So, for the month of November I've decided to write a 50k word Dash of Humanity story. I'm about 15k words in and I realized how quiet it is just... writing... all by my lonesome. And how easily distracted I am. So I had the idea to share my progress and maybe some scenes from the story to help me stay focused and moving forward.
If this goes well, I'll continue to share excerpts of the Comedy: Dash of Humanity 3: Live, Fly, Reboot.*
TL;DR
Lately I saw Dune, The Eternals, Army of Darkness, and Free Guy. All good movies.
Had to go to the theater to see The Eternals, and it was nice to get out and about for once. Helped break me out of my funk.
What do you like to do when you're in a slump?
Anything in particular that motivates you?
Any tips for focus and passion when trying to write scenes so you don't rush?
With the winter weather fully set in, I've felt myself slowing down this week. Compounded with the boring routines and tiredness from work, I'm finding myself rather unmotivated. So I'm looking for suggestions.
I need to meet more people interested in editing or helping me brainstorm ideas for 2 upcoming stories.
Stories this week:
Welcome everypony, to Halloween 2021 Horror stories!
Due to fim fic rules, I can't link directly to some stories as they're rated M.
On Fim Fic's discord a few brave authors decided to usher in a new gen 5 era of grim dark for the new mane 5. To write the stories we never could... Cue Avenger's theme.
This blog may bounce around my thoughts a bit more than usual, but contains plenty of cool stuff to check out. It's been a random week.
I finally got some writing done this week with one more cupcake in the oven.
I am going to pin this on my user page so that people can actually find some useful information.
My stories are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes I tried, sometimes I didn't, always I welcomed story prompts and commissions in my quest to explore every genre that existed.
