.
Rainbow sighs. "I need you to take me to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
Ness looks at her uncomfortably as he starts to put his shoes on. "Why on Earth would you want to go there at this time of night? You do know how dangerous it is."
Rainbow slowly nods. "Pinkie dared me to spend the night there." She says with hesitation in her voice.
Ness sighs as he puts his iconic hat on his head. "Okay, I'll take you there, but I won't be entering the building with you."

At 11:50, Rainbow entered Freddy's Fazbear's Pizza. She passed the animatronics on her way to the office. Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica followed her with their eyes and Foxy peeked at her from his Cove. All of them had the same thought going through their mechanical minds. Bonnie turns to Freddy, and voices said thoughts once Rainbow is out of hearing range.
"What's she doing here? I thought the Pizzeria was closed down."
"I thought so too, Bonnie." Chica says puzzled.
"There must be a reason that she's here." Foxy says from his Cove. "Otherwise she wouldn't be here."
"It doesn't matter why she's here." Freddy says with certainty. "It's been so long, but we FINALLY have something to do." Freddy lets out one of his iconic laughs. "We'll make her rue the day she entered this place!"
-Meanwhile-
Rainbow made it the office and sat down in the chair just as the clock struck twelve.
"Okay, let's get this going." Rainbow says as she pulls up the camera monitor and changes the camera feed to Pirate's Cove. She puts the monitor down and checks both of the doors's lights before she hears Freddy laugh. She closes the office's right door and pulls the camera's monitor back up, checking Pirate Cove before changing the camera feed to display the Show Stage, seeing that Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica have all left the stage. Rainbow decides that to give them a chance and looks for Bonnie. She eventually finds him in the Supply Closet just as she hears a phone ring. She puts the tablet down and opens the right before she answers the phone, putting it on speaker.
"Hello?" She asks as she closes the right door and opens the monitor, changing the feed back to Pirate Cove, which allows her to see Foxy peeking out of the curtain.
"Rainbow?" A familiar voice asks in response.
"Fluttershy?"
"Listen, Rainbow, after you left, I talked to the rest of the girls. We agreed that we had to support you. So we entered the portal and had Ness bring us here." Rainbow changes the camera feed to the various cameras on the outside of the building until saw Ness standing next to her friends from the camera at the front of the building.
"I can see you." Rainbow says as she moves the camera back and forth before turning the camera feed back to Pirate's Cove and sees that Foxy is out and is about to make a mad dash for the office. "Listen, it's not safe to come in here. The animatronics are already trying to kill me." Rainbow's voice starts to break. "I don't want to see any of you getting hurt."
"We ain't goin' in there unless it's absolutely necessary, sugarcube." Applejack says.
"Yeah, Pinkie told us how dangerous it is to be in there at night." Sunset says as Rainbow hears footsteps coming from the East Hallway.
"Just a second, girls." Rainbow says as she checks the light and sees Chica peeking in through the window.
"WHO'S THAT ON THE PHONE!" Chica yells at Rainbow from the window. "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ALONE!" She says before she storms off to find Freddy to let him know about this new development.
"Great!" Rainbow says sarcastically. "Chica knows I'm talking to you girls." Rainbow says as she closes the door and checks the clock, seeing that it says it's now 2 AM. She then checks the cameras and gasps. Pirate Cove's feed was empty. All that was there was a sign that said "IT"S ME!".
"Oh no!" Rainbow yells as she leaps out her chair and dashes for the button to close the West Hallway's door.
"What!"
"Foxy's coming, girls!" She says as she closes the door moments before an audible banging noise can be heard coming from the door.
"We understand, darling." Rarity says over the phone. "Pinkie explained the mechanics of the animatronics to us."
Rainbow opens the door again before she brings the monitor back up and sees Foxy peeking out of Pirate Cove again. She puts the monitor down again and looks at the clock, which gave the time as 3 AM. She then hears Freddy laugh and she pulls the monitor up, looking for him. She checks every camera for about an hour without finding him, although she heard Chica banging pots together in the kitchen and saw that Foxy was out of Pirate Cove again. She eventually checks the West Hall Corner at 4:45 AM and sees that the Freddy poster there was replaced with an image of Golden Freddy, as well as Bonnie standing in the corner. Rainbow puts the monitor down and sees Golden Freddy slumped on the ground before she pulls the monitor back up to make Golden Freddy disappear. The camera feed shows that Bonnie is out of the Corner, so Rainbow puts the monitor back down, closes the door, and checks the light. Sure enough, she could see Bonnie's shadow on the wall when she looked through the window, just before she saw Foxy run past the exact same window. A few moments later, she hears Foxy bang on the door and sees the lights go out overhead.
"Dang it! Girls, I don't think I'll make it out alive."
"Sure you will, Dashie!" Pinkie says as Rainbow starts to tear up. "It's 5 AM! You only have one hour to go!"
"Yeah, but I'm out of power!" Rainbow says just as Freddy appears at the West Hall doorway and starts to play the Toreador March.
"Girls," Rainbow says, starting to cry. "Tell my family I love them."
The last thing the girls heard over the phone was an animatronic screech followed by Rainbow screaming.

