Wow...it has been so long since I've posted a new blog post. So...um...a little bit of good news and an appropriate amount of bad news as well.

Bad news first...

Luce's going to be put on temporary hiatus as I'm going to be out of town. Most may say, "Well you have large gaps in between posts so how does a hiatus matter?"

The "hiatus" is because I've been trying hard to speed up on my posts since the story is nearing the end of its first arc. The next chapter was going to be posted sometime within the next two days, providing you with the first actual contact between the Ponies/Humans and the Spec Ops group, along with the most action that has been seen in this story to date. With the big action chunk out of the way, then I could pop off another two chapters or so within the next week and a half.

Now...First Contact has been finished, and just needs to be edited for mistakes, some parts filled out a bit more, and then it would have been released, but I've got to go somewhere for a couple of days with no access to the internets, and that couple of days could easily stretch to a full week depending on whether or not my family members will be satisfied with only a deer or two, plus a hog.

Several parts for the last chapter or so of the first arc have also been written so I don't go off on a tangent and make the background plot any thicker than it already is. There is so much that I'm going to try to explain so expect another 9k+ chapter in the future to cover another encounter/memory.

Now for the good news sorta.

I transferred over the documents to my Ipod so I can continue working on them. I've also, finally, gotten myself a pair of earphones with a microphone, so instead of writing the story, I'll just tell it orally then transcribe it over when I get back, lot easier to keep your thoughts from disappearing on you like that. I'm pretty proficient with the Ipod touch so the physical editing shouldn't be too bad, plus I've been using music to solidify mini-movies within my mind until I can write them down. So once I get back there should be at least, at least, two moderately sized chapters within two days of each other, with the next one coming out within the next three after that. By moderately I mean roughly around five thousand words each. These next couple of chapters will see the conclusion of one song, and the beginning of the next, along with being as action packed as I can make them without being to much filler or nonessential detail.

on a random note...has anyone seen the Jack Reacher movie? and if you have or have not, have you read the books? Give me you opinion on the movie and if you think Tom Cruise portrayed the character of ex-Major MP Jack Reacher well enough.
