Like rewinding a tape, this slow-motion train wreck is back, and even less plausible than before! Humans have been popping up in Equestria for a long time; Discord was either young or non-existent in the earliest days. They have always brought with them change, advanced technology, sometime even new magics. Ten years ago, two humans appeared, wreaking havoc and having a few laughs along the way.

This is not their story.

The gate to Nirn is open, permanently binding the realm to Equestria. In order to avoid the possibility of war with the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion, Princess Celestia has enlisted the help of Reman, an Imperial. the mission is simple, and seems easy enough, but things rarely go as planned. With the enemies on all sides, each faction preparing for war, things are about to go from bad, to worse for all involved.

This is pretty much a self-insert, mostly done for comedic purposes.

After a mishap with an invention of mine, a friend and I find ourselves in the magical land of Equestria. How will the peaceful land of Equestria handle the influx of two humans? Will Jay and I ever find a way back home? Will anyone give this story a fair shot? Read and find out.

Things that actually involve MLP:FiM begin in the second chapter.

A comet fragment exploded over Ponyville, showering the town and surrounding countryside with shards of crystalline iron and stone. Trapped in the comet's ice was an ancient life, perfectly tailored to its role and mechanically efficient. It has no concept of mercy, no concern for the native population, no sense of right and wrong. The invader is not some mindless monster or corrupt enslaver, it merely wishes to do what it was designed to do. Make no mistake in its goal, for though it does nothing out of malice, it is brutal and cunning and will stop at nothing to ensure its own survival. It thinks, it learns, it adapts, but it is most certainly not a pony...

... yet.

When his prey takes its own life, Hircine sends one of his hounds to a different realm for entertainment. A cosmic event heralds the coming of this warrior turned hound: Luna's moon turning a deep crimson.
