Upon returning to Canterlot High after a trip to New York, the TARDIS gets trapped in a temporal schism, causing it to bounce between multiple time periods. With The Doctor trapped in 1991, he must communicate with Twilight over the years.

When the TARDIS arrives at Canterlot High, it gets trapped in a temporal schism, causing it to bounce between three time periods, 1991, 2015, and 2100. The problem is, The TARDIS has no Doctor, just his companions, and The Doctor is trapped in 1991, with no way to communicate with Twilight and Sunset. In order to communicate through the years, The Doctor must put his fate in Canterlot Highs newly appointed principals, Celestia and Luna, to save the TARDIS from falling into the void.

Time Crash

The TARDIS sound always sounded weird to Sunset. It sounded like keys played on piano strings, then played backwards. Weird, yes, but to Sunset, it was just what she thought.

Sunset, Twilight and, The Doctor all were standing around the control console, deciding where, and when, to go. "How about New New York?" The Doctor asked, as he messed with some of the controls.

"No, I was thinking of somewhere familiar." Twilight said.

"Really?" The Doctor asked looking up. "Like what?"

"We could head back to Canterlot High, until we can think of somewhere new to go." Sunset suggested.

"I like that idea." Twilight said. She turned back to The Doctor. "So, what do you think?"

The Doctor sighed. "All right then, if that's what you want." He pulled a few switches, and levers, as the TARDIS began to groan through the time vortex.

When the sound stopped The Doctor scratched the back of his head. "You might want to come back tomorrow." He said.

"Why?" Twilight asked.

"There's a thunderstorm going on at the moment." The Doctor said. "Tomorrow is supposed to have good..." Suddenly, the TARDIS sound started again, and it began to sputter, like it was croaking. It began to shake and rattle, as the three clung to the console.

"What's going on?!" Sunset shouted, over the TARDIS sound.

"Something's interfering with it, we're going back in time!" The Doctor shouted, looking at the screen on the console.

The TARDIS crashed, as if it was a toy being dropped on a hard wood floor. "Where, and when, are we?" Sunset asked, rubbing her head.

"I don't know." The Doctor admitted. He ran to the console, and typed a few things into the keyboard. He groaned, and hit the screen.

"What's wrong?" Twilight asked.

"The controls aren't working, and neither is the scanner." The Doctor responded. He ran to the door, put on his coat, and peeked outside. "Well, it looks like Canterlot High, but..." The Doctor's voice trailed off. The school looked newer, only recently completed. The sky was overcast, and the ground was soggy from rain.

He stepped out of the TARDIS and picked some of the grass, and licked it. "I'd say about nineteen ninety-one. It's July, I think. Good, I like July."

Sunset and Twilight were peeking out the TARDIS door. "I assume this is Canterlot High?" Sunset guessed.

"Probably." The Doctor replied. "It just opened, judging by the look of the building. We've moved in time, but not in space, we are at the exact location we landed at before, we were just sent back twenty years. The question is: why? Why were we sent back here? The TARDIS has gone off course before, but it hasn't just landed and took off again for no reason."

The Doctor walked into the TARDIS, to the console. "We still don't have scanners, but I think I can create a scanner using some of the technology from this era." The Doctor ran outside the TARDIS and looked behind him. He cocked his head the side, in a 'follow me' gesture. "Well, come on." Twilight looked at Sunset, shrugged, and walked to the entrance.

Then the doors shut, and the TARDIS was sent flying into the Time Vortex.

TARDIS Take-Down

Sunset groaned as she stood up. She rubbed the back of her head where it had hit the floor. She walked over to Twilight and helped her up. "You okay?" Sunset asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Twilight said, standing up. "What happened?"

"I don't know." Sunset replied.

"I time distortion hit the TARDIS, and it is now caught in a temporal schism." A voice said.

"That sounded like..." Twilight said.

"The Doctor." Sunset said, nodding.

"I'm on the screen on the console, in case your wondering." The Doctor said. Twilight and Sunset walked over to the console screen, and, sure enough, the Doctor was sitting there, with a TARDIS wall behind him. His glasses were on, and he wore his brown suit, with a dark blue shirt, and a brown and blue stripped tie.

"How are you communicating with us?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, it's simple really." The Doctor explained. "I'm back in the TARDIS, and am transmitting the signal back in time to your timeline using a reverse feedback loop, carried with the power of the Rift, as well as the TARDIS Eye of Harmony, so we can communicate through time."

Sunset and Twilight exchanged a glance of confusion. "Could you explain it in simpler terms?" Twilight asked.

The Doctor rolled his eyes, and signed. "I'm sending a communication link back in time so I can talk to you." He said in a dreary voice.

"But, I didn't think time worked that way." Sunset said.

The Doctor sighed again. "People don't understand time, it's not what you think it is."

