It's been a year when Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack got married and now they have return to cantralot with their children
It's been a year when Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack got married and now they have return to cantralot with their children Appleheart and Starynight Sparkle but when a new enemy comes it's up to them along with the princesses, and the rest of the mane six to stop him.
It was a wonderful day in Equestria and everypony in Canterlot were waiting for the return of Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack. And it wasn't long until a golden carriage was coming down the road and everypony followed it to Canterlot Castle. In the carriage Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack were enjoying their ride back to Canterlot.
"Oh wow I can't believe that we are finally back home." Said Twilight.
"Yes and we all have a special surprise for everypony and that is for them to see our kids." Said Chris.
"This is going to be the best reunion ever." Said Mark.
"I couldn't agree more sugarcube." Said Applejack.
Meanwhile at Canterlot Castle Celestia along with her sister Luna and her daughter Starlight also along with the rest of the main six, Shining Armor, Cadence, Spike, and Big Macintosh were waiting for the arrival of Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack when a celestial guard came in.
"Ah Sky welcome and what brings you here today?" Asked Celestia.
Sky looked at the princesses, to the ponies, and to the dragon with a smile on his face.
"I came here to tell you all that Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack are coming."
When he said this everypony and dragon had their mouths hanging open.
"WHAT?!" They all said together.
"It's true I heard they are on their way here right now."
"Well what are we waiting for? Lets go and welcome them back home." Said Rainbow.
"Yeah lets go." Said Pinkie Pie.
Before anypony could stop her Pinkie was already out the big royal doors of the castle.
"Geez I tell yeah that pony is on something." Said Shining Armor.
And everypony laughed as they set off to welcome home Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack. As they arrived outside the palace they saw the chariot that was caring Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack.
"They're here, they're here!!" Said Pinkie Pie excitedly.
"Yeah and I can't believe that it's been a year since we last saw them." Said Rarity.
"Well they're here now so let's greet them." Said Starlight.
As the chariot door open everypony saw Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack come out and smiled and cheered at them with their return to Canterlot. Just then Celestia came up to them with a big smile on her muzzle.
"Welcome back my little ponies it is great to see you four again." She said.
Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack bowed to the Princess of the sun.
"And it's great to see you again too Celestia." Said Twilight.
Just then three young ponies came up to the four.
"Sis, Twilight, Chris, Mark it's great to see you all again." Said one of the fillies who was Applejack's sister Applebloom.
"Applebloom it's great to see you again to little sis." Said Applejack.
Then she noticed something on her sisters flank it was an apple with a paint brush on it.
"Applebloom is that a cutie mark I see?" Asked Applejack.
"Yeah it appeared like a month ago and that's not all Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell also got their cutie mark like a week ago."
"Wow that's great congrats on getting your cutie marks you three." Said Twilight.
"Thanks Twilight." They said together.
Just then everypony heard a voice shouting.
"Twilight!!!!"
Twilight knew who it was.
"Cadence!!!!" She said as she put down her saddle bag and ran up to her former foal sitter.
"Sunshine, sunshine ladybugs awake clap your hooves and do a little shake."
"Oh Twilight I missed you. How have you been?"
"I've been great Cadence and I've missed you too."
Then Big Mac came up to his sister.
"Hello sis."
"Big Mac I've missed you." Said Applejack as she hugged the big red stallion.
"And I've missed you too."
Just then everypony saw something moving in Twilight and Applejack's saddlebags.
"Hey what's in your guys saddlebags?" Asked Pinkie.
Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack looked at each other and said as everypony looked at them with desperation.
"Well we'll tell you all in the palace cause when you find out it will cause a celebration." Said Mark.
"Very well come on my little ponies let's go in the palace." Said Celestia.
While in the palace everypony looked at Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack as they took out what was in their saddlebags.
"Everypony we would like you to meet our children." Said Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack together.
In Applejack's hooves she was holding a pegasus colt with golden fur and blue and white mane. And in Twilight's hooves was a mare alicorn with blue fur with silver mane and tail.
"Awwww they are so cute. What are their names?" Asked Rainbow.
"Their names are Appleheart and Starynight Sparkle." Said Chris.
"Those are great names for the little darlings." Said Rarity.
Just then there was a flash of light and there stood Discord the god of chaos and Chrysalis the former queen of the changelings.
"Discord, Chrysalis what are you two doing here? Asked Luna.
"Well Luna you see we over heard everypony saying that Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack were coming home so we decided to come and welcome them home." Said Chrysalis.
"I see well would you two care to stay for the party?" Asked Luna.
"We would love to stay for the party princess." Said Discord.
Then he noticed the children in Twilight and Applejack's hooves.
"Oh how sweet you two have children now. Could I hold the little darlings?" He asked.
Twilight and Applejack both hesitated for a bit until they saw Chris and Mark nod in agreement.
"Ok Discord but please becarful with them they're just babies." Said Applejack.
Discord smiled at the farm pony and said.
"Don't worry my dear Applejack I promise that I will be gentle like a little butterfly."
And then with a snap of his fingers the babies were teleported from Twilight and Applejack's hooves to Discords arms.
"Awwww they are so cute you four must be so proud." Said Chrysalis.
"Yes we are Chrysalis, and how have you been ever since I changed you? Asked Chris.
"Oh it's been great for me and hopefully I can find my very own special somepony some day."
Than as gentile as a flower Discord put the babies back in Twilight and Applejack's saddlebags suddenly Pinkie chimed in.
"Well come on everypony let's get this party started."
"YEAH!!!!" They all said.
Then Starlight turned to Chris.
"Chris would you mind if you would get this party started?" She asked.
Chris looked up at the Princess and smiled.
"I would be happy to do it princess after all my cutie mark is singing after all." He said as he got up to the stage.
But before he was going to sing everypony was running around the ballroom to get a dancing partner. Even Discord and Chrysalis were trying to find somepony to dance with but after everypony was done running like crazy to get a dancing partner only Discord and Chrysalis were without dancing partners. Then Discord caught a glimpse of Fluttershy just sitting at one of the tables alone and Chrysalis caught a glimpse of Sky talking to the other royal guards with stars in their eyes they set off to ask them to dance. Fluttershy looked at everypony getting ready to dance to one of Chris' songs when she saw Discord walking towards her Fluttershy could feel her heart racing.
"Hello there Fluttershy." Discord said.
"Oh um h....hi there Discord." The timid pegasus said a little nervous.
Discord fumbled his thumbs for a while until he popped the question.
"Um Fluttershy would you like to dance with me?"
After hearing this Fluttershy blushed hard and then she held her hoof out and said.
"Yes I would love to dance with you Discord."
