Phew... been a long time hasn't it?
I'm a sporadic, small-time writer from England. I struggle to write very much, for reasons including my own lack of intellectual determination. I enjoy guns, literature and love my girlfriend dearly.
Ok so I got a little overexcited and slung that chapter up without checking it. I have successfully and for the first time (I hope) made a complete prat of myself. But I vow upon my malformed imagination that I shall have it ready tomorrow, it being too late now and whatever I write would be tainted by exhaustion.
I humbly beg your forgiveness.
Edit: Ok, sorry for all that rubbish. Here's a chapter for you.
Hello again my children...
I have made a few minute changes. Thanks to the excellent advice I have received I decided to extend the introduction and combine it with the preface, to give the story a little more preemptive punch. To reward your kindness I shall sling another chapter your way. Keep putting in the boot of criticism!
Edit: Whoops, just spotted a glaring error in the new chapter. Please be patient, normal service will be resumed shortly.
One of my biggest fears concerning my work is that, well, does it work? Does the writing flow? Or not? Do the sentences conjure imagery or nausea? So, I would be eternally grateful if those who read it could leave some feedback. I need to know what's wrong, so I can correct it, and what's right, to both drive away the constant nerves and prop up my fragile ego.
If you are at all reading the damn thing, you are officially a splendid person. Thank you.
