Got something for you to read. I ain't uploading it as a story because I don't trust myself to finish anything anymore.
Only read this if you understand that it will probably amount to nothing. In other words only if you have some time to waste.

There's actually an opening prologue, but I don't like it right now and want to overhaul it, so I won't link it. Think of this as you have the beta, I have the alpha (chapters you can't see), no one has a released version.
I want readers to be able to leave comments. Let me know if you can/can't.
Try to read this as if you were a critic instead of a star-crossed fan of the show (not that I don't love that).
Anyways, opening of Kindred Spirits was completely fucking horrible (of which I was notified the moment it was published). Me? I thought it was hot shit at the time, but now that I go back and read it I'm embarrassed.
So you tell me if it's good or not.
Oh, and I'm almost always in the doc, so if you just want someone to talk to you about getting out of suicide or maybe about how your day or my day is going, just drop on in.
Or if you want to say "Fuck you Cottonmouth, you lead me on for 100k words before dropping your readers off a cliff", that's fine too.

I liked this. This would be a sad fic it seems like. nice to read one that seems to be about depression rather than spike dieing to dragon pox or something.
Should that be 'stapler' instead?
Also, you should totally release this on fimiction. Just have it start with 'on Hiatis'

If so, I probably can't change your mind, but even if you think your story is shit, me and seemingly everyone else think it's frigging spectacular.
Anyway, I'll check out this google-doc-story-thing soon, it looks pretty good.
Yeah, I am not sure why you think Kindred Spirits' opening in bad, I think it IS the hot shit. But yeah, I am reading the doc, I like it. Anyway, so I am guessing you cancelled Kindred? Sorry if I am being picky

That was good. A tad sad and very... solemn. There was a small chat on the document about where the story was leading. Something about a competition and Las Pegasus. Sadly I closed the page before reading it. It's a good start, I would follow it.

He did not say that. He only stated that the linked story fragment above may not finalize into a finished fic, and that be believes that the opening of Kindred Spirits was ass. Until he comes out and says it is dead, or the story goes from "Incomplete" to "Abandoned", it is too early to despair.
I started reading Kindred Spirits last year, and I was enjoying it. It doesn't have to be an awesome flawless manuscript of grammar and text, or characterization down to a T to win readers. I enjoyed it more for the world building, content, and adventure. However, it is your choice to continue, not mine even if I regret not seeing the conclusion of this story, C'est la vie.
So.... what happened?
