Alright, so as you may or may not know, I've been working on badgering a bunch of artists into taking all of my money and drawing stuff from Bechdel's Law and Morrow for me.
I've come a looong way from awkwardly smashing two plastic pony toys together whilst making kissy-kissy noises... Haven't I?
So it turns out that I still have some money of my little bonus left, after the purchase of more crucial items like a Senseo coffee maker, a new pair of glasses, and some hilariously expensive whisky (my new, guilty pleasure now that my cognac obsession has waned). Which means that I can set my devious master plan in motion, and go for world domination - erm, I mean, commission a few artists to create cover art / illustrations for Bechdel's Law (and perhaps my non-clop story Morrow). I'm
So after the adorable and touching little reference to Bechdel's Law in the story This is Enough... (if you haven't read it, and you like touching, SFW Twilestia stuff, I recommend that you do!), now there's actually someone writing a follow-up to my little yarn?
I'd like to extend my apologies to Applejack fans who were looking forward to A.J.'s memoirs in my story Bechdel's Law - yes, all 1.5 of you. Wait, grandma; don't leave! - because you're going to have to wait a little while longer. I.. got distracted. By Mist Twister's wonderful little story This is enough... which actually referenced BL by including some mention of
Well, I've officially reserved my spot in Pony Hell. XD
Just wanted to wipe the blemish of that last entry off my userpage, so here's a totally uncalled for list of what I've got cooking right now:
- The penultimate chapter of Morrow.
- First chapter of a cute clopfic I've been playing around with for a while now. 7000+ words already. Nearly done. Twilighty goodness. Kinda scared to publish it, though.
(Haha, the title refers to a meme. Where do I come up with this stuff?)
Okay, so, roughly at the point where I was making the umpteenth pass through the new chapter to Morrow and decided I'd officially written the worst thing ever, I done hit the publish button. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time! (I'll probably hate myself for it in the morning.)
I may be deluding myself in thinking anyone cares either way - with so many other, more awesome stories to enjoy! - but despite the lengthy delay I wanted you all to know I haven't abandoned this story. I really, really want to finish it, in fact; I do enjoy writing it, so very much.
