2055768 I find nuclears weapons a little bit scary, even if they are fascinating at the same time. From what I know we were pretty close to destroying ourselves at least few times, so I wonder if it wasn't just a luck... On the other hand, there were interesting ideas on using nuclear explosions for geoenineering for example. Too bad we ended up being too afraid to try using all this power for good. Well, at least there are now some interesting projects like thorium reactors...

2055526 While I am definetly a fan of both fallout and Kkats Fallout Equestria ive been interested in nuclear weapons and power in general for most of my life.

Since before I was born we've had far more than enough power to completely wipe ourselves out as a species, yet we havent. I find that kind of inspiring, like maybe the fact that were all still here is an indicator we might be mature enough as a species to responsibly wield the kind of power that used to be reserved for gods.

Huh, it's season finale? I found this place from HPMoR community while ago and only watched first three episodes of FiM so far... But I had chance to spend bunch time reading stories here and enjoyed it quite bit, so I'll probably catch up someday.
