Somebody pm'd me to ask me how this was going to end and I realized I did in fact have it in me to post this. Sure wish I'd managed it six years ago! Things in parentheses are the bits that'd take too much time to handle in this format.

Your Mag and my Mag are different people living in different Worlds. We also have different ideas on what should happen and why.

For example, maybe having a goddess of the moon, magic and dreams living in your head is incredible dangerous.

Maybe humans literally break by changing by magic.

Maybe not even all the kings men, and all the king ponies cannot put broken Mag whole again, but if a wall cannot be repaired then you build a new wall.

Change is life, like it or not.

Life is movement; everything alive moves in some way.

And moment is despite what humans may want, not eternal.

It's just a dumb pun I put there after canceling A New Sun. There's an Anglo-Saxon poem called "The Wanderer." Here's a little bit of it:

"Her bið feoh læne, her bið freond læne , her bið mon læne , her bið mæg læne , eal þis eorþan gesteal idel weorþeð!"

Translation:
"Here wealth is fleeting,
here friend is fleeting,
here man is fleeting,
here woman is fleeting
—all this earthly habitation shall be emptied."

So what I've got up there is "Here, Mag is fleeting." Mag is the perspective character of A New Sun. As for the pronunciation, if I remember right, "ð" is pronounced like "th," as in "this" or "writhe;" "æ" is just a long "a," like "lace" or "may." So phonetically, it's pronounced "Hair bith Mag lane."

What does her bið Mag læne mean in English, and how do you pronounce it?

Don't sell yourself short my friend, i liked your story. It shows compassion for those gone ahead, look forward to seeing more of the same. Thanks for writing and sharing.

Appreciate the encouragement! I'm toying with some things, but still trying to decide if it's worth it.
