I have indeed returned after losing a laptop. It's quite the tale involving an angry Russian mother, a small party picnic, Breaking Bad branded crystal meth candy, the North Atlantic ocean and being awake for over 24 hours, spending at least 4 of them walking in the rain. Dead serious, that is honest to god the reason I've been away due to a loss of laptop. It's quite the tale.

You know, a lot of ideas I have for stories fall by the wayside. Some because they're not a good idea when I start writing them, some because I feel I'm not doing it justice; and some because I can't write crossover without feeling that if someone else has done it, I'm no longer original. Of course, nothing is original, but it doesn't change that feeling.

... You know, it's just occurred to me I could die at any moment. It's not likely, but it could happen. So this got me to thinking "What happens to my stories and whatnot if I die prematurely?" which I'll admit is an odd thing to be thinking of, but this is what happens at 3 AM with nothing to do. You start pondering some strange things that are entirely irrelevant - such as whether cowboys or pirates would win in a fight (it's still undecided, but I lean toward cowboys).

I don't update regularly. I never have. I likely never will. But I also feel I shouldn't, say, leave a story without update for 2 months without reason - which I have. I'm sorry for the lack of activity, I have no reasoning or excuse for it. I am, however, going to be setting deadlines; they'll likely be over-compensating and a little vague on actual times, but unless something major comes up I'll finish a story by deadline.

Just a little update to let you all know that updates might be slowed - as a student, I still have to do various standardized tests. Easter is around the corner, so I'll be headed on holiday, enjoying some time in the sun when I'm not cooped up either reading or revising. Hope you all have some good times!

I know this won't be relevant to a majority of people, but I wrote a crossover for Dishonored known as "Honor for All". While I think it's actual writing is decent, I feel cheap and uneasy knowing that, though the plot diverges from the game eventually, it won't for a while. The feedback to it has been neutral at best, and probably closer to negative in reality. I'll leave it up for a week or so, so that people read this, but it'll be removed from the site after that. I'm just not comfortable