"I have to go in there!"
"No, Fluttershy!" Twilight says as Applejack blocks her path to the door. "It's too dangerous!"
"I don't care!" Fluttershy yells as she worms her way past Applejack and grabs the handle. "Rainbow's the most loyal person I've ever known! I'm not going to leave her in there to die!" Fluttershy opens the door and runs inside before the others can stop her.
Fluttershy runs straight for the office in the hope that she could catch the Freddy before they attempted to stuff Rainbow into a suit. She finds the door and enters it to find an empty office. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out the device she had Twilight make for her. It was a small generator, which she turned on before she opened and plugged it into the power box that Ness had found out about through his research. Immediately, the lights in the office turned on and the camera monitor displayed the camera feed for the Show Stage, where Fluttershy could see that Rainbow was unconscious, and was being dragged by Freddy towards the camera to the Backstage. Fluttershy was about to leave the office when she heard a noise, which caused her to flip through every camera until she saw a man with purple skin, purple hair, and a purple security uniform. Fluttershy pulls out her phone and calls Pinkie.
"Pinkie? Could you bring the girls in? There's someone with purple skin in here."
"Oh my gosh! Fluttershy be careful! That's William Afton! He's the one who killed those children years ago."
"Oh m-my!"
"Fluttershy, be careful! We'll be there in a minute!"
"I will be," Fluttershy says as she heads out for the Backstage.