Meanwhile Chrysalis and Sky were talking to each other when they saw Fluttershy and Discord heading to the dance floor. Seeing it was now or never Chrysalis looked at the stallion in his silver blue eyes and said.
"Um Sky would you like to dance with me?"
Sky looked at Chrysalis and said.
"I would love to dance with you Chrysalis."
As they went to the dance floor Chris started to speak.
"Alright everypony if everypony has a dancing partner let's begin."
And with that he began to sing.
(I Knew I Loved You By Savage Garden Starts To Play.)
As he finished his song everypony stopped dancing and hit their hooves on the ground while Spike and Discord clapped their claws together.
"Thank you, thank you everypony now for my next song I have dedicated this one for my dearest wife Twilight Sparkle." Said Chris
As he said that everypony in the ballroom said.
"Awwwwww."
That made Chris and Twilight who was sitting at one of the tables in front of the stage blush and then after a few moments Chris broke out of his blush as he began to sing his next song.
As the song ended everypony cheered so loudly that Chris had to cover his ears with his hooves. When the cheers died down he could finally speak.
"Ok wow you ponies almost made me deaf up here ok now if you all liked that then what about this one?"
But just as Chris was getting ready to sing another song the palace started to shake.
"Hey what's happening?" Asked Twilight.
Everypony started to panic and run in every direction.
"Everypony relax it's just an earthquake:" Said Luna.
Then Celestia stepped forward.
"Something tells me this is no earthquake sister."
Suddenly black smoke broke through one of the palaces glass windows and snatched up Appleheart and Starynight who were still in Applejack and Twilight's saddlebags.
"APPLEHEART!!!!" Shouted Applejack.
"STARYNIGHT!!!!" Shouted Twilight.
Just then the smoke cleared to reveal a unicorn with purple fur, purple and black mane his tail was pure black he also had dragon like eyes and fangs.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! A PARTY!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Laughed the unicorn evilly.
Luna and Celestia couldn't believe who they were seeing.
"Oh no Sombra's crazy brother." Said Luna.
"I haven't missed the cake and ice cream have I?" Asked the unicorn with Appleheart and Starynight still in his magic.
"Shadowflames." Said Celestia as her horn glowed and ready to attack the unicorn and then she said.
"Surrender the babies or I'll..." But before she could finish Shadowflames stopped her.
"Uh, uh, uh, uh." He said as he kissed the children on the head then he continued to speak.
"You know my dear brother Sombra would've loved to come but something came up. Now, now what was it? Let me think here oh yes you all destroyed him. One minute your on top the next minute your dust.
Then Shadowflames appeared beside Fluttershy and said.
"Now is that fair my dear I ask you?"
Just then Discord then came up to the unicorn and knocked him away from Fluttershy.
"Don't you ever touch her again." Said the god of chaos.
"OOH touchy oh well whoever said we have to play fair uh? Oh Blackfangs."
Just a soon he said that a black dragon broke though the wall of the palace.
"Make way you little pony shrimp I'm coming though." He said in a deep voice.
Just then Shadowflames turned back into smoke except for his head and started to levitate Appleheart and Starynight over Blackfangs massive jaws and then he started to speak again.
"Now give me Equestria or these kids are dragon food."
Everypony gasped as Shadowflames started to lower Appleheart and Starynight towards Blackfangs massive jaws until Celestia Shouted.
"Shadowflames stop."
At this Shadowflames stopped lowering Appleheart and Starynight and looked at Celestia as she continued.
"You can have anything you want Shadowflames just, just please don't harm little Appleheart and little Starynight please."
After hearing that Shadowflames smiled a big toothy smile and said.
"Well, well I get Equestria, avenge my poor brother Sombra and gain all unlimited power and it's not even ten o clock yet hmm not a bad morning."
Then Twilight saw one of the broken pillars on the ground and she had an idea she used her magic to lift the pillar and then she through it at Shadowflames head when Chris saw this he realized that the pillar was in his and everyponies way.
"EVERYPONY HIT THE DECK!!!!" He shouted as he ducked down just as the pillar went past him and other ponies and then it hit Shadowflames with a laud thud.
As the pillar hit Shadowflames his magic let go of Appleheart and Starynight and right towards Blackfangs jaws everypony gasped as Chris and Mark started to head towards their children before they were killed by Blackfangs. As Appleheart and Starynight got closer and closer to Blackfangs jaws Celestia hit him with her magic and with aloud. "YIPE." From Blackfangs he turn into a baby dragon as Chris grabbed Starynight as Mark grabbed Appleheart. Applejack and Twilight ran towards their lovers and their children.
"Oh Starynight." Said Twilight as she came up to Chris and held her little one in her hooves.
"Oh Mark is Appleheart ok?" Applejack asked.
"Yes Applejack he is fine." He said.
Then Blackfangs looked at himself from a piece of glass from a broken window.
"Wha.....what have you done to me? Look at me, I'm a baby dragon again."
Just then Shadowflames started to leave.
"This isn't over Celestia I will have Equestria sooner or later."
"GUARDS AFTER HIM!!!!" Celestia shouted
"Yes your majesty." They said as they headed towards the unicorn and the black baby dragon.
But just as they where about to get Shadowflames and the dragon they disappeared but they heared Shadowflames parting words.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You fools will never find me but I'll find you and the children too. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
Celestia looked at everypony and shouted.
"WE SHALL NOT REST UNTIL THAT DEMON PONY IS VANQUISHED!! FIND HIM, FIND HIM!!!!"
The next day in Ponyville at Golden Oak Library Luna, Starlight, and Celestia were talking to Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack about Shadowflames.
"We are sorry my little ponies we've searched every where but there is no sign of him." Said Celestia.
Then Starlight stepped forward.
"But don't worry we will keep looking."
Just then Chris stepped forward.
"Um princesses may I say something?"
"Yes Chris what is it?" Asked Luna.
"Um well me, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack were thinking that we should stay at Canterlot Castle until Shadowflames is captured or destroyed."
"I see." Said Celestia.
"And you all agreed to this?" She asked.
The four ponies all nodded in agreement.
"Very well then but first."
Celestia turned and faced her daughter.
"Starlight you will watch over the children while they are at Canterlot until we get Shadowflames."
Starlight was shocked.
"Me? But mother I don't think I'm ready for that kind of responsibility yet."
Celestia just smiled and hugged her daughter and then said.
"My dearest Starlight of course you're ready for this. If you weren't I would've had Luna or I do it but I've decided that you should do it."
After a moment of thinking Starlight looked up at her mother and smiled.
"Well mom if you think that I can do it then I'll try. I will protect the children with my life."
Just then there was a flash of light and everypony covered their eyes and when the light dimed they reopened their eyes and they all gasped on what they saw. There on Starlight's flank was a shield she had finally gotten her cutie mark, the mark of a protector.
