Twilight Sparkle learns that she has more power than any other pony, including the two princesses. When all of Equestria is attacked by an immensly powerful being, Twilight must learn to use her powers to save her home and everypony that she knows.

In a setting several years after the six main ponies of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic have split up to follow their dreams, things are going very well. Life is almost perfect, until a disturbance causes a meeting between the six pony friends. One of them has discovered a magic calendar that depicts all of the biggest achievments in history, and the last day of the calendar is only a few days away. The ponies must fight death, hunger, and cold as try to survive the ensuing events. Nopony knows quite how things will end up in this tribute to the famous 12/21/12 prediction.
