You know you've been around the internet for a long time when... · 9:20am Aug 27th, 2014

1. You know what dial-up is, and remember having it and the sound it made.

2. Rule 34 and other various rules don't even make you bat an eye.

3. You remember Youtube's old rating system.

4. You can separate the classic memes from the newer ones without any effort.

5. You remember a really funny video and go to look it up again, only to find it was uploaded four or more years ago.

So... What do you guys think? · 8:14am Aug 19th, 2014

I'm thinking of working on a short shipping fic in the near future. The question I wish to ask, is which do you guys want to see more?

Would you rather have me write a Spitfire ship that might contain some clop, or would you guys prefer I continue the TwiTavia ship that I already laid the groundwork for?

I'm still in the planning/brainstorming phase, so if you guys want to see an idea implemented, leave a comment. If I use it, I'll credit you for the idea(s).

I got a feeling... · 9:53am Jul 24th, 2014

That I'll be finishing up a chapter for something very soon. And yes, I actually mean it this time, no procrastination attached.

The highlight of my night · 6:39am Jul 19th, 2014

After work, I went to the bar with a couple of coworkers and their friends to hang out and chill. After being there for about an hour or so, the conversation somehow got to be about what we would "settle for" if you catch my drift. This is a generalization of the conversation, as I can't quite quote it word for word. For the record, the coworker I was talking with had drunk a decent bit by this point.

Coworker: "I'd tap that." *motions to girl on other side of the room*

Small arms of the Second World War, Part 4: Japan · 5:50am Jul 16th, 2014

This blog/list will not contain all of the weapons used by Japan, but will try to list most of those that saw widespread service during the war. Prototypes or limited service/production weapons will usually not be listed, unless I deem otherwise. This list is in no way a complete inventory of the weapons used by the Japanese military during WWII, and should not be treated as such.

Pistols:

Nambu Type 14

Small Arms of the Second World War, Part 1: America · 9:14am Jun 11th, 2014

I've decided to do a series of blog posts covering infantry weapons that were used during WWII. I shall look at each nation individually and try to list as many weapons as I can that were commonly used in frontline service by their respective factions.

Random stuff again, WWII edition (You thought I forgot about it, didn't you?) · 9:20am Jun 9th, 2014

Boredom once again finds me thinking about random things. Instead of random things about myself this time, I'll just post random facts about WWII or the surrounding time frame.

If you guys would like me to answer any questions you have, feel free to ask.

Fact time!

1. Sniper rifle variants of the M1 Garand rifle were produced and mounted with off-set scopes, so as not to obstruct the magazine.
