Prologue: Goodbye

Out on the beach in Equestria, Roseluck franticly looking around for the doctor after a dream told her to come to this specific beach, at this specific time, on this specific date. The wind was blowing and the waves going back and fourth like they normally do. Soon there was a noise, a noise Rose could never forget; the sound of the TARDIS. A light brown, with a darker brown maned stallion shadow showed up on the sandy ground.

"Where are you?" Roseluck asked as she faced the shadow.

"Inside the TARDIS." the doctor responded, " There's one little tiny gap in the universe left, just about to close. And it takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around the super nova. I'm burning up a sun just to say goodbye."

Roseluck stared at the shadowy figure of the stallion that took her places, to see the world. The stallion that was always there when she needed him, and let her take the stallion that she loved before him. Rose squinted at him, trying to make out the doctor.

"You look like a ghost." Rose informed.

"Hold on." the doctor responded.

Grabbing his sonic screwdriver, he turned the top to the setting that he wanted. Then raised it to the center of the TARDIS, trying to make his body more clear to her. Which helped a lot. Rose slowly trotted to him and raised her hoof to the doctor's face.

"Can I tou-" Rose asked.

The doctor slightly shook his head, "I'm still just an image. No touch."

Rose stood there frozen, staring at the doctor's realistic looking face, as if she could touch him still no matter what he said.

"Can't you come through properly?" Roseluck asked.

"The whole thing would fracture." the doctor answered, "Two universes would collapse."

"So?"

Rose looked around, like she was upset with him, but inside, she wasn't. The doctor looked at Roseluck, then looked around at the surroundings where she was.

"Where are? Where did the gap come out?" the doctor asked Rose.

"We're in Las Pegasus." Rose answered.

"Las Pegasus right."

"About fifty miles out from the main city."

The doctor nodded, and looked at Rose. She looked at him and started to tear up.

"How long have we got?" Rose asked trying to catch her breath.

"About two minutes." he answered.

Rose put her hoof to her mane, moving it to the side, and smiled a bit.

"I can't think of what to say." Rose responded.

The doctor laughed, Rose smiled a bit, but not enough to stop the tears from coming. The both of them were silent for a long period of time, looking at each other, knowing that this was their last chance to see each other. The doctor looked up and saw Mickey, Mickey Smith.

"You still got Mr. Mickey, then." The doctor mentioned.

"Well, there's five of us now. Mum, Dad, Mickey, and the baby." Rose explained.\

"You're not?"

"No," Rose laughed, "It's mom. She's three months gone, more Tyler's on the way."

"And what about you? Are you-"

Rose nodded her head knowing what he was asking her, "Yeah, I'm back working in the shop."

The doctor nodded his head, still attentively listening to Rose talk, "Oh good for you."

"Shut up..." Rose shook her head, "No I'm not. There's still a Torchwood on this planet. It's open for business. I think I know a thing or two about aliens."

The doctor smiled at his companion, "Rose Tyler, defender of the Earth!"

They were silent again for a period of time.

"You're dead. Officially back home." the doctor broke the silence, "So many ponies died that day and you've gone missing."

Rose's eyes widened, but she knew that she was considered dead there. Running her hoof across her face and mane.

"You're on a list of the dead." the doctor continued, "Here you are, living a life day after day. The one adventure I can never have."

"Am I ever going to see you again?!" Roseluck tried to ask without sounding like she was going to lose her cool.

"You can't."

Rose looked at her hooves; then looked back up at the doctor, "What're you going to do?"

"Oh, I've got the TARDIS. Same old life, last of the Time Lords."

Rose stared at the doctor, sniffing up a big stream of snot that ran down her face, "On your own."

There was a silence again. Rose had just lost it at this point.

"I..." Rose took a deep breath trying to get the words out, "I love you."

The doctor nodded, "Quite right, too."

Rose had tears still streaming down her face, snot streaming along side the tears.

"And I suppose," the doctor continued, "if it's one last chance to say it..."

Derpy Transforms To The Companion...

Time has been cut short, I have to end it now whole I can; Derpy, Sparkler, and Dinky, all three of you are all amazing mares with nothing standing in your ways. All I have to say is to keep going for what you dream, and soon it'll come true. Don't forget about me, as I'll try and not forget about you.

Goodbye my sweet Derpy and family. Thanks for everything.

I love you,

Dr. Whooves

That's all Derpy could remember about the letter that the doctor left her, she was alone now in this cold dark world. She didn't want the doctor to ever leave her behind... But what could she do, what was the way that she could get back to him, without the doctor even knowing that it was really her.