"Then what is it?" Twilight asked.

"Complicated." The Doctor replied.

"How complicated?"

"Very complicated."

"Could you try and uncomplicate it?" Sunset asked.

The Doctor thought for a moment, and licked his lips. "People assume that time is a strict progression from cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective, viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey- whimey stuff."

"I think that sentence got away from you." Sunset said.

"It got away from me, yeah." The Doctor said.

"Okay, let me get this straight, you can hear us?" Twilight said.

"Well, I can hear you."

"From the future?"

"Well, not hear you exactly, but I know everything your gonna say."

"How?"

"Look to your left."

Twilight did so, and saw a small camera on the side of the TARDIS wall. "The camera?"

"Yep. I'm watching the footage from it, while sending this transmission back to that time as well."

"Then how did you get it?"

"Oh come on, I'm a time traveler, I got it in the future."

"It's still confusing."

"Wibbly-wobbly, timey-whimey." The Doctor said. "Look what matters is, we can communicate, we have big problems now. The TARDIS is caught in a temporal schism, meaning it's going to jump between three different time periods several times, and then it'll just fall into the void."

"What's the void?" Sunset asked.

"It's the space between dimensions. Each parallel universe is stacked up against each other, the void is the space in between." The Doctor explained. "My people call it the void, the Eternals call it the Howling. But, some people call it Hell."

"So, what do we do?" Twilight asked.

"Well, since we probably don't want to go to Hell, I need you two to follow my instructions." The Doctor said. "First, you'll need a sonic screwdriver."

"But, how do we get one of those?" Twilight asked.

"I was getting to that, thanks." The Doctor replied.

"Sorry."

"If you go to second room on the third floor, you'll find cabinet in the entry way. Open it, and you'll find a toolbox. Inside it is a sonic screwdriver, it looks a bit like this." The Doctor held up a drawing of a of a sonic screwdriver.

"I'll go get it." Sunset said and ran off.

The Doctor turned to Twilight. "All right, so here's what we need to do..."

Canterlot Computers

"1991! How do I contact them from 1991?!" The Doctor was shouting to himself, while pacing in front of Canterlot High. "Let's see, home computers, possibly, but too slow, then again, sonic work, and has advanced memory space. Okay. But, what is the exact date?" The Doctor looked around him, to try and find a newspaper or something, just to find the date.

Then, he saw a woman with long blue, and slightly curly hair. He walked over to her. "Hi, hello, what day is it?"

The woman narrowed her eyes. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine, I just forgot the day." The Doctor said.

"It's Sunday." She replied.

"And the date?"

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes, the date?"

"July eighth, would you like me to tell you the year as well?" The woman asked, with sarcasm.

"No, that is something I do know." The Doctor asked. "Um, what did you say your name was?"

"My name is Luna, I am the Vice Principal of this school." She said, gesturing to Canterlot High.

"Oh, brilliant, I was hoping to enroll my son into this school!" The Doctor lied. "My name is John Smith, and I was hoping to talk to someone about enrolling Johnny into this school!"

"Why this school?" Luna asked.

"Because, Johnny hates his school. He doesn't get along with his piers, so I told him I'd get him into a new school, and here he might be able to get a fresh start."

"Well, we'd be honored if you would accept us."

"Good, could I have a tour?" The Doctor asked.

"Of course." Luna said, and guided him to the school.

The Doctor reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small silver bag. "Would you like a jelly baby?"

"Oh, um, okay." Luna said, and popped one into her mouth.

"I see you've already met my sister, Mr. uh..." Celestia said. "I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."

"Smith, John Smith." The Doctor said. "And, I'm a Doctor actually."

"Really?" Celestia said. "What's your degree?"

"PHD. Jelly baby?"

"No thank you, Doctor Smith." Celestia said. "What would you like to know about our school."

The Doctor grinned. "Computers."

"Very well, if you'll follow me please, I'll take you to the computer lab."

"We have the top notch computers of the day." Celestia explained. "Thus, our students will experience the finest technology available."

"How do you get funding for this?" The Doctor asked.

"We have very powerful parents." Luna replied.

"What does that mean?" The Doctor asked.

"It's a uh... long story." Celestia replied.

"Okay." The Doctor said. "Would you mind if I..." He pointed toward a computer.

"No, not at all." Celestia said.

The Doctor walked to the nearest computer and pressed the power button. It started to boot up. Very slowly. The Doctor got impatient. He pulled his sonic screwdriver out of his jacket and sped the computer up.

"What is that?" Celestia asked.

"Sonic screwdriver." The Doctor said, putting his glasses on. "Let's see." The Doctor started to hack the computer with his screwdriver.

"What are you doing?" Celestia asked.

"Look, I haven't been completely honest with you." The Doctor confessed, turning around. "But, what I am doing could have everlasting repercussions."

