Well, a friend let me download a few things off his computer, pictures, word docs, ect, and somehow I ended up getting a fucking nasty virus. It locked up my computer and I had to have the whole thing wiped. This completely blindsided me, and I haven't done my monthly back up of anything. Both Lost and Blind and The Tale of Lord Barleycorn's new chapters bit the dust, but the virus is gone.

My last gift was writing a short Sonic the Hedgehog fic for a friend so that was eating up my time to write MLP stuff. with that distraction gone, the next chapters of both stories will start coming quicker.

Okay, several weeks ago before I went on vacation I mentioned my cat having eye problems. Well, when I came back from my vacation I found him weeping blood, or more accurately, serum which is a red watery fluid, like plasma but with color. His Neovascular glaucoma had progressed to the point where his eye was about to rupture.

Well, for some time now, my computer that I keep offline and work on has finally given up the ghost, and right when I was about to quit for the night. A whole night of work on Lost and Blind is now lost to the Ether, and now I'm left with my lappy. Admittedly my old computer was 9 years old but it functioned marvelously aside from a few hiccups. This has happened a few times, where the operating system has just disappeared but I'm finally decided to get a new one.

last month I noticed my cat's eye is bulging outward, and got him to the vet. The prognosis wasn't not good, he's either got glaucoma or its a brain tumor. I chose to wait it out, getting some cream in his eye to see if it would go down. Thankfully he's an older cat and isn't too bad about getting his medicine. His eye seemed to be going down, until I noticed that the white of his eye had turned a blood red. So this coming wensday he'll be going back to the vet to have his eye removed. I can

Just to clarify, the new Lost and Blind is taking a different direction, sorry to disappoint those who have read this far. I've deleted the old chapters after downloading them to my laptop (I tend to hoard my projects). Expect to see a new chapter soon, which will explain more.
