Welcome back, writers! Bit by bit, things return to what’s regularly scheduled. Work on Axtara – Magic and Mayhem has resumed, Being a Better Writer is finally coming at the usual rate again, and I’m kicking out a nasty flu that has long overstayed its welcome.
Unsurprisingly, it’s been a little rough trying to pull my head back into work. It’s … part of grief, as I understand it.
But part of it is also the timing. Axtara – Magic and Mayhem was almost done with its first Alpha Read. And now?
It’s been a strange last couple of weeks. You may have noticed that there wasn’t a Being a Better Writer post on Monday, which was consequence of two things. First, that it was a holiday (President’s Day) and I seized on that with no small amount of fervor, but second, that I’d had LTUE the week before.