"What kind of repercussions?" Luna asked.

"I'm not at liberty to say." The Doctor replied, and turned back to the computer.

"Doctor Smith, may I remind you, I could have the police come here right now, and arrest you on the spot, and detain you for twenty-four hours, at least, so unless you give us answers, that is exactly what I will do." Celestia threatened. There was sheer anger in her voice, and fury in her eyes.

"All right." The Doctor took of his glasses, and threw his trench coat to the side. "You want the truth, fine. But, it will take time to tell."

"We have time." Luna said.

"I don't." The Doctor said.

"Then make the time." Celestia said.

"Very well, you want the truth you'll get it. But, first things first: Are you sitting comfortably?"

Letter from a Friend

"And then fuse the proton inhibitor with the fusion generator." The Doctor finished.

"The what?" Sunset asked, who was under the TARDIS floor, conducting repairs.

"The red sphere, and the blue cube." The Doctor said, rolling his eyes.

Sunset pressed the button on the sonic screwdriver and fused the proton inhibitor with the fusion generator. At least she hoped she did. She wonder how The Doctor was able to conduct repairs on the TARDIS, or how he even knew what, and where everything was. Without instructions, she probably would've sent the TARDIS flying into a black hole, or something.

"Okay, that should do it." The Doctor said.

"Do what?" Twilight asked, as she helped pull Sunset out of the floor.

"Stabilize the landing procedure." The Doctor clarified. "The TARDIS should be landing in modern day, still at Canterlot High. Now, listen, and listen very carefully. Once it lands, you'll only have half an hour to do what I tell you. Are you listening."

"Yes." Sunset said, rubbing dust of her jacket.

"Good. Now, once the TARDIS lands, go straight to Canterlot High, and go into Principal Celestia's office. Don't stop for anything. Nothing at all, you got it?"

"Yes." Twilight confirmed.

"Brilliant. In Celestia's office, you'll get more instructions."

"In Celestia's office?" Sunset asked.

"Yep."

"Are you sure?"

The Doctor eyed them in a 'really' sort of gaze. "Extremely."

"Okay." Twilight said. The TARDIS sound stopped. "We've landed."

"Okay, go now!" The Doctor shouted. The two girls rushed out of the TARDIS, and ran straight to the school. They didn't stop. They just kept running. They entered the school and sprinted to Celestia's office, leaving students wonder what was going on.

They ran into the room, and closed the door behind them. They turned around and saw both Celestia and Luna standing there. "Hello girls, we've been expecting you," Luna said, calmly. "please, take a seat."

The two girls looked at each other, and sat down. "I bet you're wondering what this is about." Celestia said. It wasn't a question.

"Yes, we are." Twilight confirmed.

"Maybe this will explain it." Celestia said, and pulled out a letter from her desk, and handed it to Twilight. It looked fairly old. It was labeled to be given to Twilight and Sunset, on November 23rd 2015, 1:42 p.m. which was apparently today. She looked to see who it was from. It said on it, The Doctor.

"Where, and when did you get this?" Twilight asked, handing the letter to Sunset, so she could examine it.

"The Doctor gave it to us on July eighth 1991." Luna explained. "He gave us a specific date and time to give it to you. And, he was right on the dime."

"But, how did he knew when to give it to us?" Sunset asked.

"He didn't tell us." Celestia said.

Twilight eyed the letter strangely, and then opened it. She unfolded the letter, and read it aloud:

Twilight and Sunset,

If my calculations are correct you will receive this letter before I contact you, and thus, I will give you the instructions that I've already given you, or that you are about to receive. It's a little confusing. Anyway, first things first, once you've read, go to Sunset's apartment, you'll need a piece of fabric, doesn't matter what color, a washcloth, a whisk, a piece of copper wire, a grapefruit, some chips (or French Fries as you call them) and a pickle. Don't ask what they're for, I'll tell you once you're back in the TARDIS. Also, make sure you don't stop. Don't socialize with any of your friends, or stop for chips. I also hope you're not still sitting in Celestia's office reading this letter aloud.

Twilight looked up. "How does he know we're still in here?" Sunset asked.

"He's very perceptive." Twilight replied.

"I'm sorry, but, we've got to go." Sunset said, standing up.

"I know, good luck." Celestia said, and waved them good-bye. Luna did the same.

Once the girls were gone, Luna spoke. "You think they know what's going to happen?"

"No," Celestia admitted. "I just hope they're prepared for it."

As they fast-walked to Sunset's apartment, Twilight continued to read The Doctor's letter aloud:

Chances are after reading that last sentence, you decided to leave Celestia's office and are now en route to Sunset's apartment as we speak, well read, well, whatever. Anyway, These materials will become important later, trust me. I know you want to ask me in person about what they're for, but, as I said, I'll tell you via video back at the TARDIS.