"Starlight you got your cutie mark." Said Luna.
Starlight didn't say anything she just stared at her flank for a few sounds and then she finally said.
"I, I can't believe it I've got my cutie mark."
"Congrats princess." Said Mark.
"Yes well done sugarcube." Said Applejack.
Just then Twilight spoke up.
"Ok if we are done here I think we should get going."
"Your right Twilight let's get Spike and the kids to go to Canterlot." Said Chris.
And so after getting their belongings, Spike, Appleheart, and Starynight they set off to Canterlot.
It has been twelve years since Chris, Twilight, Mark, Applejack, and Spike took the children to Canterlot to protect them from Shadowflames and thanks to Shining Armor's magic he put a magical barrier around the castle the same barrier he used during his and Cadence's wedding. It was another day at the castle but something was missing a curtain young pegasus and Applejack was looking around the castle for him.
"Oh for the love of apples where is that child of mine at?" Applejack asked herself as she looked all over the palace for her child Appleheart.
As she was looking all over the palace she noticed Starynight playing in the hallway with one of the Celestial guards.
"Auntie Applejack." Starynight said running up to her and hugging her neck.
"Hey there kiddo do you know where Appleheart is?" Asked Applejack.
Starynight looked at Applejack and then said to her aunt.
"I'm sorry auntie Applejack the last time I seen him was in his room."
*Sigh* "It's ok sugarcube I'll just keep on looking but if you see him come get me."
Starynight smiled at her auntie and said.
"Ok auntie Applejack bye."
And with that Applejack set off to keep looking for Appleheart. Next she went to the royal kitchen there she saw the chef putting the finishing touches of Starynight and Appleheart's birthday cake.
"Hey Chef Andre Hooves have you seen Appleheart anywhere?"
Chef Andre looked at the farm pony and just shook his head.
"I'm sorry madam but I haven't seen him anywhere but his and little Starynight's cake has twelve protégé candles."
Applejack just smiled at him.
"Ok then chef I'll just go and see if the princesses has seen him."
"Very well miss Apple see you soon."
After that Applejack went to see the princesses. When she got there she was stopped by two of the royal guards.
"Halt who goes there?" Asked one of them.
"I'm sorry it's Applejack and I was wondering if I could talk to the princesses to see if they saw my son Appleheart anywhere?"
The guards looked at one another and back at Applejack.
"Very well miss Applejack you can see the princesses."
Then the royal guards opened the throne room doors and Applejack went inside.
"Ah Applejack it's so good to see you and what brings you here on this fine day?" Asked Celestia.
"Well princesses I came here to see if you knew where Appleheart is?"
Just then Luna stepped forward.
"Oh our dear Applejack of course we know where little Appleheart is. He is with Starlight outside in the royal gardens oh and they are also with Chris and Mark."
"Oh thank you princesses."
And with that Applejack gave a quick bow and set off to the royal gardens. Meanwhile in the royal gardens Appleheart and Starlight along with Chris and Mark were picking flowers.
"Hey dad and uncle Chris will mom and auntie Twilight will love these flowers?" Appleheart asked.
Chris and Mark looked at the flowers and smiled.
"Of course son I'm sure that mom and Twilight will love them." Said Mark.
"That's right kiddo now why don't you stay here with Starlight and pick some more flowers for them and we will put the ones that you found in a vase?" Asked Chris.
Appleheart looked at his uncle and smiled.
"Ok uncle Chris."
And with that he and Starlight went to fine some more flowers for Applejack and Twilight. As Appleheart and Starlight was looking for some more flowers for Applejack and Twilight. Starlight could see that the little pegasus looked troubled.
"Appleheart what's wrong?" She asked.
Appleheart snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Starlight.
"Oh it's nothing Starlight I'm fine."
But Starlight knew that Appleheart was not fine.
"Child listen I know that there is something troubling you so please talk to me."
Appleheart sighed and then looked back up at Starlight.
"Ok Starlight it's like this. How come dad, uncle Chris, auntie Twilight, and Starynight are alicorns and I am not?" He asked.
Starlight looked at Appleheart and saw that he felt left out so she walked to him and hugged him.
"Oh sweet heart I'm sorry you felt left out but if it makes you feel better your mother isn't an alicorn."
"I know Starlight but all my life I dreamt of being an alicorn so I can fly and use magic."
Just then they heard Applejack in the distance.
"Appleheart, Appleheart where are you?"
"We're over here Applejack." Said Starlight.
A few seconds later Applejack saw Appleheart and Starlight in the middle of the royal gardens.
"Hi mom."
"Hello my child are you having fun with Starlight?" Applejack asked.
"Yes I am mom I even got some flowers for you and for auntie Twilight."
"Awwww well that is very generous of you to do that for me and for Twilight now I know why me and your dad decided to name you Appleheart."
"Thank you mom."Appleheart said with a big smile on his face.
"Well come on son it's time that we get you ready for yours and Starynight's birthday party."
As Applejack said this Appleheart jumped up and down and rushed passed his mother to the castle. When Appleheart left Applejack and Starlight looked at each other and laughed. But meanwhile in the land of the dragons Shadowflames was trying to turn Blackfangs into his grown up dragon form.
"Don't worry Blackfangs this time I know I've got it right." He said.
But Blackfangs just looked at his master and shook his head and said.
"That's what you said the last time and I was sore for two weeks."
"Oh just stop your complaining and just hold still."
"Oh man this is gonna hurt and I don't mean that in a good way."
Just then Shadowflames' horn started to glow green and then he fired the beam of energy at Blackfangs. As the beam of green energy hit the black dragon he started to change back to his grown up form.
"Yes, yes it's working." Shadowflames cheered.
Just then Blackfangs started to feel strange.
"Uh Oh." He said.
Suddenly there was a quick flash of white light and when it dimmed Shadowflames didn't see the dragon but he did see a black pony mare with a scowl on her face. With a growl Shadowflames fired up his horn again this time it went to a reddish glow and then he fired the beam of energy at Blackfangs again and this time the black dragon was turn into a butterfly. With a face hoof Shadowflames continued to try to get Blackfangs to normal so he fired up his horn one last time and this time his horn glowed a pure black color and then fired at the now Blackfangs butterfly. Then as the dark magical energy made contact to Blackfangs he turned back into a baby dragon much to the dismay of Shadowflames, then with a sigh he said.
"Oh it's just no use Celestia's magic is just too powerful for me to over come."
Then he slumped down in his thrown made by dead dragon parts. As for Blackfangs, he turn around with his arms crossed and said in a quiet voice thinking that Shadowflames wouldn't hear him.
"I bet Sombra could've done it better."