But nothing came to mind, she didn't have the slightest clue on what she could do. Derpy didn't let that thought one little thought keep her away from what she had in the meantime. But as life went on, she could come up with what she could do to be with the one stallion that she wanted to be with again. Derpy went to work at her job as a mail mare, leaving Sparkler and Dinky to get to their schools and move on with their lives.

She knew that it was going to be harder for them to move on, they knew the doctor ever since they were born, well because they were their foals. Crafty Crate, Derpy's boss, nagged at her because she was yet again late. But that argument didn't last long, due to that she couldn't read a clock right due to her crossed eyes.

As Derpy was on her route to deliver her mail for the day, she saw an orange filly paint herself, looking like one of her classmates from a long time ago, Rainbow Dash. Then the idea came to her, Derpy could paint herself another color of another mare, and find the doctor again.

Derpy went home that night and looked in Dinky's room.

"What are you doing Mama?" Dinky asked.

"I'm going to find your father. Sparkler is going to have to take care of you Dinky. I'll be back soon, don't worry." Derpy answered.

"But why?"

"I can't live without the doctor. I want you to live on your life without me. But don't you ever, ever forget me muffin. Promise?"

"I promise."

Derpy grabbed some of the paint that she had floating around in her home, she dumped the paint on herself, styled her mane, hid her wings, switched her eye color, and had Dinky paint her a new cutie mark; making her self look like this...

Derpy even changed her name to Rose, Roseluck Tyler. Derpy left her home, and went to search for the love of her life, the doctor...

This Is The Story Of How I Died

I have always loved my home, planet Earth. That was the place of which I was born, and the place of which I have died. The first nineteen years of my life wasn't all the greatest. Always bullied by other ponies, calling me names because of my crossed eyes, and bubbles cutie mark. And nothing on this planet in my world was never new and exciting, not ever, never.

But that was all before I met a stallion that called himself the doctor. He came to my world not knowing anything about it... Nothing at all. I came to him and explained to him how life was in Ponyville. Then he took me in his ship that he called the TARDIS. He took me around the world, seeing everything that a pony had never seen before. At first, I thought that the whole thing would never have to end... I never did. When he left me the first time, I went to find him and changed my looks, my personality, and my name. I was Roseluck Tyler... I became the doctor's companion again. He never knew that I was the pony that he had his first two foals with, and didn't notice my crossed eyes at times. He didn't even notice that I wasn't Rose, I was Derpy. But I didn't care, I was with him.

"How long are you going to stay with me?" the doctor asked me one time.

"Forever." I answered.

But that was what I thought at that time. I thought that the times that we had together would never end. But things have to end at some point. But then in my life came the army of ghosts...

The came TOURCHWOOD and the war between two very powerful enemies in the time world. That's when it all ended for me and the doctor. This is the story of how I died.

Bring Me My Daughter Doctor!

"I know what you are! DALEKS! All of you are Daleks! I know about the Time War and who was the last of the Daleks to survive! I met that Dalek!" Rose yelled, "I guess you have never heard about a pony that knows all about you, huh?"

"Yeah, Daleks. Time War. Me too." Mickey interrupted.

"Yeah. And me." Rajesh added.

"If you want to know how, then keep us alive. That's all I'm asking. Me and my friends." Rose continued.

There was a silence in the room for a while. The Daleks were surprised at this notion, a pony knew everything about them. Soon one Dalek responded, "You will be necessary."

The Daleks turned around and looked at a screen in the room that all of them were in. Rose, Mickey and Rajesh stood behind them watching all that they were doing. Meanwhile upstairs, the Doctor, Jackie, and Yvonne following the orders of the Cybermares.

"What's down there? She was in that room with the sphere. What's happened to Rose?" Jackie snapped at the doctor.

"I don't know." the doctor responded.

Jackie started to tear up, in fear for her daughter's life.

"I'll find her. I brought you here, I'll get you both out, you and your daughter. Jackie, look at me. Look at me. I promise you. I give you my word." the doctor explained.

Jackie nodded at the doctor and one of the Cybermares went into Yvonne's office. They broadcasted an order to the entire Equestrian world. Soon causing fear and chaos around the area.

All during the chaos, the Daleks sent out one of their things out to explore the place of which they were at. Soon finding a Cybermare in the building, and then declaring war against each other. But as the Daleks and the Cybermares were talking Jackie looked at the doctor and the doctor looked at Jackie.

"Rose said about the Daleks. She was terrified of them." Jackie started to tear up again, "What have they done to her, Doctor? Is she dead?"

"Phone." the doctor blew off Jackie's question.

"What?"

"Phone!"

Jackie handed the doctor the phone and dialed Roseluck. Downstairs, Rose answered her phone just holding it out.

"She's answered. She's alive." the doctor told Jackie, " Why haven't they killed her?"