Until then,

The Doctor

"That's it." Twilight said, as they entered Sunset's apartment.

"Really?" Sunset asked.

"Really." Twilight confirmed.

"So, what was it we needed?" Sunset asked.

"Well, first things first, a piece of fabric..." Twilight listed off the items and Sunset grabbed each item accordingly. Once they finished, Sunset put all the items in a bag, and the girls left the apartment.

"How much time do we have left?" Twilight asked.

Sunset checked her watch. She gasped. "Seven minutes."

"We'd better hurry." The girls sped up their walking, to running, and ran into the TARDIS with just thirty seconds left.

"Wait until the very last second, why don't you?" The Doctor said, as they entered. "Oh well, it could be worse, you could've missed it."

The TARDIS took off, as Twilight spoke. "You know, I think we might've been on time if you hadn't sent us on a wild goose chase!"

"Hey, from my point of view, it's already happened!" The Doctor snapped back, pointing a finger at Twilight, which was difficult as he was still on a screen.

"Still, what are the items for?" Twilight asked.

"Okay," The Doctor grabbed a piece of paper and started to list off the items. "The piece of fabric, one of my suit interior is torn, I'll need you to sew it back together. The washcloth, that's for cleaning up any mess you made conducting repairs. The whisk, I needed a new one, Donna broke my old one trying to make eggs. Emphasizing on trying. The copper wire, I'll need you to place that in the conduction circuit of the TARDIS. And the chips are for you when you get hungry."

"What about the grapefruit?" Sunset asked.

"Oh, that's for me." The Doctor said, tossing the grapefruit in the air. "I needed something fresh to eat."

"So, let me get this straight, you sent on a scavenger hunt to get random things you didn't even need?!" Twilight shouted.

"Oi!" The Doctor shouted. "They're not useless. I needed them. The parts needed to fix the TARDIS you'll be able to when the TARDIS lands next."

"And, when is that?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, in about five minutes." The Doctor said, looking at his watch.

"No, I mean, in what time period will we land in next?" Twilight clarified.

"Oh, that's an easy one, 2100."

Making Communications

View Online

"That's quite a story." Celestia said.

"I told you." The Doctor said.

"Yes, you did, but, why should we believe you?" Luna asked.

"Do I look like I'm lying?" The Doctor said, tilting his head.

Luna stared at him for a minute, clearly trying to decide if The Doctor was telling the truth. "No." She said, finally conceding.

"Good!" The Doctor shouted, jumping back to the computer, hacking into it.

"What are you doing?" Celestia asked.

"I'm creating a communication channel to the TARDIS." The Doctor explained. "I have the TARDIS key, so I can pinpoint the temporal signature of the TARDIS, so I can send a communication link to the TARDIS. But, with no webcam..." The Doctor turned to Celestia and Luna. "Do either of you have a camera?"

"Yes, I do." Celestia said. "Do you need it?"

"That was the general point of the question." The Doctor said, and Celestia ran off.

As the Doctor turned back to the computer, Luna walked toward him. "You really care about them, don't you?"

"Yes." The Doctor finished the sentence for her.

"Why" Luna asked, "You've barely met them, and yet, you care so much for them."

The Doctor sighed. "I've had many a companion. They're all special to me. Sarah-Jane Smith, Peri Brown, Rose Tyler... but, I've lost them all. Some left me, some got left behind, and some, not many, but some... died. My granddaughter, Susan, she was very special to me... and I had to say good-bye to her... I...I promised I would go to see her..." Tears began to develop in The Doctor's eyes. "And I never did. These two I travel with now... I can't let anything happen to them. I just can't. And once this whole ordeal is over, I'm going to say good-bye. I put too many people in danger. I should travel alone. It's better that way." The Doctor wiped his eyes, and resumed his work.

"I'm sorry." Luna said, placing a hand on The Doctor's back. "I had no idea."

"No one does."

"I have the camera!" Celestia shouted entering the room.

The Doctor looked up. "Good!" He sprung up and grabbed the camera, carefully examining it. "Perfect!" He shouted. "This'll do brilliantly!" He grabbed the camera and began to connect computer cables to the camera using his screwdriver. He looked up and saw Celestia and Luna standing there. "Um... I don't mean to be blunt, but could you two step out of the room for a bit, this could take a while."

"Okay." Luna said, and pulled her older sister out of the room, as The Doctor continued to work on the computer.

"2100!" Sunset gasped. "Are you sure?"

"Completely." The Doctor confirmed. "This has already happened to me, remember?"

"Oh, right." Twilight said. "So, what do we need?"

"Okay." The Doctor. "Let's see... you'll need..."

"Hello? Hello, can you hear me?!" The Doctor voice was cut off, by The Doctor's voice. The Picture began to go fuzzy, and was replaced with another image of The Doctor."Twilight? Sunset? Are you there?"