Just then Shadowflames raised up his head and turned around and said in his big deep voice.
"What was that you said Blackfangs?"
"Nothing boss I'm just saying...."
Blackfangs never got to finish is sentence cause suddenly Shadowflames levitated a stone statue and threw it at the black dragon but Blackfangs dodged it just in time as the statue shattered in to smithereens as it hit the wall right be hind him and then Shadowflames shouted at the black dragon.
"STOP CRITICIZING ME, THAT'S ALL MY FATHER DID WAS CRITICIZE ME, I MEAN IT WAS ALWAYS SOMBRA THIS, OR SOMBRA THAT, OR SHADOWFLAMES WHY COULDN'T YOU BE MORE LIKE YOUR BROTHER SOMBRA!!!!" Shadowflames shouted as he fired an energy beam at a picture of Sombra and destroyed it.
"WELL IT'S NOT SOMBRA'S FAULT THAT I WAS TURNED INTO A BABY DRAGON AGAIN IT'S YOURS!!" Shouted Blackfangs
"IT IS NOT!!!!"
"OH YES IT IS AND IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT WE HAD TO HIDE OUT HERE FOR TWELVE BUCKING YEARS."
"IT IS NOT!!!!"
"OH AND THAT'S NOT ALL IT"S ALSO YOUR FAULT THAT YOU SAID WE WOULD NEVER SHOW ARE FACES IN SOCIETY AGAIN."
After hearing that, Shadowflames went up to him and went nose to nose with the black dragon.
"You know what your really pushing it small fry."
As the two glared at each other a dim light shown right next to them, they looked and saw that it was Shadowflames crystal ball. When they looked at it, it was showing an image of Applejack, Mark, Chris, and Twilight getting their children ready for their birthday party.
"Well, well, well Blackfangs look what we have here?" Shadowflames asked.
"Hey those are the young brats that you were trying to feed me." Said Blackfangs.
Then Shadowflames put a hoof on the black dragons mouth.
"Shhhh listen you fool." Said the unicorn as Appleheart started to talk into the crystal.
"And that's the whole story." Appleheart side.
"I see but son why in Equestria would you want to be an alicorn when you are still immortal?" Asked Mark.
"I know I'm immortal dad but I just want to know what it's like to use magic and I wanted the ponies that teased me to respect me."
"Oh cousin you don't have to be an alicorn to please other ponies just be yourself and we all love you just the way you are." Said Starynight.
Appleheart looked at Starynight and smiled.
"Yeah your right cousin I guess, I guess I never gave it any thought."
Just then Twilight came up to the little pegasus and put a hoof on his shoulders.
"Hey listen little guy I know that someponies are mean to other ponies but if you just don't let their teasing get to you then they will leave you alone."
With those words Appleheart hugged his aunt and cried.
*Sniff* "Th....thank you a....auntie Twi....Twilight."
Twilight just looked at the crying pegasus and smiled.
"Your welcome Appleheart."
Just then the images in the crystal disappeared.
"So that little runt of a pegasus wants to be a alicorn huh? Well then let's give it to him."
After hearing what his master just said Blackfangs looked at him in disbelief.
"What, what are you saying master?"
"Think of it Blackfangs. Do you remember the legend of the book of shadows?"
"Well yes I do but what's that have to do with it?"
Just then the black dragon's eyes went wide.
"Oh now I see what your saying."
Shadowflames then nodded at him.
"Yes my dragon friend the only way that we can get that book is if an innocent child can get it for us." Said Shadowflames with an evil grin on his muzzle, then he pulled Blackfangs closer to him and said.
"Now Blackfangs listen up I want you to go to Canterlot Castle and wait for Appleheart to come out and then you bring him to me."
"Yes I understand master but if I know the princesses they probably have a magical barrier on the castle so no evil ponies or monsters can get in."
"Yes I know. Well then just wait until he comes out of the barrier himself."
Then Blackfangs bowed at Shadowflames and said.
"Yes master and when we get that book we will be the most powerful beings on Equestria."
And with that the black dragon set off for Canterlot Castle. As soon as Blackfangs left Shadowflames turned to his crystal and made it reveal Appleheart again.
"Don't worry Appleheart I will make your dream come true and then when I do and when I get that book I will destroy you and your family too HAHAHAHAAHA!!!!"
And with that he vanished in a cloud smoke.
Canterlot Castle That night.
"Well this is it everypony." Said Twilight.
"Yeah it's mine and Appleheart's birthday." Said Starynight.
"Yeah and I can't believe that we are twelve years old." Said Appleheart.
Just then the four ponies and one dragon saw some familiar faces at the entrance to the ball room.
"Well I don't believe it." Said Spike.
"Hey there Twilight, Chris, Starynight, Mark, Applejack, Appleheart, and Spike." Said Fluttershy.
"HA Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie pie you guys made it." Said Chris.
"But of course darling we would've missed our niece and nephew's birthday party and we also brought our fiancés." Said Rarity.
As soon as Rarity said that everypony started to cheer for them everypony except for Spike.
"Hey guys I'm going to see if they need help in the ballroom." Said Spike.
"Ok Spike see you in there." said Twilight.
And with that Spike headed in the ballroom but not before he shed a small tear that no pony noticed excepted for Chris.
"Hey Rarity can I talk to you in private please?" Asked Chris.
"Ok Chris we'll be right back guys." Said Rarity.
After that Rarity and Chris went to one of the rooms in the place to talk.
"Rarity we need to talk about Spike."
When Rarity heard this she was shocked.
"Why Chris is there something wrong with my little Spikey Wikey?" She Asked.
"No its not that I just want to know if you were leading him on all these years."
Now Rarity knew what this was about."
"No Chris I never meant to lead him on like I did and when I found my special somepony I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was."
"I see, man I wish we could make him happy again."
The two ponies thought for a moment then Rarity got an idea.
"Hey I've got it."
"What, what do you have in mind Rarity?" Asked Chris.
"Well I know somepony who has a crush on little Spikey Wikey."
"Really who?" Asked Chris.
"My sister Sweetie Bell."
When Chris heard this he jumped.
"Sweetie Bell really?"
"Yes really you see two months ago I heard Sweetie bell crying in her room and I was about to see what was the mater until I heard her say this."
The Carousel Boutique Two months ago.
Rarity was finishing up a dress for an important client until she heard somepony crying.
("Sweetie Bell? I wonder why she's crying?") She asked herself.
She decided to go up to Sweetie Bell's room and see what was wrong. As Rarity came closer to Sweetie Bell's room she could hear her sisters crying getting louder and louder. And when she got to her room she was about to go in until she heard her talking to herself.
