Third installment of the Leech series - you'll need to read the other two first to understand this. I apologize for this in advance.

After months of being worshipped as heroes, Trixie and Leech must finally face normal life as Canterlot citizens - it seems in the superficial culture of Canterlot, even heroism has a shelf-life. After the furor has died down, Trixie has begun working the cabaret circuit with her magic shows - but can she compete amid Equestria's most talented and powerful unicorns? Her discovery of a new power may help her...

Meanwhile, just how does a changeling with the IQ of an empty potato sack get by in a society with such incredibly high standards?

We've all heard tales of what happens when changelings get taken in by ponies. However, in almost all these cases it's one of the so-called good ponies that finds and takes in the hapless insectoid. So what happens when an especially low-ranking changeling is found and taken in by an altogether less desirable character?

Well, as one might expect, things don't go to plan.

NOTE - this is the sequel to my other story, The Braggart and The Bug. This won't make much sense if you haven't read that first (sorry about that!).

Leech the Changeling is enjoying his new life as The Great and Powerful Trixie's assistant. Exiled from Pony civilization, they travel across the non-pony lands of Equestria, astounding and sometimes annoying the natives as they go. Leech certainly wouldn't ever want to go back to life in a Changeling hive now, even if his swarm wanted him to.

Of course, they'd probably never want him back anyway... would they?

Twilight Sparkle has always been content with having Spike as her number one assistant and Owlowicious as her number two. Together, they provide all the help and aid that she could ever need. But one night, during a hectic letter-writing session, a staffing problem and a miscast spell cause her to acquire a third assistant. One who seems just a little too keen to help...