"Doctor?" Twilight asked. "You couldn't have waited two minutes?"

The Doctor raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"You were about to tell us what we needed to get in 2100." Twilight said.

"How?" The Doctor asked.

Sunset intervened. "You sent a message to us from the future?"

“I did?"

"Yes." Twilight and Sunset both said at the same time.

"Oh, well, um, I'll cut the link then.” The Doctor said.

"No, don't!"

"Why?"

"Because, you can still tell us what we need."

“No I can't."

"Why not?"

"I don't know what damage has been done to the TARDIS. Therefore, I don't know what needs to be done to it, and frankly, you don't know enough about the TARDIS to tell me what's wrong."

"Oh."

"Like I said, I'm going to switch off now."

"Wait!"

The Doctor rolled his eyes. "What is it now?"

"You need to give Celestia and Luna a letter." Twilight explained. "You give it to them, and then they'll give it to us on November 23rd 2015, 1:42 p.m. It'll take too long to explain what the letter contains, so, do you think we could send you a document of it?"

"I think so, hold on." The Doctor began to type vigorously on the keyboard, checking the communication signature. "Yes! If you send it on a band width of 27.49, on a frequency of 42, you should be able to send me a copy of the letter."

"All right, sending copy...now!"

"Okay, I've got it." The Doctor open the document containing the letter. "I wrote this?"

"Yes, you did."

"What's the grapefruit for?" The Doctor asked.

"You said you were going to eat it later." Sunset said.

"But, a grapefruit? They're a little difficult to eat, aren't they. Oh well, at least it's not a pear. Okay, one thing I thought of: The TARDIS first landed in 2015, and then it'll land in 2100, right?"

"Yes."

"The final destination of a temporal schism is the point of origin, which is right here, right now, well, sort of, well, if is for me, but not for you. Anyway, the final destination will be 1991, where I am, so I'll be able to see you again, and help repair the TARDIS to take it out of the temporal schism."

"So, we'll see you again?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, yes!" The Doctor shouted. "In the meantime, you get what you need in 2100, as the other Doctor will surely tell you, and I'll copy this letter and give it to Celestia and Luna. All right then, see you in a few minutes!" The Doctor switch off the webcam, and the other Doctor from the future reappeared on the screen.

"Let me guess, that was me from the future?" The Doctor asked.

"Yep." Sunset replied.

"Good, now I can tell you exactly what you'll need."

The Escape

"Trans-fibulator?" Twilight asked.

"Check." Sunset replied.

"Plasma converter?"

"Check."

"Particle Emitter?"

"Check."

"Croniton battery?"

"Check."

"Quantum release?"

"Check."

"Bazoolium gage?"

"Check."

"Brilliant, you have all the things I'll need to fix the TARDIS." The Doctor said, appearing on the console screen.

"All the things you'll need?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah. the next place the TARDIS'll be landing is 1991, so I'll be able to fix the TARDIS." The Doctor said.

"Oh, right."

The TARDIS sound resumed, as the cylinder in the middle of the console began to move up and down. "The TARDIS is taking off. I'll see you in 1991, or rather, you'll see me." The Doctor disappeared from the monitor, and the regular blue screen reappeared.

"Let's just hope it works." Twilight mumbled under her breath.

The Doctor finished putting the date on the envelope, and pulled out his sonic screwdriver. He set it to setting 17, and permanently disabled the heavily modified computer. The Doctor ran out the door, and pushed the letter in Celestia's hands. "I need you to give this letter to Twilight and Sunset on this exact date." The Doctor explained, pointing to the date of the back of the letter.

"Why?" Celestia asked.

"I was told to." The Doctor said. "Don't question it, just do as I say." He faintly heard the TARDIS sound in the distance. "Got to go!" The Doctor ran a few meters, stopped and flipped around. "And, thank you. Thank you so much." The Doctor grinned, and ran away.

The Doctor entered the TARDIS as quickly as he could, closing the door behind him. "Twilight? Sunset?"

"Doctor!" Twilight and Sunset each shouted at the sight of The Doctor, and skipped toward him. They each hugged him, as tight as they could, and The Doctor returned the hug.

"It's good to see you." Sunset said.

"It's brilliant to so you too. Both of you." The Doctor grinned. "But, we have a TARDIS to repair." The Doctor tossed his brown coat over one of the coral pillars, and sprinted over to the materials lying on the floor. "Are these what you got?"

"Yep. "

"They should work, but," The Doctor held up the particle emitter, and the quantum release, "what are these for?"

"I don't know, you told us to get them." Twilight said.

"But, why would I need these?" The Doctor asked himself. "Oh, what does it matter? These other things will do." The Doctor knelt down on his knees, and removed one of the metal panels on the floor, and climbed down into the TARDIS's inter workings. He grabbed the plasma converter, and began to fuse it to the TARDIS mainframe, using his sonic screwdriver.

