OK, so I intended to post about it when it first came up, but apparently I forgot to hit the submit button.
I finally got a physical copy of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective!
Here's hoping it helps me fall in love with the game all over again so I can continue on Death Wish!
Pony riffing has been on a decline for the last several months. That's a fact that's been. No one has outputted pony riffs in awhile (due to my own circumstances I've only done not-pony riffs) and most have migrated over to Rage Reviews; Sigma's in particular are basically riffs distilled to their purest form. I suppose it's a place I could check out and see if I could be part of, but it's not likely since pony is not currently a primary interest of mine. A few days ago, Fallen Prime, one of
Since it's such a milestone and pretty much everyone else I know who's into riffing (or at least was) is in PonyRiffs, it felt appropriate to talk about here that today, July 26th, 2014, is the third anniversary of Game Over MST. The official celebration is with the conclusion of Main line Episode 10; all links are, of course, available in the module if you want to check it out (though cursing inevitably gets involved, it is a Teen fic).
Mostly this is to get that giant image off my main profile.
Crossovers are a fun idea. Getting two different casts from two different works to meet and interact forms a fresh-seeming dynamic for how one group reacts to a group that doesn't operate like them to some degree. Like any other type of fanfic, crossover fics have their place. There are some good ones, as anyone who's watched Turnabout Storm or read Aitran will tell you.
No, Twilight, only the group of assassins with fedoras and black vests.
An update on the progress of Death Wish (I'm OK with you guys still using Death Wish): it's... really slow going. I mean, you could probably already tell that, it's been four months since the last chapter. But not all of those four months have been entirely spent working on it. University, of course, is the major factor; I've been liking a few of my classes, but one of them is such an energy sink...
Well, I don't know how to classify this one in my riff module.
The Multi-Universe Riffing Project (M.U.R.P.) [[NSFW]] is a series by the pony riffers of this site to riff fics for other fandoms. It has fairly recently been rebooted by six of our members: electreXcessive, TheAuthorGl1m0, Fallen Prime, twow443, Sigma, and Atlas_Nebula. And technically myself by virtue of doing non-pony riffing before any of them.
