Musician, artist, and occasional writer of prose. I've not really indulged in the latter the past ten years or so, so I hope I can keep up with my ideas when given the chance.

I like ponies (shocker!). My favourites are the dashing Scootaloo and the cool Rainbow Dash, but I also adore Pinkie, Sweetie Belle, and a dozen others. Actually, I like them all. This too must be shocking.

I try not to be a jerk and have the universe be my school: I'm here to learn and express. Friends are very important - and I treasure those that allow me to keep a hold of my imagination.

Don't Let Her Down

Following "Why I Do It", this continuation expands on the challenges that Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo face when spending more time together. While Rainbow Dash juggles her concerns for loyalty and her reputation, Scootaloo tries hard to be worthy of her friendship, as well as finding a way to thank her for the greatest promise she's ever been made: that of getting her cutie mark.

While the original story is fairly light-hearted and filled with adventure, this sequel digs a little deeper into the two ponies' plights and interaction, running into more mature themes in the process. So, if you'd rather your pony stories stay fully sugar-coated, I hope you'll like the preceding tale instead.

Chief supporting characters in this story include Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Twilight Sparkle, and Spitfire.

Why I Do It

"Why I Do It" is a simple read centered on the relationship, such as it is, between Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. In a tale of adventure and personal strife it explores Scootaloo's fascination with the older, more accomplished pegasus, as well as challenging her hopes, dreams, and perspectives. On the other hand, Rainbow Dash is challenged with a task far out of her comfort zone in dealing with the unpredictable filly, who tries whatever she can to fall in her good graces.

Though the story focuses on the character's interactions with a somewhat cerebral style, the setting involves a grounding dose of schoolyard dramatics and a desperate trip into the dangerous Everfree Forest sure to be filled with action. There's also a sequel in the works that further builds on the here established developments, but this fanfic should be able to stand on its own as is, and is intended to be a finished work.

Peripheral characters include the other cutie mark crusaders: Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, Diamond Tiara, Applejack, and Cheerilee.

This is also my first ever true fanfiction, so go easy on me!

I'm barely comfortable working with myself, so I don't think I'm quite ready for a collab. And I'm a sensitive sort on top of that, so, hmm.. sorry!

I made a Scootaloo story, but it's kinda dark. Check it out, if you wanna.