"Did you get her?" Bonnie asks Freddy as he enters the Backstage with the unconscious Rainbow in tow.
"Sure did, Bonnie." Freddy says as he holds Rainbow up for all to see.
"Let's stuff her!" Chica says as she comes forward with a Freddy suit.
Freddy walks forward holding Rainbow in both arms. He lifts her up and is about to push her into the suit when he hears someone yell "NO!" Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Golden Freddy turn to see Fluttershy standing in the doorway.
"Yarr, what be you doing here!" Foxy yells at her.
"I'm here to save my friend!"
"How are you going to do that!" Golden Freddy asks in a voice similar to Freddy's.
"Like this!" Fluttershy says as she gives the animatronics the Stare. Chica, Bonnie and Foxy all cringe while Freddy and Golden Freddy look at each other uncomfortably.
"Look if you'll follow me, you'll find you're real killer."
"Wait, he's here!"
"Yes, Golden," Fluttershy says as she walks out the doorway. "I saw him in the cameras. He was walking past the Restrooms." Fluttershy leads them through the restaurant until she sees her friends standing by the Restrooms.
"Where's our murderer!" Freddy yells at the girls.
"Afton is hiding in a save room back there." Twilight says as the group turns and heads for the room. When they reach the doorway, Freddy tries to enter the door, but finds that he is unable to do so. Upon turning around and walking back to the group, Afton opens the door and jumps out attempting to attack Freddy with an ax. It's then that he sees that Freddy's not alone. Afton runs back into the room as Fluttershy and her friends follow him into the room. They see him start to put on a suit that looks like a golden coloration of Bonnie. After he has it on, he stands up and starts to laugh, until he falls over, writhing and twitching as he appears to be suffering in severe pain. Bonnie and Foxy, having finally been able to enter the room, see that Afton is dying.
"It won't be long till he's dead." Pinkie says to the group.
"What?"
"The Purple Guy dies by putting on a springlock version of Bonnie at the end of the third game," Pinkie says to everyone in the room.
"Freddy?"
Everyone looks over at Chica, who is standing over Freddy, who's is lying on the ground.
"Afton must have done something when he attacked him!" Twilight says as she walks over to him and opens a panel on the back of him. She looks inside Freddy for a moment before turning to the others.
"I think I can fix him! Could someone get me my supplies!"
"Ah'm on it, sugarcube!" Applejack says as she runs out the room.
Twilight starts working on fixing Freddy's programming while she waits.
"What you doin', Twilight?"
"Pinkie, I'm fixing his programming. That way he won't think of us as endoskeletons when he comes back online. I'm also making it so he can move in the daytime." Twilight says as she moves to Golden Freddy, fixing his programming as well before moving on to the others.
"Ah've got your things, Twilight!"
"Thank you, AJ!" Twilight says as she grabs her tools and gets to work on fixing Freddy's mechanical components. It takes a few moments, but eventually Freddy is as good as new. Twilight then picks up her supplies and moves over to Foxy so she can repair him. After fixing Foxy, she moves onto Golden Freddy. After repairing his endoskeleton she walks back over to Freddy and presses a button on his back, just as the clock strikes 6 AM and a familiar set of chimes ring over the PA. The group watches as Freddy slowly gets up, accepting Chica's offered hand.
"What happened?"
"We found our murderer!" Bonnie says, excited. "He tried to hide from us in the Spring Bonnie suit, but the springlocks failed."
"He's dead?" Freddy asks, realization dawning on him as he looks at the clock. "Wait, it's 6:05. Why aren't we heading back to the Show Stage?"
"She fixed our programming," Bonnie says as he points at Twilight.
Ness enters the room with the unconscious Rainbow in tow. "I hate to break this up, but I think we need to get Rainbow to a hospital." Ness says as he gently puts Rainbow on the ground.
Twilight walks over and puts a hand to Rainbow's neck in an attempt to find a pulse. "There's no pulse."
"Follow me," Ness says as he attempts to pick up Rainbow. "I happen to be friends with a great doctor." Ness attempts to put Rainbow over his shoulders when he feels her weight rise off of her shoulders. He looks up to see Freddy carrying Rainbow.
"Let me carry her," Freddy says with concern on evident on his mechanical face. "You just lead the way."

Dr. Mario had seen a lot in the years since he founded the Mushroom Kingdom Hospital years ago. The one thing he had never seen was a group of teenagers follow a group of animatronics through the entrance to the hospital. But that's just what happened when Rainbow was brought through the doorway by Freddy Fazbear at 7 AM.
"Freddy Fazbear? No one's-a heard tale of you since-a 1993."
Ness walks forward and pulls the doctor aside. "Rainbow was spending the night at the pizzeria. Freddy got to her." Ness says as Freddy looks down in shame. "We need you to save her."
"I'll-a see what I can-a do," Dr. Mario says as he turns and starts to lead them to the nearest room. He guides Freddy to put Rainbow down on the bed while Dr. Mario electrifies his hands. "CLEAR!" He yells as he applies his hands to her chest, unleashing the electrical charge that had been built up within his hands into his patient. He then moves over and applies his fingers to the base of Rainbow's neck, checking for a pulse.
"There's still no-a pulse." Dr. Mario says as he electrifies his hands again.
"Dr. Mario? Couldn't you just use a Megavitamin?" Pinkie asks innocently.
"I'm afraid not. She doesn't have a Fever or the Chills, so Megavitamins won't-a work." Dr. Mario says as he applies his electrified hands to Rainbow once more, unleashing the charge into her chest. He checks for a pulse and finds none. So he continues to defibrillate, trying to revive his fading patient for over an hour before he turns to the group standing behind him. "I'm-a sorry, but there's nothing else I can-a do to save her."
Upon hearing this, Fluttershy and Rarity both start to cry while the rest of the group looks upset. Even the animatronics look at each other sadly as Dr. Mario leaves the room and turns to go to his office. The group stands there forlornly until Dr. Mario rushes back into the room, holding a green and white capped mushroom in his hand. He walks over to the deceased Rainbow, opens her mouth, and inserts the mushroom into her mouth. He then closes her mouth and stands back. The group of five animatronics, seven teenagers, and Dr. Mario watch as Rainbow slowly opens her eyes and sits up.
"Ah thought you said there was nothing you could do?" Applejack asks Dr. Mario as he walks over and helps Rainbow up off of the bed.
"I said there was nothing I could do to save her life. So I did the next best thing. I gave her a new life."
"That green mushroom you fed her, it must have been a 1-Up Mushroom." Pinkie says as she realizes what the doctor had done.
"I did," Dr. Mario says as he guides Rainbow to a chair. "Now, I'm sure you're wondering what happened, so I'll leave your friends to fill you in." Dr. Mario turns and leaves the room as Fluttershy starts to tell Rainbow what happened.

