There's actually an opening prologue, but I don't like it right now and want to overhaul it, so I won't link it. Think of this as you have the beta, I have the alpha (chapters you can't see), no one has a released version.
I want readers to be able to leave comments. Let me know if you can/can't.
Try to read this as if you were a critic instead of a star-crossed fan of the show (not that I don't love that).
Anyways, opening of Kindred Spirits was completely fucking horrible (of which I was notified the moment it was published). Me? I thought it was hot shit at the time, but now that I go back and read it I'm embarrassed.
So you tell me if it's good or not.
Oh, and I'm almost always in the doc, so if you just want someone to talk to you about getting out of suicide or maybe about how your day or my day is going, just drop on in.
Or if you want to say "Fuck you Cottonmouth, you lead me on for 100k words before dropping your readers off a cliff", that's fine too.

Hey Cotton, I don't know how your life and stuff is, but please continue writing Kindred Spirits again sometime. It really is a great story, and to find it again after a year just to see it have no new updates at all.. Well, to say it made me sad might be a bit too strong, but you get my point.
We must keep this in mind friends. He comes online, that mean he hasn't disappeared off the map like other authors. Perhaps life has gotten a hold on him, either way though I believe we all want him to update we. Cottonmouth, I wish you the absolute best on all your endeavors. Thanks for all that you have written so far, Kindred Spirits is perhaps one of the greatest stories that help expand the relationship between Spike and the world of Equestria. I wish you the absolute bestest.