"Well, don't complain!" Jackie snapped.

"They must need her for something."

We must protect the Genesis Ark. The Daleks kept repeating. And the Doctor heard what they were saying and got confused.

"The Genesis Ark?" the doctor asked.

When the Cybermares asked that the Daleks and themselves should go together and destroy the world together, the Daleks denied them. Soon creating a war within the land. Causing chaos throughout the world.

One Doctor? Now Your Scared?

"Identify him!" one of the Daleks ordered.

"All right, then. If you really want to know, that's the Doctor." Roseluck responded.

All four of the Daleks in the same room with Rose backed away from her, like they were afraid of the doctor.

"Five million Cybermen, easy. One Doctor? Now you're scared." Rose added.

There was a long silence in the room. No one or thing made a sound, the Daleks were afraid, and Rose sounded strong, and Mickey stood there watching.

Upstairs, it wasn't as laid back as it was below. The Cybermares had taken the doctor, Jackie, and Yvonne to what they called, the upgrading room.

"Quarantine the Sphere chamber. Start emergency upgrading. Begin with these personnel." one Cybermare ordered.

Cybermares surrounded Jackie and Yvonne, grabbing them by their hooves and dragging them to the room that they called, "The Upgrade."

"No, you can't do this! We surrendered! We surrendered!" Yvonne yelled.

One of the Cybermares looked at the doctor with it's blank dark eye holes and mouth.

"This one." the Cybermare said, "His increased adrenaline suggests that he has vital Dalek information."

"Stop them! I don't want to go! You promised me! You gave me your word!" Jackie screamed as the Cybermares took her away.

" I demand you leave that woman alone!" The doctor yelled, "I won't help you if you hurt her. Jackie, don't fight. I'll think of something."

All of hell was breaking loose; the Daleks were coming up with their master plan, leaving Rose and Mickey alive to watch. This was seeming too odd for her, she didn't know why the Daleks haven't killed Mickey and/ or her yet. Jackie and Yvonne were getting their upgrades; Yvonne sacrificed herself for the Cybermare way, and Jackie rebelled as best as she could. Even one of the Cybermares tried to get the doctor to become a Cybermare himself. But was stopped by a group of old friends from another dimension.

"Doctor? Good to see you again." Jake greeted.

"Jake?" the doctor asked.

"The Cybermen came through from one world to another, and so did we."

The doctor laughed. Meanwhile, the Cybermares got word that their leader was deleted, and as they were gathering information about it, Jackie snuck out of their grasp and ran down the hall.

In the parallel universe; Jake, Pete, and the doctor were at the parallel TORCHWOOD. The doctor wanted to go back, but Pete was now in charge, not the doctor. He needed to save Jackie, Rose, and Mickey before it was too late.

Back in the real world downstairs TORCHWOOD, Mickey and Rose still stood behind the Daleks, watching them try to destroy the Genesis Ark.

" I could transport out of here, but it only carries one and I'm not leaving you." Mickey mentioned to Rose.

"You'd follow me anywhere. What did I do to you all those years ago?" Rose asked.

"Guess I'm just stupid."

"You're the bravest pony I've ever met."

Mickey looked around, "What about the Doctor?"

"Oh, all right. Bravest Pony." Rose laughed.

"Well, I can't think what the Daleks need with me. I'm nothing to them."

"You could be." Rose thought for a second remembering her first encounter with a Dalek, "Whatever's inside that Ark is waking up, and I've seen this happen before."

"What?" Mickey asked.

"The first time I saw a Dalek, it was broken. It was dying. But I touched it. The moment I did that, I brought it back to life. " Rose continued, " As the Doctor said, when you travel in time in the Tardis, you soak up all this background radiation. It's harmless. It's just there. But in the Time War, the Daleks evolved so they could use it as a power supply."

"I love it when you talk technical." Mickey commented.

"Shut up. If the Daleks have got something inside that thing, and it needs waking up."

"They need you."

"You've traveled in time." Rose snapped, "Either one of us would do."

"But why would they build something they can't open themselves?" Mickey questioned.

"The technology is stolen. The Ark is not of Dalek design!" Dalek Sec said scarcely.

"Then who built it?" Roseluck asked.

Dalek Sec rolled close to Roseluck and Mickey and stared blankly at Roseluck, "The Time Lords. This is all that survives of their Home World."

"What's inside?"

Silence for a long time in the room. The Dalek still looked at Rose with it's eyestalk very still.

"The future." The dalek answered.

Forever? That's Not Going To Happen!

Rose, Doctor, Pete, Mickey, Jackie, and Jake were in the lever room of TOURCHWOOD as the Daleks and Cybermares were fighting and taking over Equestria.

