War has come to Earth. Millions are dead or dying in a massive alien invasion, in what might possibly mean the end of Humanity as a whole. Our last hope rests with XCOM, a secret organization comprised of the best soldiers, Scientists, and Engineers to help beat back this invasion. A simple mistake by Rainbow Dash thrusts her and many other ponies into this war-torn earth, as XCOM and Equestrians now stand side by side to stop this invasion.

For over a thousand years, humans were the guardians of Equestria, until they went extinct over 500 years ago. Recently a human brought from another world to help Twilight has caught the attention of Princess Celestia. Could this lost man be the one to protect Equestria from evil like the past? One thing is for sure, Equestria is in danger, and they need a Lightspeed Rescue.

We did not want this war....

For us, there is no glory in conflict.

We fight, not for honor or pride, but for survival.

Whether it be the Alliance or Empire, we shall defeat our enemies.

We will Sacrifice when necessary....

We will NEVER Surrender.

Luna will guide us out of this dark time.

Two Hundred years since the Equestrians tried to Eradicate us.

And yet, here we stand, stronger than ever.

And our old friends wish to have another go at us.

We will show them how impossible their task is.

And we will show Celestia that we are not a second rate species.