"So Freddy brought me here?" Rainbow asks as Fluttershy finishes her account of how Rainbow ended up in the hospital.
"Yeah. I was feeling bad for what I did to you." Freddy says as he walks towards Rainbow.
"After your friends cornered our killer, we knew you were to be trusted." Bonnie says as he steps forward to stand by Freddy.
"And then one of you're friends helped repair us." Foxy says approaching Freddy and Bonnie.
"So we knew we had to help you get better." Chica says standing next to Foxy.
"We're sorry, Rainbow." Golden Freddy says standing behind Freddy.
"Can we be friends? It gets lonely back at that restaurant." Freddy says, offering Rainbow his hand.
Rainbow laughs. "Sure, Freddy," She says as she shakes his hand.
Late one night, a yellow star emerges from the base of the Wondercolt statue, causing it to ripple. Clinging to the star for dear life, was a pink puffball named Kirby. The last thing he knew before he got to Canterlot, he was grabbing a Warpstar that he thought would take him to Dedede's castle. He had been halfway there when the star went haywire, dragging him at full speed away from Dedede's castle and all the way to Ness's bedroom, shattering Ness's window in the process, before the star drug him into Ness's mirror portal. But it appeared that the star was not done yet, going a mile a minute, rounding every corner at neck-breaking speeds (fortunately, Kirby doesn't HAVE a neck) before smashing into the ground at the front porch of a house, shattering in the process.
"Poyo!" Kirby says as he rubs his head. ("The Warpstar's never done THAT before!")
Kirby looks around, and sees that the house has a pet door.
"Poyo." Kirby says, shivering. ("It's unconventional, but at least I can get out of the chilly night air.")
Kirby walks up to the base of the door and tentatively pushes on the flap before entering the apartment. Upon getting inside, his stomach starts grumbling. He immediately starts looking around for something or someone to help him, before he comes across the kitchen. However, everything edible is unobtainable, either being in the fridge or in the cupboards, which he can't reach to open.
"Poyo!" He says as he turns to leave the kitchen. ("I'd better keep looking.")
Kirby eventually manages to find his way into a teenage girl's bedroom after having stumbled around in the dark house for thirty minutes. As soon as he enters the room, he sees something in a cage on the floor at the base of the bed. With his hunger getting the better of him, he runs to the cage and opens it, holding the cage up to his mouth, starting to inhale. He ends up eating everything in the cage, including the unfortunate animal that was sleeping in the cage. Kirby then floats up to the bed, suddenly feeling sleepy from having a full stomach. He lands on the bed, expelling the air he was using to float in the process, then lays on his belly and goes to sleep.

