My computer is almost dead. · 8:45am
The computer I use has started refusing to join any wi-fi network with more than two other computers on it.
So... yeah. I can only update sporadically. If I get the chance to connect each, I'll dump a chapter or two, but no promises. This has hit at, quite literally, one of the worst possible times for me. Hopefully, I'll get more stuff out, but I might get stuck just going to the library and only being able to update ONS for a while, until I can somehow find enough money to get a new laptop, which might take a year or more, I probably won't be able to do or update many of my stories.
I am so, so sorry.
If my friends are able to get me one second-hand, or if I can finally find a job, then I'll be able to get more active again. Until then, I'm useless here.
Again, I'm deeply sorry, my friends.

My tale are of/
a realm in strife.
When darkness
and pain is life.
It's not the same;
as the world you tell.
Closer still,
to a living hell.
Demons are common,
and worse besides.
And one man left
the world derides.
Okay, I can't rhyme this stuff any more.
It's a VERY different world. because he literally cannot die under any circumstance, he outlived the human race through the apocalypse.
And the demons and devils left behind in the wake of it realize that they can't die until there are no more humans or the end of time comes.
The last human lives through that, and through the death and renewal of the universe. Eight reiterations of the cycle later, he's not only certifiably insane, but he's figured out how to travel sideways into new universal cycles each time the universe dies.
One does not collect legends of a single man, friend. History is rife with diversity and change, and no one man, no matter how great, can catalog them all.
In English, that means the farmer may not be the Forever Man. I left that fact ambiguous because the farmer's identity did not matter, only his deeds. Legends of the Lost Days is not solely about the Forever Man; he is only one character or many.

What tales of old I have are not of the Man of Journeys, or his home realm, but of another wanderer, whose eternal life is not so much a blessing as one brought by hard work and perseverance against evil.
After all, it's not often someone has no choice but to live forever.
Blink... and the world is gone to dust, a thousand years past. Blink again, and the world renews itself once more. Blink a third time and watch the universe itself collapse.
Blink again and watch it birth anew.
If you want to add to the anthology, feel free to do so. I'll include it in the Legends of the Lost Days index.

Not at all! Humble am to be fair.
The comment I made was a rhyme from off your own way back there.
Ah wait, I see what you did much to my pleasure,
you made a reference to my title, very clever.

I found it on one of the Epic Fail branches, the one for WIN.

Uhm... damnit, I have nothing.
In the meantime, would you maybe be willing to chat over the Banette idea? Even if you don't want a crossover to take place, would it be alright if I referenced yours with it?
I'm best at improving on other's ideas, so a brainstorming might work out well for the both of us.

I'll rhyme and alliterate with amazing acuity.
So many sonnets that, suddenly, stupidity.
I sing in my free time, it's just what I do.
Don't compete with me or I'll make a fool of you.