He did the same with the croniton battery, but, while he was attaching the trans-fibulator, he got frustrated with his sonic. "Oh, if only I had another one!"

Sunset reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out the sonic screwdriver The Doctor had instructed her to get earlier. "Will this work?" She asked, handing the screwdriver to The Doctor.

The Doctor grabbed the screwdriver and said, "I didn't know I still had this." The Doctor quickly shrugged off the feeling and attached the trans fibulator to the TARDIS mainframe. He jumped out of the TARDIS's inner workings, and placed the panel back in place. He handed the earlier model of the sonic back to Sunset, and wielded the bazoolium gage to the TARDIS console.

"All right!" The Doctor shouted. "Let's see! Time to get out of the temporal schism! Ready?" He turned to Twilight and Sunset. "You may want to grab something to hold on to."

The girls walked up to the console, and grabbed on to it. "Ready." Twilight said.

"Right then." The Doctor said. "Allons-y!" He pulled on the main lever, and the TARDIS was engulfed by the time vortex, as it began to rattle back and firth in the interior.

"So, how exactly do we escape the temporal schism?" Twilight shouted, over the TARDIS sound.

"I don't know!" The Doctor shouted back. "I've never done it before!" The Doctor pressed more buttons on the console, as the TARDIS proceeded through the time vortex. Suddenly, there was a massive jolt in the TARDIS, causing the three occupant's to almost loose their foothold.

"What was that?!" Sunset shouted.

The Doctor maneuvered over to the display monitor. "Oh no."

"What is it?!" Twilight yelled.

"It's a time fissure!" The Doctor shouted. "A tear in the fabric of reality! It's trying to pull us into the void! This is just a guess, but, I think that in order to escape the temporal schism, we need to escape from the time fissure!"

"Are you sure!?" Twilight yelled.

"No!" The Doctor admitted. "But, it's the best chance we've got!"

"Okay then!" Twilight yelled. "Let's do it!"

A large bell began to ring inside the TARDIS. "The cloister bell!" The Doctor shouted. "This isn't good!" The side lights began to pop and crackle, as the glass shattered away from them, losing all the light inside the TARDIS, the only light now coming from the console. "We're falling in!" The Doctor shouted.

"But, you survived!" Sunset shouted back. "You were able to send us a message from the future!"

"Time can change!" The Doctor shouted. "This isn't a fixed point in time! It can change, and it might!"

"But, what about the extra parts you told us to get?!" Twilight shouted.

The Doctor turned his gaze to the particle emitter and quantum release that were lying on the floor. The Doctor smacked his forehead. "Oh, that's it! That's it! Ha! Oh, I am so clever!" The Doctor shouted.

"What's it!?" Sunset yelled.

"The spare parts!" The Doctor shouted. "I can use them to escape from the time fissure, but, I'm going to need you help! Twilight come here!" The Doctor brought her over to where he was standing at set her hands on a lever. "Hold this down, do not let go! Sunset!" He brought her over to the bicycle pump. "Keep moving this up and down at a steady pace, do not stop! You both know what you need to do?!" The girls both nodded. "Good!" The Doctor ran over to the other pieces of machinery, and set to work, fusing them to the TARDIS's inner workings.

About five minutes later, as the TARDIS was in almost to close of proximity to the time fissure, The Doctor stood up, and rushed over to the front of the console. "All right! I'm ready! The quantum release will ignite the plasma from the plasma converter, and the particle emitter will send a massive jet of energy that should send us flying out of the gravitational pull of the time fissure!"

"I have no idea what you just said, but, let's do it!" Sunset yelled.

"Okay!" The Doctor said, and then shouted as loud a he could, "ALLONS-Y!!!" And he pulled several levers on the console. There was another massive jolt in the TARDIS, as the quantum released plasma into the particle emitter, and the TARDIS was sent soaring away from the time fissure.

The cloister bell ceased, and the TARDIS sound got quieter. The Doctor sighed and then began to laugh, as the TARDIS landed in 2015. The three TARDIS occupants laughed, as it seemed that their ordeal was over.

Until We Meet Again

"We're not done yet." The Doctor said. The three had all repaired the TARDIS, making it similar to how it looked before. The Doctor had switched in to a blue dress shirt, stripped tie, and brown suit, which Twilight said he would be wearing in the message.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked.

"We may have disabled the temporal schism, but it was an artificial one." The Doctor explained. "So, we have to find out where the temporal signature originated from."

"Why?" Sunset asked.

"Because, whoever did this had a lot of power, more power than you could imagine. To tear a hole in the fabric of reality, it's almost unthinkable." The Doctor explained, and walked toward the display monitor. "Let's see," The Doctor pressed several buttons on the console and then said. "It's being traced to a space station in the Orion Nebula. It's looks like a Xavien station, but, that's impossible..."