"We haven't got time to argue. The plan works. We're going. You too. All of us." Pete snapped at Rose.

"No, I'm not leaving here." Rose argued, "Not again."

"I'm not going without her." Jackie snapped immediately.

"Oh, my Celestia. We're going!" Pete groaned.

"I've had twenty years without you, so button it. I'm not leaving her!"

"You've got to." Rose told Jackie.

"Well, that's tough." Jackie argued.

"Mum." Roseluck sighed, "I've had a life with you for nineteen years, but then I met the Doctor, and all the things I've seen him do for me, for you, for all of us. For the whole stupid planet and every planet out there. He does it alone, mum. But not anymore, because now he's got me."

The doctor placed a yellow medallion around Rose's neck and Pete pressed the button which took them to the alternate world.

"What're you?!" Rose tried to say before they were taken to the alternate world.

In the alternate TOURCHWOOD, Rose narrowed her eyes, "Oh no, you don't. He's not doing that to me again."

Roseluck pushed the button on the medallion and transported herself back to TOURCHWOOD.

* * *

The doctor turned around and saw Roseluck standing there awaiting an order.

"Once the breach collapses, that's it. You will never be able to see her again. Your own mother!" the doctor snapped.

" I made my choice a long time ago, and I'm never going to leave you." Rose responded, "So what can I do to help?"

The doctor smiled, "Those coordinates over there, set them all at six. And hurry up. "

As the doctor and Roseluck got set up to pull the levers of the gap hole for the alternate universe where all the Dalek's and the Cybermare's came from. Soon coming up the stairs, Cybermares opened the door.

"We've got Cybermen on the way up!" Rose exclaimed.

"How many floors down?" the doctor asked.

"Just one."

"Levers operational." the computer said.

"That's more like it. Bit of a smile. The old team." Rose said.

The doctor and Rose got ready to send them back. Rose pressed a red button that would send the Daleks and the Cybermares back. Holding onto the Magnaclamp Rose and the doctor watched multitudes of Daleks and Cybermares fly by their heads and into the hole in the universe.

But, soon as it was getting close to be over, the lever on Roseluck's side where her Magnaclamp was started to move, slowing down the suction. Rose let go of the Magnaclamp and held onto the lever, moving it up, locking it into place.

"Rose, hold on! Hold on!" the doctor yelled.

Rose held onto the lever, feeling her whole body being lifted off the ground. Rose's fur was pulling back, revealing some of Derpy's grey fur, but unnoticeable to the doctor, watching Roseluck being pulled towards the hole.

"ROSE!" the doctor screamed as she was being lured to the hole.

Soon, Pete came out of the blue, grabbed Rose. They sat there for a second. Rose looked at the doctor showing her yellow crossed eyes to him.

Derpy?

There was a silence again. Rose had just lost it at this point.

"I..." Rose took a deep breath trying to get the words out, "I love you."

The doctor nodded, "Quite right, too."

Rose had tears still streaming down her face, snot streaming along side the tears.

"And I suppose," the doctor continued, "if it's one last chance to say it..."

"Wait Doctor, you have a little more time. I have something to tell you..." Roseluck interrupted.

"Hurry up Rose, I don't have much time."

"Rose" wiped her hoof across her face, body, and eyes revealing her grey fur, crossed eyes, and wings. The doctor's eyes widened as he saw the grey mare standing as a hologram in front of him.

"Derpy?" the doctor asked, "Is that you?"

"Yes doctor." Derpy responded.

"Where's Roseluck?"

"There was never a Rose, I was Roseluck the whole time. I got your letter and I didn't want to lose you. This was the only way I could see you again doctor."

The doctor smiled, but then it disappeared after a while.

"What about Dinky and Sparkler?" the doctor asked.

"I told them that I would be leaving and never return." Derpy answered.

The doctor didn't respond.

"Many ponies didn't like me, their lives would have been better without me." Derpy added.

"I have to go Derpy, I just want to say this." The doctor paused for a second, "Derpy Hooves..."

He disappeared into thin air and didn't come back. Derpy teared up and started to cry. She was happy to see the doctor but this was the last time that she would ever see him, even her two doctors.

Thank you Doctor, for another chance in the TARDIS and the many adventures. I'll miss you. I'll wait for you here in this universe, maybe I'll see you again.

Derpy turned around and looked at Jackie, Pete, and Mickey. She trotted up to them and hugged them. And started to walk away. Mickey followed Derpy to wherever she was going, leaving Jackie and Pete to themselves. They didn't follow her or Mickey, they went on their own way. Mickey and Derpy went on as a warrior, protecting the universe from Daleks, Cybermares, the OOD, and other villains that came to their world and tried to take over.