In the morning, the girl was woken up by something poking her cheek.
"Angel, cut it out." She says sleepily as she rolls onto her side. She was just about to fall back to sleep when she felt something poke her cheek again.
"Angel! I don't know how you managed to escape from your cage again, but that doesn't mean you get to wake me up." Fluttershy says groggily as she sits up with her eyes closed. She turns and sees a pink puffball with bunny ears and a bunny's tail standing beside her on the bed.
"Hiiii!"
Fluttershy, startled, falls out of bed, landing on her rear with an audible "oof."
"Who are you! How'd you get in my room!"
"Kirby!"
"You're name's Kirby?" Fluttershy asks. The puffball nods, and is about to say more, but is cut off by a knock at the front door.
"Coming!" Fluttershy says as she walks to the front door, and opens it to find Pinkie and Rainbow there.
"Morning, Fluttershy!" Rainbow says.
"Morning, girls." Fluttershy invites them in. "What's up?"
"Something came through Ness's portal last night." Rainbow says. "Twilight received a message from him through the journal. Apparently it smashed his bedroom window and flew through the portal." Rainbow would have continued, but was cut off by something pulling on her leg. She and Pinkie look down to see Kirby standing there, with an upset look on his face.
"Eyahh!" He says as his belly ripples.
"Uh, Fluttershy?" Pinkie asks after looking at Rainbow.
"Yes."
"Where's Angel?"
"He's in the cage in my room." Fluttershy reaches down and picks Kirby up. "Why?"
"Because Kirby doesn't usually have . . . ears."
"What are you implying?"
"Kirby copies the appearance and abilities of what he eats. And seeing how he has bunny ears . . . "
"It means Kirby ate a rabbit." Rainbow finishes.
Fluttershy, realizing what they just said, runs to her room to find the empty cage before returning to Pinkie and Rainbow, who's talking to someone on the phone.
"Angel's not in his cage!"
"That's because he's inside Kirby!" Pinkie says as Angel kicks Kirby from inside his stomach again, causing Kirby to fall over, groaning in pain.
"Uh, Kirby? Could you please spit Angel out?" Fluttershy asks politely.
Kirby slowly nods before standing up and spitting a star out of his mouth. The star eventually turns into Angel, causing Kirby to lose his bunny ears and tail in the process.
"Okay, Twilight. We'll see you there." Rainbow says, finishing her conversation, before turning to Fluttershy. "I let Twilight know that we found what came through the portal. She and the others are going to meet us at Sugar Cube Corner."
"Okay, let's go!" Pinkie says enthusiastically.
"Uh, Pinkie? Maybe we should let Fluttershy change out of her pajamas first?"
Pinkie turns and notices that Fluttershy is indeed still in her night clothes.
"Yeah, that might be a good idea."

An hour later, Fluttershy and her friends are sitting around a circular table at Sugar Cube Corner, with Kirby, who had already eaten at least 100 cupcakes (everyone had lost count by that point), sitting in the center of the table, eating his second piece of strawberry shortcake.
"Where does that thing put it all? I swear it eats more than Pinkie does!"
"Well, Rarity, Kirby's stomach is rumored to be another dimension," Pinkie explains to her puzzled friend as Kirby finishes the shortcake and reaches for a cookie that was a part of a pile on a plate on the table.
"Poyo!" Kirby says as it puts the cookie in his mouth. It didn't take a translator for the girls to tell that Kirby was saying that he was liking the treats.
"Uh, Flutters?" Pinkie asks tentatively. "I'm glad he likes the treats, but maybe we should get him to stop? The bill's already going to cost me my entire paycheck from Mrs. Cake. Unless if there's someway Kirby can pay off the debt." Upon hearing this, Kirby perks up and runs out of Sugar Cube Corner, headed for the portal.

The group finds him with his face in the portal as a glow seems to be emanating from his skin. The group waits for a few minutes before Kirby pulls his face out of the portal and starts waddling back in the general direction of the cafe. The group, realizing that he's trying to get back there, picks him up and quickly walks back to the eatery.

Back at the eatery, Kirby points toward the kitchen. The group enters and Kirby spits a ton a Waddle Dee out of his mouth as he puts on a chef's hat.
"Cook!" He says as the Waddle Dee and every incomplete pastry in the kitchen gets sucked into a giant pot that appears in front of him as he clangs a frying pan and a spatula together twice before a fire appears below the pot. He starts to season the contents of the pot as he stirs it with a ladle before a bunch of food, mostly cake and other sweets, erupts from the pot and lands on the counter.
"Poyo?" ("Have I paid off my debt?") Kirby asks as the girls look on in shock and Pinkie's mouth drops open. Pinkie quickly attempts to count the sweets.
"I think he's paid off his debt. There's at least 200 desserts here." Pinkie says as she turns back to the girls.
"Now we just need to get him home." Fluttershy says as she picks Kirby up and starts to head to the for the portal.