"Well then, lets get a move on to the Orion Nebula." Twilight said.

"No." The Doctor said.

"No?" Twilight asked, as Sunset walked up beside her.

"I'm going, but you're not." The Doctor replied.

"Why not?"

"People have travelled with me and I've lost them. Lost them all. Never again. I almost lost you both today, I can't let it happen again. I'm letting you go home. Sunset, you go back to Canterlot High, Twilight, you go back to Ponyville."

"No." Twilight said. She walked toward The Doctor. "We're going with you."

"No you're not!" The Doctor shouted in her face. "I can't let it happen. I've lost too much. A long time ago, maybe, but, now? No! Just, no!"

Twilight stepped back. "I'm sorry." The Doctor said. "I'm so sorry. But, I can't let you get hurt."

"I know." Twilight said. She rubbed a tear out of her eye. Sunset patted her back.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay." Sunset said.

"So, what are you going to do?" Twilight asked.

"I'll record the message, and then, go to the space station." The Doctor said. "But, I will tell you this. Something is coming. If I think what is happening is happening, something terrible will happen. Just, a...uh, head up."

Twilight ran over and wrapped her arms around The Doctor. the Doctor wrapped his arms around her. "Until we meet again." He said, and Twilight exited the TARDIS.

Sunset pulled out the sonic screwdriver from her pocket. "I suppose you'll want this back."

"No, no." The Doctor said, shaking his head. "Keep it, you might need it."

"Okay." Sunset said, and placed the screwdriver back in her pocket. "Until next time, Doctor?"

The Doctor smiled. "Until next time." Sunset smiled, and exited the TARDIS doors.

The Doctor sighed, and turned toward the display monitor, and turned on the camera.

It Begins...

The Doctor switched the recorder off. He sighed, and followed the temporal signature to the space station. The TARDIS dematerialized in a small room in the lower decks. The Doctor put on his coat, and walked outside, peeking through the door to check his surroundings.

The room was small and dark, the only light coming from the TARDIS itself. There were no windows, and only one door, which lead to the hallway. He pulled out his sonic screwdriver, and set it to the flashlight function, lighting up the room with the sonic's powerful blue light.

The walls were brown and grey, with dark blue highlights. There had a rhombus design in the room, the walls at an acute angle. The Doctor excited the TARDIS completely, and headed toward the door.

He pressed the button to the right of the door, the sonic in his left hand, and opened the door.

The hallways were just as dark as the room prior, only being illuminated by the sonic's blue light. The only sound that could be heard was the slight buzzing of the sonic, and The Doctor's breathing. There was a lift about thirty yards ahead of The Doctor, and he proceeded to walk toward it.

The lift was inactive, and practically dead. The Doctor used the screwdriver to power up the door, and entered it, and headed toward operations.

The Doctor excited the lift, and shined the sonic through the room. It had the same interior designs as the rest of the station, but, down a small flight of stairs, there was a main console in the middle, with a circular column through the middle of it, transparent with six deactivated lights in it. "Could it be...?” The Doctor mumbled to himself.

He walked down the steps to the console, and began flipping switches. He searched through the controls for a light switch. "Oh, why is there never a big red button?" He asked himself. He felt a switch, which seemed to be a light switch under the console. "Ah-hah!" The Doctor pushed the switch, and several light came on, illuminating the room, with bright white light, while the six lights inside the transparent column shone a dark blue.

"No..." The Doctor skipped over to a screen on the console, throwing off his coat. He pressed more switches on the console, mumbling, "planet of origin" over and over. He found it, quickly, and said the name of the planet aloud. "Gallifrey." He looked up at the ceiling. "It's a TARDIS."

"So, what do you think of my TARDIS, Doctor?" A voice said. It was loud and booming, and very deep. The Doctor turned to see a figure in the corner, where it was still dark, so The Doctor only saw a silhouette. Easily eight feet tall, the figures head was exceptionally large, with the bottom have being an upside-down small triangle, and the top of it being a tall isosceles triangle.

"Who are you?" The Doctor asked, getting to the point.

"Oh, don't you remember?" The figure asked. "I've met you twice before, you've met me three times before."

"I don't understand." The Doctor said.

"Oh, now there's a first." The figure said. "Your previous incarnations were very rude, and very self-obsessed, if you ask me."

"When, and which incarnations?" The Doctor asked.

"Let's see," The figure moved his hand up to what The Doctor thought was his chin. "Oh, two, three, and five."

"Two, three and five..." The Doctor repeated.

"Yes, the first time, or two times for you, was in my antimatter universe."

The look of confusion disappeared off The Doctor's face. "No..."

"The second time was on Gallifrey, I believe, poor old planet, but, I have you to thank for its destruction, if it wasn't gone, well, I could be stopped."

