When I heard of black and white 2's coming to North america, I literally got into a few fights just to preorder it at my local gamestop/EB games. Such a big thing it was that I spent half my earnings buying it, I was going to play until I got a visit from my cousin whom I had previously begged and pleaded for him to offer me his extra cyndaquil and chikorita. He agreed.. On terms that I don't open my game until November.

Now usually I wouldn't have agreed to these terms, however I told myself that November wasn't so far away and I was really desperate for those 2. As such, I purchased White 2 and kept the wrapper on till November, and my cousin, who was visiting for his birthday, kept his part of the trade and gave me a lv. 1 Chikorita and Cyndaquil (I felt so trolled when he told me they were babies, but get this, he bred the cyndaquil's dad with a shiftry and it knows extrasensory!) So now my current party houses an Oshawott, a Chikorita, a Cyndaquil and a Watchog.

In pony-related stuff, Countdown to the gala is on temporary hiatus, while I work on a few other projects. I also added some other stories to my "recommended" list. On top of that, I felt like giving you guys a sample of a new fic I'm working on: Through stars and Whooves. (At least that's the name for now ^_^')A collaboration made by me and ...wait for it... Enigmamystere, the mind behind Epic rap battles of MLP! Although sorry, no sample here. Another cool fic I'm working on is Salad of ponies, And yes, I can provide a sample:

In Ponyville, not much happens. Ponies go around, minding what business was respectfully theirs, talking about the weather, work, foals and most importantly of all: Dinner. Y’see, not many ponies knew how to cook in the fair town, they were either taught from their parents from generation to generation, or had attended Canterlot’s royal culinary school. Those in Ponyville who knew how to bake, cook, and/or grill were expected to share their talent with all, and that is how places like sugarcube corner, chez fancy, and Joe’s donut shop opened up their doors to the public.

All eating-places got their main ingredients from sweet apple acres or directly imported from Manehattan’s many farms. When a restaurant had bad food, either poorly looking or with a very bad smell, many complaints were had. And this is the exact purpose of our story here. Because you see, sometimes it’s not the chefs, but what goes into the food that can be far more critical on a normal equine than a bad tummy ache….

Back to Ponyville, where in the middle of our previously mentioned silence a bell rings with enough volume for the majority of the town to hear. Almost instantly, more than a hundred hungry unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies stampede their way to the nearest eatery to chow down. In sugarcube corner, the suspense is thick enough to be cut with a knife. As Ms. Cake readies the barriers, Pinkie pie helps the twins as far away from the counter as possible and Mr. cake takes out the last dozen dandelion sandwiches from the oven.

And finally, the trio all jumps behind the counter and put on soldier helmets. The clock ticks, and ticks, and ticks, and tic-

-BBBAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM!”

Sugarcube corner’s door went flying off its hinges and the first wave of hungry ponies led by Lyra Heartstrings started assaulting the barricade.

-We want food! We want hay! We want food! We want apples!” They chanted like a group of loud, starved zombies. The barricade took more stomps and Mr. Cake had quite the worried look on his face. Realizing evasive maneuver was to be taken, Pinkie pie grabbed pumpkin cake and had her activate a force field.

-I’m going in!” she declared. It was her duty as waitress