"Oh Spike I wish I could be with you at Canterlot and tell you how I feel about you but when I come to the ball two months from now I will tell you how I feel and maybe we can be together forever."
With that she put the picture of Spike up on her desk right beside her bed and went unhappily to sleep.
Canterlot Castle present time.
"And then after that I went back down stairs and finished my work for my special client but I still was sad to hear my little sister crying like that."
After Rarity had finished Chris had his mouth on the floor.
"Wow I had no idea. We have got to get those two together."
"Oh yes I do agree darling but how do we do it?" Asked Rarity.
"Now you just leave that up to me." Said Chris.
"What are you gonna do Chris?"
"Well I'm gonna go in the ballroom and tell him that Sweetie Bell loves him, then I'll tell him that when a slow song comes on go up to her and ask her to dance and then we'll see what happens then."
Rarity looked a Chris and nodded.
"Ok then let's go and put my plain into action." Said Chris.
And with that they set of to the ballroom to rejoin their friends and family.
As Chris and Rarity were coming back to the ballroom entrance a brown stallion with a blue mane and tail with a badge on his flank was coming up to them.
"Ah Rarity there you are I've been looking all over for you dear." He said.
"Oh I'm sorry Sherriff Strongheart I was talking to my friend Chris Thunder here." Said Rarity.
Strongheart looked behind Rarity and saw Chris. Then with a smile he said to the alicorn.
"Ah Chris Thunder it's nice to finally meet you, Rarity has told me so much about you." He said putting a hoof out to him.
Chris looked at Strongheart's hoof and smiled.
"And it's nice to meet you too Strongheart I've heard so much about you too." He said as he shook Strongheart's hoof.
Strongheart nodded and then he looked at Rarity.
"Well my dear Rarity everypony is in the ballroom so I think we should head in."
Rarity smiled.
"Very well my love."
As soon as she said that Chris' mouth went all the way to the floor.
"What? Rarity you mean to tell me that this is your fiancé?"
Strongheart looked at Chris then to Rarity.
"You mean you never told him about us?" He asked.
Rarity just smiled and just shrugged her shoulders.
"Well anyway." Strongheart continued.
"It was very nice to finally meet you Chris Thunder."
Chris smiled and said.
"Thanks Sheriff Strongheart and it was very nice to meet you too."
And with that the two unicorns and the one alicorn went in the ballroom. As the three went in the ballroom Chris saw Spike with his head down on one of the tables. As Chris saw this he decided to go and talk to him so he left Rarity and Strongheart headed to the table where Spike was sitting. Spike was mopping after finding out that Rarity had a fiancé it made him sad and defeated then he heard a voice right next to him.
"Hey Spike what's up?"
Spike looked up and saw Chris smiling at him.
"Oh hey Chris."
"So Spike what's with the long face?" Asked Chris.
"Well Chris it's Rarity."
"I know I met her fiancé."
Just then they saw Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Bell coming in the ballroom.
"You know I do know somepony else who likes you." Chris said with a smirk on his face.
After hearing this Spike jumped out of his chair.
"Really, who?" He asked.
Chris then pointed to a table where Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Bell were sitting. Spike looked at Chris in disbelief.
"Really one of the cutie mark crusaders likes me?"
"Yup that's right my friend." Said Chris.
"But witch one?" Spike asked.
"Sweetie Bell."
Spike jumped again after hearing this.
"What? Sweetie Bell likes me?"
"Yup that's right."
"But how do you know this Chris?"
"Rarity told me. She said that when she was fixing up a dress for a client she over heard Sweetie Bell confessing her love to you while she was holding a picture of you."
After Spike heard this he went into a blush of crimson red.
"W.....wow I didn't know she was like that around me." Said Spike.
Chris just smiled and put a hoof on his shoulders.
"Well now you know, and now just go up to her and talk to her? I mean you haven't seen her for like twelve years."
Spike looked up at Chris and smiled.
"Ok Chris and thanks."
With that Spike got off the chair and started to walk toward Sweetie Bell and the others.
("Go get her Spike.") Chris said to himself.
Just then he felt a hoof on his shoulder as he turned around he saw Twilight standing there.
"Oh hey Twilight."
"So what did you tell Spike." She asked.
"Oh nothing just giving him some pointers on how to get somepony." He said pointing at the purple dragon walking toward Sweetie Bell.
Meanwhile Sweetie was talking to Applebloom and Scootaloo when she saw Spike coming toward them.
"Oh no girls Spikes coming this way." Sweetie Bell said as she hid underneath the table.
Oh come on Sweetie Bell your not getting cold hooves now are you?" Asked Applebloom.
Sweetie Bell came out from under the table and shook her head.
"No it's just I have never seen him for twelve years and I don't know what to say to him."
Scootaloo put a hoof on her friends shoulder and said.
"Just talk to him and tell him how you feel Sweetie that's all you got to do. Now if you don't mind Bell we'll leave you two alone."
With that Scootaloo and Applebloom got up and left the table just as Spike came to the table and sat right next to Sweetie Bell. They just sat there for a minute or two until Spike broke the silence.
"Hey uh Sweetie Bell?"
"Yes Spike?"
"Before you say anything else I've got something to ask you."
"Ok Spike lets hear it."
"Alright um Sweetie Bell? Do you love me?"
When Sweetie Bell heard this her eyes went wide.
"How, how did you know?" She asked.
"Well Chris told me that Rarity over heard you in your room talking to a picture of me saying that you love me." Explained Spike.
When Sweetie Bell heard this she put her head on the table.
"Oh I thought I put a sound proof spell on the door.
"Well I guess you didn't." Said Spike.
And then they both laughed, just then before they could say anything else Fluttershy and her husband Discord came up to them.
"Um hi Spike and Sweetie Bell." Said Fluttershy.
Hey Fluttershy what's up?" Asked Spike.
"Um well me and Discord were talking and well we would like to know if you could be the pianist for our song that we are going to sing tonight?"
Spike looked at the timid pegasus and smiled.
"Of course I will Fluttershy."
As he said that Discord spoke up.
"Oh thank you my dear Spike and here is something so you could look more like a pianist."
With that he snapped his fingers and spike was standing there with a black suit on and on his head was a black top hat.
"Wow thanks Discord."
"Oh you are so much welcome Spike now we should get going to the stage the princesses are about to speak."
With that Discord along with Fluttershy and Spike headed for the stage. When Spike was out of site Sweetie Bell sat back down on her chair and smiled.
"I can't believe it, I did it, I finally found my special somepony, or in this case somedragon."
Just then everypony fell silent when Princess Celestia, Luna, and Starlight came up on stage and started to speak.
"Ok my little ponies settle down." Celestia said raising her hoof up.
Everypony stopped what they were doing to look at the princesses.