"No..." The Doctor mumbled, stumbling backward. "It can't be..."

"Oh, but it is, Doctor." The figure stepped out of the dark, revealing its green, gold plated robes, and its large golden helmet.

"Omega."

"Yes, Doctor," Omega sneered. "I'm glad to see you remember me." Omega stepped down the stairs slowly, only taking one at a time.

"But, you died!" The Doctor shouted. "You were killed, I was there, and I saw it happen!"

"I've died before, Doctor." Omega said. "But, my will was strong enough. Of course, as you so gracefully pointed out once, my will is all that's left of me, even know. But, I can fix that. I tried this plan once before, but, I failed. Now, however, I have the ability to make that plan work. And, fortunately, you have a good body."

"No, Omega don't!" The Doctor shouted.

"Seize him!" Omega commanded. "I believe you know my army."

There was a flash of light, as several bronze Daleks appeared in the room. "YES, YOUR EMINENCE!" The Daleks said simultaneously. A force field enveloped The Doctor

"What?" The Doctor said. "Daleks don't obey you! They barely even obey Davros! Daleks only obey one thing, other Daleks!"

"True, Doctor, very true." Omega admitted. "But, not my Daleks. Do you know why? Of course you don't. Like I said, my will is my strongest feature, thus, I was able to reprogram the Daleks to obey me, and me only!"

"But, what about this TARDIS? It looks like an old Xavien space-station." The Doctor asked.

"I stole this TARDIS from Gallifrey, during the time war. I travelled back the time the Xaviens were still around, and dematerialized a one of their space stations. So, I broke the Chameleon Circuit, and retained this look. It's rather threatening, isn't it?"

"Omega, why?"

"WHY?!" Omega laughed, and ran straight to The Doctor's face. "Why?! DO you really want to know why? I'll tell you: I help found Time-Lord society, I helped them build the universe as you know it, and what did it get me? I simple pat on the back, saying 'you did a good job' followed my exile, and execution! So, Doctor, I will have my revenge, and with Gallifrey destroyed, there is no one who can stop me!"

"But, what do you want me for?" The Doctor asked.

"Remember that genetic cloning plan I had when I was brought back to Gallifrey?" Omega snickered.

"No..."

"Oh, yes." Omega said. "Daleks, hold him." Omega ran back up the stairs.

"I OBEY!" The Daleks said, and held The Doctor down, with their plunger arms.

"I've had a long time to revamp this plan, and thus, I've done so." Omega pressed several buttons on a side console, activating a laser in the ceiling. "Genetic cloning. I hope you don't mind me looking like you, Doctor, but, it's going to happen anyway Daleks, activate cloning system!"

"CLONING SYSTEM ACTIVATING!" Two orange laser beams shot down from the ceiling, one at The Doctor, the other at Omega.

The Doctor yelled in pain, while Omega laughing in glee. Omega became shorter, and thinner. His helmet became loose on his head, and his voice changed. "Ah!" Omega said, sounding very different. He pulled his helmet off to reveal a face that was not his own, but, rather that of The Doctor's. "Oh, new body. Really skinny. And, the voice, it's astounding!"

The Doctor fell to the floor, shivering with pain.

"I've had plenty of time to study you, Doctor." Omega walked into a small closet. "I've seen you're fashion trends, you're personality, you're choice of companions, and even you're favorite foods. So, I had to draw you in, make you come here, without sending an open invitation. Thus, I set up the temporal schism, and sent your TARDIS flying into the different time periods! I must admit I am rather sad that you didn’t bring your companions though, they would’ve been so welcome here. Instead, they’re going to die, along with everyone else from their worlds.”

“Wh…what do...you…mean?” The Doctor stuttered.

Omega walked out of the closet, wearing a black pinstripe suit, with grey pinstripes, and light grey button-down shirt, and a navy-blue tie. “I’m going to send their worlds into chaos, Doctor.” Omega said, kneeling down to face The Doctor. “What’s going to happen in going to be so terrible, so sad, and so evil, that it almost pains me to do it. Almost.”

Omega stood up, and spoke with a booming voice. “Converge the worlds!!!”

“I OBEY!” The Daleks set their plungers on the inter consoles, as Omega laughed.

Twilight looked out the window into the brilliant blue sky. It looked like it was being ripped apart, and merging with a blood red sky.

Sunset stared out the window, straight at the blood red sky. It looked like it was being ripped apart, and merging with a brilliant blue sky.

“And, so it came to pass,” Omega said, “that the Earth, and Equestria, were no more, and one sole planet existed, and I looked upon it with my new eyes, and thought it good.”

“It’s beginning.” Twilight said.

“It’s beginning.” Sunset said.

“It’s beginning.” The Doctor said.

Omega laughed. “Yes, Doctor, the beginning, of the end.”