"Thank you everypony for coming here on this fine night as we celebrate the 12th birthday of Prince Appleheart and Princess Starynight Sparkle.
Hearing this everypony cheered and pounded their hooves on the grown. Then Princess Luna stepped forward and silenced the crowd and then she started to speak.
"Further more first we also have someponies sing for us and then the party will begin."
"So enjoy yourselves as we begin the celebration of Appleheart and Starynight's birthday with Fluttershy and Discord singing Something Fantastic." Starlight chimed in.
Everypony clapped and cheered as the princesses left the stage and Fluttershy and Discord along with Spike entered the stage.
"Hello everypony in case you don't know me I'm Discord the god of chaos and this is my wife Fluttershy."
"Um thank you discord, now everypony enjoy yourselves as we sing oh and happy birthday to Appleheart and Starynight." The timid pegasus said.
Then Spike stretched out his claws and began playing on the piano.

As the song ended Fluttershy, Discord and Spike took a bow and then everypony started to cheer.
"Thank you everypony now me and Discord would like for Pinkie Pie to come up stage please." Said Fluttershy.
After hearing her name Pinkie got up from her chair and started to bounce toward the stage. When she got to the stage Fluttershy moved the mic to her and then she and Discord left the stage.
"Hi everypony, Pinkie Pie here, and tonight I'll be singing a song that I just made up." She said as she hit the mic with her hoof to see if everypony could hear here.
Just as she finished Rainbow Dash face hoofed and said.
"Oh no I wonder what crazy song she made up this time?"
Just then she felt a hoof on her shoulder, and when she turned around she saw her husband Soarin standing right next to her.
"Don't worry Dash she makes up the greatest songs ever and tonight I'm sure it will be no different."
After that She looked at him and nodded, as Pinky Pie started to sing.

As she finished everypony cheered witch made Pinkie Pie Smile Wide.
"Ha-ha thank you everypony now may I introduce you to the next singer for this special day, please give it up for Rarity's sister Sweetie Bell."
As soon as Pinkie Pie finished everypony cheered for Sweetie Bell to come up on stage.
"Well here we go and I think I should have somepony sing with me, or should I say somedragon." She said to herself.
As Sweetie Bell went to the stage she was wondering what song could she and Spike sing together? Until it hit her when she sang at the talent show she and Spike sang a song together that Chris suggest them to do together and that's when she got her cutie mark.
"Yes that's it oh Sweetie Bell your such a genus." She said to herself.
As Sweetie Bell came to the stage and hit the mic the crowd of ponies fell silent to let her speak.
"Hello everypony I know all of you are enjoying yourselves tonight, now before we get started I would like somepony to come up and do this song with me. Because we did this one along time ago at my schools talent show and I would like for him to come and sing it with me.
Then Sweetie Bell pointed her hoof at the young dragon who was sitting where Twilight and Chris was and said.
"So Spike would you be so kind as to come up here and sing with me please?"
As soon as Sweetie Bell said that Spikes' ears perked up and he started to blush until Chris put a hoof around his shoulder.
"Go on Spike your marefriend is waiting and she needs you."
Spike sighed.
"I don't know Chris what if I screw up?"
"You won't I promise." He said.
Just then Twilight spoke up.
"Chris is right Spike you will be fine now go on and sing with your now marefriend."
Spike looked at Twilight and with a little smile he got up from the table and started towards the stage with everypony clapping their hooves together. As Spike got to the stage he looked at Sweetie Bell and Sweetie Bell looked at him.
As they finish they looked into each others eyes and then they kissed making everypony cheer. Then after they broke the kiss and headed off the stage the princesses stepped forward.
"Thank you Sweetie Bell and Spike that was a great song that you two sang together." Said Celestia.
"Now for the final performance for tonight here is Chris Thunder." Said Luna.
As Chris made his way to the stage everypony in the ballroom clapped and cheered.
"Well everypony I know that you are all here enjoying yourselves and also after this song that I will be doing, the party will really get started for my daughter Starynight and my nephew Appleheart."
After saying that everypony clapped and cheered for the prince and princess of the Thunder family until Chris put his hoof up to silence the crowd.
"Alright everypony here is the last song of the night until the party starts so I would like to dedicate this song to my love of my life Twilight Sparkle."
After he said that everypony clapped as the song started to play.

After the music ended everypony cheered and cried with that song that Chris sang for his wife Twilight Sparkle. Just then Starlight came up to Chris and said.
"That was the best song I've ever heard Chris."
Chris looked at the princess and then he bowed.
"Thank you so much Princess Starlight." He said happily.
As Chris left the stage Starlight said.
"Now everypony let the celebration of Starynight and Appleheart's birthday."
With that Vinyl Scratch came up to the dj and put a record on it. With that done the party began with ponies dancing, playing games like pin the tail on the pony, and just to talking to one another. Even Starynight and Appleheart where enjoying themselves then the came up to their parents saying to them.
"THIS IS THE BEST PARTY EVER THANKS MOM, THANKS DAD." They said together.
Before Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack could say anything they went off to dance to the music that was playing. As Chris, Twilight, Mark, and Applejack were watching their kids Fluttershy came up to them and said.
"It looks like the kids are enjoying themselves."
"Yes they are sugarcube, yes they are." Said Applejack.
After a few hours of partying the last of the guest left and Appleheart was in his bed when he thought he could hear somepony outside. "Hmmmm, wonder who that could be?" He thought to himself.
So without another word he got up and snuck out of the palace toward the sound of the voice, and it wasn't long until he found the source of the voice, there in the bushes was a black baby dragon.
"Why hello there young dragon, where did you come from?" Appleheart asked.
"Oh I come from the land of the dragons, you see I was flying back home with my friend here." He said pointing at the red dragon right beside him.
"Just then he got a cramp in his wing and we landed here but I got caught in these bushes. So could you help me out of here please?" He asked.
Appleheart looked at the dragon and smiled.
"Of course I'll help you out of there." He said as he pulled and pulled the braches of the bush until the little dragon was free.
"Thanks, oh by the way I'm Blackfangs. What's yours kid?" Asked the baby dragon.
"Oh I'm sorry my name is Appleheart."
"Well Appleheart since you helped me out of those bushes I will grant you one wish." Said Blackfangs.
Appleheart looked at the dragon in amazement.
"You mean you can grant wishes?" He asked.
"Well no but my master Shadowflames does."
"And he can grant any wish that I want?"Asked Appleheart.
"Haha of course kid he is very powerful he can do anything. So what do you say?" Asked Blackfangs.
"Alright I'll go with you to see the Shadowflames."
With that the red dragon laid down so that Appleheart and Blackfangs could get on. When they were on the red dragon it spred it's wings and headed for the land of the dragons.
As the red dragon arrived at the land of the dragons Blackfangs turned to see Appleheart asleep.
"Appleheart? Wake up we're here at the land of the dragons," said the black baby dragon.
As Appleheart opened his eyes he could see every single dragon watching them.
"So this is the land of the dragons?" He asked.
"Yes Applehart, this is mine and Shadowflame's home," said Blackfangs.
Applehart couldn't believe all of the dragons he was seeing, their were red dragons, blue dragons, yellow dragons, purple dragons and even black dragons. Just then the red dragon that he and Blackfangs were on, he started to land in front of a entrance to a cave.
"Um Blackfangs, why are we at this cave entrance?" Asked Appleheart.
"Cause my friend, this is where me and my master lives," said the black baby dragon.
With that Blackfangs got off of the red dragon's back and went inside of the cave.
"Hey wait for me," said Appleheart, as he followed the dragon into the cave.
Once inside the cave Appleheart looked around and saw pictures of a unicorn with purple fur, purple and black mane his tail was pure black he also had dragon like eyes and fangs.
"So I'm guessing that this is your master in these pictures Blackfangs?" Appleheart asked.
"That's right young one," said a dark voice, that made Appleheart jump.
"Don't be scared young one, my name is Shadowflames and I know why your here."
"You, you do?" Asked Appleheart.
"Yes, you are here so I can grant you your wish. To be an alicorn," said Shadowflames.
Appleheart could not believe what Shadowflames just said.
"Why yes that's right, but how did you know that?" He asked.
"I've been watching you young Appleheart, and I couldn't help but hear you say that you wanted to be an alicorn just like your father, your cousin, your uncle, and your aunt," said Shadowflames.
"Why yes that's right, so can you help me to become an alicorn?" Asked Appleheart.
"Yes I can, but unfortionitly it will only be temporary unless....."
Shadowflames was about to continue but Appleheart interrupted him.
"Unless what? Please tell me, what ever it is I can do it," he pleaded to the black unicorn.
"Well my young friend I could make the spell last longer if I had my magic book," said Shadowflames, as he showed Appleheart the image of the book.
"So what do I need to do to get that book for you?" Asked Appleheart.
Shadowflames smiled at Appleheart and said.
"All you need to do is to go to the frozen north, there you will find the book, but be carful because there's lots of dangerous creatures there."
"Don't worry about me, I'll be carful," said Appleheart, but then he asked.
"But wait a minute why can't you or Blackfangs get the book?"
"Because along time ago an evil pony placed a curse on the book, only a pure hearted child like you Appleheart can get it," Shadowflames said.
"Ok then Shadowflames, I'll do it," said Appleheart.
"Very well then young one, but first it's time for me to fill my promise to you," said Shadowflames, as he charged up his horn.
As Shadowflames' horn glowed, Appleheart was engulfed in it's magic.
("Oh this is it, finally I'm going to be an alicorn.") Appleheart said, to himself.
Then as Shadowflames' magic vanished over him, Appleheart felt more powerful the he did as a pegasus.
"There you go young one, you are now an alicorn," said Shadowflames, as he made a mirror for to look at his new self.
Once Appleheart saw his reflection in the mirror, his eyes opened wide.
"I, I can't believe it, I'm an alicorn," he said happily.
"HAHA SAY IT LOUD, SAY IT PROUD HAHAHA!!!!" Said Shadowflames.
"Thank you so much Shadowflames," said Appleheart, as he hugged the unicorn.
"Your welcome my boy, now go back to Canterlot and get something warm to put on, cause it will be cold up there in the frozen north," said Shadowflames.
"You got it and I will make sure that my family and friends don't see me," Appleheart said, as he stated to leave the cave.
"Oh hold on my boy," Shadowflames said, making Appleheart stop in his tracks.
"Here put this cloak on, that way no pony will see or recognize you."
With that Appleheart put the cloak on and then put the hood over his head.
"There you go, now you will have no worries going though town now," said Shadowflames.
"Ok thank you Shadowflames and thank you Blackfangs for bringing me here," said Appleheart.
"Oh your welcome kid, now go get that book so you can be an alicorn forever," said Blackfangs.
With that Applehart left the cave and flew back to Canterlot, after he left Shadowflames and Blackfangs laughed.
"Oh boss we did it, he fell for it," said Blackfangs.
"Yes, and when we get that book no pony, not even Celestia can stop me, oh it feels so good to be bad HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Said Shadowflames.

Meanwhile back in Canterlot Applejack just got up from her long needed sleep and went to wake up her son.

"Appleheart? It's time to wake up surgarcube."
When Appleheart didn't answer her, she got worried.
"Appleheart? Stop playing around it's time to wake up."
When there was still no answer from her son Applejack opened the door, and when she did she saw that Appleheart was not in his room.
"What the? Appleheart where are you?"
Applejack then went off galloping as fast as she could towards hers and Mark's room and then she barged right in waking Mark up.
"Applejack what's wrong?" He asked sleepily.
"Mark, Appleheart is not in his room, his gone."
"What? come on let's go and tell the princesses," Mark said, as he and Applejack went to see the princesses.
As Applejack and Mark headed to the princesses quarters they ran into Twilight and Chris.
"Whoa you two, where's the fire?" Asked Chris.
"Chris, Twilight we've got trouble," said Mark.
"Trouble? What kind of trouble Mark?" Asked Twilight.
"Well when I went to wake Appleheart up today he was not in his room," said Applejack.
"WHAT!?" Shouted Chris and Twilight together.
Just then they heard Celestia behind them.
"Did I hear that little Appleheart is gone?"
"Yes Celestia, please we've got to find him," said Applejack, as she started to cry.
"Now, now don't worry my little pony we will find him," said Celestia.
With that she called her guards and they came running up to her.
"You summed us your majesty?" Asked one.
"Yes I did, prince Appleheart has gone missing, I want you all with Applejack, Mark, Twilight, and Chris to try to find him."
With that the guards saluted and they set off with Applejack, Mark, Twilight, and Chris right be hind them as Celestia went to tell Luna and Starlight.
As Appleheart arrived back at Canterlot he saw Celestia's guards with flyers saying have you seen prince Appleheart.
(Oh great, my family must have sent the guards to try to find me, well all I have to do is to make sure they don't recognize me in this cloak.) Appleheart said to himself.
Just then one of the guards approached him and said.
"Excuse me stranger, have you seen this pony?" He asked.
Appleheart looked at his own picture and then in a deep voice he said.
"No, uh sorry I have not seen that pony sir."
"Very well but just to let you know there is a huge reward if any pony can find him," said the guard as he trotted away.
("Men that was close.") Appleheart sighed with relief.
Just then he heard a mare screaming in a dark ally and went to investigate. When Appleheart saw the mare he saw her getting hurt by a couple of ruff looking ponies.
"Hey, get off of her now," shouted Appleheart.
The two ponies stopped and looked at Appleheart.
"HAHAHA!!!! Well look what we've got here Pete, another pony to beat up."
"Yeah Rollin, let's teach him to not interfere in our business."
"Look guys I don't want any trouble here, just leave that poor mare alone alright or else I'm gonna have to hurt you two," said Appleheart.
Hearing that Pete and Rollin laughed.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Did you here that Pete?" Asked Rollin.
"Yeah Rollin, this runt thinks that he can stop us," said Pete.
"Well then come on Pete, let's show him that he can't tell us what to do."
As Pete and Rollin trotted towards Appleheart, he just shook his head and decided to give them a taste of his new alicorn magic.
"Well I tried to be nice, but I can see that you guys want to do this the hard way," he said, as he charged up his horn.
Then before Pete and Rollin could land a punch on Appleheart they suddenly got lifted off the ground.
"Hey put us down you punk," said Rollin.
Just as he said that Appleheart smiled underneath his hood.
"You two want down? Ok I'll put you two down."
With that he released his magic on them and they went down to the ground hard. As Pete and Rollin got up they saw Appleheart coming towards them.
"Now I advise you two should leave if you want to take another ride."
With that Pete and Rollin both trotted away as fast as they could, then Appleheart turned his attention to the mare. She was a black unicorn with a blue mane and tail, her cutie mark was a heart, her eyes where a beautiful shade of purple.
"Are you alright miss?" Asked Appleheart.
The unicorn looked up at Appleheart and said.
"Yes, thanks to you mister."
Appleheart smiled and said.
"Your welcome, now if you excuse me I'll be going now."
As Appleheart started to walk off the unicorn stopped him.
"Wait um my name is Catherine by the way. What's yours?"
"My name is not important I'm on a mission to get a book from the frozen north," said Appleheart.
When Catherine heard that she was socked.
"What? but how can a book be so important?" She asked.
"Because my father is an alicorn and my mother is an earth pony, but unfortunately I was born a peguses instead of an alicorn. So I need to get that book so I can be a full alicorn," said Appleheart.
"Oh, I see but wait how were you able to use magic then?" Asked Catherine.
"Because a friend from the land of the dragons used his magic to make me an alicorn, but the affects are only temporary," said Appleheart.
"I think I understand now and I would like to come with you," said Catherine.
When she said that Appleheart looked back at her.
"Sorry but I work alone."
"What?" Asked Catherine, shocked to hear that he wanted to fine the book alone.
"You heard me, I said I work alone."
"But I still don't see why I can't come along?"

As Appleheart set off to get some warm clothes, so he could get going to the frozen north he saw Catherine following him.
*Sigh* "You won't stop until you come with me, will you?" Asked Appleheart.
"Nope," said Catherine.
"Alright fine you can come, but only you do exactly as I say,"
Catherine looked at Appleheart and nodded.
"Alright, I'll do exactly what you say."
With that Appleheart and Catherine set off to the market place, once there the owner greeted them.
"Ah hello young ones and what can I do you two for?" She asked.
"We're here to buy some clothes suitable for going to the frozen north," said Appleheart.
"Oh I see well I do have some great snow coats in my store, so come in and see what you like," said the owner.
"Thank you," said Catherine, as she and Appleheart went into the mare's shop.
As they looked in the shop they found lots of clothes until they found the clothes that they were looking for.
"Hmmmm this one looks good," said Appleheart as he looked at a winter coat that matched his mane and tail.
"Oh good choice on that coat, it's one of the best," said the owner.
"And what about this one?" Asked Catherine, as she levitated a pink winter coat.
With that Appleheart and Catherine bought the coats and set off to the train station to go to the frozen north. back at the place Applejack, Chris, Twilight, Mark, and their friends were waiting for news about Appleheart.
"Don't worry Applejack, I'm sure that Appleheart is alright," said Fluttershy.
"Yeah I mean he's just probably out in Canterlot looking at all of the stores and stuff," said Rainbow Dash.
Applejack just sighed.
"I know I should not worry but if anything happens to Appleheart I will never forgive myself."
Just then the guards came back from Canterlot.
"Well did you find him?" Asked Celestia.
The guards just shook their heads.
"We're sorry your majesty but we looked all over and no sign of him," said Flash Sentry.
"Then we should widen the search from Ponyville to the Crystal Empire," said Luna.
"Auntie Luna is right, we should widen the search now," said Starlight.
With that the guards saluted and set off to widen the search for Appleheart.
"Um Celestia?" Asked Twilight.
"Yes, what is it Twilight?" Asked Celestia.
"Well we were thinking and we all want to go and search for Appleheart."
"That's a great idea twilight, we all should search but remember we need to watch out for Shadowflames, cause he can be anywhere," said Celestia.
With that they all set off to find Appleheart. Meanwhile at the train station Appleheart and Catherine were in line to get tickets to go to frozen north.
"Next," said the stallion in the ticket window.
"Well we're next," said Appleheart.
"So where are you two heading?" Asked the ticket stallion.
"We are heading to the frozen north," said Catherine.
"I see, but I'm afraid that Van Hoover is the end of the line for the train," said the ticket stallion.
"Then we will take two tickets there and we will walk to the frozen north," said Appleheart.
With that the ticket stallion gave them two tickets and then they set off for Van Hoover. As the two found their seats Catherine asked Appleheart.
"Are you still not going to tell me your name?"
Applehart looked at Catherine and said.
"Oh, oh right my name is Appleheart."
"Appleheart, the one that the guards in Canterlot were looking for?" Asked Catherine.
"Yes."
"So wait a minute that stuff you said when we first met in the ally, but why are you hiding from the guards?" Catherine asked.
"Because I was afraid that if they saw me as an alicorn they and my family wouldn't understand why I am doing this," said Appleheart.
"I see."
"So speaking of family, what about your family Catherine?" Asked Appleheart.
When Catherine heard that Appleheart wanted to hear about her family she turned away from him and looked outside.
"Catherine, what's wrong?"
Catherine looked at Appleheart and said in a sad voice.
"It's just that, I hardly even knew my family."
Appleheart was shocked.
"What? What happened?" He asked.
"All I know is that I was taken out of my bed when I was little by some short of dark pony and that's all I can remember what happen to me," Catherine said sadly.
"Oh Catherine I'm so sorry," said Appleheart as he hugged her.
"Thanks Appleheart." said Catherine.
"Your welcome."
With that they went to sleep so they could be ready to be at Van Hoover tomorrow.
